Speaker 2:Metal crate.
Speaker 8:My number is (907) 635-5600.

Speaker 10:It goes with the TV. It makes things better
Speaker 4:Yeah.
Speaker 10:For $80. And last item would be a king-size bed for 50, and I believe it comes with the frame.

Speaker 2:The number to call is (360) 689-2709. And then earlier, we had that lady looking for a large metal crate for a large dog. If you got one of those that you're willing to part ways with, give her a call at (907) 635-5600. And then earlier, we had the gentleman looking for an escort at the scene. This is very important.
Speaker 2:He's rolling out on the sixteenth, so this is kind of a tight tight thing to get. So if you're wanting to help this gentleman out and escort him and be with him as he is getting surgery up in Anchorage, give him a call at (907) 209-7266. And then earlier, we had Steve trying to get ahold of Jerry who bought his dash camera. He's missing a part for that, so he wants to get it to you, Jerry. So give him a call at (907) 321-5569.
Speaker 2:And we got another call. Let's get one. Hi. Welcome to Problem Corner. You're live and on the air.
Speaker 11:Yes. Good morning, Problem Corner.
Speaker 2:Morning.
Speaker 7:Yeah. Calling in a birthday special birthday for my granddaughter, hurricane Maggie James. Today, she'll be 19 years old. Wow. From grumpy grandpa.
Speaker 2:Hi, grumpy grandpa. I've heard lots about you.
Speaker 9:Yes. This is for
Speaker 7:hurricane Maggie James.
Speaker 2:Maggie. Thank
Speaker 7:you for your program.
Speaker 2:No problem. Big happy birthday to Maggie from grumpy grandpa and from here at problem corner. And we got another call. Hi. You're live on Problem Corner.
Speaker 7:Yeah. I've got a set
Speaker 5:of of brims that are like new and and tires that are probably 75%, and they've got the sensors in them for a Jeep Patriot or a Jeep, you know, like, you know, one of the older Jeep Compasses that and, I like $200 for them for the set of four. Like I say, we never ran the rims in the wintertime, so they're they're really, like, new.
Speaker 11:Okay.
Speaker 5:Anyway, number is 2099240.
Speaker 2:209 say that last four numbers for me again.
Speaker 5:9240.
Speaker 2:9240. Alright. And you're asking $200 for the four rims and the tires?
Speaker 5:The whole set. Four rims, tires, sensors, the whole bit.
Speaker 2:Alright. Sounds like a great deal. We'll see if we could get those off your hands.
Speaker 9:Okay. Bye.
Speaker 2:Alright. Have a good one. Bye bye. Hi. Welcome to Problem Corner.
Speaker 2:You're live and on the air.
Speaker 6:Good morning.
Speaker 2:Good morning.
Speaker 9:I still have the o five Pathfinder.
Speaker 2:The o five.
Speaker 9:In great condition, but still needs a transmission.
Speaker 2:Right.
Speaker 9:Needs I'm looking for $4,000 of best offer, just no low balling.

Speaker 2:What's your good phone number for you?
Speaker 9:500-8041.
Speaker 2:500-8401?
Speaker 9:8041.
Speaker 2:8041. All right.
Speaker 12:All
Speaker 2:right. I'll shout that out over the air and see if we could get it off your hands.
Speaker 7:Thank you.
Speaker 2:No problem. You have a good one.
Speaker 7:Bye bye.
Speaker 2:Man, I don't know why I'm having such a trouble listening to phone numbers today, but they have a five Pathfinder, great cosmetic condition from what I remember them calling in with that in the past, asking $4,000 or best offer, (907) 500-8041 if you're interested in snagging that Pathfinder and you got the know how to put a new transmission in that. Alrighty. Let's see if we got any new emails. Yes. Another on the ABC News Feed.
