Brittany (00:09)
It's been a struggle.
Destiny (00:10)
It ain't been that bad. Well, I don't know what she had going on behind the scenes.
Brittany (00:10)
But your girl is here. Listen, Deuce has been on a thousand, but nonetheless, we are here. Okay.
Destiny (00:19)
Like I was telling Brittany before I ca got on here, I was mil making my meal prep for the week. hey y'all.
Brittany (00:27)
I was like, she didn't do the introduction. She just was like, before we got on here, we only 20 seconds in.
Destiny (00:32)
My bad, y'all. And we back. And we back. And we back and we back and we back. We are back with another episode of the You're Done Podcast. It's your girl, Big Death, not the little one.
Brittany (00:40)
Hey
And be more, nevertheless.
Destiny (00:50)
Now back to what I was saying. So I was I was meal prepping and so you know you gotta clean as you go. So I'm getting under the sink to get the soap to clean the pot or whatever I was using. And I'm like, it's hella water down here. Girl, mind you, this house is what four Nova Four, four months. This house is about five months old. Wha w what why are we having problems? So
Brittany (00:57)
Yes.
Mm-hmm.
Yeah.
Don't think it's getting up.
Destiny (01:17)
It was irritating and then I had to we have somewhere to go after this. Supposed to be there at four. Clearly not gonna be there at four, but so I'm getting over ready. She crying. She has learned a new trick. She the little bouncer thing you sit in. baby, she's crawling out of it now. So strap your baby in. Slide it on out. Right. So it was just a whole lot going on in the home's household. So I got me some tea today.
Brittany (01:30)
Yes. Slide out of it. Right. She went to slide up out of there.
Yes, listen, and I ⁓
Destiny (01:45)
'Cause my day ain't over after the but at least my meal prep for the week is done.
Brittany (01:50)
Yeah, I didn't get any of that done today. as y'all know, we are kind of Destiny and I are not like I'm a procrastinator, but I'm not I'm not like a get it done the night before procrastinator. I'm like a procrastinator's like, I got a lot of time. But I'm also like a crazy planner. And I'm so crazy that I don't just say when I want to get stuff done. I'll put on my calendar when to start getting it done so that it's actually done by the due date. Well
Destiny (02:16)
Yeah.
Brittany (02:17)
You know, mom of three, first time mom. So we we're getting back in the groove of things and I was like, we ain't got nothing planned. Half the time I be forgetting that we're even supposed to be recording. So I spent all day yesterday trying to get our schedule back on track so we can figure out what we want to talk about and then invite guests so we know when we're actually set to record. And of course y'all know when birthdays come around, when holidays come around. You never define us talking to y'all. We love y'all.
But I'm not getting on here to chit chat with you, okay? I I need some me time. So I did that yesterday. And then I don't know what deuce is on. Like we haven't breastfed in months. And when I say homeboy almost ripped my shirt off today, I say, wait a minute. First off, no is a full sentence. Need you to learn that now. You're not just fit to be attacking me like that, bro.
Destiny (02:48)
And not
Well he'd want to.
You're done.
Right.
Brittany (03:13)
So I don't know what that was about, but he kinda just been like more clingy than usual. So that came with his struggles today. And I promised Bree, if anybody else got a husband that's into 2K, I already promised him that I would leave him alone for a few days. Well his days is dwindling down. Okay. And that baby about to be back with him because when I say I've been going through the trenches trying to give him this time on this game, it's over.
Destiny (03:22)
My girl.
Right.
Brittany (03:40)
Your time is up. He better play when he sleep. Right.
Destiny (03:42)
You're done. Right. Play at night. At least he's sleeping. Nova. Look, anyways, child, if I get irritated. She has not been going to sleep. She don't want to stay asleep at night no more. Anyways, y'all did not come here to hear our baby horror stories. Horror stories. I can't even say it. We are back, y'all. We are back with another episode. And
Brittany (03:51)
Yeah. No for real.
Right. Yeah, yeah, but yep, yep, yep.
Destiny (04:06)
Brittany said the top again, Brittany's on it with the topics this season. She's been picking them a lot more.
Brittany (04:11)
listen, the Lord just been coming through you, girl. Okay. I can't put it all on me because sometimes I just be listening to stuff or things go on and I just be like, my God. I like I would, I think my biggest thing when I come up with the topics is like I have a thought process. And then I'm just like, I wonder if anybody else thinks that. Or I want to talk it out with somebody. And I'm like, this is the perfect place for me and my sister to talk these things out. I could call, nah, if it's a big thing, I'm gonna just call her.
Destiny (04:16)
I'm
Brittany (04:39)
Y'all don't need to know everything, but y'all know enough. Okay. And so with us both, which kind of goes right into the topic, ironically, the topic is strong, independent, black woman. Okay. Because now that your girl, I've been married 12 years. I am still learning how to like what they say, like be in my femininity and be strong as in myself. Yeah, my soft girl era, but also like, hmm.
Destiny (04:41)
Right.
Mm-hmm. The software era.
Brittany (05:08)
He got it. Like letting my husband and I feel like even though the topic is like independent and you're thinking we're sub we're gonna get on here saying, I'm doing everything on my own, that's really not what this is. The idea is that I'm actually trying to drop this whole like strong black woman persona and say that I can still be all of those things. I can still be strong.
Destiny (05:09)
Yeah.
Brittany (05:30)
I can still be independent. I'm always gonna be black and I'm forever gonna be a woman. Okay. But once now that I'm in my marriage, I'm learning, still learning how to drop things that allows my husband to be who he is called to be in this marriage as the man of this household. And then also step in as needed and not feeling like I'm just this person like behind the scenes, if that makes sense.
Destiny (05:33)
Right.
Brittany (05:59)
And I feel like growing up, I didn't really know how to navigate the two because we have spoken out here very openly that we didn't come from a place where we watched a very healthy household. We don't have a lot of women that are married where we could see that husband and wife dynamic up front and say, my gosh, that's something to aspire to. Like I don't get to walk around and say, my God, I want to be just like my grandparents. They loved each other until the end of time. Girl.
Destiny (06:27)
And they've been married for fifty-seven years. No.
Brittany (06:30)
Shh, girl, Beatrice was solo dolo.
Destiny (06:32)
Baby. But when she did have a man, they loved her down.
