Hello, guys. Welcome to another episode of Tea from the Galaxy, a thirst quenching podcast for the girls gaze days and astrology days where we talk about anything and everything through an astrological lens. So today, we have the January 2026 horoscope astrological horoscope. That sounds so weird to say 2026. Like, that don't even feel real.
Serena:What's 2026? It doesn't even flow off the tongue. That's how real it doesn't feel. But I can't believe it's 2026 already. 2025 flew by.
Serena:If you've been watching my past podcast videos, I've been saying this over and over again. I've been saying that 2025 was the sneaky peak year. We were seeing a lot of sneak peaks happening, a lot of the beginning phases of huge changes that we're feeling. 2025 was like watching the previews of the movie of what 2026 is going to be. 2026, I've been saying is going to be the beginning of a whole new society.
Serena:With Pluto being an Aquarius, we're already feeling the societal changes happening. 2026 is going to be when that is really the ball is really rolling on that. We're really going to see a lot of heavy hitters, a lot of heavy changes happening. There's a lot of heavy energy happening, in January. I think we're feeling it in the December as I'm recording this right now.
Serena:There's a lot of Capricorn energy happening during this Capricorn season. And then once it turns into Aquarius season later in the month, we have all those planets in Aquarius moving through Aquarius that have a meeting with Pluto and Aquarius at the beginning phases. So, that's that's intense. That's intense energy. And then right after we steamroll into eclipse season in February.
Serena:So, yeah. Wow. The the beginning of this year is definitely, like, growing pains. You know? Let's just get into it.
Serena:So to start off the month on the first, earlier in the day, Mercury and Sagittarius squares Neptune in Pisces at 29 degrees before Mercury moves into Capricorn later in the day. So we are feeling this vibe in the December. On the January is just when it goes exact, so it's when the energy is most potent, most intense. Mercury is the planet of communication and rules things of how we communicate with one another, how we social how we network with each other. It's the the messenger planet.
Serena:It is how we receive information, how we absorb information, how we give information that includes things like mail, emailing, texting, calling, podcasting, reading, classes, you know, gossiping. I always describe a mercury square Neptune aspect as it's giving similar energy as, like, as if it was a mercury retrograde. It is giving we're not understanding things clearly. We're not understanding people. We're not getting the right message across to people.
Serena:We're not understanding the message that we're trying to receive correctly. It's like there is a veil in front of our ears, in front of our eyes. We're trying to listen things to things with earplugs on. It's a bad game of telephone. That is what Mercury Square Neptune is like.
Serena:So I say this is not the best time to sign any contracts, to commit to anything. If we are committing to things right now, during the December, the January, it we could potentially regret it or be like, wait. I didn't know that's what I was signing up for. I didn't know what I was getting into. Definitely, if you have to sign any contracts, commit to anything, you know, life is life.
Serena:I would make sure that you are dotting all your i's and crossing all your t's and that possibly, you know, if it's a serious contract, make sure a lawyer is involved and is involved in really, you know, helping you sift through that. This is not the time to overlook things, especially with mercury being in Sagittarius. They are infamous for overlooking the small details. So this is even more of a bigger emphasis and even bigger caution of make sure you are reading the fine print. Not the best time to really commit to anything.
Serena:There's just a lot of question marks surrounding things at the beginning of the month. So, yeah, that is my biggest piece of advice. So but we're feeling this the last the last week of December too. I also would advise to be careful with drugs, drinking, going overboard, you know, a square to Neptune and Pisces. Pisces and Neptune both rule things of escapism, overindulging, and escaping through overindulging.
Serena:Yeah. I would definitely be careful, especially because it's New Year's Eve. It's the holidays, so I would be careful with a overindulging and partying. Later in the day, Mercury does move into Capricorn. Mercury in Sagittarius was very curious, much more extroverted, having to put yourself in more extroverted situations.
Serena:It is wanting to expand your mind, learn more about something, just really pushing the envelope and the boundaries of your mind. Mercury from Sagittarius moves into Capricorn. We're a little bit more disciplined, a little bit more organized, a little bit more reserved. Mercury in Sagittarius is a little bit all over the place. It's giving ADHD, is wanting to do a lot and putting a lot on your plate and accomplish a lot, but obviously not being able to accomplish it all.
Serena:It's over optimism, but then it can be flaky and irresponsible. But Mercury moving into Capricorn from January 1 until January 20, we are a little bit more disciplined in how we're thinking, feeling a little bit more reserved. I'm feeling that energy. I just got back from a get together with a couple friends, and the four of us are all on the same page of feeling burnt out from the holidays, from work, feeling a need to want to isolate. And as all the planets are in Capricorn and moving into Capricorn, I think that is going to be a vibe for the January, like a serious form of isolation, recharging your battery and putting boundaries down because you need to put yourself first and do what's best for you for the betterment of their success.
