Edna Harding [00:00:25]:
Hi, I'm Edna.
Edna Harding [00:00:26]:
Like many of you, I wear many hats. I'm a military wife, mother, author, certified John Maxwell business and executive coach, trainer, and founder of Favor and wealth, where we help the good guys win. So tune in as we bring on the light.
Edna Harding [00:00:48]:
Well, hello, everyone. Thank you for tuning in for another episode of the Entrepreneur podcast. My name is Edna Harding, and I'm nothing but a messenger of hope, life and truth in business and in the marketplace. So I'm so excited to be joining you guys again this week and just wanted to apologize in advance. My voice is a little raspy because I. I don't know, Honestly, my throat is a little itchy. But that's all right. We're gonna carry on keeping on and make sure that God's word falls right deep down on fertile soil.
Edna Harding [00:01:24]:
And I just wanted to first say that today's topic is going to be a good one. And the reason why is what I found is a lot of times what God tells us to do as far as instructions always come against human logic. And so today's episode, we're going to talk about what do we do when God's business plan doesn't make sense? You guys like that one? Okay. I sound so funny because I don't sound like myself. It's gonna just irk me. But that's all right. That's all right. I'm still.
Edna Harding [00:02:01]:
And I just wanted to, I guess, focus, Edna, focus. Maybe. Maybe you're in that season right now, right? You've prayed, you've worked hard, you followed the best business advice out there, and then you ask God for direction, and it seems like it's definitely not what you would choose, is definitely not what you would pick. It's not something that you don't understand fully and feels like upside down and you just don't know how to handle it. But before we go into deeper waters, per se, I just want to go ahead and pray. Father, I thank you for every listener today. Lord, I thank you that you, oh God, are going to give us wisdom, revelation, and courage to follow you, even when the path doesn't make sense. Father.
Edna Harding [00:02:58]:
Lord, I just ask for forgiveness for our sins. For my sins, Lord God, anything that we have done in our lives that have grieved your heart, up to this point, Lord, we just repent and turn from our wicked ways. God, silence my flesh, silence my voice, meaning my words, and let everything that comes out of my mouth be your words. Father Holy Spirit, take over in Jesus name. Amen. All right, so you know, in life, especially in business, you're going to be seeking the Lord for strategies, you're going to be seeking the Lord for directions, you're going to be seeking the Lord for like, what is it that we need to do for this particular situation? And a lot of times the things that he tell you isn't going to make the most logical sense. In fact, it's gonna make you feel kind of like crazy. Like crazy crazy, you know, and, and that's when you know it's God.
Edna Harding [00:04:01]:
That's when you know it's God, right? There are times in life where he tells you to do the opposite of what you know makes sense to the shareholders, makes sense to your team, makes sense to your advisors. These are the times when you need to ask yourself, are you serving God or are you serving man? Okay. And one thing that I found is from a business standpoint, you have to ask yourself, okay, I'm here in business. I know I need to provide for my family, I need, I know I need to provide for my employees. And you know, I need to provide for my employees families and make sure they can take care of them. Like, what do you do, guys, when basically it seems as if the strategy God is giving you is the opposite of helping you do that? Just what I just said, okay? The funny thing is the way God thinks, if you just look throughout the Bible, if you just look through how he works, not just in the Bible, but in a lot of the most anointed and powerful men and women of God and even just regular Christians, is a lot of times the timing isn't right. Sometimes, like when he tells you to do something, it's like in the midst of your busy season, it's the midst of like, like, for example, when something happens, like when you get into a car accident or when you have no foot that works. And this really happened to me, like I, I was in crutches, I couldn't get up, and he tells you to do something, it's really challenging.
Edna Harding [00:05:53]:
It's as if, like, he expects us to do, like, make miracles out of our situation. Meaning, like he wants us to do the impossible things with our limited self. And I laugh, you know, inside, because that just sounds like God. That sounds like, go. And I know this is very difficult. This is very hard to grasp because we're so limited and we're so. When we look at our lives, we look at things from at face value, right? At face value. We never look at things from an eternal perspective, from eternal value.