Brittany (06:36)
Right Listen, she did a thing. And so I feel like we're I think my mom did what she could and I think my dad as well because he didn't really know either. And so even in him teaching us things, it was stuff like he would teach us how to hang up curtains. Like we watched him do things because he was just like, You at least need to know how to do it. He didn't say I had to. He just was like, What if I'm not around?
Destiny (07:00)
Mm-hmm.
Brittany (07:01)
Like these are things you should know how to do. Or if you don't have anyone, you should know it. So I think without him really thinking about it, he kind of instilled this thing in me that now Brie be like, I can't believe you up there. If you saw my story, you saw me dancing on my on my desk. I'm about to put them curtains up, shoddy. But he came in here and you know, he just be like, Don't do it. I got it. And I I I struggle to this day, I still struggle with being like hands off, Bri.
Destiny (07:18)
Yeah.
Brittany (07:28)
Sit down somewhere. And I can't do it.
Destiny (07:30)
Think, I think I struggle with that a little bit too. And like back going back to what you said about, like, okay, the thing is, I'm not confused as to what the roles are. I know what it is that my husband's supposed to be doing, I know what it is that I'm supposed to be doing, and biblically, you know, it's all laid out for us. But like you said, before I was married, I had to do it all by myself. And even when I was like dating or whatever.
Brittany (07:41)
Yeah.
Yeah.
Hang.
Destiny (07:57)
Baby, and and and to be not to I'm not a I hate all men type of woman at all. There are great men out there. Look, we we we snagged a few of But what I'm gonna say is I'm talking about a few of just two.
Brittany (08:09)
We snag too and they off the market.
Destiny (08:12)
This to. But what I'm saying is, it's they always saying, be your in your soft girl era, do this, do that. But baby, I ask, I'm not gonna say the specifics, but it's just one thing that just comes up and it just it it makes my screen, my skin crawl. Cause like, what do you mean you don't know how to do that? Anyway, but if I ask you to do something and days go by and it ain't done.
Baby, I'm getting on YouTube, I'm figuring it out, and I'm just gonna do it. And don't ask me for nothing because you have one job.
Brittany (08:45)
It ain't coming.
Destiny (08:46)
Yeah, one job. And so experiencing that, I was like, I never want to get in a position to where I can't do anything for myself. Granted, now being married, if I ask Corey to do something, even if he don't do it right then and there, he'll tell me I'm not gonna do it right now, but I I'm gonna do it. You know, and he'll tell me when he's gonna do it and he he gets it done. But I have to allow myself to even if he don't do it right then and there, be like Destiny just li he said he was gonna do it. Relax.
Brittany (08:47)
Yeah.
Destiny (09:11)
That's the d that's that's probably my problem right there. I don't mind being in a soft girl era. I just don't know how to relax. I don't know how to just be like, everything I gotta get done right now. I think that's my problem. I don't mind letting someone do it for me. I just rather do it myself because it's gonna get done now in the way I wanna do it.
Brittany (09:19)
Mm-hmm.
That hit the problem.
As long as you do it now.
Destiny (09:33)
That's probably my problem. And I don't know if I just solved the case to the topic already and we only ten minutes in. But I think that's my problem. And so I'm trying
Brittany (09:39)
Yes.
No, you didn't solve it. All right, Scooby Doo.
Destiny (09:44)
I done solved the case. Because I did it did take me a while to understand it fully though. Like I okay, I just cracked the code now. But like let's go before this episode, right? How I was handling letting my husband be the husband, my and I be the wife.
Brittany (09:45)
Okay.
Yeah.
Destiny (09:59)
Yeah, it especially in the beginning. It was it's it's hard. I feel like like you have to like Brittany says, she's been married twelve years. You kinda almost have to train your mind of being like you're not in sub survival mode anymore. I guess. Like it's okay to allow someone to take care of you. It's okay to not always have it figured out all the time.
Brittany (10:12)
Yeah.
Yeah.
Destiny (10:22)
But like I said, doors ain't raising a child that figure it out. And if you ain't figured it out, you need to be working on plan B because look, it's you just you just gotta figure it out. So that's what I do.
Brittany (10:29)
Yeah.
Yes. I think the I think on top of what you were saying though, I think the biggest thing with that is trust. A lot of us 'cause it's like a silly thing, right? 'Cause it's like, well, you married this person. Like you literally how you not trust and and there's a difference in my opinion. This is my opinion. Just go with me for a little bit. Like don't get me wrong. If I'm out with Brie, I don't care if the Hulk show up. I'm looking back like I know you got a baby. Like
Ain't nothing about me fearful walking anywhere with him, you know. But let's say, because I've been on I have been on my own for a while, you know, and I clearly have my own apartment. I knew how to pay my bills, you know, X, Y, and Z. Let's say something goes on financially. And to me, I'm like, well, I would have sat down, got my planner, wrote everything out. We're gonna do this, I'm gonna pay this off first. This money gotta go here, blah, blah, blah. Now, all of a sudden, not only is it
Destiny (10:59)
Right.
Not a bear.
Brittany (11:24)
Me spending money, it's him spending money. These kids need random stuff here and there. Doctor's appointments pop up out of the freaking blue, you know, and it's just like, why would you do that? And so we literally had to sit down and he was like, Brittany, we're gonna do blah blah blah blah blah. Now, in my mind, y'all, this is how I know I was growing. In my mind, I said, That's the dumbest plan I've ever heard. Nothing about that makes sense. I didn't, I didn't say it. In my mind though, I was like, Why do you think
Destiny (11:35)
Right.
Yeah, say
This gross Brittany. I'm proud of you.
Brittany (11:53)
Right. Thank you. Why do you think that that makes sense? The thing that changed from that split second, and I mean, I just said that and I just let them talk and I said, if you think this is the best thing for us to do for our household, I'm gonna follow your lead. And when I tell y'all, I've been so at peace. Now don't get me wrong, I still be like, You want me to put how much on that credit card?
Destiny (11:55)
Yeah.
Brittany (12:19)
But right, like you we getting rid of what? We doing, huh? But at the same time, I'm so much more at peace. And the crazy thing, y'all, is that he then started treating me differently. Like then he can notice that I'm overwhelmed versus me being like, Nah, I done did this, I didn't cook down, you know, cause you get overwhelmed trying to be this independent black woman and be everything for everybody in your house.
Destiny (12:20)
Right, you what you mean, pay it all off right now?