Serena:Right? So with Mercury moving into Capricorn, we're starting to think more about stability, what stabilizes us money. We could be thinking a lot more about money, thinking more about just serious things, serious topics, conversations or a little bit more serious. We could be wanting or receiving conversations from people that are older than us or people that we look up to our mind from Mercury and Sagittarius is way more fun and childlike. It reminds me of, like, 20 year old that takes a gap year to go travel the world, and then Mercury moves into Capricorn, and it's like they get back from their gap year of traveling the world, and they enter corporate America, you know, that that's, like, the vibe that it gives me from Mercury and Sagittarius to Mercury and Capricorn.
Serena:Just a little bit more serious, maybe a little bit more wanting to take time to yourself and not really socialize as much. So that will be until January 20. That's the vibe. On January 3, there is a full moon in Cancer happening at 13 degrees. So this full moon is a little dramatic, emotional, I should say.
Serena:The moon feels at home in Cancer. Oh, it's comfortable there. It feels like it can be emotional and vulnerable. And, you know, it's gonna be a very emotional full moon. Full moons already bring heightened emotion.
Serena:So when it's in Cancer, it feels like, yes. I could cry. I could I could feel emotional. This is the time where even if you're not a cryer, you could be crying. That's just what the moon in Cancer does, especially in Cancer, but of the cardinal signs as well.
Serena:Capricorn, Aries, Libra, if you have nine cardinal placements from nine degrees to 18 degrees, I would say you guys are feeling this full moon, the intensity of this full moon the most. A full moon is a culmination of events. So think of what was happening around the new moon in Cancer around six months prior. So in July 2025, what was started around that time or were themes that were happening around that time, things thoughts that were popping in your brain. During this full moon in Cancer, you could really start to see those things come into fruition, especially things surrounding what cancer rules, family, our living situation, home life, our sanctuary, our comfort, our comfort zone.
Serena:What brings us comfort, our inner child, children, our children, our future children, children that surrounds us, our family, our future family. I think it's also very interesting having a full moon in Cancer right after the holidays because I feel like that is fresh in our brains of everyone getting together with family. And then afterwards, we're reflecting on our family situation. Like, I want to connect more with family. I wanna be there for my more for my family, or I don't wanna connect more with my family.
Serena:I actually need to put more boundaries down with my family. This is what I have learned from how I grew up and what I don't want to bring into my future family. This is where I want to live. This is where I don't want to live. This is what I want my home life to look like.
Serena:This is what I don't want my home life to look like. A lot of reflection coming out of the holidays surrounding family traditions and our living situation. And, you know, it's fresh in our brains, and that's what a full moon of cancer is all about. The reflection of those things and realizing what you have to release surrounding those topics in order to start a new chapter moving forward, with those things surrounding cancer, but also depends where cancer rolls in your chart too as well. You can see those themes popping up in your life as well.
Serena:Like, if you have a cancer tenth house of career, it could be the relationship between releasing of a career because of a family dynamic situation that's happening currently. You know? A really a realization that she wants to be closer to family, so you're gonna quit a job. You know? So that's a Cancer tenth house.
Serena:That's if you have a Libra rising. But this full moon is, emotional, not just because it's a full moon in Cancer, but because there's a lot of heavy hitter aspects happening to it. Venus will be opposing this full moon. Mars will be opposing this full moon as well as the sun. Obviously, that's what makes it a full moon.
Serena:Just already, a moon Mars opposition is erratic emotions. I natively have a a moon Mars opposition in my chart, and this was definitely a life lesson for me, and it still is of controlling my emotions. It's giving zero one hundred. It's giving erratic. It's giving explosive emotions.
Serena:It's giving I'm either extremely angry or I'm extremely not doing anything about it. I'm either too aggressive or too passive. So this could be a theme under this full moon, so definitely watch out for aggressive energy, boy getting people or you getting to a boiling point and just completely exploding. I would say definitely be aware of heightened emotions under this full moon. This this full moon is, like, heightened emotions on steroids times 10.
Serena:It's almost giving, like, kind of, like, eclipse energy in that type of way with the heightened emotions of that. I think it's going to influence on people, especially because of that moon Mars opposition. It's really hard to balance emotions when there's a moon Mars opposition happening. And, you know, I I'm currently experiencing it myself. I I I I nay have a Mars in Cancer, and it's opposing the Mars in Capricorn currently.