Edna Harding [00:06:37]:
Like, what type of impact is this going to make on eternity? And the route he typically chooses is not the route you would go. In fact, it seems as if he likes to take you the longer, harder, more strenuous way versus the easy way. The easy route. And sometimes for us believers, it's difficult because we want to ensure that this is really us or this is just the enemy. Have you guys ever done that before, by the way? Have you ever, like, okay, maybe this is a devil tricking me, because this isn't. This just doesn't make sense. This just doesn't make sense. Okay, and so today I want to talk to you guys about that.
Edna Harding [00:07:27]:
I want you to really think about a time when you ask God for direction and he gave you a direction that goes against logic, goes against your heart, goes again, everything inside of you to the point that it feels like you're dying inside. It feels like it's killing you inside. Right? I could remember a long time ago during a time I just brought back to my kitchen table in my townhouse that I knew deep down at some point I was going to have to give up because of the scam. It was just so bad, the financial situation that I was in because of the church scam by my pastors. And on top of that, now I was being audited by the irs. And then now the IRS was basically telling me to basically admit that I committed fraud, money fraud, because of my dealings with these pastors. And I remember sitting at that table just crying. And I was like, God, I don't know what to do.
Edna Harding [00:08:43]:
I remember it was like, don't quote me on this, but it was like there was like a deadline. Let's say it was like 5 o' clock and it was already 4:55pm And I had to make a decision to admit to something that I wasn't guilty of or keep fighting this battle that has been tormenting me for, gosh, I don't know, about a year or so or maybe more than that of these. I dealing with irs, going back, submitting statements, submitting forms, just going back and forth. And I remember in prayer, I remember my mom was there too. She was in the living room. And I was just crying. I was like, I have to make a decision. And I said, what did I do, Mommy? Just like, ask God.
Edna Harding [00:09:24]:
Ask God. And I remember I heard him and I like, very last minute, she said, sign the paper. I was like, God, I'm not guilty. I'm innocent. I did not commit money fraud. This is. This is not me. This is.
Edna Harding [00:09:40]:
This is them. And I say, I don't even know how this. And I was just going back and forth. And I think I remember at like 4:59, like one minute before the deadline, I signed the documents and then I sent it because he told me to sign it. And I was crying. And I remember I was. I was, oh, no, not. Thank you, Holy Spirit.
Edna Harding [00:10:04]:
I lifted up the papers and I said, I'm gonna sign this because I trust you. And I remember I was like, I know I'm innocent and you're the one who's gonna defend my name. I don't know how, but I will sign this because I trust you and I love you. And I signed it. I submitted it. And I remember I was just bawling, bawling, bawling, bawling in my mom's mom's arms. And I was crying and she said, everything is going to be okay. And I was sitting down.
Edna Harding [00:10:33]:
I remember we were in the living room and I was sitting down in. In the living room and I was on the floor, my mom was on the couch, and I was just crying. And I said, mom, I just need to pray. And I remember I was praying, praying, praying. I don't know what I was saying. I was just praying, praying, praying, praying and crying, pour my heart out, just worshiping God and praying. And then I opened my eyes, I see my mom's looking at me like, you know, like, with deer eyes, you know, like shocked. Like, she's looking at me, like, scared almost.
Edna Harding [00:11:03]:
I'm like, what? What is it, Mom? What is it? And she said, jenny, I see. And by the way, if you guys don't know, Jenny is my middle name. And so my close friends and family call me Jenny. They're like. She was like, jenny, I see. I see a big hand, a huge hand over your head. She said, it's so big. It's huge.
