What is Build in Public Daily?

In this show, we share the struggles and challenges of growing and building stuff.

Okay, here's Build in Public for August 6th, 2026.

Today was a big podcasting day.

I had a couple of different podcast meetings, and the BE Podcast Network, of which this show is a proud member, is doing well and looking at some new hosts for some shows.

And if you're listening to this and have thought, "I'd like to start a podcast," this might be the thing for you. So reach out to me at Jethro Jones, pretty much everywhere.

Also, an exciting and sad thing is: I live in Spokane, Washington. These fires have been pretty awful, but one of the real estate guys here, Matt Brunner, put together a thing called Fire Relief.

Visit https://projectspokane.com/fire-relief and go check that out.

What that's doing is matching people up with people who have been displaced from their homes.

Thankfully, we were safe, but a lot of people weren't. About 650 people have been displaced at the current count, and that is pretty awesome, what he's doing.

You may not be in Spokane, but a lot of people need help right now and definitely some prayers.

So that's what I worked on today.

And thanks for listening. I'll check in tomorrow.
