James Dooley: Online reputation management for your AI resume book review. Today I'm joined with Paul Truscott and we're going to be talking about the book which is talking about ORM and managing and controlling what AI, Google and the LLMs are saying exactly about you. Paul, I want to jump straight in and throw you in the deep end and say, why is it important to control your own narrative about what LLMs are saying about you personally?

Paul Truscott: It's absolutely vital, James, because at the end of the day, if you don't control it, somebody else is going to control it. Okay? Could be your competitors. It could be an angry customer. Look, you c- you can't please everybody all of the time. So, some negativity is going to creep into the net. And very often, especially if it's testimonial or review based, people are only driven to leave a, a review or testimonial when they've had a bad experience. Unfortunately, when people have had a good experience, they will often just think, "Oh, yeah, that was great." But they don't actually tell anybody. They might tell their friends, but they don't tell anyone online, which is a shame. Um, so it's important that you, A, monitor it. Make sure you understand when you Google, whether it's your personal brand or whether it's your business brand. Um, to monitor both of those to see what is being said about you, you know. And what's important now is to not just look at the first page of Google because typically in the past everyone's just going to look at the first page of Google and they're going to say, "Okay, everything's good because the first 10 links on Google, it's all, it's all good. I'm, it's just good reviews. It's just good things being said." But, and the LLMs and Google's AI, or Gemini, which is what's responsible for the AI Overviews and AI Mode, are going much, much deeper than that. You know, they're looking at pages that humans don't look at. So, you've got to look a little bit deeper, uh, um, at, and also look at the, uh, credibility of the sources. So, just try and get good, um, good reviews, good testimonials, and good coverage of you from a, you know, um, a good perspective on as many, um, high-profile sources as you can. Really, that's the key.

James Dooley: Yeah, for sure.