Edna Harding [00:11:22]:
And she looks scared. I. I looked up. I didn't see anything. And. And it was just confirmation for me that the Lord was with me. The father was guiding me and he. I heard from him when he told me to sign those paperworks, even though I knew, like, it was like me admitting to something that I did not do.
Edna Harding [00:11:43]:
And I knew that it was going to be long road ahead, but I also knew that God was going to give me the grace to endure that. And it was the most challenging seasons of my life. And no one really knows the price that I paid. Everything that you're seeing now, all of my programs, all of the, you know, the solutions and everything that you see, the fruits that you see came at a heavy price. It wasn't like a one night fix. It was a long process. And looking back, as I look back, I saw God's faithfulness. I saw God make sense of things, even though it didn't make logical sense, but it made eternal sense because all the things that you see now were developed in that dark season.
Edna Harding [00:12:35]:
And I wouldn't be as effective as I am today if I did not have that experience of the baca season. And today I just want to remind us of. You know, there's a scripture that says, for my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways. My ways, declares the Lord, as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts. Isaiah 55, 8, 9. You know, that's what today is all about. You know, it's trusting God when his strategy looks upside down in our own natural eyes. And so let's just open up in prayer.
Edna Harding [00:13:19]:
I know that wasn't really that, that was a very long introduction, but we just need to pray. Father. We just thank you, Lord, for every listener. Give us the wisdom, give us the revelation, give us the courage that we need to obey you when we don't understand. Let your word be a lamp to our feet and a light to our path. Lord, we ask this in Jesus in name. Amen. You know, I, I just sense that this is going to be a season where the Lord is going to ask you to trust him with things.
Edna Harding [00:13:51]:
The Lord is going to ask you to do something that you normally would. The Lord is going to ask you to do something that is risky, that is going against every fleshly thing that you could think of. And, and I just want to encourage you being on the other side of obeying God numerous times, for that was just one example. But numerous times on what he tells you to do. The other side of that, yes. Even though there is going to be a process and there is going to be a journey of faith, the other side of yes. Always outweighs the price of that. Yes.
Edna Harding [00:14:34]:
Let me say that again. The reward of that. Yes. The reward from God of that, yes. Always outweighs the price of that. Yes. Because what I found is when God tells you to do something, it's because he's so far ahead of us. Like, we can't even grasp his genius, right? Because he's so far ahead of us.
Edna Harding [00:14:59]:
Everything that he tells us to do is truly going to work out for our good because he knows what's the. What the. What the consequences are for those decisions. And mind you, if I didn't say yes to, you know, feeling guilty, like, to that. That their accusation of me, I probably would still be fighting. In fact, you know what's so funny? It's not really funny. That happened, I think, in 2016, I believe. Yeah, 2016.
Edna Harding [00:15:32]:
And in 2020, whatever covet was 2020 was when they started, they brought it to court. And then all of a sudden thanks for the people were fighting. And then, and then it was. Was finalized in October that year. So imagine if all those four or five years I didn't. I kept fighting going back and forth. I wouldn't have met my husband. I wouldn't have married my husband.
Edna Harding [00:16:00]:
I wouldn't have kids. I wouldn't have traveled. Like, I wouldn't have built the business that I've already had. I wouldn't have helped all these, you know, thousands of people that I've helped. I wouldn't have worked with hundreds of clients. Like, it's amazing to me to see what God does when you obey. And how much time would I have wasted if I said no to God? I'm like, no, I'm not going to plead guilty over something that I did not. And quite frankly, it was a scary time for me.
Edna Harding [00:16:34]:
I thought I was gonna. There was a lot of things. I didn't know what was gonna happen. At some point I thought I was gonna go to jail at some point that my life was over. I thought it was gonna be. And it was hard, though. I can't. You know, when you.
Edna Harding [00:16:46]:
When you file bankruptcy because of this thing, when you. When you plead guilty, when your credit score go down, and then so many other things happen. Like my social media got hijacked. I couldn't open up a business bank yet. It was just a nonstop door after door after door after door. And I had to really learn how to fight in the battle. I really had to learn how to win and thrive in the midst of the storm. And it was during that time that prepared me for helping my clients, you know, go through their navigate navigating through those challenging times.
