We cover the sport of CrossFit from all angles. We talk with athletes, coaches and celebrities that compete and surround in the sport of CrossFit at all levels. We also bring you Breaking News, Human Interest Stories and report on the Methodology of CrossFit. We also use the methodology to make ourselves the fittest we can be.
Guess who's back in the saddle?
From the gym to the screen, yeah,
we cover it all.
Midday motivation every time you press
call.
Lunch with the Clydesdales.
Cowboy, bring the heat.
Crossfit, boobies, music on repeat.
Half hour hustle, yeah,
we building that brand.
Grab a plate, tune in now,
you part of the fam.
It's lunch time!
It's majestic.
Wow.
Never did I think those would be the
words coming out of your mouth.
That is majestic.
That is absolutely majestic.
This morning, my wife... Oh, go ahead.
I like the new layout.
Yeah, I added your name.
You get top billing now.
How about that?
I did it yesterday,
and then you no-showed me.
Yeah, dude, sorry.
I was in a horrendous amount of pain.
I don't know anything about back pain.
Yeah, I'm sure you don't.
How many surgeries have we had?
Twelve.
Twelve, yeah.
Yeah.
Two years sleeping in a recliner.
Yeah.
Yeah.
So fun.
So fun.
Better today.
Thank you, Amanda.
I'm going back for some more treatment
tomorrow.
I was minding my own business yesterday.
So actually, let me back up.
I tweaked it in the warm ups for
the snatch at Monster Games.
Not this past Sunday,
but the Sunday before last.
strapped up, still took the floor,
still snatched.
Um,
and was actually feeling better because I
haven't done anything since I got back
aside from ride my bike Sunday, uh,
Monday, uh,
Saturday morning and ride my bike again,
Tuesday morning.
Like I said,
only two things that I've done, you know,
aside from walk around and coach people.
And then, uh,
Yesterday, I was minding my own business.
Every once in a while,
I'll stand up on my desk and I'll
do, you know,
twenty air squats just to kind of move
around a little bit.
And it hit pretty hard.
And like dropped me down almost to my
knees for a little bit.
I couldn't stand up all the way,
which is a whole lot of fun.
FYI, like so cool.
And it finally kind of started to loosen
up a little bit.
And I was like, okay, cool.
Not a big deal.
And I went to the refrigerator and went
to bend down to grab a bag of
salad.
Like it wasn't like a Stephanie pound
dumbbell or anything like that.
It was literally a bag of salad.
salad and when i leaned over a little
bit just to kind of do like this
it hit again and this time it was
way way worse um i was breathing heavy
like you know trying to kind of like
gut through it or whatnot called my life
because i didn't know if i was gonna
be able to actually get in my jeep
to leave no it never happens doing
something cool a hundred percent amanda a
hundred percent yeah i can't it's not even
a cool story it's like i was grabbing
a bag of salad out of the refrigerator
Yes.
Good Lord.
That would have been way better.
Anyway,
managed to get in my Jeep and drive
myself to my primary care physician,
a.k.a.
Jeremy Catwa.
And, yeah, we needled it,
threw some lasers on it.
So, fun fact, Ed,
this is the first time this has happened.
Like, I got two belts I never wear.
I own a pair of knee sleeves now.
Never did before.
I was...
I got a video of me snatching with
them on,
and I feel like an U-Eleven kid playing
baseball with, like, all the things on.
I got the guards and the mitts and
all that other shit.
It's never bothered me like this until
here recently, so...
Going back tomorrow,
getting some more treatment,
and I should be fine to get back
on the saddle next week.
Fraser Farms, lettuce is risky these days.
What even lettuce?
That's the best part about it.
It was broccoli slaw.
Sucks, dude.
But thank you all for being concerned
about my well-being.
I sure do appreciate it.
I am feeling much better today as
evidenced by the fact that I am right
here.
Yeah,
my major back injury that really put me
down was lifting laundry.
Yeah, it's the best, right?
Yep.
At least you had like a basket full
of laundry.
I'm talking about a gallon Ziploc bag with
broccoli slaw in it.
And I didn't even get,
like I did this.
Yep.
That's it.
when i did the laundry it was because
i i turned to pick it up right
instead of like like in the gym and
you're gonna lift something you brace
yourself you set for it you get your
body prepared yeah and when we were young
you could you you could twist and lift
laundry now that that's playing with fire
So it's what we train for, right?
Right.
Like, how many times Greg said it?
Like,
you don't want to be nine years old
and get up off the toilet.
Yeah.
A hundred percent.
Like, no, no, no.
I'm not twisting.
I'm going to get in front of it.
Bend at the knees, lift with my legs.
Like,
I'm not doing any of that kind of...
Dude, it sucks.
I think Andrew... Oh,
I never hurt my back doing something cool.
It's always been mundane.
Like,
I laid down on my kid's bed with
them and fell asleep for fifteen minutes.
That...
Yeah, trying to get up from that.
Sometimes you're just like,
I fell asleep wrong.
My neck was wrong while I slept.
Yeah, now I'm like this.
I don't know why.
It's terrible, dude.
Andrew Sten,
I think this may take the cake.
I hurt my back feeding a cat once.
That's what you get for having a cat.
Yep.
Sorry.
Sorry, Steny boy.
