Welcome to our podcast. Today, we delve into the fourth portion of Azos Habroca, chapter 33. Moses, in his infinite wisdom, bestows blessings upon the twelve tribes, notably Zvulan and Omar, and the tribe of Zvun. This act signifies the enduring symbiosis between those who immerse themselves in the study of Torah and those who offer their support to them.
Moving on, we touch on the 19 Amim harikro, a call to the people of the mountain to draw from the richness of the seas. As Rashi interprets this, the nation states of the twelve tribes are to transition to Israel, especially during times of leap years and leap months.
Consider the interaction between the Japanese businessman and his Jewish business associate. The former, curious about the Holy Ark, asks his associate about its purpose. The associate explains that the Torah is taken out of the Ark and placed onto the bema, a practice that is a part of the fundraising tradition.
Lastly, we remember the times before the Six Day War, when the Rebbe initiated the public fill in campaign. The essence of this campaign was unity and strength. When a Jew puts on film anywhere in the world or with another Jew, it instills fear in those who harbor ill-will towards the Jewish community. Unfortunately, we see today how Gaza has transformed into a base for terror.
