The Estherpreneur

We live in a world full of voices defining identity—coaches, culture, religion, and performance metrics. But transformation doesn’t come from collecting more opinions. It comes from agreeing with what God is saying now.

In this episode of The Estherpreneur Podcast, we confront the uncomfortable truth that the version of you that survived your last season cannot lead you into the next one. Through scripture, story, and real-life application, I explore the difference between restoration and resurrection.

In this conversation, I unpack:

1. Why trying to do new things with old mindsets creates frustration and burnout
2. How survivor mentality once helped you—but now hinders growth
3. What resurrection looks like in leadership, business, and calling
4. How surrender and silence position you to hear God’s whisper clearly
5. The peace and alignment that mark a resurrected life

God is not reviving the old version of your promise—He’s bringing forth something entirely new. And new life requires a new identity.

If you sense God calling you out of striving and into something deeper, this episode will help you release what no longer belongs to you—and step into the new with confidence and trust!

Edna Harding [00:00:00]:
Welcome to Estrepreneur, a podcast for entrepreneurs and leaders doing business and life God's way. Each week we discuss biblical and practical tips to improve your mind, business, spirit, relationships and finances. Listen along as I speak with special guests on how to thrive in all aspects of life. Hi, I'm Edna. Like many of you, I wear many hats. I'm a military wife, mother, author, certified John Maxwell business and executive coach, trainer and founder of Favor and wealth, where we help the good guides win. So tune in as we bring on the light. Well, hello everyone.

Edna Harding [00:00:42]:
Thank you for tuning in for another episode of the Esspreneur podcast. My name is Edna Harding and I'm nothing but a messenger of life. In today's episode, we're going to talk about identities and specifically the true identity of the body of Christ. There is so much noise out there where you don't know if something is real, you don't know if something is authentic. I mean, everything looks good. You don't like right now there's so many so called leaders, so many so called coaches, so many so called teachers, so many so called Scott scholars, so much so called knowledge. There's so much, so much all up in our face that's constantly like, let me just give you as a prime example. So you know, they'll say carbs is not good.

Edna Harding [00:01:34]:
No carbs is good. Beef is not good. No beef is good. Like there's so many conflicting voices. And so today what the Holy Spirit wanted me to talk about is specifically our identity. Who God says we are, what the Bible says our identity is, and versus what religion says our identity is, or what our own pride, egotistical self says our identity is, or even what other people say our identity is. There is a true identity and I'm speaking specifically to those people who are in the body of Christ. But before we begin, I just want to open up in prayer and then we could get started.

Edna Harding [00:02:16]:
Dear Lord, we just thank you so much for my brothers and sisters who are listening on this other side of the airwaves. Father, we thank you, God, that you're in our midst. And Father, I just pray that as I speak, oh God, that you will be the one to give me the words to speak and that you will show me, Lord, which route you want me to go. Lord God, Lord, we love you, we honor you. We thank you for all of these things. In Jesus name, amen. You know, when I was planning for this episode, I was really asking the Lord, Holy Spirit, like, lord, what do you want me to teach them right No, I understand that this is primarily business people, but I believe there are people who just happen to stumble to this, to this podcast who is not really business people. And so I'm also speaking to you because I want you to know that it's not an accident that you're here and that there's a reason why God sent you to this specific episode.

Edna Harding [00:03:06]:
But before I go into, you know, the meat of this episode, I want to share a quick story. So last weekend we as a family went to Stars and Strikes. This is in Huntsville, where we went to go play bowling in the arcades. We have two little girls. We have a six year old and a four year old. And my eldest, Aleyah, she was, she wanted to play this like, shooting, shooting, water thing, game. She kept losing to my four year old, right? She kept losing to my four year old. And I'm like, why does she keep losing? And so the Holy Spirit told me to go look at what she's doing.