I love you to death,
but that's what you get for having a
cat.
CrossFit is great for like straight ahead
movement, even like backward movement.
But the minute you put a twist or
a pivot in there,
we don't really train that.
So Sten says it was his parents' cat,
not his likely story.
Way to back it up.
That's exactly what somebody,
an adult male with a cat would say.
Nothing like a loose toilet seat to tweet.
I don't want to know, Jay Birch.
Nope.
I do not need to know any more
details.
You can stop right there.
I believe you about that.
Yes.
How can we do CrossFit and still be
hurt by housework?
I'll never know.
I wouldn't even hurt by housework.
Salad.
Salad took me out.
Ladies and gentlemen, eat meat.
I don't know what else to tell you.
I got taken out by cabbage and broccoli.
Nothing ever happened when I ate a chicken
wing.
No.
I've never been hurt by steak.
Not once.
In fact, chicken wings make me feel good.
They're there for me in my time of
need.
Generally speaking, I have never,
it's kind of like you've never seen a
picture of somebody on a jet ski not
smiling, right?
You've also never seen anybody eating
wings.
It's like, this is so stupid.
No, no, no, no, no.
Why would I eat these?
I will tell you,
I've been on a jet ski not smiling.
Were you terrified?
After I had a couple of the back
surgeries,
I just thought my back was okay to
jet ski.
To jet ski.
Yeah.
It let me know real damn quick that
it was not prepared to jet ski.
But I paid for the hour,
so damn it,
I'm getting my money's worth whether I'm
in extreme pain or not.
Yeah,
I'm not bringing it back five minutes
early, dog.
You'll get it back at fifty nine,
fifty nine.
I'm going to coast in while the clock
is ticking down.
Five, four, three percent.
Look.
Hit it right there.
At next year's games,
Dave had better introduce some kind of
lift and pivot movement.
If you think that the – what was
the one that we got all the bicep
tears and the – The ring dips.
The ring dips.
You think that caused some injuries.
All we got to do is, look,
a lift, just laundry,
just a bad – a lift and then
turn and put it on a shelf.
Guaranteed.
Done.
Everybody's back's thrown out.
Meredith, that's more for the Masters,
says Ed.
Yeah, no,
we're not doing it at the Masters games.
The Safety Council should not let that
happen.
The CAC is not going to let that
happen.
I will say this.
I say we're not doing it at the
Masters games.
Me and Benoit have had this rule forever.
Like after they did the marathon row in
twenty eighteen,
how many people do you know rode a
marathon after after seeing it like a lot,
right?
Yep.
I am not one of those people.
Me neither.
One of my real good friends did.
And like, it wasn't going to stop.
Dwayne had a puddle of sweat underneath
him.
Looked like a lake.
And his wife got there.
Tina got there and was like,
what are you doing?
He's like, I need water.
And just was not stopping.
Me and Benoit have been talking about it
for years.
I'm not rolling a marathon unless I get
to the games and everybody's rolling a
marathon.
Oh,
we rolling it and I'm on the floor
of the games.
Cool.
Done.
uh speaking of getting your money's worth
get the money out of your sleep and
recovery using our discount code jazzy at
thirdsy.com backslash jazzy or you can use

that back and ready to go absolutely
thirdsy.com backslash jazzy vicky that was
fantastic did you uh did you like the
the get jazz stickers the ones that are
now i'm still gonna be finding all over
my jeep for the next two years yeah
i did yeah i was really proud with
that design i thought it was cool
Ladies and gentlemen,
be careful if you order a shirt and
you get it.
When you take it out of the bag...
My packer,
I told her to make sure they didn't
get lost in the bottom of the bag.
So she folded them inside the shirt.
So as you open your shirt,
there will be stickers in there.
So if you're like me and you rip
open the bag and then grab the shirt
and go to like...
whip it out to be able to check
it out and see it all at once
instead of unfolding it nice and neat like
i guess a normal proper human being would
do then stickers just fly everywhere yeah
it's sticker confetti i gathered most of
them i gathered most of them fyi this
shirt is gangster it is super soft i
love the color um this is fantastic
It is, they're nice.
I've gotten nothing but good feedback on
how soft they are, how good they fit.
And you can get yours, use Cash App,
Venmo.
My usernames are below or you can click
the, take a picture of that QR code.
take you right to my venmo it's thirty
two dollars with shipping included in the
united states if you're outside of the
united states dm me we can talk uh
we can figure something out uh i'll plug
it into pirate ship see how much it
will be to get to you we'll figure
something out you say pirate ship yeah
that's how i'm uh sending all these out
Oh,
I thought you meant like an actual pirate
ship.
Ar no, matey.
I am the captain now.
I will be delivering these shirts.
So I have to say something.
Oh, here we go.
You know how I always do Lego to
kind of stress release?
Yes.
Right.
And I...
I have an F one fetish and Lego,
right?
Yeah.
So I have my favorite team is the
McLaren team.
I have both of their racing helmets done
in Lego and the big McLaren F one
car.
And they're hanging on my wall.
I got home from San Jose.
I went to unload my suitcase.
I picked it up to,
to chuck it on the bed,
bumped the Lando Norris helmet.