Speaker 2:I did get an answer on that. I touched base with my engineer and we had a weirdness going on with our satellite feed, but it's all fixed now. It should be continuously updating now. I've already noticed that it is a lot different ABC News now. So yes, we got that all handled.
Speaker 2:So now it should be constantly updating itself and checking itself. So hope hopefully, we won't have those repeated ABC News breaks as well. A lot of different stuff going on here in the community. We have high school football going on this Friday over at Derek Kennedy Field. That game is gonna be kicking off at 7PM.
Speaker 2:We'll be broadcasting that live here on KINY. So definitely tune in for that. I have I try to make a correction on that because we are not broadcasting every away game this season. We just don't have the manpower to be able to do that at the moment. But every home game will be broadcasted on KINY.
Speaker 2:And then once we get closer towards the end of season, like regionals and state, then we will definitely broadcast those games. We'll find an announcer to send up north for state football and for our boys make it over there. Fingers crossed as always. So, yeah, definitely cheer on our Crimson Bears either in person or from afar by tuning in to KI and Y. You could tune and check out online or on the app if you're not near radio.
Speaker 2:So if you wanna check out that game, definitely do so. Also, I believe our JD Cross Country board our Cross Country team is headed to Ketchikan as well. So let's be cheering on our Crimson Bears this weekend for both cross country football and also volleyball is underway. So lots of different activities going on here in the capital city. And we got a call.
Speaker 2:Hi. Welcome to Problem Corner. You're live and on the air.
Speaker 6:Good morning.
Speaker 2:Morning.
Speaker 6:This is, grandma nine calling a happy birthday to hurricane Maggie. I hope she has the best day ever. Sure is a blessing to have her in our family. And shout out to grumpy grandpa and the rest of my children that live here in Juneau, and I have one in Sitka.
Speaker 2:Awesome.
Speaker 6:One in Sitka has two sets of twins. The first twins are 18, a boy and a girl, and the babies are two girls.
Speaker 2:Oh, wow.
Speaker 6:Shout out to them. And thank you for your program.
Speaker 2:Of course. Thank you for calling in and wishing Maggie a happy birthday. Old grandmas are wishing you a big nineteenth happy birthday today, Maggie. You also hear from Problem Corner. So hope you have a great day.
Speaker 2:And we do have another call. Hi. You're live on Problem Corner.
Speaker 11:Hello?
Speaker 2:Hello. You're live on the air.
Speaker 4:Yes. I still have my things for sale.
Speaker 7:Okay.
Speaker 4:Some people came by, and they cut some videos. So and then I still have my mongoose bike for sale for those that wanna get out and and and try it out. The only thing that needs to work on it is the front brakes, but back brakes real work very good. And so I don't tie up the phone too much with all my stuff. If you want to know more about what I have, call me at (907) 957-1673.
Speaker 2:Alrighty.
Speaker 4:And what are you talking about today?
Speaker 2:We kinda just jumped right on the phone calls. A lot of folks have been calling in, selling a bunch of different items today. I kinda kicked off the show just as a remembrance since today is 09:11. So, yeah, if anyone's got any folks that But yeah, it's nineeleven. I wonder Go ahead.
Speaker 2:Sorry.
Speaker 4:I they're having some memorials going on.
Speaker 2:Yeah. So they had they just had the one at Rotary Park. I was actually out there for that one. And before I had to come back to the studio and do a problem corner, that was a great turnout for that. Folks at JPD and Capitol City Fire Rescue were out there.
Speaker 2:We had Coast Guard members out there. And then, yeah, it was a great great turnout for that.
Speaker 4:That's cool.
Speaker 2:Yeah. So I'm sure there's gonna be a lot more different events going on, but I that's the only one I'm aware of that's happened today.
Speaker 4:Raining when you have a good day and still be out because even though it's overcast, at least it's not sprinkling.
Speaker 2:Oh, yes. I got I got pretty soggy out there at Rotary Park just a couple hours ago, so I'm glad it's finally lined up a bit.
