Welcome back to The State. Many of you have already heard the tragedy that occurred on our beautiful campus here at Michigan State University. For those who are wondering, the community of MSU experienced a mass shooting through different areas on campus. 3 people have been confirmed dead and 5 people with severe injuries.
With this occurrence, we are continuing to collect ourselves. MSU classes, sporting events, and all other activities have been canceled until Thursday and classes will be canceled for the remainder of the week which leads to the canceling of The State podcast for the rest of the week.

Our hearts go out to all those who were injured, deceased, and of course, those who are traumatized and scared by this occurrence.