It fell from the wall and crashed on
the floor.
into tons of pieces yeah i'd imagine it's
more than three now there are some of
them stayed in chunks some of them are
individual pieces my lack of engineering
brain could not figure out how to
reassemble big pieces using the little
pieces as connectors to somehow get this
all done you'd be fair that would be
enormously tricky
So that was not a stress release for
me.
I just want you to know that was
very stressful for me.
And two days ago,
I took all the big chunks and ripped
them down into single pieces.
And I found the instructions on the
internets.
And I've begun the rebuild.
But if you've ever done...
There are failed videos on YouTube of
people dropping major Lego constructions.
Yeah, I can't...
That is too hard for me.
And so... If you get a Lego,
they come in bags, the pieces.
So you only have to work with a
small number of pieces at a time.
I now have buckets...
of different sized pieces and it is taking
me forever to find the piece i need
yeah because this is going to be a
very lengthy rebuild process good night um
daniel arnson i wonder if my shirt will
be waiting for me today i never checked
the mail yours is out it went out
sunday night i'm trying to remember where
you live i think michigan correct it
should be there i think michigan i've been
so no i said this before we have
uh
We don't have a mailbox in front of
the house.
We got like the big bank of mailboxes
because we live in this pre-planned
suburban hell neighborhood.
Anyway,
so we don't check our mail any sort
of regularly whatsoever.
The only time I really go check is
if I know something's coming.
So I knew this was coming.
And then I'm waiting also like been
checking for Shanna's,
the shirt from Shanna.
And like y'all sent them at the same
time, but I think Shanna's further up.
She's in Oregon.
She's way, way up there.
Maybe tomorrow.
I wonder if you took pics and put
it into the AIs,
whether it would figure out how to put
it back together.
I know there are apps that do that,
Lito,
and I probably should have done that.
I just...
I'm looking at it as a challenge at
this point.
You know how like you start Murph and
you just have to finish it now.
Like that's how my mentality is for this.
I love what Dan Church says.
I have Lego love, but a duplo budget.
Yeah.
Yeah.
It is way, way expensive.
Um,
was something else i'm um binge hours of
series and build thousand piece legos once
again where do you find the time i
want to tell you this ken walters don't
dog me i don't even i don't even
turn my tv on until about eight o'clock
at night i have a laptop that sits
beside me while i'm working that has stuff
running on it and then from the end
of work until eight o'clock i do nothing
but like workout yard work
all of that stuff.
So get off my get off my back.
Literally get off my back.
Sometimes my heart feels like a dropped
Lego project.
Yeah.
And and this to Ken Walters series now
only last like eight episodes or ten
episodes.
It ain't like back in our day when
you had to watch twenty four episodes a
season.
edit yeah like some of them are six
episodes the madison six episodes like
that doesn't take long to get through if
you can get through it i fell asleep
twice trying to watch that yeah at the
beginning is so damn slow
Mr. Dan Church,
I missed the back injury talk,
but he called the muscle bites full name
or just say QL.
I didn't say either, Dan.
So Dan was helping me figure out what
I did after I strained my back because
Dan's a freaking genius.
And he told me, first of all,
he just had me say,
it sounds like QL.
And I was like,
I'm going to use you to speak English
because I have no idea what a QL
is.
and then he actually sent me what the
name of it is and it's like quadratus
lumborum or something like that and i said
that sounds like some harry potter shit to
which he replied he's like well you're not
wrong because it helps you leviosa stuff
up off the ground and i was like
okay fair i was right how about that
yeah dan he did not call by its
name he went oh my back yeah basically
Oh, but yeah, no, it's just, uh,
Jeremy said just from, you know,
everything I told him and in him just
kind of poking and prodding and whatnot
yesterday,
it's just a bad strain to where he
literally said, man, I'll fix this today,
but we gonna,
we gonna get it started today.
And I was like, okay, perfect.
My back is broken.
It's spinal.
Do what Michael?
It's spinal.
Spinal.
um yeah i don't even know there was
a little bit a little bit of crossfit
news it's a really light week so it's
great for an off the rail show before
we get on the rails though i shared
this with the crew before we got went
live i was stumbling through youtube and i
found chill and relax with lincoln park
which i never thought those words would go
together in my life
Never.
And then I played it,
and it is god-awful.
Yeah, it's bad.
It is like a Muzak version of Linkin
Park.
Who thought that was a good idea?
Nobody asked for that.
If I were easy-listening Yacht Rock,
I'll listen to Yacht Rock.
Here's the thing.
It's not even Yacht Rock because it's all
instrumental.
Oh, yeah.
It's worse than Yacht Rock.
It's not like they're going, I can't feel.
It's literally like Muzak version.
It sounds like if you were playing Linkin
Park instrumentals in a grocery store.
Yes.
And it was like the grocery store version
of it.
It's terrible.
It's absolutely terrible.
Vicky,
put the link in the chat if someone
really wants to hear it.
Yeah.
It's got an AI.
I want to see your algorithm, Scott.
It is I take it as a daily
challenge to just totally jack up my
algorithm.
I can do whoever's in charge of my
algorithm is probably confused on a daily
basis from the round of random shit that
I look up.
No assistant to the regional manager,
Joseph.
That he's an he's an ass man.
Don't ruin Linkin Park for me.
Yeah, for real.
Don't ruin Linkin Park.