Edna Harding [00:03:43]:
And so I was just kind of staring at her, kind of looking at what she's doing. And I noticed that she kept looking at where Anaya's thing was. Since My youngest, my 4 year old, she would like, look at the other person. Anaya's shooting like where she is versus staying looking at hers. And I remember I told her, I was like, aleyah, stop looking at her side. Just look at yours and focus on your target. And so she did it. She didn't look to the left or the right, she just looked on target and she.

Edna Harding [00:04:15]:
That's what she did. She just shot, shot, shot, and she won. And then she was like. And then she wanted to do it again. And then she won again. And then the third time, she won again. So what is this saying? What I'm telling you is if you keep looking at other people around you versus just staying in your lane, focusing on your journey with the Lord, you will continue to lose. Yeah, I said it.

Edna Harding [00:04:39]:
You will continue to lose. Stop comparing yourself to your neighbors, your aunts, your friends, your people you see on, you know, TikTok. Stop looking at those people. Just focus on your race, focus on your journey, focus on the walk with the Lord and you will win. Like it's a proven. It's proven. Like it's proven like you, you. The scripture says those that meditate on the Lord day and night will be successful.

Edna Harding [00:05:06]:
That's a promise from God. Okay? So if you're not spending time in the Word, if you're not seeking God for direction and asking the Holy Spirit what to do you will continue to lose. If you keep looking at this person's journey and that person's journey, what this person's doing and this person's doing. Yeah. You will continue to lose. Okay. This is not something that you play around with. If you want to win, you have to do things differently.

Edna Harding [00:05:33]:
Okay? The old must die. Again. Let me say that again. The thing that brought you here to this very moment, to this very point, as you're listening to this episode, that has to die. You cannot bring that into the new. So today we're going to talk about resurrection. And you're probably wondering, like, what resurrection, what does that have to do with the new thing? Well, it has everything to do with the new thing. Okay, so let me just start off by reading Second Kings, chapter 4, 32, 34.

Edna Harding [00:06:06]:
It says, and when Elisha had come into the house, behold, the young man was dead, laid upon his bed. He went in, therefore, and shut the door upon them both and prayed to the Lord. And he went up and laid upon the young man and put his mouth upon his mouth and his eyes upon his eyes, and his hands upon his hands, and he stretched himself upon the young man, and the flesh of the young man waxed warm. So. So imagine this. This young man was dead, completely dead. Then Elisha came upon this man, eye to eye, nose to nose, mouth to mouth. I mean, how awkward is that? Like a grown man over a young man and just laying on top of him.

Edna Harding [00:06:49]:
And then what he did was, it says, the young man and flesh of the young man waxed warm. Then he returned, walked to and fro in the house, and went up and stretched himself upon him. And the young man sneezed seven times. Then the young man opened his eyes and he called Gehazi and said, call this Shunammite. So he called her, and when she came into him, he said, take up your son. Then she went in and fell at his feet and bowed herself to the ground and took up her son and went out. So this is about. If you guys don't remember, this is a lady that took in Elisha, made a home for him, for him to stay.

Edna Harding [00:07:20]:
Okay, so to me, Elisha represents the prophetic, the prophecy. Okay, so Elisha gives a word to this woman. Then the prophet, the. The witches said she was going to have a son. And then years later, she has a son, but then she's dead. So the point is, a lot of you right now may be in that state or in that place in your life where God gave you a promise. And that promise is dead in front of you. That promise is like, you're like, what happened? Like, I thought this was guaranteed.

Edna Harding [00:07:57]:
I thought this was dead. I thought, blah, blah, blah. Like, what is happening? Have any of you guys been there? Yeah, I've been there. I've been there so many times. And the thing about God is I love his, like, I don't know, like, the way he does things is so different, so unique. I. I mean, it's just crazy because even the other day I was reading Leviticus. Did you know semen is the word? Semen is in the Bible? Yeah, in Leviticus.