Speaker 4:Yeah. It's usually it's usually usually rains in in town and sunny in the valley. Mhmm. I don't know why.
Speaker 2:It's weird. It's weird how our weather breaks up like that, isn't it?
Speaker 4:Yeah. Yeah. You want sunshine? Go to the valley.
Speaker 2:Always feel like downtown's got the most sunshine or sometimes, like, it'll be raining out in the valley and then be kinda clear out here and, yeah, vice versa. It's always flip flopping.
Speaker 4:Okay. Well, you have a nice nice day.
Speaker 2:You as well, mister. Appreciate your call as always.
Speaker 4:Bye bye.
Speaker 2:Alright. Bye bye. Alright. My good man, the movie guy. I should get his name, but I like the nickname movie guy.
Speaker 2:So sorry, mister. I'm kinda labeled you with the nickname that you might not like. So he's got a lot of items for sale. He's got some movies, bunch of different stuff. He's got a mongoose bike.
Speaker 2:The only thing that's wrong with it that he said is the front brake, which is a very easy fix. We have lots of knowledgeable bike shops here in town that can easily fix that up for you. So to reach him is to call (907) 957-1673. And we got another call. Hi.
Speaker 2:You're live on Problem Corner.
Speaker 12:Yes. Good morning. I have two electric radio control airplanes for sale. One's a fifth or, excuse me, fifth scale, Sopricub, and the other is a quarter scale Sopricub triplane with sound for the motor and the machine guns.
Speaker 2:Oh, wow. That's that's intense.
Speaker 12:And the the Cub is clipped wing, so I clipped it from 90 inch to 80 inch, and it's got nav lights, alternating landing lights, and a strobe light. And the it's got six inch ton inflatable Tundra tires.
Speaker 2:Okay. I I kinda ran out of room on my piece of paper. So is it alright if I kinda advertise as two radio controlled airplanes if people are interested in those, or should I write down
Speaker 6:the Yes.
Speaker 12:That'd be fine.
Speaker 3:Yeah.
Speaker 12:What's the (907) 723-8860.
Speaker 2:8860. How much were you looking to sell us for?
Speaker 11:I'd like to get about 500 for them, both.
Speaker 12:And there's also a eight channel radio.
Speaker 2:Eight channel radio.
Speaker 12:That's a spectrum radio.
Speaker 2:Okay.
Speaker 12:The transmitter.
Speaker 2:Oh, gotcha. Alright. I will shout that out over the airways and see if I could get those off your hands.
Speaker 12:Okay. Thank you very much.
Speaker 2:No problem. Thanks for calling in with those.
Speaker 12:Thank you.
Speaker 9:Bye bye.
Speaker 2:Bye bye. Oh, those those sounded like some pretty fancy schmancy control radio controlled airplanes. I know there's quite the market for those here in town. I see those a lot and a lot of enthusiasts or hobbyists about the remote control aircrafts or even land crafts, whatever it may be, this might be the thing to add to your collection. So the number to reach him is (907) 723-8860.
Speaker 2:Yeah. Lots of different calls of being stuff being sold today. So let me go through those real quick before we have to take a quick commercial break. Our first call of the day was Steve trying to get ahold of Jerry, who he sold his four ks dashcam to, who's missing a mount, I believe. So Jerry, if you're listening, give Steve a call at (907) 321-5569.
Speaker 2:And of course we had our gentleman that is in desperate need of an escort to be able to go up to Anchorage to get heart surgery. Room and board is all covered for you to get up there. So he just needs an escort to accompany him. And that's always a tough one because a lot of those kind of surgeries require you to have, like, that's exactly why he needs someone because that's quite the extensive surgery, especially on your heart. So he needs someone to be able to stand by him on that trip.