Edna Harding [00:17:20]:
Because the thing that I noticed, which is, in fact, if you read Job 38, Job questioned God, you know, and Job had every right, in my opinion, to question God or not everybody but I. Well, I'm just gonna say that I felt like Job needed some answers from God because there were so many things that went wrong, all that so quickly. And when God answered job in job 38, what I loved about God is he didn't explain the why. Instead, he asked the question, where were you when I laid the earth's foundation? Where were you? Did you. I mean, there's this show called Superbook. I was one of our babysitters. Annalise introduced us to this, and she told us to watch Job. And I was watching.
Edna Harding [00:18:18]:
I was crying, crying because the way that cartoon was. And even there was a cartoon for my little girls. And how God just asked a bunch of questions to Job. And it made me really realize how small we really are in the grand scheme of things. So a lot of times we make ourselves a big deal, even though we were loved by God, but we make it seem like it's all over because it's a situation that we overcome or things that we do. But in reality, things that have. That we have to go through. But in reality, we are just a tiny dot in eternity, right? We're just a tiny dot in the grand scheme of things.
Edna Harding [00:18:59]:
And one thing that I've learned about God is that he sees the whole chessboard. You know, we typically see one move ahead, but he sees the eternal impact. You know, Romans 8, 28 promises. And we know that all things work together for our good, for those who love him and those who are called according to his purpose. A lot of times, what I found by God is that his strategy often. Often, sorry. Contradicts market wisdom. Remember Noah himself? He looked foolish when he was building that ark in a dry land.
Edna Harding [00:19:41]:
Abraham looked irrational leaving ur, which is the country that he's from, without a map. But then both of them were walking in divine wisdom, right? I remember when the Lord told me to quit my corporate job. I was. I just closed. I don't know. I forgot. Don't quote me on this. Probably like a hundred million dollars worth of business.
Edna Harding [00:20:05]:
I had, like, three more opportunities and applied by. There were like 50, 60 million each. And I walked away without a backup plan. I walked away knowing that I was losing money left and right because of this scam. He, God, told me to leave my corporate job in the midst of crisis. Do you know, Without a backup plan, without a line with my bank account, like, almost none, nothing left. Because I obeyed God. I jumped off that boat.
Edna Harding [00:20:37]:
I walked on the water. And then what happened? I just, like Peter looked at the storm and not on Jesus and I got distracted for a little bit and this happened over and over again. You know, I'll be walking on water and then I get distracted for a bit and I walk through. I felt like I was in a storm for a very long time, just put it that way. It was like a cycle. But then what I realized is that when you trust God, when you focus on God, he will make a way when there seems to be no way. And every single time he did. I don't have time to go over my whole story and all the different amazing miracles that I've seen in my life, but this one thing's for sure is that no one can tell me that my God does not see me.
Edna Harding [00:21:23]:
No one can tell me that my God is not real because of the things that I overcame, because of the ways he provided for me, because of the ways he showed his faithful, because of the ways he rescued me and intervened for me. Like, there is no way someone will ever, ever convince me that there is no God and there's no such thing as redemption. Because one thing I know, just like in Hebrews 11, it says with the examples of all the heroes of the faith, they acted before they understood. And once they obeyed, then they got understanding. Okay? Because if we have to know what's happening before we trust God and before we obey God, that is not faith. Okay? That is not faith. That is. I don't know what that is.
Edna Harding [00:22:15]:
It's foolishness, Right? It's foolishness. And you can't call righteousness because it says the righteous will live by faith. So, you know, there's a scripture that says that the. That the righteous will be bold as a lion, the righteous will be protected. I forgot. The righteous will be delivered. The righteous would never be thinking Holy Spirit, the righteous would never be forsaken. Right.