Serena:And how I've been feeling is extremely burnt out. So, you know, Mars not only represents our, you know, aggression, but it represents our motivation. So it's been really hard for me to balance hustling and pouring into my cup and not being too lazy and not overworking myself. So that could also be a theme that you're we're realizing under this full moon in Cancer too. The full moon in Cancer definitely gives needing to find the balance between between your home life and family life and your work life and the responsibilities from your career and from your, you know, your living situation.
Serena:So I I definitely think that is in the spotlight heavy, heavy, your family responsibility and your and your career responsibility. And, also, I just feel like a lot of people are are really, like, thinking about where do I wanna live. I think that is a big theme that's coming up to coming up to a lot of people, especially if you have cardinal placements, Capricorn, Cancer, Aries, and Libra. I think a lot of people are like, where's my home? Moon of Venus opposition too definitely gives, especially under a full moon, gives shining a light on imbalances in relationships or financial situations because Venus rules money and love.
Serena:So full moons illuminate. So I think this full moon could definitely be illuminating a lot of imbalances that are happening in your life in regards to relationships, especially family relationships or relationships with women because cancer also rules those things as well, especially mother, people that you live with. So I think that is definitely going to be in the spotlight. Maybe financial situation, realizing that need to save more so you can live somewhere else. You need to save more so you can renovate.
Serena:On the sixth, the sun joins Venus and Capricorn at 16 degrees. If we wanna talk about how this full moon of cancer is illuminating problems or imbalances surrounding our living situation and relationships and financial situation as well. The sun conjunct Venus in Capricorn. The sun also illuminates. The sun brings a light to whatever planet it touches.
Serena:Anytime that Venus is in the sun's orbit, this is almost like a clean slate, a fresh start. So if there was a lot of realizations that you made under the full moon in Cancer on the third, A couple days later, it could be a really nice time to get a clean slate to start new, to start fresh, to maybe you made a lot of realizations and you're like, okay, now this is how I want to move forward, and this is what I want to do in terms of my relationships or my financial situation, Especially being in Capricorn too, I think a lot of people are thinking about money too in their financial situation. What brings them stability, security, and what do I need to do anew in order to reach my goals? You know, Capricorn is very goal oriented. It's very future oriented.
Serena:It's very money oriented. So especially with all these planets of Capricorn, the sun, Mercury, Venus, Mars, I think that is going to be a lot of what's on the collective's mind the first half of this month. We are fucking money and career and status and power oriented, And we need to make sure that we don't lean too much into that. It feels like there's going to be an imbalance the first half of this month, and definitely be aware of that. So don't let that cloud your judgment, but I will say around the sixth, it is a nice time to start anew in terms of relationships and and your financial situation.
Serena:On the next day, Venus conjoins Mars in Capricorn at 18 degrees. See, this is such a push and pull in energy. I mean, a sun conjunct Venus aspect is nice. Like, it brings very Venusian energy to the collective, like love and money. But I just feel like there's an imbalance.
Serena:Right? We're coming out of that full moon in cancer, that opposition to cancer. There's there's an obvious imbalance happening in the collective. And, you know, this Venus then touching Mars is kind of like, yeah. It's just sweet, but not but now I'm sour.
Serena:Like, you know, it's like a Sour Patch Kid, but in reverse. A Venus Mars opposition, I definitely caution of aggression in relationships. This gives fighting. This gives arguments. This gives disagreements, breakups in terms of relationships.
Serena:So maybe this could be the vibe. You know, this could be the vibe. You know, you want a clean slate. You wanna start a new, you made realizations the beginning of this month. And now you're like, okay.
Serena:This is my clean slate. I actually need some break up with you. I actually need to let you go. I actually need to quit this job. I actually need to, you know, do this with my money.
Serena:I actually need to invest. I need to move. So this could this could be it. This could be because Mars not only is, you know, the god of war and it brings aggression and fights and disagreements, but it is it brings separations. So this could be that, separation from a person, from a financial situation.
Serena:So I definitely see that happening the first week and the January. You know, a couple days later, then the sun joins Mars and Capricorn at 19 degrees. So this is just an emphasis on that aggressive energy that is happening. Definitely be aware of being hot headed, of being too aggressive, of going overboard, prioritizing work, money, and power too much. That is the downside, the evil side of Capricorn.
Serena:Like, just work, work, work, money, money, money, power, power, power that you kinda disregard everything else. On the ninth, Venus opposes Jupiter in Cancer, and then the next day, the sun and Mars follows in an opposition to Jupiter in Cancer. So, basically, at the beginning of the second week going into mid January, we have Venus, Mars, and the sun opposing Jupiter in Cancer. So this is a warning of, like, what I said, be careful of doing too much, of going overboard. Jupiter is the planet of luck, of abundance, of optimism.