Speaker 2:To reach him is (907) 209-7266. And then we had that person looking for a large dog metal crate. Yes. Dog crate training is always a tough time, but once they kinda figure out how to settle down themselves and self soothe, that that makes life a little easier. So if you got a large dog crate that's sitting around and you have no need for it anymore, give them a call at (907) 635-5600.
Speaker 2:And then we had the person with the view TV a couple TVs and a soundbar and a bed. He's got a VIZIO 50 inch TV and a Samsung 40 inch TV as well as a VIZIO soundbar and then the king-size bed with frame. You're If interested in any of those items, give them a call at (360) 689-2709. Also, I had a couple birthday shout outs for hurricane Maggie, both from grandma and grandpa for a big happy birthday, nineteenth year. Holy cow.
Speaker 2:I remember when I turned 19. It was definitely a good time. Rim and also we had someone with a few set of rims and tires for like a Jeep Patriot Compass asking $200 for the full set. If you're interested in those, give them a call at (907) 209-9240. And then we had the five Pathfinder, great cosmetic condition, just needs a new transmission.
Speaker 2:They're asking $4,000 or best offer. If you're interested in that, give them a call at 907508041. Alright. It's 11:30. We'll be back with more problem corner here on KINY.

Tomorrow is gonna be me and Kenny Sullivan Gross main in the show. And, yeah, whatever you guys wanna talk about tomorrow, call, sell, trade, whatever it may be, definitely give us a ring and hopefully me and Kenny will come up with a fun topic, maybe do some movie trivia, give away some movie tickets.
Speaker 2:What's crazy, was talking about my talking this with my brother and I was even talking about it with Kenny too, is that we got demon if you're an anime fan, we got Demon Slayer playing at Glacier Cinemas, which is pretty cool. It's such a it's really cool when we get those kind of movies here in town. I know we got quite the following of those kind of animes here in town. So definitely go check that movie out if you're a fan. Looking we had a lot of stuff being called in to be sold today, but if you guys have a topic you wanna cover, definitely feel free to give me a call and we could chitchat about it.
Speaker 2:No new emails yet. Let's see what kinda happened yesterday. Not much. So a little bit I know the news already kinda covered it about Charlie Kirk, but that is definitely such a shame that he was killed. And yeah, I don't wanna go too far into depth with that story because I'm sure national news is definitely hammering it already.
Speaker 2:So yeah, it's wild. It just, it saddens a lot of folks. And if you're familiar with Charlie Kirk, he's all over social media. Not everyone agrees with his point of view, but he definitely is a strong spoken person. So if you had the chance to ever watch any of his videos, sometimes it does get your brain working a little bit.
Speaker 2:And we do have a call already. Hi. Welcome to Problem Corner. You're live and on the air.
Speaker 12:Yeah. I got a few items. So I have a bike, woman's bike. It's like a 26 inch, and it comes with a bike trailer that folds up and collapses. And it's got quick release wheels.

Speaker 2:4607. Yeah. Alrighty. I'll see if I can get those stuff off your hands.
Speaker 7:Alright. Have a good day.
Speaker 2:No problem. You as well.
Speaker 9:Okay.
Speaker 2:Bye bye. Alright. That gentleman's got a women's bike for sale, which seems like it's got all the bells and whistles with it, as well as a dual sport Suzuki with a brand new battery. If you're interested in any of those items, give them a call at 907504607. We do have another call.
Speaker 2:Hi. You're live on Problem Corner.
Speaker 9:Yeah. I get a morning there, Justin.
Speaker 2:Oh, how are you doing today?
Speaker 9:Well, I'm I'm okay, but I'm kind of perplexed about this Charlie Kirk fellow and being active in Macy Gray, but I feel so in the dark, I never heard of a person before.
Speaker 2:Yeah. He was I've I it took me a while to register that too, who he was. But after I pulled up his face, I was like, oh, he's he's kind of not a political activist, but he's definitely he goes up to a lot of these kinda seminars almost, and he does these kinda talks. It's very wide ring and just very yeah. I've only seen a few
Speaker 9:clips of him. Yeah. I I saw that, but I don't know how you know, they interrupted all the channels yesterday Mhmm. For breaking news, and it lasted over an hour on all the networks. Mhmm.
