Speaker 1:

Hey. It's G. H. Edwards again. Hey.

Speaker 1:

I'm just gonna hit again that I am what I consider to be a Midwest conservative, I guess you could say. Part of that mentality of being in the Midwest is about nature in general. So in the Midwest, there's the mindset is kind of built in there that nature and the weather and we could call it crop production, whatever, is it's the lifeblood of the area. So along with that, we, in general, have to care about nature, our plot, our land, whatever. Let's put let's just put ourselves as a farmer.

Speaker 1:

You care how weather is. You care about the rain. You care about chemicals. You care about nature in general. And somehow, caring about nature and caring about not polluting has become controversial that they've become a radical liberal idea which is odd.

Speaker 1:

We all can agree, I think, that nature is pretty awesome, and and it's very important to us. Now is this a jump on to the climate change bandwagon? I'm not gonna go that way. What I'm gonna say is that, can we all agree on a few things? Can we agree that weather seems to have gotten a little bit crazy from the last few years?

Speaker 1:

Now is that climate change? Is that the warming? Is that the cooling? Is that the whatever? I'm not a climatologist.

Speaker 1:

I'm not climate scientists. I can read what they said and form my own opinion. But the main thing I'm saying is that we can agree that weather has been a little bit wild. I mean, we've had some massive, massive weather disruptions. So maybe we should take a look at what's causing that.

Speaker 1:

If I say that I'm pro climate change, suddenly everyone's or pro climate change. I'm a believer in climate change. That someone thinks that you're this hardcore liberal. But once again, that's tiny little one foot in front of your self thinking. What I really am is a Midwesterner and a a capitalist and seeing that, man, we are I think we're doing something.

Speaker 1:

Something's going on with weather. Is God really mad at us and changing the weather? I don't really know. But what I'm really trying to say is that we all kind of used to agree that weather was important. Remember back in the nineties when we had that hole in the ozone layer?

Speaker 1:

We all came together, left wing, right wing, democrats, republicans, they all came together and we solved that problem. And we're like, yeah, we're awesome. And we had Newt Gingrich sitting on a couch talking about how, you know, weather and some of that. And we all got together and we saw a problem and we fixed it now. If if the scientists were to come out right now and say there's a hole in the ozone layer and we never heard of it, and it's this spray from these cans or CFCs or whatever it is, We would probably call them radical liberals and, you know, we'd laugh them off the planet or whatever and they would cook.

Speaker 1:

We used to all care about the planet. I mean, I grew up in an elementary school where you I hated pollution. Litter, don't pollute. No. How did this become a radical idea that we that not wanting to pour chemicals and garbage into our water and into our soil and silver into the clouds and when did we decide that it was okay to do all this stuff?

Speaker 1:

I thought we were all on the same page. But once again, they found another topic that they can divide us on. Let's not let this happen anymore. Let's all come together and say, agree that earth and environmental or whatever you wanna call it is important. Weather seems to be going a little bit crazy recently, and let's stop junking our planet.

Speaker 1:

We've only got one of them. And I know where a lot of us are trying to get off the planet, but in the meantime, let's try to make this place somewhat decent and viable so that we can continue to have a good lifestyle.