Serena:So e even when there's a harsh aspect happening to Jupiter, it is not super bad because Jupiter is a planet of luck. But Jupiter is overoptimistic. It is overindulging, and that is how tons of aspects to Jupiter can work out, especially oppositions. Oppositions are needing to find the balance. So especially a Venus Jupiter opposition, you know, make sure you're not spending too much money.
Serena:This looks like a regretful spend. This looks like a regretful leaving a job, a regretful, you know, cheating in a relationship, you know, overindulging and then ruining your relationship or it you know, so stuff like that. Just doing too much, spending too much money. You are riding off of high optimism, and you're acting stupid. That is what a Venus opposite Jupiter aspect looks like.
Serena:And even, you know, the sun and Mars opposite Jupiter too, like, just doing too much. You're leaning too much to one side, and you're just, like, going overboard. It's kinda like what the what is even happening here? You know, take it down a notch. Especially with a Mars opposite Jupiter as well.
Serena:Like, this could look like going doing too much and being too aggressive about it or being too impulsive or, you know, taking a fight too far, taking something too far, taking the need for money and power too far and status too far and just like doing too much going overboard. So definitely be careful with that. Couple days later, Venus, Mars, and the sun then enters a square to Chiron and Aries at 22 degrees. So, yeah, the Cardinal placements are getting boom, bow, pow pow pow pow on the butt to the Cardinal placements. If you have Capricorn, Cancer, Aries or Libra placements, you are definitely getting smacked the January, but especially if you have like mid to later degrees of the of the cardinal signs earlier degrees, you're a little you're kind of in the clear, but later degrees you are getting smacked around like a ragdoll.
Serena:Okay? You know, Chiron is an asteroid in in astrology that represents our deep rooted subconscious wounds. So not every astrologer works with Chiron or or asteroids in general, but I like working with Chiron because I believe that there is such a bigger picture to working with Chiron. Once you heal these wounds within yourself, and we all have them, especially them being subconscious. So sometimes we don't even know that they're there until they're being activated by certain planets like these.
Serena:Once you heal these subconscious wounds within yourself, it creates a domino effect of healing. You inspire other people around you to heal as well. So it's not even you heal yourself. You heal other people by healing yourself. And that's why that's why I like working with Chiron.
Serena:A square to Chiron is tense. It is bringing those subconscious moods up to the surface, kind of forcing you to say hi to them, to recognize them, to know that they're there, to work on them, especially being that there's three planets in Capricorn making a square to Chiron. These yeah. This is like, no. You're you're not running away from this wound.
Serena:Chiron has been in Aries since 2019. So we have been you know, this isn't a new wound. This is something that if you have not healed from this wound, it is going to keep cutting you, burning you, and, like, smacking you in the face. If you have healed this wound since 2019, you are probably on the road of healing other people, which is beautiful. But, yeah, a Venus Mars sun square Chiron aspect could look like a realization of certain relationship wounds that you have, money wounds that you have, identity wounds that you have within yourself, especially being that Chiron is an Aries.
Serena:As a collective, this has brought a lot of identity wounds. Who are we? What do we want from life? What is my role in society? Who, who am I?
Serena:What do I want to look like? What's my aesthetic? Do I am I thinking for myself? I need to start thinking for myself. I need to start putting myself first.
Serena:I need to be more aggressive, more go getter. So, yeah, this has been a collective wound, but it really depends where Aries is in your chart to really get a deeper level of understanding of the kinds of wounds that you have been dealing with, the subconscious wounds since 2019. But like what I said, it's not easy. Chiron is a subconscious wound. It is not easy to deal with something that is not you're not even fully aware of on the daily.
Serena:On the fifteenth, Venus in Capricorn makes a trine, which is a harmonious aspect to Uranus and Taurus at 27 degrees, and at the same time makes a sextile, which is a nice aspect to Saturn and Pisces at 27 degrees. So this is nice for the earth signs, okay, especially if if you have later degrees, signs. Even later degrees, water signs as well. Cancer, Pisces, Scorpio, Capricorn, Taurus, Virgo, later degrees. This is nice energy for building in relationships or your financial situation, building your financial situation up.
Serena:This is with Uranus in play, Uranus is the plane of unexpected events. It's not good or bad. It's just unexpected. It is a bag of tricks. It Uranus forces you outside of your comfort zone, wants to show you new experiences, new things.
Serena:It's that eccentric friend that when you're going out with him on a Friday night, you never know where you're gonna end up. It is that friend that's bring that's taking you outside your comfort zone and is the friend that knows everybody, is introducing you to everybody, who dresses a dragness, who, you know, brings you to places that you've never been to before. You know? Because it is trying to expand your mind and take you outside your comfort zone and to do things a little differently and outside of the box. What they trying to Venus is could look like an unexpected positive meeting of someone, an unexpected positive job opportunity or money opportunity that falls into your lap.
