What is Going in Grace?

Welcome to Going in Grace, a podcast where we go beyond simply understanding God's Word—we explore how to live it out daily, making a meaningful impact in our lives and the lives of those around us.

Welcome back to the podcast. Today’s episode is a little different—it’s a celebration. A moment to pause and say thank you. Thank you to every single person who has tuned in, shared an episode, prayed for me, or simply listened quietly as I’ve walked out obedience to God in 2025.

I see you are tuning in from all over. Whether you’re in the United States, Russia, France, Australia, the Dominican Republic, Vietnam, India, or Tanzania—your presence here means more than you know. You’ve been part of something that started as a whisper from God and grew into a weekly rhythm of surrender, creativity, and spiritual growth.

When God first challenged me to release something weekly, I’ll be honest—it felt like a herculean task. I wasn’t sure I could do it. But I said yes. And that yes has stretched me, strengthened me, and drawn me closer to Him in ways I didn’t expect.

I want to especially thank God, who has helped me do what I could not do on my own. His strength has carried me. His creativity has inspired me. His Spirit has sustained me.

Let’s open the Word together. 1 Thessalonians 5:18 (NKJV) says: “In everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.”

That’s not a suggestion—it’s a command. Gratitude is God’s will for us. Not just when things are easy, but in everything.

And Psalm 100:4 (NKJV) reminds us: “Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, And into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His name.”

Gratitude is how we approach God. It’s the posture of our hearts. And today, mine is full. I also want to encourage you—wherever you are in the world—to do what God is telling you to do. Maybe it feels too big. Maybe it feels too frequent. Maybe you’re unsure if you’re the right person. I get it. But I want to challenge you to pray, seek wise counsel, and then launch out in swift obedience.

Proverbs 3:5–6 (NKJV) says: “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.”

You don’t have to understand it all. You just have to trust Him. He will direct your path. He will provide what you need. He will strengthen you. And when you obey, you’ll find what I’ve found: a deeper reliance on God. A dependence on His creativity. A rhythm of grace that reshapes your spiritual life.

Philippians 4:13 (NKJV) says: “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”

That includes the things that feel impossible. That includes the things that stretch us. That includes the weekly obedience, the quiet yes, the bold leap. So thank you again—for walking with me, for listening, for growing alongside me. I pray this podcast has encouraged you, challenged you, and reminded you that you are not alone.

And speaking of reminders—December is going to look a little different. We’re launching a special series called “Reminder to Rest.” Each episode will be just two minutes long, focused on the importance of taking breaks, unplugging, and recharging. My hope is that by shortening the time you spend tuning in, I’m actually encouraging you to rest more. To breathe. To reflect. To be still.

Matthew 11:28 (NKJV) says: “Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.”
That’s Jesus’ invitation. And I want to echo it. Come. Rest. Receive.

So as we wrap up today, I leave you with one final verse—Psalm 118:24 (NKJV):
“This is the day the Lord has made; We will rejoice and be glad in it.”
Let’s rejoice. Let’s be glad. Let’s walk in gratitude and obedience, together.