Edna Harding [00:08:25]:
Okay. And I was like, what? This is so crazy because it's like, to me, it's like, wow. Every part of a person, including that aspect for a man, is in the frickin. Sorry, Lord. Sorry, I didn't mean to say that word. But I'm just like shocked because I'm like, I was so shocked at the. How real God is, right? So I'm saying all this to say that in the scriptures, you know, God speaks to his children through these scriptures, right? This isn't just stories. This is like.

Edna Harding [00:08:54]:
This is like real life application to your currently life right now. And I'm laughing and I'm smiling because I know at the end, like, what's going to happen right at the end, based on this scripture, we know that that young man is going to live. So a lot of us may be in that state where we kind of like lost hope. Like, we gave up. We think everything is dead. We think that, okay, things are too difficult now. There's no turning back. It's over.

Edna Harding [00:09:20]:
It's done, my friends. It's not done. Okay? I don't care how many years you've waited. I don't care how much money you wasted. I don't care how many relationships have left. I don't care if the business seems like it's in the red and that you're about to shut down. It does not matter to God. It doesn't.

Edna Harding [00:09:39]:
There is absolutely nothing, impossible for God. Nothing. Now, I want to. I want. I want to go back to the original thing that I mentioned. What about resurrection? I'm not talking just about this young man's resurrection. I'm talking about Jesus resurrect. And I pray that this is going to bless you today.

Edna Harding [00:10:00]:
So I want you guys to really focus on when Jesus resurrects from the Bible. You know, Jesus went from the Bible, from. From the throne, from the tomb. I'm sorry, guys. I'm reading. I'm like reading my notes here, Jesus didn't come out of the grave the same way he went in, right? So he came in as a human body. When he came out, it was a glorious body. It was a glorified body.

Edna Harding [00:10:25]:
It was a resurrected body. Okay? The resurrection, hear me, was not a return back to an original state. The resurrection was a transformation. So it went from dead to new, old to new, right? So a lot of times when the Lord restores, when the Lord revives, when he vindicates, it's always going to be new. It's not going to be like how it was back then. It's a new thing. And this is what's happening with the body of Christ is we're not perceiving that the. We're already resurrected because we're looking for the old thing.

Edna Harding [00:11:05]:
Am I preaching to anybody? The wine cannot. The wine has to go into new wineskin, not old wineskins, because it cannot handle the new wine. When Jesus comes upon your life. Thank you, Holy Spirit. When the Holy Spirit comes upon your life, it's a new. You're a new creation. Behold, all things are new, which means the old mentalities, the old mindsets, the old belief systems that got you to that particular place when you died, that cannot serve you in the new that you're in. Okay? So, because when it says in the scriptures, it talks about we were resurrected in him, it means that the old identity has no authority anymore.

Edna Harding [00:11:46]:
Okay? The old identity, who you were back then, when God resurrects you, it won't be able to handle the new. All right? It's kind of like. Just think of it like an upgrade, right? So you know, when you have a cell phone, when you have your. When your system, when your cell phone, you have the old cell phone, it cannot function when there's an upgrade, because in order for you to. To. To do all the features and benefits of the upgrade, you have to be a completely new phone. You have to upgrade your phone, too. Okay? So in the Spirit, when the Spirit promotes you, when the spirit is accelerating, you have to upgrade your system.

Edna Harding [00:12:24]:
You have to upgrade. Upgrade the vessel, which is you. You cannot be the old vessel. You have to be a new vessel to carry the glory that the Lord is releasing this hour. I hope this is not too deep for you and I hope you guys are following. And if it is too deep for you, I challenge you to go join my group, Business Unlimited, because we talk about stuff like this all the time, okay? But I hope you are hearing me when I'm telling you that the reason why things aren't working well is because you're trying to do the new thing. Yes, you are in the new God. Especially when you have surrendered your life to Jesus Christ and you have asked the Holy Spirit to intervene in your situation.

