The other news was the central bank’s monthly bond-buying will proceed at just $30 billion in February, indicating an end of that program also in March.

Last weekend’s NFL playoffs had some thrilling games and monster ratings, averaging 37 million viewers—a 21% increase. The Bills/Chiefs game pulled nearly 43 million, Rams-Buccaneers had 38 million, Packers/9’ers almost 37 million and Bengals/Titans came in just over 30 million.
