Genecia Alluora: In today's episode, I want to talk about one simple daily action that will change your relationship with money forever. Are you ready? I've got some big soul searching questions for you today. Do you feel like you never have enough money? Do you have no idea how much you make or spend? At the end of the month, do you wonder why you have not hit your financial goals again? Answering these questions can feel pretty devastating or feel lousy for you. However, fear not. I've actually got some great news for you. There's a very. Simple not scary, daily habit that has completely changed my relationship with money.

Genecia Alluora: Not mine, but thousands of entrepreneurs and women, soul rich woman in my soul rich woman community. Almost every day, someone will share with me over an email or a message will pop up in my Message that says, Genecia, I didn't believe in you, but I did it and you are right. I usually answer, yes, of course. I'm a soul rich woman. I've been there done that. We are always right. So what's the one daily habit? Are you ready? The life changing habit. Is. Drum rolls, tracking your money. And I literally mean every single cent that comes into your life, every single dollar that comes in your life, every single cent single part that comes into your life.

Genecia Alluora: Yes, wait. Where are you going? Don't turn off the podcast. Don't turn the episode off. Don't switch off. Don't walk away. I can hear you saying, Huh? I did that before. I tried to try it. It didn't work for me. Tracking is so boring. I hate accountant, Genecia. I hate counting money. I am already so busy with life in my business. I hate counting money. I hate looking at my receipts. I hate it. I hate it. All right, I hear you. Okay, breathe, breathe, breathe. I have people who do that for me, Genecia. Okay, breathe. So hold up. Now, this isn't just doing more accounting. You should totally outsource that stuff so you can focus on making money and you don't want to be organizing it. And that's for someone else to sort out.

Genecia Alluora: Now, daily tracking is altogether a different process altogether. It's not your usual budgeting or counting your money. It's not. It's about mindfully tracking what comes into your life. Now, accounting is based on facts. While money tracking is like accepting the universe, giving you the money energetically. As e as like energy exchange. It's like realizing there is energy in every single thing that we have and we do. So in the manifesting sense is focus on gratitude, awareness and increase in abundance. And even if you've tried it before, try again. Try it every day for a single month. For a month and then let me know. I will get my emails and my message inbox ready for you.

Genecia Alluora: How does tracking your money change your abundance mindset, Genecia? So you may ask me now humans are great at making bullshit stories and I say that to be true because I've been there, done that. We tend to make up stories about our ability and most important of all, our deservingness. Our deservingness to earn more money. You might be even telling yourself like money stories like I'm broke, Genecia. There's literally no money coming in. Nobody is buying my stuff. I guess I'm not cut up for being in business. I launched my online program there's nothing but crickets and cockroaches. Okay? And I launched my skincare business. No customers is buying my things because it's just too many skincare out there. Yes, go on. Yes, I'm listening. Any more excuses? Yes.

Genecia Alluora: Now, the universe doesn't like me. I'm not lucky like you, Genecia. Okay? You hear that tracking your money every day keeps you mindful of what's actually going on in your life and it helps you to appreciate the abundance that's around you and sometimes gets your butt into gear to make more money. Best of all, it stops you from feeling better about money and making up stories about your ability to earn. So how do you track your money to boost your money mindset? When you track your income and using this trend test a formula that I practice every single day. You will notice the increased awareness around your finances and being a more positive person. And in fact, this reinforcement allows a more positive behavior towards your money energy.

Genecia Alluora: Plus the way we are going to do it enhances one of the most powerful emotions for manifesting gratitude. And when you feel good about your money, you generally start attracting more of it. Do you notice that it often works in reverse too? When you feel like shit and crap about your money, you sometimes manifest unexpected bills, fines and debts. Sometimes you even manifest people into your life to hurt you or take the money away from you. In my experience, you start tracking and then suddenly you're finding money everywhere. How? Why is this magic Genecia? Well, no, it's like anything. It's like activating our brain's reticular activating system (RAS).

Genecia Alluora: You train your brain to look for it. It's like a tower at sea, right? It's like a torch light. And when you fall in love with a particular car and then you see them everywhere. Just like when I say it. Can you imagine an elephant in the yellow polka dot bikini? Do you see an elephant now? Well, it's called selection biasness. It's a well researched phenomenon. Make it work in your favor by training your brain to look for opportunities to find and make more money. How do I track money? Now, there are many ways in my approach that you might not have used before in my soud rich woman training and in my books, I talk about tracking two different things. For example, track cash. All of it. So in your normal accounting process, you will track your business and personal income separately. When it comes to tracking money for manifesting purposes, you actually combine them. Why?

Genecia Alluora: Because many women and entrepreneurs have actually hit their financial goals even without realizing it. Yes, it might have come from different sources that you wanted to, but money is still money. You are getting pissed and angry, frustrated, angst at the universe for not helping you. And the universe is like, hello, you've already done it and you're just blind. The universe doesn't care about the source. You might be miscalculating your true abundance by compartmentalizing your money and miss overlooking it even. Have you ever even thought about the following? Number one. It counts only if it's earned from something I like doing.

Genecia Alluora: Number two, my job income doesn't count because I really wanted to be an entrepreneur. Number three, mine is only a hobby business. My partner earns the real money. Number four, I didn't hear my goal, so what's the point? Number five, yeah, I had a pretty good month, but it was just luck. Number six, that client project payment was way too easy. I didn't really earn it. Number seven, if a client gives me cash, that is not real business income. Number eight, my business income doesn't count because it's only a small amount, barely worth counting. Number nine, PayPal isn't money isn't real. Number nine, my parents gave me their money. It doesn't really belong to me. I inherited the money.