Edna Harding [00:22:38]:
Standing righteousness is associated to faith. It's not through works. This. Any man should boast righteousness. The Bible says that they called Abraham and all those other people, I don't remember the name because I don't have in front of me of all those different folks that stepped in faith righteous. So I think the church thinks what the church has been preaching is righteousness is associated with doing good works. But in reality, righteousness has to do with your faith. What is your faith level? You know, it's easy to have faith in it for one day.
Edna Harding [00:23:14]:
It's easy to have faith for maybe 30 days. It's easy to have faith for maybe, I don't know, 45 days or even a year. But can you have faith for 25 years. Can you believe God? After almost 30 years of praying and believing. I just want to share a quick story. My mom and dad petitioned my mom's brothers and sisters to come to the United States of America over, I think 28, 29, maybe 30 years ago, I don't remember. And every day they prayed for her family members to come and to the United States of America. They file paperwork, they petitioned them, they immigrated, you know, and finally this year, 20, 25, my.
Edna Harding [00:23:57]:
I was talking to my mom, my. The other day. The last batch of her siblings are going to be her, Their, their siblings and her spouses are coming to the United States of America as legal immigrants. Legal immigrants, meaning they, they're going to be. They're going to have a visa, they could work here, they could build a life. But that was after 30 years of waiting. You know, some of you are, have been waiting for, I don't know, a year, maybe six months or maybe one week. That's not faith, my friends, okay? Faith comes with a test.
Edna Harding [00:24:33]:
And the test of faith typically is patience and time. And a lot of times we tend to rush God. We tend to say that, you know, all these things, and I don't know the reason. It could be delayed from the enemy, it could be whatever. You know, it could be a lot of reasons. But at the end of the day, we have to trust God, that he's never late, that he's always on time, and that if the reason why the answer hasn't manifested yet and we're doing the right things, could it be that it truly is not the best time for that situation? Now, I'm not God, so I can't simplify the answer for you, but what I can say that when you trust God with the timeliness of everything, he would truly make things new. And the other thing that I wanted to say, my friends, is that the strategy of God, God is typically going as our brain because of our limited thinking, because he knows I know. So, so there's this thing, right? It's like, okay, why do bad things happen to good people? Or why does this happen? Why does he allow this? Why can't all these things? And, and I asked these questions, right? Why does God allow, you know, homicide? Why does, you know, just the other day.
Edna Harding [00:25:59]:
And if I don't know when this episode is going to air, because I tend to record my episodes ahead of time. This past weekend. Oh, no. A few days ago, last Thursday, Charlie Kirk got shot. Now, I don't know what your guys's feelings about Charlie Kirk. But those things happened where the two children are left behind, the wife and I, I didn't understand. I couldn't comprehend like why didn't God stop it? He could do everything right and, and I still don't know the answers. But one thing for sure is that everything that happened after he passed, like all the salvations, all the people who came to know God, all those people who started reading their Bible like he used everything for our good somehow.
Edna Harding [00:26:56]:
And why didn't he. Why didn't. Was there any like a way for them to get back at the killers or whatever? Why weren't they caught? Whatever I said. Could it be that God cares about them too? Could it be that God loves them so much that he wants them to repent because he doesn't want to put them to eternal damnation? Like meaning be in hell if they just let's say because. And one thing. Thank you Holy Spirit. Remember guys, that the enemy comes to kill still and destroy. So it could very well be that a demon possessed and the demon protect got into like spoke to his head, cursed and put a spell on him to say, hey, I want you to do this person.
Edna Harding [00:27:45]:
And then after the demon does with this soul that what he wants them to do, then he just leaves him alone. And then the guy is filled with guilt and shame and all these things. And I don't know, I'm not defending anybody, but if you think of all those people that are involved, you know, with guilty shame and everything, maybe the Lord is calling them to repentance. And I know that's not how we want to think. We want revenge, we want this and that and that. And that's how my family wanted me to be reacting towards these pastors. And that's how my family want to reactive, you know, to my ex husband and things like that. He would abuse me.