Brittany (12:47)
That once you hit your breaking point of somebody, like let my five-year-old sit at the table and tell me she didn't want chicken. Girl, you better you gonna eat chicken all god dang on week. Don't eat it. Chew it with your mouth closed. Roasted chicken. Whole chicken, chicken wings. Girl, don't play with me. So it it actually slowed everything down. And I think he could tell, like, okay, she's trusting me in this. She's not.
Destiny (12:55)
Exactly. Boiled chicken fried, chicken baked, chicken grilled chicken.
Brittany (13:15)
fighting me on it and it allowed him to like this and say, everyone, as much as we like to say, I don't do roles in my house. I'm not taking out trash. And that's fine by you. I'm not taking out the trash. But that's also because my husband told me not to take out the trash and I'm fine with that as well. But I do want to live more as the Bible says and he should be taking on these responsibilities, right? So if I am going to trust him to do that, I have to actually give him the space to do it. You can't say
Destiny (13:29)
I'm not taking that.
Right.
Brittany (13:44)
my man don't ever do that. my but if you constantly come in to him with the argument, with the assumption that he's not gonna get it done, that it's not gonna be right, that his ways are wrong, he one, he's not gonna wanna talk to you about anything. Two, he ain't gonna take nothing off your plate because he's gonna be like, Well, she got it anyway. She's gonna tell me I did it wrong in the first place. So it's like you got it. So I think.
Destiny (14:03)
Right, strong. Be you wanna be so strong, go ahead.
Hehehehe
Brittany (14:11)
When I did that, it not only allowed me to trust him more, but I think he could see in return like she trusts me. And so we both were letting down guards that I don't think we intentionally tried to put up against each other. It's just when you are two separate people coming into one space and you've done things a particular way for so long, and neither one of us have ever been parents, of course.
Destiny (14:25)
Mm-hmm.
Brittany (14:37)
So I mean let me not say of course, cause you could get into a marriage and somebody could have already have a kid, but we weren't in that spot, you know. So I had to also realize like we're learning everything together. It's not like I'm with a sugar daddy and he got all his ducks in the row.
Destiny (14:42)
Right.
Not a sugar daddy.
Brittany (14:57)
I'm just thinking if he was old, then maybe I could say he got a nice retirement plans. You know about this already, don't ya? You know, Mr. Bobby.
Destiny (15:03)
Right.
Right. You done been here before.
But I think I think it's a great thing that you're allow like you said, allowing each other to do their their part, your part or whatever. Like for Corey always make a joke, like let's say I am overwhelmed and I have like look now I'm like
Brittany (15:10)
Yeah.
Yeah.
Destiny (15:24)
Everybody on my nerves, just just do what I say. Look, everybody it'll be a lot smoother if you just do what I said. He had we have this joke where he'd be like, I'm going to the roof. Cause it's 'cause in the Bible you say better for the man to be live on the corner of the roof of the house than to be in the ho live with a quarrelsome woman.
Brittany (15:27)
Yeah.
Destiny (15:44)
He said, I'm going to the roof. I'd be like, you better bring a jacket. 'Cause
Brittany (15:48)
Listen, take your umbrella. You may be out there for a little while because
Destiny (15:53)
'Cause I'm annoyed. But I But that's the whole point of this video. I had to learn to just slow down and let things play out how they're gonna play out. I think another thing that I've learned is, especially for me, I have I'm not a hmm, how can I say this? I didn't grow up in a household
Brittany (15:56)
That's good one.
Destiny (16:12)
Where I think I've spoken on it before of like the whole I love you thing all day, every day, or being outwardly affectionate. That that's what I'm trying to get at. I know my parents love me. I know that my family loves me, but it just I don't sometimes I feel like I struggle with actually showing it. So even sometimes when I'm like let's say that's why I feel like allowing the Holy Spirit to guide you, even obviously within your marriage is very important because if you hear that little voice in your head that just say destiny, go give him a hug or
Brittany (16:19)
Yeah.
Destiny (16:42)
Say something encouraging or anything like that. You need to act on it right then and there. And now the well, he been getting on my nerves, so you get on God's nerves all the time, I'm sure, and you keep asking that man for stuff. And you want him to do it. And he do it. So I just feel like
Brittany (16:49)
Yeah.
Yeah.
Right.
Destiny (17:00)
l allowing the Holy Spirit to guide me 'cause obviously I don't have it all figured out. I come from my background is totally a different like I feel like Corey is a he he's better with his words. He's better with showing, you know, or or reassuring. I ain't that good at it. I mean like I said, thank you. If if you did good job
Brittany (17:13)
Yeah.
Right.
Destiny (17:17)
And so I'm learning that and if I want him to show up to be his best self, I don't have to be this hard, with this wall up, strong black, independent woman. I ain't gonna do all that, all that soft stuff, but wanting him to be there be that way towards me. Like I had to learn. I just had to that's something I had to learn. So even like like I said before I got on this podcast today, my house not falling apart, but buy a house they said, it'll be fun. He said, Girl, where is maintenance?
Brittany (17:28)
Yeah.
Right. I need apartment. I need what amenities.
Destiny (17:48)
Cause bruh. And so I could tell and then like Nova, she crying, child. And so I could tell that he's like, he's getting it done. Like I know that when Corey disappeared, I'm not, should I put his business out like that? I was gonna say. When Corey disappeared and like stuff going on, I already know he went to go to the sit on the toilet. That's what he
Brittany (18:01)
What
Listen, that's where all these men are sitting on the toilet.
Destiny (18:11)
Yeah, he fun okay, he functions on the toilet. So I already knew where he was at. And so when I he had put Nova down for a nap and I was finna sit down and record with my sister and so he came down to put her bottle away. And I just said, I gave him a hug, I gave him some encouraging words, you know, blah blah blah. And after that I felt like God was pleased with me. And so I'm that's right. So I'm learning to allow myself to be in my soft era, allowing myself to not
Brittany (18:32)
Not for real.
Destiny (18:39)
Or even just like when things start going wrong for me to start tripping out and being like, I gotta figure it out. No. I went up there, girl, he over there sh trying to figure out how we're gonna fix under the sink. I'm over there playing dress up and over. Look, I'm just a girl. Right, because we got somewhere to go after this. I'm getting her hair together. She got on a new outfit. And I that's what I was doing. And so not to say like
Brittany (18:56)
'Cause you look cute.
Destiny (19:06)
He'll figure it out. He a man. Be a man. But at the same time I'm learning to just be a woman. I don't have to be in there like over there trying to I I'm under the sink with my butt crack out trying to fix it. I don't I'm not a plumber.