Yeah.
It's so bad, Ed.
So bad.
Yesterday,
the WFP announced the wildcard invites to
their tour stop too.
Did they?
Which I'm still hoping to get to.
I did put in media credentials.
Jamie put in media credentials.
We have not heard back because Carolyn is
competing.
Okay.
um they announced the wild cards vicky has
it somewhere she's trying to pull it up
um most of them make sense to me
okay um a couple do not um here
we go that's why they're so here the
wild card invites and if you could scroll
through there vicky
Is that Saxon or Spencer?
So that is Jeannie Chevre.
Jeannie Chevre.
Jeannie Chevre.
Yep.
Makes sense.
Sarah Sigmund's daughter came in dead last
at tour stop one.
Tour stop one.
I am one of the biggest Sarah fans
ever.
She's a fantastic human being.
It's over.
It's just sad.
I don't want to see this Sarah out
on the floor.
Here's the thing.
It's name recognition.
I get that, but I,
as a fan of her,
just want her to stop.
We've been talking legacy for a week.
It's ruining her legacy.
She's, what, twelve years in now?
When she first showed?
Twenty-fourteen?
Twenty-fifteen?
Twenty-six?
No.
Twenty-fifteen is when she first podiumed.
Yeah, but I mean,
she's just competing in general, you know,
games athlete type stuff.
Either way, it's been a long time.
She spent a really big portion of that
injured and on the comeback trail and on
the new coach trail and on the...
I just,
I don't want to see it anymore.
I understand why you would invite her.
She is super popular.
She has more followers than most of the
field.
I get all that I don't want to
see her take another last place.
Yeah,
that I have so many good memories of
watching her.
That is just not what I want to
see.
I felt so bad for her when the
one event she did good echo sprint,
she went the wrong way to finish line.
And she never got back that time.
She made a lot of mental errors on
the floor.
But she took she podium twice at the
games.
And we're forgetting that version of Sarah
because of all of these attempts at this
point in her life.
She has no cartilage left in her knee.
None.
I'm not even sure she has ligaments left.
There's a long run at this event.
She's going to get destroyed in that.
I just don't.
i've never been i've always understood it
but it's getting to a point where i
just i don't want to see michael jordan
as a washington wizard right we talked
about this earlier right i just don't i
don't want to see i don't want to
see jump shot michael i wanted to see
the high-flying aerial defensive tyrant
michael jordan not jump shot michael
Having said that,
I'm super curious as to how this is
going to go.
Because whether I want to see it or
not, they have my attention now.
Right?
Whether I want to see her go out,
because nobody wants to see her fail.
I don't want to see any of them
fail, if I'm being completely honest,
right?
Because I know what that feels like,
especially being on the floor.
Yeah, I don't want to see her fail,
and that's the point.
But I want to...
And she clearly said, sure,
and is out there doing it, right?
So I want to see what's going to
happen.
Can you pull up the Mike comment and
the Dan comment?
We'll go Mike first.
Not going to lie,
would love to see her perform again.
She may need it just for mental happiness.
But how much mental happiness is another
last place finish going to give you?
And then Dan Church says,
do people who got into the sport in
the last five years even know why Sarah
is a choice?
She hasn't really been relevant for a long
time.
I think relevance is a tough word because
I think she is relevant just because of
the number of followers she has and the
amount of traction she has on socials.
Yeah.
But she has not been competitive in five
years.
Ivera says,
who puts more fans in the seats at
this point,
Sarah or the like of Trista Smith?
Well, according to you yesterday,
we already have all the fans we're ever
going to get.
And we aren't going to get any more.
Right?
That's what you said yesterday, Aver.
So we're out of fans?
That we hit our limit?
Well,
we shouldn't try new ways to get fans
because we already have what we have.
Got it.
Sorry, I'm being snarky today.
No, that's all right.
My Lego exploded on the floor.
My Lego blew up on me.
I bit my Wookie.
Yeah.
Uh, Ed,
we want to remember a prime and I
missed.
Hmm.
Yeah.
Uh, Corey's back is a Lego project.
Apparently I'm back is way better than it
was yesterday and we'll be better again
after tomorrow.
So I'm good.
Uh,
we want to remember a prime and it
hurts to see her decline so much.
That's, that is the point.
Um,
So there it is.
Now we have Paige Rogers,
which was corrected yesterday.
It said Paige Powers.
I think that this is an excellent choice.
We have Saxon Pancheck and we have Spencer
Pancheck.
Okay.
Did they just use two different pictures
of one of them?
I believe that they are correct.
The pictures are correct.
I just think that would be hilarious
because, like,
they both basically have the same haircut,
right?
Like, it's not... It's so... Because,
like, I actually know them in person.
So, like, to me,
it's not really hard to tell them apart.
But I know if you don't see them
that often, it could be pretty hard.
Yeah.
And, Avera, I'm sorry for giving you shit.
I didn't mean to, like,
go off like that.
uh scott you know this is taken out
of context and not an accurate statement
uh but all good i can handle the
weight of your comment i like the debate
dude i like the debate yeah but i'm
i'm gonna stick to my guns with what
i said yesterday uh if you don't have
at least one pan check are you even
a legit comp that's a great point here's
the thing you have plenty to choose from
now
Right?