Edna Harding [00:28:22]:
He almost tried to kill me. There's so many things, so many stories like I. I can't really go over them, but deep down I know that Jesus loves them too. He doesn't want anybody to perish. No one. Not one soul. So my friend, if that is you, if you are that soul that has not made the Lord God your savior, your friend, your king, he's after you. He's not after your works, he's after your heart.
Edna Harding [00:29:00]:
He knows we're broken people. He knows that we need the Holy Spirit to be able to make the best and right choices. Because works cannot save us. Only the Holy Spirit can. And I can tell you that the decisions that I've made all the good ones that is, was because of the Holy Spirit, and the bad ones was because I didn't deny my flesh. And I say all this to say that when. When we see hardships, when you see things like this, you know the timing of the Lord, I believe, and this is the one. I know I can't prove it, but I believe the timing of the Lord, the reason why it seems like it's delayed for justice is because he truly wants to save everybody and he doesn't want anyone to perish.
Edna Harding [00:29:53]:
And I believe he's patient and he's kind, but he's also just. And at some point, at some point, that person has to deal with reality and make a decision. And I pray if you're listening to this, I just keep going back to. There's someone listening who is not saved, who. Who's, like, rejecting God's love, who does not want to be part of this whole Christianity thing for some reason. You're listening to this podcast. You're like, I don't even know what this is about. I don't even know why I'm here.
Edna Harding [00:30:26]:
I just want to welcome you. Number one, because this is not a coincidence. This is not an accident. And number two, Jesus loves you. He died for you. He doesn't want you to perish. He's not here to take from you. All he wants is to give to you, which is give you all that he desires and plans to prosper you, give you hope and a bright future.
Edna Harding [00:30:48]:
But he can't do that without your submission to him, without your acknowledgment that we need Jesus. So if this is you, just pray real quick. There's no magic words here. This is truly just a prayer from the heart. Lord Jesus, we ask for forgiveness for our sins. We know that we've done wrong because our flesh, Lord God, is dead. There's nothing good in us, Father. But we know, God, that by your grace and through your blood, you will wipe away all our sins, all of our shame, all those things that draws us down, Lord, that's pulling us down.
Edna Harding [00:31:33]:
God will be submitted to you, Father, because we call your son our Lord and Savior. Save us from our sins. Thank you. That you died on a cross, rose again on the third day, and took the keys from Hades and handed us the keys again to have relationship with you. Lord Jesus, I pray that you will be lord of my life and that you will guide me in the narrow path and that I will be bold and courageous in the things ahead in Jesus Name. Amen. For that was a lot longer than I think, than I thought it would be. But I just want.
Edna Harding [00:32:25]:
I really thank you, Holy Spirit. I really want you to know, like, the gravity of that prayer, that you're not just getting an insurance so that you won't go to hell, but this is truly a commitment. And guys, I can tell you, yes, there's a big price to pay, but the reward, the reward, the eternal rewards. I'm talking about the joy you feel, the peace you feel, the strength you feel, the grace you feel in spite of the cost. Nothing can compare us. Nothing can satisfy you than God's love. Absolutely nothing. Absolutely nothing.
Edna Harding [00:33:03]:
And so I know we went off topic here, but I guess the, the thing that I wanted to just emphasize is Job prayed for relief. God didn't seem like he was listening. In fact, he just kept allowing the enemy to do whatever it is to him. And eventually Job got upset at God. And James 1, 3, 4 just explains it that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. That perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking nothing. Remember that delayed breakthrough a lot of times typically develops character, okay? Because in Romans 5, 3, 4, it says, we glory in our sufferings because we know that sufferings produces perseverance, perseverance, character. And character.
