About Me

You know those shows that feature some dude who gets turned into a werewolf and then spends the entire movie/series complaining about it? Eff those guys! I will gladly take on the burden of being a werewolf, as I legit see no downside to being one.

Anyway, I digress. Throughout my career, I have been a jack of all trades, master of none. I have worked in fields as diverse as customer service, IT, and medical credentialing. I have been writing on and off over the years, but have finally decided to get serious about it. I participated in my first NaNoWriMo in November 2020 and won (which was a pretty big deal for me, if not for anyone else).

When not writing or working, I can be found hosting the Empty Pages podcast, and co-hosting the Tricky Fish podcast (along with my daughter), learning to play guitar, and hanging out with my partner in crime, a Golden Retriever named Lord Bark Vader.

I am recording this to let you know that there is no new episode for this week, and I do apologize if you were looking forward to it. I am currently working on a story for an open submission call and the deadline is drawing near. The loss of four weeks due to a really bad pain flare up has set me back.

The theme is "wild west" or "weird west", I don't remember. I know that it's for horror stories set in the wild west. When I started this story, it was really iffy on my part, since I'm not particularly a fan of westerns. However, I am super excited for how it's turning out. Anyway, between this and the day job, I just couldn't find the time to work on my story AND put together an episode for you.

So, for all of you return listeners, thank you for your patience. I will be back with a new episode next week.

For any new listeners, I do apologize that your first episode is basically me saying there is no episode. However, on the bright side, this gives you a chance to get caught up on the past episodes, and then join us for a new one next week.