Serena:And especially with that sextile to Saturn too, Saturn is all about building foundations. It's very stable and secure, wanting to build legacies and wisdom, future oriented. So I really think that whatever is brought to you mid January, an unexpected thing. And even with your earnest, you might not even know that is positive at first, but it is positive. And I think it's gonna be positive for building your future and moving forward or for some type of laying a solid foundation for you moving forward.
Serena:So definitely keep note of what is presented to you mid month. I'm very curious, especially if you have later degrees, earth and water in your chart. I think this is going to be a positive something positive for you guys. On the seventeenth, Venus moves into Aquarius and is in is and is here until February 10. So this is where we're slowly starting to come out of our shell.
Serena:You know, with all the planets in Capricorn, we're feeling a little bit more reserved. We're like observing from the back. We're focused on making money. We're workaholics. We're we're planning and plotting for the future.
Serena:We're a little bit more reserved with our money too, you know? So we're not really as extroverted as wanting to go outside. You know? We just spent a lot of money on on on holidays and holiday parties and seeing this, this, and this person and traveling and whatever now. So we wanna take a step back.
Serena:Now Venus moves into Aquarius, which is an air sign, thrives off of connecting with like minded people. That is what we're gonna be craving now. You know? Venus and Capricorn was like, what who and what matters to me? Who's gonna help me build?
Serena:And then Venus and Aquarius is like, okay. Now I wanna socialize with you because I feel like I feel like you're you're good for me. I feel like we're on the same page. I feel like we're we're twins. Okay?
Serena:We we twin in. We twin in. So I wanna connect with you. And I want to I wanna talk to you. And I want to do things a little bit differently.
Serena:It's very open minded to Venus and Aquarius. And when I say open minded, I mean open minded in a way that is doing things outside of the norm. Aquarius placements are actually very stubborn. So they're not open minded in a way where it's like, oh, I'm gonna, you you know, change your mind. Aquarius placement needs to make up their own mind on their own time.
Serena:You're not going to change your mind. You can offer them a very solid conversation that will make them think and then eventually make them think change their mind. But Aquarius is that sign that's like, oh, everyone is doing that. Yeah. I don't wanna do that.
Serena:You know, just really thinking outside of the box and wanting to be different and just naturally being different too. So Venus and Aquarius, we could definitely be feeling a little bit more open minded in our relationships too. Like, doing things unconventionally in your relationships than how you would usually do it. If you're single, maybe you're, like, you know, wanting to explore a different type of person, your sexuality, polyamory, things like that. Just dating in a way that you maybe never dated before.
Serena:And if this isn't popping into your brain, this is an amazing time to do that. So let's take advantage of that energy. Like, let's say you have one type. While Venus is an Aquarius, this is such a nice time to date a completely different type of person and have fun with this singles singles during this time. Like, make a game out of it.
Serena:You you don't know who you're gonna meet, but or what you're gonna learn by dating outside of what your usual type is. Like, who knows? So I think that's a little fun game to to play. For people who are in a relationship while Venus is is an Aquarius, this is still a nice time to experiment. Do things that you never really done before.
Serena:Experiment in the bedroom. Do things. Go on fun dates. You know, have some really out there, open minded conversations. This is what Venus in Aquarius loves.
Serena:Connect with your lover as a friend. This is another huge Venus in Aquarius thing that Venus in Aquarius people love. They love their friends. They put their friends on a pedestal. This is a nice time to get together with friends too.
Serena:So I think, you know, the beginning of the month, we're gonna have a time where we're coming to ourselves a little bit more. We're kind of prioritizing what matters to us, and then Venus and all the planets start moving into Aquarius slowly. And we're like, okay. Let me connect with my friends again. Hi.
Serena:I'm outside my hermit break that I've had for the past two weeks. I'm ready to socialize again. You know? So that is the vibe until February 10. The next day, though, is the new moon in Capricorn at in 28 degrees.
Serena:And a new moon is a time of new beginnings. It is a time of planting seeds of what you want to grow and blossom over the next six months until the full moon full moon in Capricorn happens. So it really matters where Capricorn rules in your chart to really get down to nitty gritty of things that you should or want to manifest. But good things to manifest during this time are Capricorn related things. You know, what's gonna bring you money, stability, security.
Serena:I mean, just stability and security. It doesn't even have to be money. But a lot of the times, you know, Capricorn being an earth sign, they do care about money. Money brings them a lot of stability, security, and not because they're materialistic, but because it just literally self soothes them. You know?