Speaker 9:Every one of them, ABC, CBS, and Fox, NBC, you know, all the network champs. I could not believe it. I'm like you know? And now Trump has ordered the flag to be flown at half stamp
Speaker 7:with this
Speaker 9:fellow, but he didn't say a doggone word about 09:11.
Speaker 2:Oh, wow.
Speaker 9:And he knew it was gonna overlap.
Speaker 2:Mhmm.
Speaker 9:But, you know, I don't know. I'll never forget the bravery I witnessed that day. Now that went down at 05:45AM Alaska time, and I was up that but the bravery I saw for the men and women of the fire squadron. And then the police, both NYPD and the metro police, and the even the pilot police, you know, the river for the subways and stuff, they were they all went into those buildings. People were racing out of there and being carried out of there.
Speaker 9:They were going out, and those young men and women and some of them not too young at all
Speaker 2:Right.
Speaker 9:Were going in just to do what they could. And, you know, three hundred and forty three of those lives didn't come out. And that's a number that were lived with me for infancy in my work. Three forty three. And whenever I see a fire truck, I'll throw three fingers up, then four fingers, then three fingers.
Speaker 9:And they get it. They know who's scratching the b 43 at them. But, Justin
Speaker 7:Yeah.
Speaker 9:I hope we never have to witness it again. Yes. And you'll have a good day of remembrance, you know, and just batten down the hatches because that war in The Middle East is spreading, and it's kinda spooky. But I appreciate you showing your program, honey.
Speaker 2:I appreciate you calling in. I always look forward to when you call in during the program and you and I have these chats.
Speaker 9:Yeah. I'm sorry. Sometimes I'm the radio.
Speaker 2:Oh, that's Oh, no. You're fine.
Speaker 9:I'm off the I'm getting off the air so I don't get the wrath of yeah. Him. Okay, Justin. You have a pleasant day.
Speaker 2:You as well.
Speaker 9:Okay, bye.
Speaker 2:All right, bye bye. Yes, I'm glad that she called and had a little nineeleven memorial words to say and yeah, three forty three. And yeah, I always, I'm really going to show my age right now, but I can't even remember what I was doing, where I was at in nineeleven. So that kind of shows my age a little bit, but yes, I I will never forget. And we do have another call.
Speaker 2:Hi. Welcome to Problem Corner. You're live and on the air.
Speaker 7:Hi. This is Mel.
Speaker 2:Hey, Mel. How's it going?
Speaker 7:Pretty good. I gotta shut one radio off here. Okay. 09:11, I was up in the Anchorage Medical Center
Speaker 9:Mhmm. For
Speaker 7:a procedure, and I was in a room doing my hygiene. And my roommate said, Mel, get out here. I said, I'm almost done. He says, get out here now. And I I went out, and the TV was on.
Speaker 7:And it it was very horrific. And I being very graphic when the planes hit the towers and rather than burn alive, and this is reality, they we had jumpers.
Speaker 2:Right.
Speaker 7:It was hard to watch. You know? And I I believe in just telling it like it is. But as I went through the appointments, Everybody was in a state of shock.
Speaker 2:Yeah. I can imagine.
Speaker 7:And one guy one medical person said, gee. I don't know, Mel. We you need a follow-up, but we're all booked up. I and I looked at him and said, there's no planes flying today. He said, oh oh, okay.
Speaker 7:So it's it's kinda like everybody just being shook up, and we had a a big memorial out on the lawn. It was sort of a nice day like it was in New York. Mhmm. And we we we it it went on for half an hour. Oh, wow.
Speaker 7:This is pretty heavy. And I I knew where I was, and we sorta all come together. And, real quick about, upcoming politician, it don't matter the party.