Scott, Saxon, Spencer, Christian, like,
I mean, pick a thing, dude.
Like, you want a pan check?
We got a pan check.
How many pan checks do you need?
Yeah.
Wayne makes a good point.
So Will says it's okay for Saxon to
compete now?
I think that.
Damn.
That is a strong statement, Wayne.
Damn.
Shots fired.
Holy smokes.
I'm going to leave that one alone.
Vera makes a good point.
It's very hard for him to debate with
me with a ninety character limit.
That's fair.
That's fair.
That's one hundred percent fair.
Here's a pan check.
There's a pan check everywhere.
A pan check.
You get a pan check.
You get a pan check.
You get a pan check.
Everybody gets a pan check.
Everybody will reach under their seats.
You have a pan check right there under
your seat.
The coolest fact of the Pancheck family is
Saxon Pancheck is a twin.
His wife is a twin, Taylor,
and they had twins.
Yeah.
To me, that still is mind-boggling.
Why wouldn't they?
Corey,
you are not the assistant to the regional
manager, but it's a nice try.
It just came up on one of my
things.
I love the office.
The Pancheck sponsored by Harpo
Productions, another Oprah reference.
I just checked.
Joseph Ramirez just checked and no
Pancheck under his chair.
Well,
that's because Joseph Ramirez is in a
kiddie chair and we couldn't fit them
under.
I was about to say, yeah,
there's no Pancheck that could fit
actually under your chair, dude.
My bad.
Joseph did a workout either this morning.
I think it was this morning.
And it was supposed to be erg bike
and deadlifts,
and he didn't have a bike erg,
so he had to use an echo bike.
That is not an equivalent.
No, I don't have a biker either.
And Brandon programs it at least once a
week, sometimes more than that.
And until I can get one,
I've been just substituting it and like,
you know,
making the appropriate calories for it.
But it is not the same, dude.
Not even close.
Not at all.
Meg says, oh, we had them,
but the ladies had them in class.
The ladies.
So why didn't Joseph have one?
the ladies have one in class i'm just
saying hey i'll i'll deal with short jokes
we're not going gender man and i'm just
gonna do the construct scott anyway twenty
five and fifteen nine echo bike cows and
deadlifts
uh the edii thing ed ai ed ai
comment twins run into blood scott i have
twins less than four percent i would it
would happen in my family now if they
have kids it jumps to twenty six percent
jeez so i know a set of twins
that one of them had twins
Usually it skips a generation is the wives
tale.
I don't know if that's true.
I don't know.
uh uh meg said she modified it for
the other guy in the class he just
didn't do the mod because joseph is
pig-headed ouch i'm just gonna do it as
it's written ouch let me tell you
something dude because that's a sprint
right on an echo bike yeah and in
deadlift that is disgusting
That is absolutely disgusting.
Your heart rate is going to be somewhere
around three hundred and seventy five
beats a minute.
By the time you get to the fifteen
and you get to fifteen calories,
you'd be like, I'm going to go hard.
And you look down,
you're biking at like forty two RPM.
Like, oh, I'm just going to go.
Apparently, I'm just fine.
This is I love this coach speak.
It was gross watching it.
Oh, was it, Meg?
It was gross watching it.
Well, thank you for that.
Let me tell you something.
And you know, you've coached before.
You've been a coach.
Oh, I know.
It's some of the most fun thing ever.
I'm like,
this is what y'all need to do.
If I was doing that today,
and I'm not because I'm coaching.
If I was doing that,
this is what I would do.
Now, you're free to do however you like.
But of course,
Meg takes it a step further and goes,
and it is completely awful.
You are going to hate every moment of
this.
It's going to be gross.
Yeah.
My playlist of fire, dude.
My six AM ladies on Wednesday mornings or
now fixing to be Wednesday and Friday
mornings.
Love my playlist because like I'm sitting
there and just this morning I was,
what was it?
Not ride with me.
Some Nelly song.
I don't remember,
but I was just like rapping along with
Nelly and they're giggling.
What are you doing?
Box jumps.
It was fantastic.
i just say nelly is far underrated as
he's on almost every playlist i have from
that era of music absolutely absolutely um
All right.
So the other thing that was announced
yesterday is what a Palooza announced the
first team to confirm that they're
participating in the water Palooza,
SoCal camps versus camps versus camps.
And it is brute shock.
Imagine my surprise.
I believe Dylan said this on the glint
and things podcast two nights ago,
and then they released it on Instagram
yesterday.
Mr. Malitzky.
Oh, so he did.
So it's exclusive announcement to the
Glintons.
And then we didn't win a lot.
I love that.
That's awesome for Gary now.
Yes.
Leo, to the surprise of absolutely no one.
Yeah.
Shocker.
You mean the team,
the camp that had the majority of the
podium at the games is going to have
a team.
And wow,
I find that so hard to believe.
I met Mike Tyson and Michael Buffer and
a couple other dudes,
but those are my faves.
That's it.
Clydesdale.
Nelly.
Oh.
Yeah.
Sorry.
Didn't have the tune.
Yeah.
It's fine.
Should we just go ahead and announce the
second team that's going to be there and
just call it mayhem?
I think two will be proven.
I hope I'm included in the heavier,
harder, and longer team.