Serena:It it it emotionally regulates them having money in the bank. Not having to worry about where the money is coming from makes them function better. That's just it is what it is. Earth sign things. Especially with the new moon happening at 28 degrees, that boils down to number one in numerology.
Serena:Anytime there is a new moon happening at a one degree emphasizes how this new new beginning is very potent and strong. That's just combining astrology and numerology together. So one in numerology, one one one one eleven eleven represents, you know, manifesting a new beginning. So I think the numerology is backing up the astrology of this, especially in Capricorn. It's all about you know, it it is a leadership sign.
Serena:It's a carnal earth taking reigns and being the boss of whatever you're manifesting into your life. The the next day, the sun moves into Aquarius, and it is Aquarius season. Mercury also forms a trine to Uranus and Taurus at 27 degrees. So this is a really nice time to start thinking outside of the box with that sun moving into Aquarius and that Mercury, the plan of communication, being in harmony with the planet Uranus of thinking outside of the box. This is a really this is like an evil genius aspect.
Serena:It's like, oh my god. I just invented something off the top of my head. It is the write down what comes to your mind and what things that you think of because you could definitely have, like, an evil genius type of moment. This is a really nice time to connect with people and get the, you know, get the wheels turning on some type of things. It's like getting together with friends and being like, yeah.
Serena:We should start that business. Yeah. Yeah. Write write that down. Write that down.
Serena:And, like, you know, getting serious about it. This is the combination of having Aquarius and Capricorn in the stars together at the same time. And it's the thinking outside of the box, connecting and and curating, and bringing to life something with other people. Maybe having a conversation with someone who gives you a completely different perspective of something that you never even thought of before that that could be life changing. So I I really like a Mercury try in Uranus aspects.
Serena:In in Taurus, you know, in Taurus too, definitely, like, something about bringing something to life, taking idea and bringing it into reality and, like, you know, literally bringing it into Earth. Also, on the same though on the same day, though, Venus, you know, touches Pluto and Aquarius. So this is the downside to all the planets that will be moving into Aquarius for the next sixteen, seventeen years. Every planet that enters Aquarius will have a meeting with Pluto and Aquarius, unfortunately or unfortunately. I don't know.
Serena:Depends on your perspective. But touching a conjunction to Pluto is usually harsh. It's usually intense. Okay. I'm not even gonna sugarcoat it.
Serena:It just is. You know? Pluto is a planet of destruction, of transformation, of rebirth, of death, of, you know, trauma, of fears, of power controls, and power power dynamics. Venus, you know, comes around its merry way and enters Aquarius and is like, oh, I want to get together with friends again. No.
Serena:It has to get through some deep dark trauma first. Okay? Venus joining Pluto aspect looks like an emphasis of power dynamics and relationships. So this just seems to be a theme this month. I think there's a lot of realization about power dynamics and relationships, things that are unfair and that you're over with.
Serena:But this could also look like money power dynamics too. Could be from the same person or from the same thing. Could be from a job position. Could be from a boss. Could be from a partner.
Serena:It could be a business partner. You know? It could be either or or a combination of them together. You know, it's very prominent in interface when Venus is actually touching Pluto. Definitely be aware of being manipulated during this time, being controlled, be aware of who you're getting close to at this time or who you are close with.
Serena:If we wanna look at the pride sign, Pluto transforms. So this could look like a transformation in a relationship, like a complete transformation. Like what I said at the beginning of the month, maybe there was a realization of something. You you you wanted your clean slate in terms of a a certain relationship. And now Venus is joining Pluto later in the month and is like, okay.
Serena:This is the transformation of this relationship, and this is what it's going to look like. This is what the the roles are gonna be in the relationship. And, yeah, just or a complete, like, you know, transformation of a financial situation too. You could come come across a sum of money that transforms your life or maybe lose a sum sum of money that also changes the direction of your life too. So that's the thing with Pluto.
Serena:You know? It's it is either you are crumbling and you are burning and you are the ashes or you you are the phoenix rising from the ashes and you made it out the other side and stronger and better than ever, you never know which one you're gonna get. I guess it depends on your on your situation, you know, but and where Pluto is in your chart and how Pluto interacts with your your birth chart as well. Constantly disrupts and rebirth life, you, situations, and that is the goal of Pluto. It's not all bad, but it it's definitely it's definitely, you know, tricky tricky deep and dark.
Serena:The planet Pluto is is ruled by the god of the underworld. So when you think about it like that, Pluto drags you to the underworld so you can learn about the deepest orchids areas of your brain, end of life. So you can come back up on the other side with a lot more strength and wisdom and and and create a lot of change with that strength of wisdom. On the twentieth, Saturn sextiles Uranus at 27 degrees and also Mars and Capricorn. And Mars is also making a trine to Uranus and 27 degrees as well.
