That clip you just heard was Mr. President Donald Trump name-calling a Bloomberg reporter.
Welcome to Headline Files.
Aboard Air Force One, a press gaggle turned sharply confrontational when a reporter asked Trump about the Epstein files — documents related to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
The reporter in question, Catherine Lucey, a correspondent for Bloomberg News, began by asking why Trump was resisting release of the files, given public scrutiny.
According to multiple news reports, as Lucey began a follow-up — “Sir, if there’s nothing incriminating in the files…” — Trump interrupted her mid-question. The video shows him turning toward the reporter, a finger raised, and saying: “Quiet. Quiet, piggy.” Then he moved on to take another question.
That’s it for this break-in report on the Epstein-files controversy and the “Piggy” comment and THIS has been Headline Files.