Edna Harding [00:13:08]:
When he resurrects you and you don't even know you're resurrected, it's because you are still operating in the old. You cannot produce the new with the old self prior to him resurrecting you. Okay, because in the scriptures it says, you know, when Jesus, when we're resurrected in him, it doesn't mean we are improved. It didn't say we're repaired. It says old things have passed away. Behold, all things are new. Which means every thought pattern, every belief system, every lie, those relationships that we had, like those things are no longer relevant in this particular season in our lives. And if you're wondering why you're not seeing the resurrection or feeling the resurrection and natural, it could be because you're still looking for the old thing.

Edna Harding [00:14:02]:
I hope this is making sense to you all. Okay, so this is normal. This is normal, by the way, across humanity. Because according to normal standards, right, you have to earn your worth. You can't rest. You're behind. This is just who I am. I have to stay strong.

Edna Harding [00:14:23]:
I have to, like, fake it to make it right. All these different terminology that you hear Christians and unbelievers use. Okay, but I want you to know that those identities didn't come from rebellion, didn't come because you want to disobey a God. It has a lot to do with the Survivor mentality. We've survived a traumatic season, so in our minds, we're just like, trying to just make it versus realizing that that season is already done. Jesus already flipped the tables for you. It's a clean slate. And the reason why a lot of people are struggling right now is because we are not operating from a clean slate.

Edna Harding [00:15:04]:
We are operating, carrying, like, a bunch of baggage with us into the new land versus when the Scripture talked. Thank you, Holy Spirit. When Jesus told the disciples, go, I'm sending you, he said, don't bring anything. Just your feet or just your shoes, I think no knapsack, no nothing. Don't worry about money, don't worry about provision. Hello. Don't worry about any of that. I'm sending you.

Edna Harding [00:15:28]:
Go. So many of you guys. God gave you a green light to do something for his kingdom, do something for his glory, do something for his family, and you're feeling like you're stuck. You feel like you are caught. Like you don't have any. You don't have any authority, you don't have any power. You feel like you're chained when in reality those things are. No, you're the reason that.

Edna Harding [00:15:48]:
Yes, thank you, Holy Spirit. Those things are chained. But that's the old self. The new self is free. And free indeed. Because where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom, there is healing, there is deliverance, there is wholeness. You don't have to earn it. You just got to receive it.

Edna Harding [00:16:05]:
You got to believe it. You just got to walk into it. It's all by grace, through faith. It is not of ourselves. It is a gift from God. We do not have to earn God's gifts. Okay? Yes, he rewards the faithful. Yes, he increases and multiplies.

Edna Harding [00:16:24]:
But that is not why we do things. We do things out of our love for the Father. We do things because we want to be like Jesus Christ. We do things because we don't want to grieve the Holy Spirit. It's not to earn bonus points or rewards in the system so that we could get even more blessed. Okay? A lot of believers think it's like a game, right? You do this, you get this reward, you get this point, some kudos from the Father. When in reality, everything we do is just a sacrifice to the Lord, everything we do should be just to give glory to his name. Like when you change the mentality from striving and just receiving God's grace to finish what he already said you can finish, things will get a lot easier.

Edna Harding [00:17:07]:
And the angels will help you. The Holy Spirit will help you. You have people that will help you with the vision that God gave you. If you just relinquish control, let go of the old things and embrace the new things. Okay? And the only way for you to know the new things again is through time with the Lord. Okay? Jesus doesn't resurrect coping mechanisms. He resurrects sons and daughters. Okay? So the way you coped back then is not going to work now.

Edna Harding [00:17:41]:
So, for example, let me give you an example. So, you know, in the past, I would just, you know, read a few scriptures and then, you know, do my journals and things like that. And as I matured with the Lord, that was no longer sufficient because he was maturing me. And so now if I don't take the time, like, for example, I could be reading the Scriptures and. But if I'm not learning anything, if nothing is sticking out to me, if I feel like I'm not there's I'm not growing spiritually. I stay in the word until something pops up, until something inside my spirit says, oh, I didn't know that that's something new. Because I didn't, I didn't want to live a stagnant spiritual life. I wanted to live a spiritual life that was always increasing from day to day and glory to glory.