It'll be proven next, Mayhem,
and then they're going to do the
unaffiliated.
Who is on the Brute team?
HWP doesn't have enough people.
Alex Gazan and Eric Cofullo.
I'm just a two-woman team.
I mean, they could make some noise.
I think they're going to make an
unaffiliated team, John George.
That's my prediction.
I don't have any inside knowledge.
I don't have any outside knowledge either.
Yeah.
What about the comp train team?
They announced that yet?
Comp train didn't turn in their paperwork
in time.
Oh, look,
me and Lito on the same page.
Yeah, Ortega, a hundred percent.
Um,
who's going to be on the brew team
was asked.
Um, well, I,
Amy Kringle's coach said that she is not
participating.
Yeah.
Because she has WFP rogue and there
there's a holiday planned in there too.
Yeah.
So I, that would leave James Dallin,
Jason, you have Maddie sturt.
Olivia.
Kyra.
Just spitballing.
Who knows?
Tia is back to working out.
Saw that.
So there you have that on the proven
side.
Did I mix proven and brute?
You did.
It's fine.
We know what you mean.
Because my mind went ahead and skipped
over the women of brute.
You went straight to Kyra.
Yeah.
Emma would be there for Brute.
Yeah.
Emma.
We knew what you meant.
It's fine.
Yeah.
Anyway,
did I mention my Lego fell off the
wall and crashed?
You hadn't.
Have you read any good books lately?
I have not read.
How's work?
We're talking about things that we haven't
mentioned.
Yeah.
Anyway, it should be fun.
We'll see what happens with all that.
Oh, yes, Jason, the outlaw way.
The outlaw way, yeah.
If you look at the comments section on
the initial post of the four,
that there were going to be four teams,
the sarcastic comments people were making
were hilarious.
Oh, I'll bet.
Yeah.
Didn't gladiators have like teams?
Like the American gladiators or like the
old time Roman gladiators?
Let's go with both.
Did you see the clip of Matt saying
he was a backup to the HWPO team?
matt was saying i mean yeah kind of
i guess and freaking uh what's his name
was like oh yeah no he's a backup
uh so anyway um what else do we
want to talk about yes jake morcone um
landman
Yesterday, I said had started filming,
would finish filming, and I was wrong.
And I think it was Mark Phillips that
I said he was wrong,
and I was wrong.
And they have not started filming yet
because Taylor Sheridan,
as Mark said yesterday,
had not finished writing the script for
Landman season three.
To be fair,
Taylor Sheridan is probably writing
seventeen scripts at a time right now.
Yeah,
so I wanted to apologize to Mark Phillips.
It wasn't Mark Phillips.
Okay,
I'm apologizing to whoever said that
yesterday.
You know what, Mark?
He's still sorry, even if it wasn't you.
It's fine.
First episode of Ted Last was good.
I didn't even... It came out yesterday,
right?
Yesterday, I think.
Yeah, I've not watched it yet.
We had a sick kid in Montana yesterday,
and she was FaceTiming all night last
night.
Oh, baby.
And so I didn't watch any shows last
night.
Ken Walters.
What did we watch?
We watched the documentary about Mariah
Wilson.
Mariah.
Gravel bike.
She is a gravel bike racer.
Got murdered in Austin.
Oh, sounds fun.
You know,
if I had a dollar for every murder
documentary I've seen just in the past
month,
not even like all time since me and
Jennifer have been really have been
married.
It's absolutely insane.
Oh, no,
we watched a talk to love story, Megan.
It's it's bad.
It's real bad.
The other thing I wanted to bring up,
because I don't want to piss Ken Walters
off anymore.
Oh, I do.
Not really.
I love Ken.
Is that Garrett Glinton and I have decided
to do a yay sports podcast.
Talking about sports that are not
CrossFit.
Correct.
Actual sports.
And we're just doing it for fun.
and we're going to talk about all other
stuff going on in the sports world other
than crossfit just to kind of like flush
out the brain all that yay sports yes
yay sports um collie will not be a
part of that show no no no no
not even a little bit
So it's going to start next week.
We don't really know a schedule because of
Garrett's work schedule is unpredictable.
And we will talk about all sports.
And I think like her favorite sports and
my favorite sports are different.
So we've around different things.
I just like how she said,
so like the WNBA.
Scott was like, sure, why not?
When are we going to talk about the
awesome rendition of the National Anthem
at the first women's pro baseball game?
I would have to look that up, sir.
Sorry.
Oh, don't.
Please don't.
Vicky, stop.
Don't even.
Don't do it.
Bruh.
Speaking of the Glintons,
they got some heavy hitters this week.
I did see they had the last American
champion of the CrossFit Games,
Kristen Clever, on this week.
Can't wait.
Please talk to her producer.
I talked to Garrett last night,
personally.
I jumped over the producer and went right
to the star.
Right to that number one, baby.
Yeah, I went to the talent,
not to the producer.
Yeah.
Kyle's in CrossFit says,
you thought the Lincoln Park thing was
bad?
Trust me, dude.
Here's the thing.
It's the inaugural game of the Women's
Professional Baseball League, right?
So it's kind of a big deal.
And they just assumed I could have went
and found somebody at one of the
businesses in this business park
at random and be like, hey,
you know the national anthem?
And he'd be like, yeah.
