Now, the one critique I do have to give her, given that she is new, she may not be as familiar with open meetings law.

She invites everybody to the Bartlett House afterwards, and I don't believe that was advertised.

It really should be advertised in the fact that there are more than three aldermen going to that event.

And from what I heard, there were more than three aldermen, at which point that address and location is considered a separate meeting or a continuation of this meeting, and it has to be open to the public.

It could be a private event, which I heard it was a private event.

I'm sure they weren't turning people away, but at the same time, a little violation of open meetings law.