Speaker 5:Charles Kirk,
Speaker 7:they said he was an upcoming, highly intelligent, family with kids, and it puts a face on it. And we need to come together again and quit squabbling. And the the president spoke like he should have. Mhmm. Now we all need to come together because this person is fell loose.
Speaker 7:That's all I got today. I I don't wanna take up too much of your time. Thank you.
Speaker 2:I appreciate calling in, especially telling your story where you're at during the 09:11 news. And that's pretty wild to think about that you were in a that you were at a hospital when that happened. And so I'm sure all the hospital staff probably felt just the same for New York staff. I can't imagine what the hospitals were like in New York during that time.
Speaker 7:Yes.
Speaker 2:But Mel, I do appreciate and calling sharing your words. And I hope you have a great rest of your day, and this is a day in remembrance for those folks.
Speaker 7:For sure. Like I said, I I'm very patriotic. Passionate, and we we just need to think now about where we're going, and we have to figure out how to come together as a people. It it stole the people's government. Thank you for your time.
Speaker 2:Of course, Mel. I appreciate you calling in. It's always good to hear from Mel. He's always got some words to share with us, and I like that he shared a story where he was at when 09:11 went down. So I greatly appreciate him.
Speaker 2:Yes, it's crazy to think about, like with Charlie Kirk yesterday, he was not much older than me. He was born in 'ninety three. So he was in his like 31. Yeah, so it's crazy to think that a young man, young family man, and just a political activist lost his life due to hate towards him. So yeah, I hope the best for his family and all that.
Speaker 2:And I hope folks that were in attendance or seeing that are safe as well. It looks like it's time to take a quick commercial break before we wrap up the program. We'll be back with more Problem Corner here on

Speaker 2:And welcome back to problem corner. I'm Jess Miller coming at you from the Goebel Tram studio, and I just got Greg Knight here in the studio from News of the North. Hey. Good morning. Good morning, Greg.
Speaker 21:It's been a morning. We you were out there with us this morning at the Riverside Rotary Park event. It was it was great.
Speaker 2:It was a great event. I'm kinda bummed that now the weather's kinda lighting up after the fact.
Speaker 21:But I know. When I left the house this morning, it was pouring rain. I'm like, please, God, let let it ease up just a bit. And it did. And the flag came out and it kind of just drizzled a little bit.
Speaker 21:It was better than a hardcore rain.
Speaker 2:That's true.
Speaker 21:And today, this whole week, man, it's been a testing week and it's only Thursday.
Speaker 2:I know. We still have a weekend left and hopefully the weather permits or holds throughout the weekend.
Speaker 21:I hope it does. But for for today, today, like I heard you on the the last segment, today is a day of remembrance.
Speaker 2:It is.
Speaker 21:For for not just 09:11, but also, like you mentioned, for Charlie Kirk. Regardless of of your politics, the fact that a political assassination can happen in this day and age Right. In America, I mean, it makes me personally being being a man of faith, I wanna get down on our knees and pray for better times. Mhmm. And I really hope that an object lesson can come from this, that people you're never gonna solve anything by violence.
Speaker 21:No. Whether it's taking down the Twin Towers or taking down a political pundit. Right. So we all need to remember and never forget. I mean, I know you're young.
Speaker 21:You were you're 27, I believe. Yes. And so you were just a tyke I was. On 09/11. I I definitely remember that day.
Speaker 21:And I guess with the couple minutes we have left, maybe somebody can call in. But I was in San Francisco that day, and, the plane that crashed in Pennsylvania was headed to San Francisco. Wow. And, I'll never forget that, of all places, San Francisco was locked down. There was military everywhere.
Speaker 21:You couldn't catch a city bus. It was just mayhem. And, you know, I'll never forget. And I hope the folks that were around then never forget that day. And next year is gonna be a quarter century.