Serena:Like a week prior, Venus was making that trine to Uranus and sexile to Saturn. And now a week later, Mars has caught up and is now making a trine to Uranus and Taurus and sexiling that Saturn in Taurus as well. I mean, that Saturn in Pisces. So it's kinda just reiterating certain themes that were brought up earlier mid month. And later in the month, now we are taking action towards because that is what Mars is all about.
Serena:Mars is the initiator. It is action oriented. It is go getter. It's fiery. It's ambitious.
Serena:It is aggressive. It brings fights and disagreements and separations. So that could be themes. Right? Like, in order for me to create the vision that I have in my brain, I have to separate from you.
Serena:I have to disagree with you. I have to speak up for myself. I have to go after what I want. Mars trying Uranus and as as an aspect brings erotic movement and behavior, but it's kind of harmonious. It's kind of free flowing.
Serena:It's kinda like, oh, I'm in a flow state. You know that TikTok's trend that's like, when I do this, this, and that, I enter a flow state. That is like a Mars trend. Uranus aspect is like, you are the ball is rolling and you enter a flow state. The Mars trine Saturn aspect is so good for being resilient, for building, for being hardworking and responsible and dedicated.
Serena:It is really like about its goals and about business and wanting to build a serious future. We focus on the bag. Like, we we focus on on the future. We focused on the bigger picture here, you know? Like, we especially with the Mars of Capricorn, it's like, I'm my feelings in my bag.
Serena:You know what I mean? And and Aquarius too. Aquarius isn't about the high emotions. There's a lot of Capricorn, Aquarius happening this month. We are not about our emotions.
Serena:We got that out of the way at the beginning of the month. And with the full moon of cancer, we cried. And the rest of the month, we not crying. We we in the bag out the feeling. Later in the day in the twentieth of Mercury, the plane of communication moves into Aquarius.
Serena:So yeah, we're we're went from being a little bit more reserved in our thinking, disciplined. We're focused on stability, security, you know, those types of things. And now we're moving into Aquarius, and it's a little bit more extroverted. It's a little bit more craving friendship, craving socializing, craving craving networking, especially people who share the same thoughts and views and values as you. So this looks like, oh, I thought of a business idea.
Serena:Now let me put myself in situations where I meet those types of people who can help me bring this to life, who have the same goals and values as me. You know? Mercury then forms a immediately, actually, you know, immediately as soon as it enters Aquarius, it is it is already touching Pluto and Aquarius. So this is not as easy as I'm making it seem. The Pluto in Aquarius definitely adds a gray cloud to this planet's energy.
Serena:So what I'm telling you is the energy that's gonna be after the planet makes its meaning to Pluto, then we're gonna start seeing the the qualities of what this aspect encompasses. At the beginning, Pluto is adding, like it is like that security guard in front of the club. That's like, we see your ID and is and is questioning everything about you and scares you. And it makes and it's so scary. It makes you not even want to enter the club because why is this so scary?
Serena:Mercury conjunct Pluto looks like just heavy thoughts, dark thoughts, your your mind getting into some dark places, deep conversations, but much needed dark deep conversations because these conversations could actually be the catalyst of transformation in your life. So don't shy away from these conversations. We'll say, I'm Scorpio rising, so I I love getting deep and dark. You know? I think there's a lot of purpose into getting deep and dark and vulnerable with people from the pits of hell where we find transformation.
Serena:That is just how I view life. That is my theme for life. Mercury, also touching Pluto as well, can bring dark news, bad news, you know, news surrounding death. I'm not saying that happens to you, but it could be a possibility. Oh, serious news.
Serena:So or, you know, news surrounding birth too. It Pluto rules death and birth. You know? It's the cycle of life. So I I do just have to say that, like, I'm I'm a be real.
Serena:You know? I'm I'm a be real with you guys. I'm not gonna sugarcoat things. I'm that's just not who I am. I try I try to sugarcoat things sometimes.
Serena:That is not who I am. On the twenty third, Mars moves into Aquarius and is here until March 2. So like what I said, Mars is the planet of aggression. It is our motivation. It is our the fire underneath us.
Serena:What motivates us to get out of bed in the morning? What moves us? It is also our sexual desires, our aggressions, what causes us to fight. Mars from Capricorn to Mars in Aquarius. Mars in Capricorn, like when I said, is very stability, security, and money oriented.