Brittany (19:08)
Yeah.
Destiny (19:18)
back then that's what I would have been doing or I would have been on the phone with my daddy trying to figure it out. Even in a relationship I've done that. Daddy this man don't know what he doing. Can you how you put a fan up? Tell me how to do it. But n like now
Brittany (19:24)
Yeah.
Destiny (19:33)
Being in a relationship with a man who wants to lead, who wants to protect me and allow me to be in my soft energy, I have learned to let him handle it how he's gonna handle it. You know, Corey, he puts fans up, he does the things, he does, whatever. And if he don't know how to do something, he baby he he learning, he calling who knows how to do it. But I also, like I said, my daddy, if I say daddy, the wi fi went out, he not finna be like, okay, I'll come over there in three days and figure it out. I ain't gonna lie, y'all. But I when I
Brittany (19:39)
Yeah.
Destiny (20:02)
Ask my dad, tell my daddy something broken. Right? He's even if he's watching the TV show, he pauses it, he goes fix it, and he go back to the show. So I feel like I have this expectation of a man that that's what you're supposed to do. But I have not had that experience outside of my daddy until I got married. So I was calling him, even when I'm in a relationship, daddy, daddy, my daddy said.
Brittany (20:24)
247. But it's also in this personality because it it's also kind of eerie, which we go back to saying we don't know how to relax, because we also grew up with someone saying, if you don't like when I wake up, my idea is that when I get up, I'm doing things. Don't get me wrong, I'm not like immediately getting up being like, okay, here goes the checklist. But I know I'm fit to get up. I once I'm out of my bed, if Bree is out of the bed already, which 10 out of 10 he is.
I make the bed. I don't leave my room until my bed is made. I don't know what that is, but my dad would always be like, if you don't feel like doing it now, what makes you think you wanna do it later? So I assume that if I get everything done, then for the rest of the day I can do whatever it is that I wanna do. You know what I'm saying? My husband is not like that, y'all. My husband would get out of the bed and then go sit on the couch with a blanket and then say, Give me ten minutes. You could have took them ten minutes in the bed.
Destiny (21:02)
Yeah.
Right.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Brittany (21:21)
How you go from one laying position to another laying position, I'm baffled. I am beyond baffled.
Destiny (21:24)
Now we got two spaces to clean. Now we gotta make the bed and fold the blanket.
Brittany (21:29)
What? So but then I realized that because he's taking his time, in my opinion, taking his time, I will give him the baby and then I will go in there and make breakfast. And it actually made everything slower because I'm not trying to handle everybody. Like 'cause he ain't like, I have to go take the trash out and then I gotta go. It's just like, okay, he doing that. So I got this. So technically by the time I'm done with all my stuff, then he like, All right, Brittany, I'm about to go do
Destiny (21:47)
Mm.
Brittany (21:58)
Blah blah blah blah blah. And I'm like, perfect, because I'm done for the day. Then he then he likes to do random things. Like he'll just two o'clock be like, you wanna go see this movie? And I'll be like, Bree, we ain't got no babies to them. And he'll be like, Wanna see if they'll do it tomorrow? Like he's just very random in that way. And then I'm like, I can't even be mad at that. Because yeah, I would actually like to go see a movie. But he's also way more, like, like Destiny said, aware.
Destiny (22:01)
Right.
⁓
On the wheel.
Brittany (22:23)
Like it take me a while to see that somebody's overwhelmed. Though even if you are o overwhelmed, I'm like, You gotta figure that out 'cause it gotta get done. Whereas Bree will literally be like, What you gotta do with your like today, I I br dude I told you I was extremely clingy. So I'm in the closet trying to finish folding clothes. He is straddling me with his head on my chest and he just looking around and whining and laying down and whining. And Bree is like,
Destiny (22:32)
Mm-hmm.
Brittany (22:50)
You ain't tell you was in the closet trying to fold these clothes? I would have came down and I'm like, 'cause I didn't feel like doing all that. He's good. He's sitting here. I'm getting the clothes folded. It's right, it's all good. So Bree sits down, he starts helping me fold the clothes. Now we're done. And then I say, Well, I gotta get this, that, and the third done, 'cause I'm gonna record with my sister, literally in like a hour and thirty minutes. And so he goes, You don't wanna like
Destiny (22:56)
All right. I just figure it out.
Brittany (23:15)
Reschedule it. Seem you seem overwhelmed right now. Maybe you just need to take your time. And I was like, we can't take our time because we record once per you know, we're recording once instead of twice on Sundays. So we're not really ahead. This is the first time we've recorded the way they were recording. So I don't want to get overwhelmed with trying to edit and you know, I'm going through all the things with him. And he's just like, See, that sounds like you fit to hit a wall. And I'm like, No, I gotta get it done. So he was like, You know what?
Destiny (23:41)
Right.
Brittany (23:42)
You do the podcast with your sister. Don't worry about meal prepping for me. I figure it out. Them kids don't make them no lunch. They can eat school lunch for one day. Then if you feel like you got everything you wanted to get done today, then we can figure out meal prep on Monday. And he was like, you know what? I hate seeing you like this on Sunday. I'm off on Fridays. I'm a meal prep with you on Friday. And I was like, I didn't even like you know what I'm saying? Cause I cause
Destiny (24:08)
Come on, solutions.
Brittany (24:11)
We're always like, I gotta do it. And this is what works because I have to do XYZ. So it's nice to have somebody who can I guess when you're it fully in your independent side can also put you back in your soft gar soft girl era or space and then make you feel like that was such a easy solution.
Destiny (24:13)
Yeah.
Mm-hmm.
Brittany (24:34)
But here I am, like I gotta wash the girls' hair. I like I'm literally going through everything with him. And he has learned that when I bust down my list, don't say nothing. Because you're making me feel like I'm not being heard. And at the end of the day, the thing's gonna get done. So I suggest you shut up because I I really need somebody to understand how freaking overwhelmed, but how much I'm fit to get it done feels. But in that, he'll just be like, that sound like a lot.
Destiny (24:35)
Thank you.
Mm-hmm.
Right.
Yeah.
Brittany (25:01)
And then he comes up with like the simplest things and I'd be like, hmm, yeah, that sounds pretty cool. Let's do that. Yeah, right. And so I you know, I love I love that I can do it all, but I also love that I don't have to do it all.