I was like, cool,
I need you to come sing it.
And probably did a better job.
It is terrible.
Vicky said,
I'm going to do you a favor and
not even pull that up because it's that
bad.
A two-year-old could have sang it better.
Yes.
I have an eight-year-old who would happily
sing it better for you.
she sang it like she hates america all
right i'll do it on my own time
just to that's sports hey that's sports
the the worst national anthem i've ever
heard was carl lewis oh my god carl
lewis saying that national anthem he did
an nba basketball game it was horrific
Do you remember Roseanne bars before a
pie?
It was a Padres game.
Yeah.
Made that look good.
Roseanne bar was really bad,
but I think she was trying to be
bad.
She was, she thought she was trying to,
she's, she's a comedian.
She's trying to be funny.
Like, yeah, which did not.
Yeah.
It didn't translate well.
And she said that since then, like.
Carl Lewis was trying,
he was trying to do runs like with
the hand on the ear.
Oh yeah.
Like, like,
You know?
Yeah.
No.
God, no.
And it was horrific.
Yeah.
Greatest national anthem?
Marvin Gaye.
NBA All-Star Game, I believe.
I'd have to look that up.
I'd have to look that up.
I mean, there's a couple of them, dude.
Chris Stapleton's got a fantastic one.
A couple of people I've heard.
Oh, speaking of
Stuff like that.
Got in my Jeep this morning,
heading over here after,
after I coached and there was a Prince
song on the radio and I will bet
you a dollar.
You don't know what Prince song was
playing on the radio this morning.
So it's something that I wouldn't expect
to play on the radio.
in in in in in in in in
in in in in in in in in
in in in in in in in in
in in in in in
turned it on and I'm sitting there and
I'm like, plugging my phone in,
putting it on my little holder and
whatnot.
And I heard,
cause it's just like clips from the movie
put to music.
Right.
Yeah.
And I went, is that, and you know,
got that little,
cause my radio tells you what song it
is, right?
What chase station you're on.
All of a sudden it just comes to
Prince bat dance.
And I was like, no way.
There's no possible way.
love prince yeah i actually like the song
the bat dance song but i don't even
think bat dance makes my top twenty prince
songs oh dude it was wild oh wait
that's and it you know it's uh jack
nicholson this town needs an enema like
that's one of the things that gets said
on in the bat dance song because it
was in the movie
it was bizarre dude it's like whoever
they're uh do you remember the music video
for it were they all dressed like the
joker yeah clearly clearly because the
joker wore purple yeah when when when
michael keaton's batman came out i saw it
in the theaters and then as soon as
it hit vhs yes i'm old
I had the VHS.
Like I was a huge, huge Batman.
I wanted the,
like the shirt with just a little,
his little yellow Batman symbol.
I wore that bitch everywhere,
everywhere I went.
I did not care for the first Batman.
You can be wrong.
It's fine.
But I, I was a comic book nerd.
Sure.
And Batman doesn't kill people.
No.
so they're getting bad flick killed a
whole bunch of people right but the fact
and i had to get over that like
as the movies came out then i i
kind of yeah got over some of that
stuff the panels popped off and the two
machine guns came out right he just went
to mowing down freaking uh i was like
yeah that's okay you had to kind of
and it was for the movie so
I probably like that first movie better
now than I did when I went to
watch it because it just was something I
did not expect to happen.
Batman killed the Joker.
Spoiler alert, sorry.
It's only fifty years old.
It came out in eighty-nine.
No big deal.
Spoiler alert,
if you haven't seen the Michael Keaton's
first Batman, the Joker dies at the end.
Go ahead and get that out of there.
Yeah.
Good night.
You're not old unless you had beta or
a slide carousel.
We were not a Betamax family,
and we had a VHS.
Well, beta was more expensive.
It was supposed to be higher quality.
Right.
I know people that had it.
We will poll.
We just didn't.
Yeah.
We had a VHS,
and I was the only one in the
house that could program the VCR to make
the clock work.
So if you were rich,
you had your own VHS rewind or separate
from the player.
Yeah.
So I remember talking about my great aunt
that had the basically her own library of
movies at the house.
She had a route she had wanted to
rewind everything with laser disc.
Laser disc is real bougie.
If you had the laser disc, you were
Jay Birch,
I had to rent the machine early on
too.
DeVito.
The rich kids had the race car rewinder.
Ortega, you must have been a rich kid.
That's fantastic.
Man.
Yeah, I remember like,
i going on a double date stopping at
the local like uh it was like a
seven eleven but it wasn't a seven eleven
and they rented out vcrs and tapes and
going on a double date to a girl's
house plugging it all into the tv and
watching a couple movies bless it ortega
lived in mexico mexico dog like
i didn't have that i was in mexico
when i had that like that's that's
basically what he's trying to get across
ortega probably had gray poupon and ate
the coveted vienna ice cream oh man
My grandma worked at K&B,
which nobody in here knows what it is.
It's a southern brand.
It's like a drugstore.
She would bring home K&B.
They were black and purple,
like purple was their K&B color.
We had purple ink pens all over the
house because she would just bring some
home from work and K&B ice cream.
Cambry branded ice cream.
Yes.
Dan Church says,
I remember the frustration I would have
when I was ready to watch a movie
and boom, the credits rolled.
