Breaking Down Photography Topics & Thoughts
===

[00:00:00] Scott Wyden Kivowitz: Hello, photographer friends. So it's been a while since I've done an episode of photo breakdown and I'm wondering. If I should revive it. With a twist.

[00:00:13] Not just having guests on where we break down photos, not just breaking down my own photos either, but photo breakdown could mean a variety of things. Sure.

[00:00:24] It could mean breaking down a photo. Just assembling it, figuring out, discussing. What went into this photo? The behind the scenes, the makings of a photo. But I'm wondering if photo breakdown could also be thoughts. And potentially conversations just about something in the photo industry. Whatever it might be. So for example, For example. The Nikon Zf came out. I love that camera. And it's a little controversial, which I was surprised at. [00:01:00] Lot of people saying that this retro thing is a fad. People saying that there's too many dials where they'd rather have less dials. People saying it's just not up to par with the pro bodies, which I disagree.

[00:01:13] I think it totally is. There are some things I don't like about it. The micro SD card as the secondary card. I understand why, but why Nikon did that, but, you know, I'd rather be to SD cards, for example. No, I love the camera. It is my daily camera. So I'm wondering if. Sort of ramblings or dialogue monologues and conversations about things like this, things that are happening in photography, or just things are a top of mind for a specific photographer. Is that something you'd be interested in? So I'm putting this out there.

[00:01:50] I want to know. Send me an email, go to my website, go to photobreakdown.com. Click on contact.

[00:01:56] Let me know. Is something like this, something you [00:02:00] would want to listen to. Do you want to hear me talk about. Different photography topics. Do you want to hear others talk about different photography topics that are just top of mind? These are all be short episodes. Photo breakdown. Historically. Our short episodes, 15, 20 minutes at most. So I would also keep these short. So I don't take up too much of your time, but you get to hear people's opinions on things and maybe you disagree, you know? Spotify has a comment feature.

[00:02:27] Now you can comment on episodes. Podchaser has a commenting feature. GoodPods has a commenting feature. Apple Podcasts does not yet. They probably will add one. So you could always engage depending on the platform you're listening to on.

[00:02:43] So I'm wondering if I should do this and you can chime in on these, on these topics. I could even open up for you to send me voice notes. Depending on a topic and I can include those voice notes in episodes. So let me know what you think. Let [00:03:00] me know if you think that I should be.

[00:03:02] If you like the idea, not if I should, but if you like the idea, cause I kind of want to do this. Let me know if you like the idea. Of just having a breakdown on a topic, a specific topic in the photo industry, in the world of photography at this point in time. Thanks for listening again, go to photobreakdown.com. [00:03:23] Send me a note. Let me know what you think about this.
