Tefillin, black leather boxes containing holy parchments, are worn by Jewish men during weekday morning prayers. They serve as a physical symbol of our bond with God, a bond that transcends time and space.
While donning Tefillin might seem like a ritualistic habit, it's more than that. It's a symbol of Jewish identity and commitment. The Tefillin on our arm, wrapped seven times, represents the idea of God's unity enveloping us, while the Tefillin on our head, near our brains, signifies that our intellect should be guided by Torah wisdom.
