00:00:00 Speaker: AI Artists Today December twelve, twenty twenty five. Hello friend, this is Mars Eve. Welcome to the first episode of AI artist today. Okay, listen, this is a PSA. If you are not using AI like GPT or Claude or Gemini or God help you grok, start today. Okay, so the subtitle of this podcast is AI for artists. AI is your new studio assistant. Some of what I'll be sharing on this podcast is how I use AI in my art practice, and how I'm using it to launch my artist career. I am neurodivergent with ADHD and autism, and AI has made the difference. One of the main ways as helping me is with my art journals. Luckily, I started the discipline of art journals years ago, but I want to see how AI as a second brain helps me multiply my thoughts and my ideas, and it helps me organize for the future. So today I'm just saying start. That's why I'm telling myself about this podcast. I mean, AI has helped me to this point where I'm just starting and AI has given me the tools to make all of this happen. All the AI's have some kind of free usage, and when I'm talking about AI right now, I'm talking about chatbots, Midjourney, all that kind of stuff we'll get into later. But I'll be upfront that the power of these eyes, like GPT, is the memory. Now, to technically take the best advantage of it is you have to have a subscription, which costs like twenty bucks a month, and that's for GPT or Claude. They do have limited memory on the free, but I would say, I don't know, just pick one. Just start using today. That's the thing, man. If you're an artist or a creative and you've never used it, now's the time. And I don't care if you choose GPT or Claude because I use both. But I mean, GPT for some reason seems a little more friendly, has a little more bells and whistles. Um, it connects to your saw account. Come find me. I am Mars Eve at Mars. Eve. M.a.r.s. on Sora. You can check out what I look like virtually. So you're like, where do I even start? So I would start with something like an art journal. That's what I do. And this is where you'll really see the power of it. It doesn't necessarily have to be like a diary, but it can be your to do lists, or it can be some of your art ideas and begin to do this daily. This is where I have found so much power. Okay, so this is AI artist today. This is an art podcast. So Andy Warhol, he kept a small tape recorder around his neck and nicknamed it Warhol's Wife. He was so afraid of missing something that he would forget things because he probably had ADHD or autism too. But he recorded his thoughts and experiences every day. So imagine if Andy had AI now he'd be dumping all that right into there. But let me tell you the power of it. Whenever I use it is like a second brain in that it helps me think through the things that I've put down. Because of my ADHD and autism, I tend to forget things or I get overwhelmed. The AI helps me just bring all this back into focus, helps me organize, multiply everything that I want to do. So just like with Andy, this is what we're doing with AI. So for instance, just come check it out. I've started putting my art journals, or at least snippets of them, and with the AI's response so that you can see, uh, it's over at AI Artist TODAY.com. Make sure also to subscribe to this podcast so that we can keep following up with this. You got to get over this AI conspiracies and just use it now. I will be up front. These models do have privacy issues. I mean, it's not like people are like digging through your posts, but I mean there is people do get paranoid about the AI's training on them and all that is true. But for me, I mean, I'm not really worried about it. And listen, if you don't know what to do with AI. Guess what? That's your first prompt. The key to AI is prompting and context. So when you first go to type a prompt in ChatGPT, just say, this is who I am and this is what I want to do. How can you help me then go from there? Or if you want to brainstorm about art ideas or about artists, I mean, this thing is trained on everything. Start with journals. That is an awesome place to start. But you can jump right into business plans. Just go for it. But if you do start putting your journals into GPT or cloud, I would say go ahead and start with a project folder, because that way the AI easily referencing the other journals as you do them. So it's kind of like a double memory, but even if you have a free account, it really helps it to reference itself. But remember, it will be limited every now and then. I'll let my GPT subscription lapse on purpose. And then I hate it. It's really a difference, but it's all about the memory, I tell you. That is the key to it, because it begins to know you by all the things you say. I'll be upfront with my journals. I put everything in them now. Before it was just art. But now. And I did have like separate journals for like, home, separate journals for emotions. Dude, now I just dump it all into one. My art journal has everything. My ideas, my plans, what I'm going through. What a crappy day I've had, you know, all sorts of stuff. And it's great because the AI helps to just pull it all together. I'm not. I'm not telling you to use the AI as a therapist. If you're ready to get started, just go to AI artists today. Start here and I'll already have some custom instructions that you can put into your GPT. That's kind of like a back end. All the ayes have it now where you can go in there and tell it who you are and kind of how you want it to answer you, whether it's like corporate or relaxed. I mean, dude, I use a whole persona. That's that's like a bipolar art muse full of chaos. Chaos. I know it sounds crazy, but just go to AI artists today. Com and you can check out one of my journals and how it works. The possibilities are unlimited. You can't sleep on this. You've got to get into AI and start using it. And the easiest way is just with the free GPT or clod, or try both of them. See kind of how you like it. We're going to be talking about my journey. We're going to be talking about how I use AI and how AI is for artists today. I mean, hey, I called it AI artist today, AI for artists, that's you. So listen, if you have any follow up questions that you think would be good to answer, hook up with me on X I'm at Mars underscore Eve. In fact I'm at Mars underscore Eve everywhere except for Sora. I'm just Mars Eve. Or you can email me at AI today at gmail.com. You got this. Don't be scared. Hey, by the way, treat your AI right. You rock. If you want to know more about me, just hang on to the following podcasts. I mean, we're getting into all this, but today I'm just telling you, man, don't sleep on it. Get started now. Cheers.