Destiny (25:06)
Yeah, why didn't I think of that?
Mm-hmm. That's what I was gonna ask you. I was literally gonna say, at what point or in what way have you figured or how hmm get it together, Destiny? In what way? In what way do you feel like you have mastered the skill of being the strong black independent woman, but also being the
Brittany (25:27)
Ha ha ha.
Destiny (25:38)
you know, I'm just a girl, I'm just a wife, then my husband's kid take care of, you know, like how do you feel like or when do you f ha like do you feel like you've gotten to that point where you've mastered that skill? Or do you feel like, no? Okay. Or do you feel like or what do you feel like you're gonna be able gonna have to do to be able to manage it? Because I feel like when majority of your life was spent being the strong black independent woman or strong white independent woman, strong Mexican
Brittany (25:49)
No.
No.
Well to go ahead.
Yes.
Destiny (26:08)
Whatever type of woman that you are. How do you learn to just like when do you just say I like can you do both? I don't know. Or do you just feel like I gotta do one or the other?
Brittany (26:20)
I feel like I had to realize what my triggers were.
Destiny (26:24)
I feel like that question was all over the place.
Brittany (26:26)
It was all over the place, but I feel like I got a handle on what you was trying to. I'm the listen, I'm answering and you tell me if I answered your question. I feel like one, I had to figure out what my triggers were. I think a lot of times we walk around because we are independent and we ass like to me, an independent woman thinks logically. And nine times out of ten, the logical
Destiny (26:31)
Okay.
Okay.
Brittany (26:48)
Thinking side of yourself assumes that what you know everybody else knows. And the way it needs to be done, everybody else is gonna do it. So the moment something arises that you notice and then you thinking, they're gonna handle that, and then they don't, you're you're annoyed. That person has no freaking clue about what it is that you notice. Like
Destiny (26:53)
Mm.
Brittany (27:08)
The fact that I can see that Brielle, I mean that Breeland left two pieces of popcorn on the floor, but Brielle told me she vacuumed the floor and she ain't seen nothing. And I'm thinking to myself, how the heck didn't you not see the popcorn? Cause I see the popcorn. But then I realized my mama was the same way. Like, how is it that she can make my bed after I made it and I know she made it? Crazy. That lady was a c cleaning queen. And so I think the biggest thing, one, the first thing I had to do.
Destiny (27:18)
Right.
Right.
No, for real.
Brittany (27:36)
Was find out what a trigger point was for me because then it allowed me to at least sit and then express myself to my spouse. So I would then say, I don't need you to interrupt me. I don't want you to fix this. I just want to tell you how exactly how I feel. And I would just do do do do do do do do do. And he would be so overwhelmed with that. Like then he is like, What the heck? Why are you doing all of that? And I'm like,
Destiny (27:55)
Right.
Brittany (28:02)
Well how else you think you're gonna have clean drawers when you go to work and how else you think you got food on town? How else you think your kids go to school with their hair comb in their outfits is ironed? Cause I gotta get cause I'm doing it. You know? So and so right. I ain't got pixie dust. Shooting out my butt.
Destiny (28:13)
Right. There ain't no magic fairy around here.
Brittany (28:20)
And so I think that is how it started. And I think from there, then Bree would say, Hey, when you come to me, I'm not saying you can't come to me, but it sounds like a lot, and I don't know how to help process what it is that you have going on. So then from there we had to learn what was the best way for me to not hit the ceiling or get to this point where I feel like I'm gonna cuss all y'all out. Now I'm about to ride out solo dolo.
Destiny (28:48)
Even the baby. No, I was like
Brittany (28:48)
Leave him about to hop in this raff off. Don't come looking for me. Ain't fit to go nowhere but to buck eats to get a Snickerball. And that's literally down the street. So that was the first one. The second one was then I think where this topic is actually kind of coming from, is then I had to allow him to be my husband. I had to actually allow him to say.
Destiny (28:54)
Yeah.
Right. And back. And that's down the street.
You just had to do it. It was no
Brittany (29:17)
I just had yeah. At some point you have to I think too you have to realize like the pyramids aren't gonna blow up. Like like the house is not about to fall apart because you didn't vacuum the floor. It's probably about to get it might yes, it might. And then the moment I was like, I got three kids. This is a home that's live it's like I had to start
Destiny (29:24)
Yeah.
That's my problem. I be feeling like it might it it might but
Yeah.
Brittany (29:40)
re like redirecting my brain. You know how most people be like the glass is half full versus the glass is half empty. It's almost like you gotta think o optimistically about your situation versus like if I don't get it done now, ain't nothing getting done for the rest of the week. That's how I used to feel. If this stuff don't get done on Sunday, who do you think fit to do it on Monday?
Destiny (29:46)
Mm-hmm.
Yeah. ⁓
And a whole week is ruined.
Brittany (30:01)
All this types all types of discombobulated. So I think once I realized that just because I didn't get it done on that day does not mean that the world is about to fall apart. Because how many times have you said you gonna get something else done and then you don't do it? And did anything fall apart? Absolutely not. Now I ain't gonna lie though, that that flow not being vacuumed, it did agitate the heck out of me. And you know what I just kindly did is I
Destiny (30:04)
Right.
Right.
Brittany (30:28)
She showed Brio the popcorn and I said, Can you please vacuum the floor? Just vacuum the floor and I really and I'ma throw out some chicken when I get done. And I really appreciate that. And then I just walked off. I ain't have to go off. I ain't do no yelling. I didn't say, nah, when somebody comes to my house, they gonna feel like I'm. I think that's the deal too, is that you feel like somebody gonna pop up by my like that's how crazy this stuff goes. You
Destiny (30:33)
Thanks.
Brittany (30:53)
Just because you didn't do that thing, you be like, now somebody gonna come to my house and think I'm dirty because I know dang on well. that should have been cleaned up a long time ago. Now that it ain't clean, now I feel like I gonna need to really go all the way through my closet. And you know when you get into them clean c cleaning frenzies and you got all the energy. And then somewhere between that second song coming on your playlist, all your clothes is off the off the railings.
Destiny (31:10)
Mm-hmm.
Brittany (31:17)
But ain't nothing put up. And now you laying on the bed or laying over the clothes, thinking to yourself, now who's to put all this up because I'm tired? That's what it becomes.
Destiny (31:21)
Right.
Like like you said the other day, I'd have made a bigger mess trying to clean up.