It's like leaving a splash of milk in
the jug.
So annoying.
Yes.
Nothing pisses me off more than the splash
of milk in a jug.
And now I have a bowl of cereal
sitting there with a splash of milk on
it and not enough to wet it down.
And I can't get to the store to
get more.
Yeah, no,
my eight-year-old is famous for that at
this point.
Ortega's mom used to go to white people
garage sales and send the stuff she bought
from there.
White people had the best things.
Pull up, Mark.
That's...
Who would, what kind of people?
Sociopaths.
That's who.
Milk for cereal people?
They exist?
Sociopath.
That's like somebody who puts on their
sock and in a shoe and in a
sock and in a shoe.
That does not happen.
Like nobody does that.
What are you, sociopaths?
Sock, shoe, sock, shoe.
You just run around with one bare foot
while you put your, no, no.
Yeah,
because then you're all like side wicker,
right?
Like, you'd have to limp.
Yeah.
No, thank you.
It drives me bananas, dude.
Who would do that?
Ed says Meg is a milk first person.
The F she is.
No, she ain't.
Growing up, you had milk in a jug.
The Canadians had it in a bag.
So at school, for a while,
they took away our little milk cartons,
and then we got milk in a little
plastic bag with the little sharp straw
that you'd poke in there.
But as soon as we got those,
all we could think about was throwing it
across the room and see if we could
get it to explode when it hit the
wall, which never happened, by the way.
But that was our first thought.
It was like,
what if somebody throws it and it just
hits the wall?
It's going to explode.
It's going to be milk everywhere.
That's going to be terrible.
So I loved milk growing up, right?
Yeah.
I put on my pants just like everyone
else, both legs at the same time.
Growing up, I loved it.
I went through so much milk.
My mom and dad were like,
I don't know how we can keep supporting
your milk habit.
Yeah.
Then my dad lost his job and we
had to go stand in line for like
the government cheese and cheese.
Yes, sir.
And then they gave you a box of
powdered milk.
The ability to call that milk.
on the box should be questioned the
audacity to call that milk on the box
i went from milk addict to cold turkey
no milk at all because i i could
not even do the powdered milk going to
your friend's house you're like okay you
got some of that two percent man good
you need two percent i just need a
little bit
oh my gosh i am deleting you out
of my contacts man jesus christ drink milk
with ice what does matter with you uh
dan church says thailand serves soda in a
bag and weirdly it's delicious dan why do
you even know that what are you doing
in thailand you're like i'm gonna get a
coke in a bag
dan church or dan daniel arnson my parents
hated me my go-to snack was whole milk
potato chips and skittles yes together i
go through a gallon a day i used
to drink a lot of milk dude my
grandpa drank milk with dinner every day
every night you know what the weird thing
in that sentence is
Potato chips and Skittles just do not go
together.
At the same time.
I could do milk and chips.
I could do milk and Skittles.
But potato chips and Skittles?
That's just gross.
Mm-mm.
It's like hotels that call their breakfast
buffet powdered eggs.
Ugh.
Don't even get me started, Ken.
Don't even get me started.
And you can tell.
You can one hundred percent tell.
Like, just looking at them.
Like, yep, not eating them.
Mm-mm.
Taste the potato rainbow.
Oh, gosh.
Taste the potato rainbow.
Taste the potato rainbow.
Jesus H. Christ.
Chewy and crunchy.
And look,
I like salty and sweet at the same
time.
Like, I can do salty and sweet,
but I just cannot fathom having a bag
of Lay's.
Yeah.
I can't imagine having a bag of Lay's
and like, oh,
you know what would go good with these
potato chips?
Skittles.
At no point does that seem like a
good idea.
I can't get past the potato rainbow and
chewy and crunchy.
Exactly.
Exactly.
Nope.
Oh, Oh, no, I am not.
Okay.
No, I am not.
Uh,
david reed could only have skittles if we
went to the u.s canada was dark times
because we we're not we're okay with red
dye number five yellow dye number eleven
you know percent all of the things yeah
whatever dude that's why doug reed lives
in lives down the street from you right
now oh my gosh i am not
Red dye is greater than socialism.
Oh, good God.
Yes, that is fantastic.
I can't even breathe.
Oh, right.
I just hope they're regular potato chips
and not salt and vinegar.
Oh my God.
Yeah.
Salt and vinegar.
Good God, man.
Ah, yes.
Our disclaimer.
Yeah.
Just in case guys,
just in case y'all need it.
Oh, uh, where's the, uh,
clip it.
Scott's going to need another,
need the defibrillator.
You've got to send me back an AFib
with the potato rainbow.
Why is that tickling me so hard today?
That's fantastic.
Taste the potato rainbow.
I just can't stop.
With that, we got to go, man.
Yeah, I did.
It's over.
Take us out, Vicki.
Take us out.
You wouldn't wait to get to the editing
room to jazz me up.
I'm already jazzy.
From the gym to the screen, yeah,
we cover it all.
Midday motivation every time we press
call.
Lunch with the Glidesdale,
cowboy in the heat.
CrossFit, movies, music on repeat.
Half-hour hustle, yeah,
we're building that brand.
Grab a plate, shoot it,
now you're part of the fam.
In Jersey.