Edna Harding [00:18:29]:
So my point is, if we, you are, if you are kind of coasting your spiritual walk, you're kind of coasting your normal life. Because everything starts in the spirit before it comes in the natural. So if you're not seeing changes in your life, it could be that you're still coasting in the spirit. If you want to accelerate in the natural, you have to accelerate in the spirit first. Which is why I always say identity first. Identity first. People want success, people want influence, people want this and that. And yes, the world can give you that.

Edna Harding [00:19:04]:
But I'm talking about the kind of success that the Lord talks about in the Word of God. The kind of success that only God can give from his hand, where the Lord Jesus, all he has to do is command the thing and the blessing overtakes you. I'm talking about blessing overtaking you. Whereas you, like, there's good news, good news, good news, good news, winning, winning, winning, winning. All of that stuff that comes from following the path God gave you after you surrendered your life to Jesus, after you rededicated your life to Jesus, after you asked the Holy Spirit to intervene and teach you whichever, that route. Because I understand my audience is different. You have people who've never heard of the Lord Jesus. You have people who've been walking with the Lord Jesus for a long time.

Edna Harding [00:19:48]:
But the point is, you cannot. Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again, expecting a different result. You heard that? That's not something new. But it's the same thing in the spirit. Okay, you cannot especially thank you, Holy Spirit. Like right now, the old thinking, the old church, limited mindset, those type of things, the, the, the whole religious, let's just praise God. Let's fast, let's worship, let's sow, let's do this. Like, that's not going to work.

Edna Harding [00:20:15]:
That's old revelation. New revelation is less, is more. He can give you one word and it will change your life like that in an instant. He is moving swiftly. Lastly, huge, big, big ways. But it's from simple instruction, a whisper from him. And you know what's so funny? You won't hear a whisper if you're all the way on the other side of the room. In order for you to hear a whisper, you have to be so close to that person.

Edna Harding [00:20:43]:
So close to that person. I'm going to ask you, how close are you to the Holy Spirit? How close are you with Jesus? How close are you to the Father? Because if you won't be able to hear the whisper, the little instruction, the hello, hi, how are you? Because you're looking for the thunder, come on. You're looking for the rain. You're looking for the big noise, the big audible voice saying, I am God. You're never going to operate in the new thing. You're never going to experience the glory of God. Because the glory of God requires a certain vessel. And it's a vessel that's completely surrendered to him.

Edna Harding [00:21:21]:
Completely surrendered to the ways of God. Completely surrendered to whatever he's doing. If he tells you one day, do this the next day, do this the next day, do completely something different the next day, that's how flex. We have to be nimble. Like Gumby. I remember I used to go to this other church in Colorado Springs and the guy, the prayer team leader would say, you have to be Gumby. Like, you have to be flexible. Okay? We can't be rigid minded.

Edna Harding [00:21:47]:
And for me, such a control freak, I want to have everything planned out. But guess what the Holy Spirit's been doing since January 1st? He's been like, changing my schedule, shifting things, focus on this, buy this, buy that, do this, do that. Like, he's like changing everything around to the point where I have to like, really be close to him for me to understand where exactly he's leading me into so that I don't go my own way. And you know what's so funny? The little things a little, shift a little. If he tells me, buy this, and then this blessing comes, it's weird. It's like a. It's like one little key thing opens up bigger doors and then that, that key opens up another door. Do you see what I'm saying? It's not same old, same old.

Edna Harding [00:22:30]:
And I'm. This is a warning for the body of Christ right now. You will be left behind. I'm not talking about, like, physically, like Jesus coming back. I'm talking about left behind. As far as what God wants to do through you, if you do not embrace the new, where God is taking you, and the way you embrace the new is if you let go of the old, let it go, let it go. In fact, if you don't know what the old is, just be like, okay, God, I want to take the next three days. I'm going to fast and pray and I'm going to ask you for, tell me what to get rid of.

