on her way

a bit heavier
than she's used to.
It's kind of

an item runner
for various people,
but it's like
her least favorite

because not a lot

of fighting
to be had

So as,
as Sir Victrix
walks through
the depths
and muck
of the swamps
of the solitude
that surround
the city of Outset,
the first city
of the world
of Tyne
in the setting
of Rocksgrind,
she finds
a series
of stone
platforms
in the distance
and she knows
this because
she's traveled
to this location
before.
And upon
those stone
platforms
are several
rudimentary
structures,
mostly
like wood
and twine
based
buildings
and huts
and she
recognizes
this as
a kaibu,
a group
of the
wandering
nomadic folk
of the swamps
of the solitude
who never dwell
in one place
for too long
but they do
settle on these
stone platforms
and she
approaches them
and she
sees that
this area
is left
inhabited
from when
she was
last here
in fact.
Obviously
we haven't
quite switched
to a new
season
where they
would have
to move
their buildings.
How's
Sir Victrix
approaching this?
well she's
walking along
don't know
if anyone
else has
ever tried
to walk
on a peg
leg a long
long distance
without a
pack animal
or anything
to ride on
but it
probably plays
hell on your
knee or
what's left
of it.
So she's
probably limping
along at this
point and
just kinda
angrily or
perhaps maybe
not angrily
but more
frustratedly
looking around
for someone
to petition
for a spot
to sleep
for the night
because she's
had enough
of this
little trip

gotta keep

stone plinths
is a hooded

what appears to
be a rudimentary

hooded figure
turns and
quickly pats
the child
on the head
ushers them
off into
one of the
adjoining
tenements
and then
turns to
come towards

has seen this
individual before.

the Kaibu

sort of
raises a

they look