Edna Harding [00:33:57]:
Hope. Unanswered prayers also can be protection. The Bible says that the Lord longs to be gracious to you. Isaiah 30, 18. Blessed are all those who wait for him. Remember, guys, this, and I hope, I believe this is going to free you. Waiting is a mercy. It's not punishment.
Edna Harding [00:34:19]:
Trust the Father that he knows exactly what he's doing. And the last but not least, what I love about waiting is that it also builds testimony. Because Revelations 12, 11 says they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony. You cannot overcame something or overcome something without something to overcome. If that makes sense. Right? Your answer prayers today are the seeds for tomorrow's testimony. I. I'm able to share hope and truth and encouragement to my clients and to those people around me who are in struggling times because I've been there.
Edna Harding [00:34:58]:
I understand what it's like to wait on God. I understand to, to. To like, build God's vision in the midst of crisis. I understand all of that. And I also understand and know what God does because of your obedience. So let's get practical real quickly. I just want to share a few tips with you. If you are in that season where you don't understand, like everything that's going on.
Edna Harding [00:35:28]:
You're questioning your everything. You're questioning your fate. You have no clear plan. I want you to do five things, and number one is audit your anchors. Psalms 27 says, Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the Lord our God. Who do you trust? Who are you trusting right now? What are you trusting right now? Audit them and make sure that the only person you're trusting is God and his word. Number two, embrace the mystery. What does that mean? Deuteronomy 29, 29 says, the secret things belong to the Lord our God, but the things revealed belongs to us.
Edna Harding [00:36:05]:
Okay? He will reveal to you the meaning or the why or the purpose somehow, if you still don't know what it is, it's okay. Be okay with mystery. Be okay that he doesn't share with you the secrets. Number three, focus on your character. Proverbs 22:1 says, A good name is more desirable than great riches. There are going to be times in your life that. That you won't. You won't feel as blessed.
Edna Harding [00:36:33]:
But as long as your heart is right before God, that's all that matters. Our name is really our name. If we glorify, God is the best, most important thing, okay? Because no one can steal who we are. They can steal our stuff, but they cannot steal who we are, our identity. Number four, I highly suggest you document your journey. Habakkuk 2. To say, write the vision and make it plain. I documented my journey through my journals.
Edna Harding [00:36:59]:
I documented my journey through my YouTube channel. This really helped me just see the faithfulness of God through it out. And number five, which I feel like I've been saying throughout the whole episode, is trust his timing. Ecclesiastes 3:11 says, he has made everything beautiful in his time. Remember that if. That. If this is you, if this resonates with you, you're in a whirlwind season. And it's absolutely okay.
Edna Harding [00:37:28]:
Because God is in the midst of that whirlwind season. And I promise you, on the other side of that whirlwind season, whirlwind season, it's going to be peace that passes all understanding and joy. That's just. You can't. You can't stop it. It's just going to overflow from out of you. When people look at me now, they always say, like, you're shining bright. You're full of joy.
Edna Harding [00:37:51]:
You're this, you're that. You're this. And I laugh because I'm like, wow, it wasn't always like this. Before that, it was hellhole. But God is good, right? God is good. You know, seek God for wisdom on your season right now. Find peace in this uncertain time and discern what the next steps are without fear. And obey God.
Edna Harding [00:38:14]:
Okay? Obey God. All right, guys. Well, I hope this blessed you. I hope you hear me loud and clear with even with my raspy voice. And I just want to remind you, my friends, that the greatest breakthrough often begins in the most confusing storm. It always does. You see it time and time again. Let's go ahead and close in prayer.
Edna Harding [00:38:36]:
Father God, we just thank you for the wisdom that comes from you, Lord, which is higher than ours. Strengthen every listener, God, to trust you in the whirlwind and to obey even when they don't understand. We ask all of this in Jesus name. Amen. Well, God bless you guys and I'll see you guys next time. Take care. Bye. Bye.