Edna Harding [00:23:01]:
Tell me who I am now. Tell me who needs to go. Tell me, tell me, tell me, tell me. Stop playing patty cake with, with your life. You have a choice, you have an option to be part of the glory that's being released right now, this very second. If you just open your eyes, you will see the goodness of God. You will see like, whoa, God is moving. Just look at the nations, guys.

Edna Harding [00:23:26]:
Look at the earthquakes. Look at the famine in the land. Look at all the things that are going on in the world. These are great times. You're like, what, Edna? How can these be great times if there's rumors of war and this and this and that. That means the sons and daughters are rising because all those things that we're seeing are groans of the earth waiting for the sons and daughters step into the position that God called them to be. It's a beautiful time. I don't care what the news look like.

Edna Harding [00:23:54]:
I don't care what they're saying. With the, with the economy, I don't care how you feel is I've been. Lord, I don't even know how like God, it's like, it's like God gave me that extra win. Like I've been running every day. Like running every day. Like not even like so sweating. Two and a half, three miles in 20, 30 minutes. Easy, easy peasy, easy peasy.

Edna Harding [00:24:16]:
I'm not even taking any of those energy drink. I'm just drinking. You know, normally I would take like some sort of work energy workout drink or something and had all these supplements and the Lord told me slim it down, just take a few things. Argan oil is one, one thing that I take. I take the probiotics, you know, the do the enzymes, things like that. And then just a couple of things for women wellness. But. And the oils, the cod liver oil.

Edna Harding [00:24:40]:
What was the other thing? Different things, but it wasn't like I had before. I had like a bunch of supplements that apparently my body could not handle. My body was not met. Thank you, Jesus. You're speaking now. Okay, and this is what's happening. We're putting all these things. Okay, let me get a little bit of that, a little bit of this, a little bit of that, a little bit of this.

Edna Harding [00:25:00]:
And we're filling ourselves up with so many things, things that we have to do, do, do, do. Many other lords, like less is more. Simplify your Life. You're making it too complicated. I don't want you to be like a workhorse. I want you to enjoy the fruits of your labor. I want to enjoy the journey with me. I want you to spend time with me and love just being in my presence because you have nothing to worry about.

Edna Harding [00:25:23]:
Are any of you guys wanting that? I pray that you do, because that's what I want each and every day of, for the rest of my life. And I have a lot of. I've had a lot of moments of those recently within the past year and a half or so. It's a beautiful thing. It's a beautiful place to be where you don't have to worry about anything except just focus on the Lord. Focus on what he wants to share with you. He wants to share his secrets with you. He wants you to see things from his eyes and to look at your situation from his lens and just believe and know and trust that he has you, no matter what it looks like on the outside.

Edna Harding [00:25:59]:
Remember, my friends, that the old identity worked for a season. So it's not saying that old identity is bad. It's just that season has shifted. A season is done. You're no longer that. You're now this brand new from glory to glory. And it is just. This is not like a new year talk.

Edna Harding [00:26:15]:
This is truly what's happening in the spirit. If you have not discerned it yet, the Lord has moved. It's like, you know how there's a scripture, right? It says you follow the cloud or you follow the fire. The cloud by day and fire by night. That's what's happening. A lot of you guys are still camping out in the old place when the Lord is no longer there. The Holy Spirit has already moved to the new place. Okay.

Edna Harding [00:26:40]:
The old identity kept us safe for a reason. It's like a protection, Right? Maybe it helped us be seen or even needed. Right. And maybe letting go of that old self may feel risky. I know because even with myself, you know, I have gone through many identities, actually. A lot of different identities, different chapters. And so funny because you know how you have like the teacher, the. The pastor.