Speaker 2:That's
Speaker 21:crazy. So next year is gonna be a big one, but I hope people never forget.
Speaker 2:Yeah. We can never forget. And it looks like we do have a call, so let's get on one. Hi. Welcome to Problem Corner.
Speaker 2:You're live and on the air.
Speaker 3:Hey. What's up, Buttercup?
Speaker 2:Oh, not much, mister. How you doing?
Speaker 3:Oh, just geeky. Hey. And just a quick shout out to Hurricane Maggie. Happy birthday. 19.
Speaker 3:Huge. When does time go?
Speaker 2:I know.
Speaker 3:Hey. Holy fuck it dude, Batman. That's time's going by too fast. Happy birthday, Hurricane Maggie. Okay.
Speaker 3:Thank you for coming back to Philly B. Bye.
Speaker 2:Bye bye. Another big birthday shout out to Hurricane Maggie from grandma grandpa.
Speaker 21:Happy birthday.
Speaker 2:And then just from that gentleman there, I believe your name is Tucker. I don't wanna throw your name. Happy birthday. I don't wanna throw your first name out there, mister. But, yes, big happy birthday from lots of friends and family.
Speaker 2:So, yeah, it's crazy to think that you were in San Francisco Yeah. During all that
Speaker 12:Yeah.
Speaker 21:Was working for Ralph Nader, if you can believe that.
Speaker 2:Oh, wow.
Speaker 21:I was working for Ralph Nader's post presidential political group and working for the Green Party.
Speaker 2:Okay.
Speaker 21:If you can believe that.
Speaker 10:It's crazy.
Speaker 21:And, yeah, it it my my roommate came out of the came came to the bathroom door, knocked on the bathroom door and said, get out of the shower.
Speaker 4:We're at war.
Speaker 21:I'm like, what?
Speaker 2:Oh, gosh.
Speaker 21:And we got out of the shower, and by that time, the the second plane had hit. Wow. And then it was like, okay, that's not an accident.
Speaker 2:No. No. Yeah. I'm glad I wasn't cognitively aware yet at that point in my life, but I kind of wish I was more like I could look back and then remember
Speaker 21:was what
Speaker 1:was.
Speaker 21:Was It's traumatic for all of I happen to have a few good friends that were from New York City that were actually on the bridge. Have you ever seen that that that enigmatic picture of tens of thousands of people crossing the bridge as the after the buildings had fallen? One of my friends was in that photo on that Bridge during that mass exodus from Manhattan Lower Manhattan. Holy cow. And so I can I couldn't even begin to understand the trauma of that day for them, much less the trauma for the rest of us?
Speaker 21:It doesn't match up.
Speaker 2:Yeah. Especially for all New Yorkers. Like everyone was like, are we safe? Or what's happening?
Speaker 21:Even if you weren't in New York, if you were from New York, it meant something to you.
Speaker 2:It didn't. So yeah, I was trying to get some folks that I know we got a lot of transplants here in Juneau, so I'm sure there's got to be someone here living in Juneau now that was either living in New York City or New York when that went down.
Speaker 21:And and much kudos yesterday to to Grace putting together that story of that young lady out of the Kenai Peninsula who was actually at Utah Valley University yesterday when Charlie Kirk was killed.
Speaker 3:Oh,
Speaker 21:wow. Yeah. We we came across her. It was a it was a lucky break to get a a story from her. But, yeah, kudos to her for being so strong and and and battling through that moment.
Speaker 2:Right. And we do have another call. Hi. Welcome to problem corner. You're live and on the air.
Speaker 11:Yeah. Good morning, problem Corner. I got good news about the bridge. The city put up a ordinance of on the food No camping, no loitering, no sleeping, no dumping. So that's good news.
Speaker 11:Nobody belongs under anymore. So I thought I'd just pass it along.
Speaker 2:Awesome. Well, I'm glad he called
Speaker 11:you could be under there.
