Episode 13a - The Uniqueness Quiz and Determining Your ARE
THE UNIQUENESS QUIZ
If you go to modelinggod.com, you will see a button at the top of the page that says “Uniqueness Quiz.” When you click that, it will take you to a page that says the following:
“At birth, each person receives two unique gifts from God, even if they are an unbeliever. Our WHY gift is our driving force, while our HOW gift is the method we use to connect with others. By taking this quiz, you can identify your unique gifts and gain a big-picture direction of who you ARE. Don't miss this opportunity to uncover your true potential!”
This is below a title that states this comes from Romans 12:6-8.
6 Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, whether prophecy, let us prophesy according to the proportion of faith; 7 Or ministry, let us wait on our ministering: or he that teacheth, on teaching; 8 Or he that exhorteth, on exhortation: he that giveth, let him do it with simplicity; he that ruleth, with diligence; he that sheweth mercy, with cheerfulness.
While this information has been shared for decades, we have made two adjustments. First, we have reordered these seven from past to future:
-Prophecy/Perceiver
-Teacher
-Mercy/Compassion
-Giver
-Minister/Server
-Ruler/Administrator
-Exhorter
Second, the passage really speaks about the effect the person wants others to experience. We call this the person’s WHY. We also identify HOW the person goes about delivering the effect. We call this the person’s HOW.
We use this information to help people improve their interactions with others, whether it is at work, with relatives, friendships, or marriages. The tension we feel with people is the difference in our WHYs, while the relief or settling feeling is the similarity in our HOWs.
To wrap up this section, here are the Motivational Spiritual Gifts of the most crucial beings in the Bible:
-God the Father: Exhorter-Perceiver
-Jesus: Server-Server
-Holy Spirit: Administrator-Server
-Devil: Administrator-Perceiver
CONVERTING GAINS AND DRAINS INTO AN ARE
Preparation Before starting this process, ensure that the individual has completed their assignments by writing both their Gains and Drains lists. Without these, the steps below cannot be followed effectively.
Have you written your lists?
First, we’ll look at John's original process, and then we’ll look at the more efficient process using the AI approach. It’s good to see the original process to understand how to do this effectively. The AI approach is only as good as the information you submit into AI.
The Five Steps of the Original Process
1. Read the Gains List (and only the Gains List).
-Carefully review the Gains list to identify patterns and themes.
2. Categorize the Gains List into 4-8 Groups or Themes. Examples of themes could be:
-Outdoor Activities
-Structure and Organization
3. Write Opposites for Each Group. For each of the 4-8 groups, determine what the opposite might look like. Examples:
-Outdoor Activities → Indoor Isolation
-Structure and Organization → Chaos and Messiness
4. Confirm Using the Drains List. Read through the Drains list to see if it aligns with the opposites you identified. The Drains should confirm the opposites of your 4-8 groups.
-If the Drains do not confirm your categories, revisit steps 1 and 2. Consider adjusting the categories to better align with the Drains list.
5. Organize the 4-8 Groups into Two Conjunctives. Combine the categories into two overarching themes. Examples:
-Systematic Planning
-Outdoor Engagement
The key would be to see how each context you experience could be Systematic Planning and Outdoor Engagement.
Additional Tips
-Use a thesaurus to explore different word options for your categories (https://www.thesaurus.com/).
-Choose the words that resonate with you and feel right to you.
-Define your chosen words clearly to ensure they align with your intended meaning.
Using AI (Chat GPT)
ChatGPT is like a superpowered search engine. ChatGPT works for this type of work because it’s designed to analyze patterns in text, organize information, and suggest logical groupings or opposites. ChatGPT will streamline this process. Go to (https://chatgpt.com/) and follow these five steps:
1. Prompt for Categorization: Enter the following prompt into Chat GPT:
“Turn this list of activities that give me positive energy into 4-8 categories. Have each category labeled with Two-Word Titles.”
-Then paste your Gains list and submit the prompt.
2. Find Opposites: Once Chat GPT provides the categories, enter this prompt:
“What would the titles be that are the opposite of these categories?”
3. Confirm with Drains: Enter the next prompt:
“Would the following list fit into the categories of the opposites?”
-Then paste your Drains list and submit the prompt.
4. Validate the Results: Review Chat GPT’s response to ensure the Drains accurately confirm the categories derived from the Gains list. If they don’t, refine your categories and repeat the process.
5. Create Two Conjunctives: Enter the final prompt:
“Organize the following categories into only two two-word titles.”
-Then paste the confirmed categories (those derived from the gains list after the first prompt) into Chat GPT and submit the prompt.
-This will result in you having two conjunctives resulting from the gains and drains lists.
Final Tips
-Use Chat GPT as a thesaurus to explore synonyms and refine your word choices.
-Ensure your final categories and conjunctives feel authentic and meaningful to you.
-Double-check that each word is clearly defined and aligns with your personal definitions.
By following these steps, you can effectively convert your Gains and Drains lists into a great starting point for your Unique Spiritual ARE.
It may take some practice working with Chat GPT. Or maybe you’d rather do the work of categorizing yourself. Either way, if you follow these steps, it will be a great benefit to determine your antennae that God speaks directly into!