Brittany (31:27)
And like where they do that at like now it's even cra So I have to start telling myself too like nothing is going to go down the drain. Your kids are still fed, their hair was still comb. Just because you didn't wash it on Sunday don't mean she gon' have a bed bug. I don't know what other the dandruff about to walk. I know, I was about to say lice and I was like, Lord, no.
Destiny (31:30)
Right.
Like a dread growing out of her head by tomorrow.
Brittany (31:53)
She gonna get that from somebody else. But you know what I mean. Y'all get where I'm trying to go with this.
Destiny (31:58)
But I feel like another thing that in your story that stood out to me at least was even if it's from your kids, asking for help. Like even though Brielle did like I'm just saying hey, and and and calmly saying, Hey, can you do this? Can you do that? I feel like me, I such baby went they look, Webby, wait, no, Boosie. Who's saying independent? I And D, Boosie. Webby.
Brittany (32:07)
Wow.
Yeah.
Yeah. No, it's with Girl.
Destiny (32:26)
Which one is it? I think it's Boosie. Brittany, who sing it?
Brittany (32:30)
No, is it I think listen, this I d we in the Lords it's Webby.
Destiny (32:35)
That's where be aim it.
Brittany (32:39)
Who
Destiny (32:39)
I think it's Webby, because I I'm picturing the album cover in my head and it's like yellow. No. Okay, this ain't got nothing to do with the topic. Brittany, what is it? Hurry up.
Brittany (32:49)
I don't know, just keep talking.
Destiny (32:51)
Okay. Well I feel like I feel like I had to I took that role very, very, very seriously. Like
Brittany (32:57)
it's boo it's Webby featuring Boosie. That's why. I think it's Boosie saying that part, but it's Webby's song. Either way it's both of
Destiny (33:00)
Guess why I'm confused.
Look, either way, I was taking an independent baby that I thought they was talking about me. And I took it and ran with it. Okay. And so one time I have okay, I was gonna lie and say once I've mastered, but I ain't mastered anything. But once I've learned that a simple
Brittany (33:13)
Yes.
No.
Destiny (33:25)
request for help can go a long way and that I don't have to do it all by myself. E it it you know, and like I said, I feel like I would get in my own head of being like, now you see me up here doing all of this, in my head, it would make sense for you to just do that. But in his head, like you said, Re can get up and just walk out the room and I'll make the bed. They're not they're not wired the same way. They're not
Brittany (33:42)
Yeah.
Yeah.
Destiny (33:51)
Let's not clicking, Steven. I don't know. And so I had to learn to just say, Hey babe, can you do this? Can you so even like me and Corey have been meal prepping our breakfast together for the last three weeks and it has been going very, very well. Except today I
Brittany (33:53)
Yeah.
Destiny (34:08)
Less like I said, Miss Nova Girl not sleeping. And so I s and I usually do make breakfast on Sundays. And I was I got up and I just came in here and I started making breakfast. And he was sitting down on the couch when I was like, Maybe he's just like he I know in my head I'm like, he sees me making breakfast. We've been meal prepping, but I ain't say nothing because I was also thinking like he probably just tired. We we did have a long night. Whatever, I can do it. It's not that big of a deal.
Cause I'm independent. And so I and so I'm making a breakfast. And I asked him something about the breakfast. And then he said, what are you doing? Like I he thought that I was just making breakfast for today. And so he was like, Wait, you were doing the meal preps too? And I said, Yeah. He said, Well, why didn't you say anything? I said, Because I just thought that you was, you know, that you was tired and I was okay with you just chilling, you know? And he was so my thing is.
Brittany (34:35)
Ha!
Yeah.
Destiny (35:01)
Sometimes I also be feeling like I'm a burden if I ask for help.
Brittany (35:04)
Yes.
Destiny (35:06)
Cause like like I said in my head, I'm like, you see me doing this, so I'll just I'm just gonna do it. You know what? Whatever. I got it. Now I got attitude. But that wasn't the case today. But I my point is I could I can ask for help. I don't have to do everything by myself. And I'm getting into a space where I'm allowing other people to help me. Even if it's outside my marriage, right? Like it don't always have to be marital. If I like with Britney, if I used to feel like
Brittany (35:24)
Mm.
Destiny (35:32)
Like like even what Brian said with recording, if you ever feel like, I can't I ain't got the mental space to do it today, right?
you to be able to reach out and be like, Destiny, you know, I ain't got it today. Like, or even like you don't have to always have it figured out. You can always just say, I need a brain check. You know, and that's okay. I and I don't know if you remember this, but remember I lived in Charlotte and we used to wake up at 5 a.m. and work out on FaceTime together. And we was okay. But my point is we were doing that.
Brittany (36:06)
Yeah.
Destiny (36:10)
For we did that for a long time, I feel like. And then like one day, I just was like, I don't want to wake up at 5 a.m. But in my head, I was like, I can't let Brittany down. Right. But then when I finally spoke up for myself and told her, Hey, I I I ain't got it. I don't I'm not I'm not as strong as I'm not a strong black independent woman today. I need a break, right? She was like, Okay.
Brittany (36:12)
Yeah.
Yeah.
Right. I can't do it. Get up.
Destiny (36:38)
Meanwhile, in my head, I'm thinking she I don't like I said, if a collateral damage, if I just stop this, you know, it's a routine. We gotta keep going. And in my head, that's how I I process everything. And so once I just learned to be like, ooh, you don't have to do it all right now. Like today, y'all. I said, I'm gonna lay down for a little bit and I'm gonna go to the gym and I'm gonna do you know. I w woke up, it was one PM. I said,
Brittany (36:46)
Yeah.
Yeah.
No.
Destiny (37:07)
That was a long nap. Exactly. But I needed that nap so much. And that nap is gonna help carry me through the rest of the week. That workout would hit it have made my body look a little better. Yeah. But I would have been overworking myself trying to do it all. I missed the day of the gym this week. Okay, so what?
Brittany (37:08)
I'ma just get dressed and walk real fast while I'm too many.
Yeah.
Destiny (37:31)
It's okay. It's not the end of the day. And I feel like I've had to learn to just slow down. It's okay to feel like like it's it's I'm not saying that I'm because I am a very task-oriented person. Like I love scratching things off my to-do list. It makes me feel good. It gives me adrenaline rush. But I feel like
Brittany (37:48)
Right. No, for real.