Genecia Alluora: If you're just counting money from only one source, and it's not a true depiction of your full abundance, right? I want you to track all the money. All the income, all the cash, every single coin you find on the street, every source of job income, every monetary gift, interest free money, easy money, cash money, PayPal money. Any single money. Even sponsorship if you're an influencer, okay? Or even TikTok shop if you're in the US. Wherever you are, TikTok Shop pays you. Or maybe YouTube shops pays you the money. Money is the money. You don't have to be super 100% accurate. It's not an accounting exercise. Remember, you won't be using these for tax purposes. It's just for manifesting purposes.

Genecia Alluora: And I promise you this practice will change your life. So then the question is Genecia, then how often should I track my money? So the question is to you how often you should track your money? Do it daily because it's very easy to get out of habit and forget. I usually do mine a couple of times a single day on my app and on my phone or my Google document. All right? So you can actually just record the expenses and also your income that's coming in as well. So do it. What if no money is coming in right now for you? Well, don't think that this exercise doesn't apply to you. First and foremost, it might be just coming in and you're not counting it. Or second, you're feeling broke. And it's just a feeling, it's not real. And instead of focusing on abundance and gratitude, and we know from the law of attraction that the more of what you already have is that the law of attraction will bring for you. So if you feel broke, it's hard to get out of the mindset.

Genecia Alluora: All of your reality tells you the same thing. You might stay in denial, stop opening your bills, or feel powerless about your financial situation. So you will act in ways that don't serve you. Agree? You don't have the forward motion to create a positive action. And that doesn't mean become a yahya papaya or what we call a diva. But you do have something about your mindset, because how else are you going to have the energy, the motivation and self belief to manifest more money? When you go days go on days without tracking any money, then you can use it as a wake up call to get into action. Look for easy actions to take. Send out invoices, create a sale, send an email to a prospective client, sell something, or apply for some part time work, for example.

Genecia Alluora: And remember, stubbornness doesn't get you anywhere. Yes, being stubborn doesn't get you anywhere is to be open minded to receive that it's going to get us to the next level of abundance. So tracking your money and working on your mindset is free. So what have you got to lose? Now, this brings me to the next part of tracking, which is number two, track anything of value. Now, every time you get something free, you need to track it on your Value column. Like, for example, on TikTok shop. Now we get free sponsorships. You will get free samples for you to do the videos, or to create something on your live stream. For example, even on Amazon, right? Sponsors send you stuff and you need to sell it, certain things like that. If you get things for free and you get to keep them track it. Don't count and uncount all these things.

Genecia Alluora: So another example will be your friend buys your coffee, and at the cost of that into your Value column, you've got an unexpected discount on something you're already buying. Add it into your Value column. If you get something for free, add it in. So why is tracking that value so important? This value is very, very good. Because people are very good at manefisting. In fact a lot entreprenuers are. We are very good at attracting what we need and when we need it. However, it's always at the last minute moment. But yet, for a lot of you, and eventually for a lot of entrepreneurs, they don't actually manifest actual money. Get what I mean? You are very good at manifesting, but money is not the usual outcome.

Genecia Alluora: It's usually manifesting stuff, not like really money money. So what does this mean? It means that you have a massive block, okay? So where the universe would takes care of them, but without the need for money to go through their hands at all. So I used to be like this. I can manifest a lot of sponsorships, but I hardly earn any money. So when you track your value as well as cash, it serves two purpose, Gratitude and Reality Check. The gratitude part is when you're feeling broke about not having actual cash, it can let you feel gratitude for the fact that you're still able to create abundance and people still give you stuff, right? It makes you feel you're very lucky and you're taken care of. Reality Check part of it is that if you are regularly attracting more value than money, then you need to check in because then you have massive blocks.

Genecia Alluora: It's time to shift your focus of manifesting. Are you spending more time on trying to win competitions or get free stuff rather than focusing on actual money making activities in your business and your life? Now, this Reality Check was a huge one for me before I went online, when I was still doing as an image consultant, I was manifesting a lot of people coming in to butter trade, a lot of people coming to me to ask me to do a lot of sponsorships. And I was doing really a lot. Once I realized that I was a superstar in manifesting and yet I didn't have actual cash in my bank account, you know what, I really had to take a long, hard look at my actions. Next question for you will be, are you actually ready for real money? Yeah.

Genecia Alluora: This is a real question. Are you ready for actual money? I used to be the Queen of Free. Other than becoming a Miss Singapore Universe in 2006, I mean, I am also the Queen of Free forever. I'll write stuff to people and I'll ask for sponsorships. I'll do stuff and get more and more sponsorships because I Miss Singapore. I just want to have people giving me the privilege, right? Instead of taking income producing activities in my business, I even did a ritual where I tell the universe, hey, I'm now grown up. Thanks for taking care of me. However, I'm ready to make some real cash now.

Genecia Alluora: And you know what? That was a game changer for me. And that was how I manifested the opportunity to go online, make my hundred thousand dollars in three months and a million dollars in a single year. And then I opened my cafe retail chain. We were in three countries, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, and we have 18 franchisees and licensees. And then after that, four years later, we exited to a public listed company owner. That's it. That was a game changer for me. So yeah, I'm not saying don't take free shit anymore. I mean, who doesn't like free food, free stuff, free gifts, free makeup, free cosmetics?

Genecia Alluora: I'm just saying that the intention and focus is incredibly important. Plus, I noticed that when I was getting free stuff, I just took what was given regardless of my own personal preference. After all, it was free. And nobody wants to be ungrateful. Well, Get what you are given was definitely one of my childhood mental money blocks when I was very young. Because when I started working when I'm 14 years old, I don't have a lot of things, right? So my mom always tell me, get what you are given. Whatever the people give you, just say thank you and just accept it. But you know what? How about you?