Edna Harding [00:27:07]:
I think the pastor, the apostle, the prophet. I forgot what the thumb is. I forgot. But the. Oh, my gosh, what was it called? The. The fivefold ministry. My brain's going blank. And is it intercessor? Maybe it's intercessor.

Edna Harding [00:27:19]:
I don't remember from the top of my head, but I have gone through a lot, pretty much, you know, the different gifts of the Bible, the Gifts that the word that Jesus gives. And there's gifts of the Holy Spirit. I've gone through, I would say almost every single one of them. I've gone through, like, being a teacher. I've gone through being an intercessor. I've gone through being a prophet, as you all know I have. The Lord has been giving me, giving me prophetic words and I've been an apostle, creating governance and things like that. Teacher, pastor, priest, king, all that stuff.

Edna Harding [00:27:47]:
And it's funny because, like, I. I just flowed. I just, you know, it wasn't something I asked for. It was just at that moment, at that time, I had to have a different hat. You know, like, I wear this hat this season. This hat in this season. A mother at this season. A spiritual mother at this season.

Edna Harding [00:28:05]:
Right? A warrior at a season. I was a warrior. And I say all this to say, like, I don't know what season you're in, but God does. And I promise you, if you just take the time to ask the Holy Spirit, what gifts, what do I need from you in this hour so that you're not. Thank you, Holy Spirit, you're not trying to be a prophet of this, a dad of this, and that. You're carrying all these different identities. That, that's why your, your season isn't shifted, because you're, like, bringing all these different identities that is not relevant to you right now in this very moment, when the Lord is like, just pick one. This is what I need.

Edna Harding [00:28:39]:
This is the, the anointing. This is the gift that I need you to operate in, in this season. And you're going to see fruits and right. Resurrection doesn't ask, did it work? It asks, is it still alive? Silence is okay. And sometimes we need to step away from the noise and just be quiet so we could hear the whisper of God. Because a resurrected life looks like peace replacing pressure, permission replacing guilt, alignment replacing striving, encourage replacing fear. These are common fruits that the Lord uses every single time. And if we allow him to speak to you, if you allow the Holy Spirit to just minister to you right now and just be quiet and just receive from him, you are going to get the answer and the clarity you're looking for.

Edna Harding [00:29:28]:
I want you to ask a question to yourself. And that is, what am I still carrying that Jesus already buried? So for me, for example, because I helped struggling businesses for a very long time, a very long time, I would carry the burden of their journey in my heart and I would fight for their destiny more than they were fighting for theirs, And I would be grieving for their destiny more than they were grieving for themselves. So I was, like, taking ownership of them, finishing their race, when in reality that's a choice they have to make. So I was carrying burdens that only Jesus was meant to carry. So that was an identity that I had to let go. I had to let go of this, hey, like, enabling type of, like, mentality. What's that word when you. When.

Edna Harding [00:30:21]:
Basically the one thing I'm saying is I'm trying to be Jesus to them, and I am not Jesus. They have to carry their own load sometimes. Or they give it to Jesus, but they don't give it to Edna. They have to give it to Jesus, not Edna. Does that make sense? All right, my friends. Well, I hope this blessed you. I think I covered everything I wanted to do, but I just wanted to let you know that the old way has ended. The old way has ended.

Edna Harding [00:30:45]:
It's safe to let it go. Because remember, my friends, Jesus already handled the grave. And if, remember there's a scripture where I think it was Mary went into the tomb and Mary said. And the angel said, don't go there. He's no longer there. He is risen. Don't go into the tomb because those. Those old dreams and all those things, they risen, meaning it's no longer dead.

Edna Harding [00:31:08]:
It's even better than what it was before. So whatever you thought those big dreams are, those. Those big visions, the things that God put in your heart, times that by a thousand. That's how much God loves you and that's how much God wants to use you this hour. If you just learn to surrender and allow him to make you brand new by his spirit. Well, hope that blessed you and I hope to see you guys next time. Until next time, keep shining. Take care.