Destiny (37:51)
I feel like I'm having to learn. If it if you're that like gong ho about your to-do list, baby pen some in, take a nap, do nothing, put it on the to-do list. What?
Brittany (38:00)
Yeah.
Well hold on, hold on though. Cause I know we I know this episode is about to come to an end with with the timing and everything, but I just gotta ask this question for anybody who's out there who is single. Cause a lot of this has gone into us being independent black women and now we're in marriage we're in relationships. Well, we're in marriages, but we have someone who can counteract that whole situation for us. You know what I'm saying? Who can kinda
Take something off your plate. So have you been in situation well clearly you have. We've all been single, but like do you feel like you knew how to be a soft girl then? Or knowing what you know now, what would be your advice to somebody who's single who's like, Well, I ain't got nobody to get none to. I gotta put up the curtains unless I want peep and Tom just to have a free show. You know, like what what would you say then?
Destiny (38:51)
⁓
I will say, hmm, that's a good question. Because what would that's like asking me, what would I tell myself a few years ago when I was having to do it all by myself? Like, I don't know. Because I've also feel like living by yourself is a lot easier. Like it it gets harder when you have other people to worry about. Like I didn't mind putting up the curtains when I was by myself. This is my house. I'm making my house look pretty. This g this makes me feel good.
Brittany (39:19)
Yeah.
Yeah.
Destiny (39:27)
I don't know. Okay, I think, hmm, I think just learning or getting used to the or hmm, I don't know, girl.
Brittany (39:35)
Well would you say the independent okay, so let me sw switch that up. Do you feel like the independence of a of being a woman doesn't really I don't wanna say it becomes a problem, but I'm just gonna say that. It's not what it really what I mean because I don't think it's a problem. But it doesn't become a thing until you get in a relationship that you realize I need to Yeah, like I got I may have a little
Destiny (39:58)
I'm a little hyper-independent. Yeah, because how else am I gonna recognize it if I'm by myself? Who else gonna do it? Ain't nobody else up in here.
Brittany (40:04)
Yeah. I don't know. I mean, I feel like I only say that because when I was in college, I had this guy lived across the across the hallway from from me in our apartment complex. And now one, he asked me out on a date, which was cool, but he asked me at the time that the Celtics was in the playoffs and if you know anything about me, your girl loves sports, okay? And I'm not your typical we're gonna put on heels and I need to go to the cheesecake factory.
Or whatever y'all consider to be fancy now because y'all be on the internet acting a fool. Somebody just take y'all to red lobster. Girl, you better be glad he didn't take you to Applebee's. But anyways. So I was like, let's just go to Chili's. Now my roommate at the time was like, Why would you go to Chili's? Like, you trying to take you holding girl, we gotta watch this game. And right that part. It's like a lot of them. And I like the Texas cheats pretty much.
Destiny (40:38)
Right. Exactly.
They got TVs, duh.
Yeah.
Brittany (41:02)
But but anyway, so we did that and then we ended up doing some other things and he had put his hand out to like help me down, or we was doing something where technically he could have helped me down, but it wasn't like that big of a deal. I mean, I had on flats, y'all. Come on, let's be real. And I didn't notice it, so I wasn't being rude, it's just I didn't know what the heck the hand was, yeah. Well, I got this.
Destiny (41:01)
Mm-hmm.
Mm-hmm.
Right.
Like, what are you doing?
Hey, handicap?
Brittany (41:26)
And so then right saw a fly.
Destiny (41:30)
Move on away.
Brittany (41:31)
Get that out of here. So then later we go out again and then he goes, You must have a problem with men helping you or something something along those lines. Nah, I'm baffled. Bamboozled. Befuddle. I don't know. What are you talking about, my guy? And I was like, I don't have a problem with nobody helping me. He was just like, you seem like when you get in a relationship with a man, is you're gonna have a hard time with them.
Destiny (41:48)
Yeah.
Brittany (41:57)
Now take it we just been on a few dates. I'm thinking to myself, you really don't even know me, bro. Like, we just went to chilies. But it, you know, and I mean again, maybe it's also like, okay, cool. Yeah, maybe it is once you get in a relationship and you realize how high this independence is that you can't even do certain things. But I don't know if everyone gets or starts in rel in a relationship and then like would have noticed the hand and took the hand.
Destiny (42:02)
Right. Right. You
Brittany (42:25)
You know, like, would you already so if so considering that I wasn't in a relationship with him, if he first off, if he wouldn't have said that, but also it's just like if we would have continued that, like I don't even know how I would have like broken that all down. That was the first time in dating somebody that somebody had told me that I didn't know how to be in a relationship.
Destiny (42:26)
Yeah.
Yeah. I guess I can I can mm, I've had a situation like that. Like when the first time somebody opened my car door, I l I said, What are you doing? I thought you was driving 'cause why are you on the side?
Brittany (42:54)
Mm.
Destiny (42:57)
Thinking I can open the door, bro. It's not that big of a deal. It's not that serious. Hurry up. Get in the car. Hungry.
Brittany (43:01)
Yeah.
Right? Femininity. Yeah. Maybe we just don't really know what it's like for somebody because it's not even about because I know a lot of people be like, You're being a feminist. And I'd be like, Pi pipe it down. Okay. Calm down. We're not going to jail and starving ourselves for you know for the rights of nothing right now. I just didn't know that you wanted to open up the car door. So do we not appreciate I appreciate politeness. I but it did. I maybe
Destiny (43:07)
Okay.
Yeah. Like God forbid I just like to take care of myself.
Yeah.
think it's just something that has to be learned. I think it for a person like me, it was a a something that I had to learn. To be like, okay, these are acts of service that people a man is gonna do for you and it's okay. It's not to say like you're less independent. We know you can open up your own car door. We know you can go down the stairs without tripping and falling. I would hope so. And so
Brittany (43:50)
Right 'cause why I asked you out, you look like you had some sense.
Destiny (43:54)
Exactly. I seen you walk down the stairs before. So I feel like I feel like it's just in our own heads of just allowing the other person to do it. And like and not looking at it, like you said, looking at certain situations with from an optimistic view rather than like, this nigga done opened my door thinking he doing something. I can open that. You ain't even offering no real help. You're doing stuff that I can do myself.
Brittany (43:56)
Ha ha ha.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Right. You still ain't getting none, bro.