Serena:That's that's what motivates us. Definitely more money and stability focused. As Mars moves into Aquarius for the next six weeks after, we are now worried about or prioritizing social connection. And not even just any type of connecting, but connecting with like minded people whose inner circle, social networking, thinking outside of the box. Now how thinking about the future oh, Mars in Aquarius is so future oriented.
Serena:It is thinking of the society, the future as a whole. Mars in Capricorn is thinking about, like, ourselves, our family legacy, our status and money. And then Mars moves into Aquarius and does not care about that anymore. It cares more about the collective, about our friend groups, about who we're associating with, where we're getting our information from, the betterment of society. Aquarius also rules things of, like, activism, humanitarianism, and stuff like that.
Serena:So we're definitely caring more about things like that, sticking up for what's right, giving more to, like, a cause, you know, volunteering possibly, joining a new group, especially, like, not only is Mars moving into Aquarius, but it's also Venus. And then soon, Mercury is also the sun. So there's a lot of Aquarius energy happening. But like what I said, a few days later, Mars enters the conjunction to Pluto and Aquarius at three degrees. And this is definitely the most brutal of them all.
Serena:You know? Mars is the planet of war. Pluto is the planet of death. Rebirth, destruction, transformation. So when they're touching each other, it's kinda like two alpha males in the room and who and who's gonna beat who.
Serena:What's gonna come out of this fight? What's gonna come out of this destruction? I'm very curious to know what happens at the end of the month and is also right before eclipse season. Like, this aspect goes exact. And then literally a couple days later, we start entering the eclipse season orb.
Serena:So I definitely feel like this is the beginning. This is the catalyst. This is the event that sparks the then change that happens walking into the eclipses, the first eclipses of 2026. A Mars Pluto conjunction happens once every two years. I think this is the first time they're actually seeing Mars and Aquarius conjunct Pluto in Aquarius.
Serena:If you are fixed signs in the early degrees, zero to five degrees, six degrees of Aquarius, Leo, Taurus, and Scorpio. Keep note of the last week in January. I'm very curious to know what is gonna happen. This is like war. Not literally.
Serena:I mean, shit. Who knows? Could literally mean literally, but, yeah, this is like definitely be aware. Oh, warnings for this. Let's let's talk about it.
Serena:Let's be real. Definitely be aware of who you're associating with. Definitely be aware of putting yourself in dangerous situations. Listen to your gut. If you feel like you shouldn't go out that night, don't go out.
Serena:You feel like you shouldn't hang out with those people, don't hang out with those people. Be aware of manipulation. Be aware of surrounding yourself with bad people. This is definitely a dangerous aspect. This is an aspect where, you know, definitely be aware of trauma, sexual trauma being yeah.
Serena:I don't know. Just I I guess that that's just the warning of of that, especially if you have early degrees of the fixed signs. The day before, actually, Neptune moves into Aries. This is so noteworthy. This is we're starting to see all the outer planets move into their new sign.
Serena:Neptune dips his toes into Aries last 2025, and we saw a little preview of what Neptune in the Aries looks like. Neptune has been in Pisces since 2011. Okay? Neptune moving into Aries into a new sign is huge. I can't even remember what Neptune was like in any other sign besides Pisces and affecting any other area of life besides the Pisces area of my life.
Serena:So kind of think back of maybe what was happening around the summer be as Neptune was moving into Aries, especially if you know where Aries rules in your chart, what kind of things were happening. Neptune is a planet that rules illusions, delusions, but also creativity, empathy, compassion. It is boundaryless, and that could mean in love, but it could also mean you know, it could hurt you because of that. It is the rose colored glasses. It is the veil in front of her eyes, but it makes beautiful art and beautiful connection.
Serena:Neptune is moving in Aries in this area of your life. It's definitely gonna bring a lot more empathy and a lot more compassion, a lot more beauty, but also a lot more confusion and illusions. So definitely be careful of that as well. And Neptune will be here for, what, another, like, fifteen years in Aries. So get used to that energy.
Serena:The last aspect of this month is going to be on January 29, and that is Mercury conjunct Venus in Aquarius at 14 degrees. I like a Mercury conjunct Venus aspect for love poetry. Okay? I love poetry. I love poetry about love.
Serena:This is also a nice time to confess your love for someone. You know, it could be very whoever you're confessing your love or feelings can be very receptive at this time. A nice time to talk about your values and talk about relationship things or talk about money. Talk have nice conversations with a partner or someone that you love or care about. I feel like this is a really nice time to have conversations, much more receptive.
Serena:Mercury and Venus is out of that conjunction with Pluto, so it's kind of on this merry way. Aquarius is an air sign. They love connecting. It's all about networking connection. I think if you want to have a conversation at the end of the month on twenty ninth, it's a nice time to have a conversation where it will be received in a nice way, in a harmonious way.
