James Dooley: Before we get started, what bit of advice would you give to a business owner of a cleaning company before spending any money on digital marketing?
Guest: So, the biggest piece of advice that I would give to cleaning companies is going and setting up some KPI. So, you want to figure out how much money you're spending, where are the money you are spending, which channels, how many leads you've generated, what the quality of those leads have been like, have you been able to contact them, and what the close rate is as well. Like, how many of those leads have turned into paying customers? Once you have all of those facts and figures in place, that's when digital marketing just becomes a lot more predictable. You can scale certain campaigns up, or you can switch certain campaigns off that might not necessarily be working.