Destiny (44:22)
Right. When in reality, if you have that mindset of I could just I could do that myself, that I feel like that goes with anything that somebody could do for you. You can almost do everything yourself, especially like if when you were single, you were doing everything yourself. Nobody's saying you can't do it yourself. It's just allowing somebody to be there for you in a way that you probably have never experienced. And not and not looking at it as a way of saying or diminishing your independence.
Brittany (44:37)
Yeah.
Yeah.
Destiny (44:50)
Just be like I'm still independent because when he not around, you gotta open your own door. So you we know you're opening doors. You wanna be independent so bad. Like, how else you gonna get in the car? Right. So it's just like, I think for me, I had to just learn to be I don't I was gonna say a girl. I know how to be a girl, but just being in my soft girl era, I guess, of just
Brittany (44:54)
No for that part. How else did you get in that car?
Yeah.
Destiny (45:14)
It's it's nice to have someone. I think it's more of the thought that counts type of thing. In those situations. But now that I'm married and I got real life situations, it's more than just opening my door. My sick is link it, link linking. Leaking. I can't even talk. That that's stuff that I need my hip my husband for, you know, so
Brittany (45:20)
Yeah. Does it make you less thin?
Mm-hmm.
Destiny (45:37)
And even just allowing him to like he handles the stuff around the house. That's his role. He's taking out he's gonna take out that trash. That's his role. Even if I feel like he needs to take it out right now. He gonna take that trash out, because he always takes that trash out. So why am I sitting here worried about that trash? Go do something else, Destiny. Go find you something else to be worried about. You don't have to worry about that.
Brittany (45:52)
Yep.
Destiny (46:00)
So I feel like I like you said, baby know your role and play it well. And that goes for men and women. That's that'll solve all our problems. If the man is doing what the man's supposed to be doing, the woman can do what the woman's supposed to be doing. That's the order it's gonna go in. Duh.
Brittany (46:08)
Pretty much.
Yes.
And I'm not arguing with you in the comments about it either. If you don't want no rose in your house, we d this ain't for you. Do do do how you wanna do. That part.
Destiny (46:23)
Right. Go to the next episode. Don't just click off completely. Go watch another one.
Brittany (46:30)
But I do feel like somebody would argue, you know, well you gotta do and is and that's fine if that's what if that's how you choose to wanna do your things. But listen, I love that I got a man who wants to learn how to do new things, who can be aware not only of himself, but then also of me if I haven't found the words to bring something to him to
you know, give me a break or to lower my anxiety or whatever the case may be. Because it's not like I'm like this all the time. But but also just to say thank you, 'cause the other day he literally just stopped me and he was just like, I really do appreciate you. And he was like, I've been eating good all week. That's salmon. I had salmon for lunch. And I was like, Yes, you did. Cause I went to H E D and I got the fresh one. I ain't even getting frozen. And so even in the midst of the maybe the times of me
Destiny (46:55)
Mm-hmm.
Too deep. Right.
Brittany (47:20)
doing it all, I like that he also acknowledges the fact that he notices that I did it all, you know? So I mean s and I have to tell myself though that every week or every day also isn't the same. I know we thrive on systems and planning and all of that, but I think that's the biggest thing too. One, like you said, first off, freaking relax. And then two is to change with the season. Just because you're changing
Destiny (47:27)
Mm-hmm.
Brittany (47:49)
Or having to do something different doesn't mean that you failed. And I think in a world where it's like you got Chat GBT, you you know, you can figure this out, you got the YouTube, you know, this girl, she's doing it all. She, you know, she putting on the makeup before babe. Maybe I need to start getting on the internet and showing you. I'm not waking up putting on no makeup. I wake up ten minutes before I supposed to be in my garage and you know what I do? I put these locks in a bun, I put that outfit on, and I brush my teeth. And I get out there. I'm not doing nothing extra.
Destiny (48:15)
That's it, that's all.
Brittany (48:18)
Why? Because it was already extra enough that I had to wake up and do this to hit that alarm. Cause why I gotta slide it? Apple, that needs to be a button. Cause now I really gotta wake up to find that little square and slide that sucker to stop beeping at me.
Destiny (48:19)
Right.
Yeah.
Right. And then sometimes I accidentally then they make the snooze button so big they trying to set you up for failure. I accidentally press it something and now my alarm keeps going off. I'm up. Anyway. Right. Why would you make that snooze button that big?
Brittany (48:38)
Yeah.
Stupid. Wake up when I won't do. Yeah, and why is the alarm doing its job consistently? Like you don't want it don't want no days off.
Destiny (48:50)
Yeah, like the alarm's supposed to you need to get up. It's time to get up. Anyways
Brittany (48:56)
So before we get too carried away, but I just wanted to to say that part. So I guess I will be done I think I was saying what I'ma be done with. I th I'ma try. I'ma try. Huh?
Destiny (49:05)
I feel like that's this whole episode. Was I think the whole episode was us showing or getting at what we're gonna be done with. Yeah.
Brittany (49:10)
Saying what we gonna be done with. Yeah. I think I I need to just be done with not feeling like the world is gonna blow up if I don't get everything done in one day. Yeah. The Lord didn't even do everything in one day.
Destiny (49:21)
And asking for help. Ask for help. Even the Lord rested on one day. The Lord said, I ain't knowing nothing today. Everything I done did all week was very good.
Brittany (49:28)
That
No.
And I think I need to be more like him. I'm not doing nothing.
Destiny (49:36)
You do. So yeah, I feel like that that was a a good episode of just reminding ourselves too that it's okay, you don't have to do everything. Even if you are doing everything, you don't have to do it all at once. It's okay. Divvy it out between the days. Dang, he gave us seven of them in a week. You wanna do everything in one day. Now you stressed out and out of the whole house all off cause you walking around with the attitude.
Brittany (49:47)
Yeah.
Mm-hmm.
Yeah.
Right. ⁓
Destiny (50:04)
It ain't that big of a deal. Even if you live alone, it ain't that big of a deal. Calm down.
Brittany (50:09)
Yeah, go sit down and watch that Disney movie with joy in it. So she can t show you that it's gonna be okay. ⁓
Destiny (50:12)
Exactly. Relax. So yes. Well, I guess that wraps up today's episode. I gotta go to a church event, y'all, so I gotta go. But it was nice talking to y'all this week and we gonna see y'all at the same time next week. Peace. Yeah.
Brittany (50:23)
All right. We love y'all.
Next week. Peace.
All right, that was good.
That went very well.
Destiny (50:38)
Time to go.