Speaker 2:Yes. Let's So Let's make sure folks are not hanging around there, dumping, camping out, making sure that that area is safe and clean.
Speaker 11:Well, I hope that solves the problem, but guy's still on the loose. I'm not sure about it. He won't be under there doing what they were doing. So thank you, sir.
Speaker 2:Of course. And thank you for making that aware and bringing us to our attention. And we do have another call. Hi. Welcome to Problem Corner.
Speaker 2:You're live and on the air. Yes.
Speaker 8:I called a little bit ago about some kittens. I had four. I'm down to one. You know, they're ready to go.
Speaker 9:They're trained. They eat. Yes. Anyways, I'm down
Speaker 8:to one, and there's this girl that was supposed to come and get the other one. I'm not quite sure who she is but her cat is ready. I stay out here at Coho. My number is 419-8420 if you have any questions. And, you know, if the mom is listening, you know, they were supposed to come and get the kitten a while ago.
Speaker 8:It's ready. And thanks for your program.
Speaker 2:Of course. Thank you for calling in. And so what's what's oh, I lost you. I was wondering about it. I asked you what kind of cats you got, but they do got so one kitten still looking for a home.
Speaker 2:And then if you were in contact with her about getting a kitten. I guess you reached out to her a while ago and stuff. You had to snag that kitten. Give her a call at (907) 419-8420. And then we have a couple more minutes left of the program.
Speaker 2:So I'm gonna go back and re echo some of the stuff that folks have called in to try to get sold. So first call of the day was from Steve who sold his four k dashcam to someone named Jerry. I guess you're missing a piece to that, so he wants to get that to you. If you give him a call at (907) 321-5569, he'll love to get that missing bit to you. Also, still have that gentleman in deep need of getting an escort or just kind of a partner for traveling up to Anchorage for surgery, because yeah, he's getting heart surgery and that's quite the extensive kind of surgery to have on yourself.
Speaker 2:So he needs to have someone on his side. If you could give him a call at (907) 209-7266, that'll be greatly appreciated. Also, have someone looking for a large metal dog crate. If you got any of those sitting around that you don't have a need for anymore, give her a call at 907209 oh, nope. That's the last number I was looking at.
Speaker 2:Large Metal Crate, 9076355600. And then we had the person with the multiple TV stuff and accessories, Vizio 50 inch, $80, a Samsung 40 inch for 50, a Vizio soundbar for 80, and he's got a king-size bed with frame asking $50. If you're interested in any of those items, give them a call at (360) 689-2709. Also, we had quite a few birthday shout outs for hurricane Maggie from grandma grandpa and grumpy grandpa and as well as a family friend. Happy nineteenth birthday.
Speaker 2:Also, had rims like new set of four for a Jeep Patriarch or a Compass. It's asking $200 for the rims and tires. If you're interested in those, give them a call at (907) 209-9240. And then we had the o five Pathfinder needs a new transmission but cosmetically clean, asking $4,000 for best offer. The number to reach is (907) 500-8041.
Speaker 2:And then we had the movie guy with still movies for sale and some items for sale. He's got a Mongoose bike. If you're interested in any of those, give him a call at (907) 957-1673. And then we had the gentleman with the two radio controlled airplanes. Pretty fancy, fancy stuff.
Speaker 2:He's asking $500 for those. The number to call is (907) 723-8860. And then the last item for sale that we got a call on was a woman's bike and then the dual sport Suzuki bike with a new battery. The number to reach is 907504607. And then we got the kittens looking for a new home.
Speaker 2:(907) 419-8420. It's already 12:00. I I spent the last couple of minutes reiterating all that stuff. So definitely join me and Kenny Gross tomorrow here on Problem Corner. We'll try to end the week on a good note.
Speaker 2:Hope you guys have a great rest of your day. And remember, we never forget on 09:11 on this day. I'm Justin Miller, and I'll catch you guys next time on KINY.
