00:00:00 Speaker: Father, we ask you now as our minds are still on, our thoughts are brought into subjection to you, that you will lead us in tonight into the truth of what we need to set us totally free as a person in everything that you have made us free and through Calvary, to be also in a position to minister that liberty to those that are bound. In Jesus precious name, Amen. Philippians chapter two. Let me just say before I begin, I waited on the Lord at the beginning of this year for my own church. As of this moment, I'm leading the eldership of my church and and forming a local eldership. And, um, and now they've taken over. And so the eldership, I make the suggestions and they make the decisions and they've grown tremendously. So I'm released and I'm free to minister where I want to minister. And the church goes on just the same, though, we have something six to eight international ministers there in the church. Anyway, going around the world, some of you are know, some of you know some of our ministers and they move all over the world. And so what I'm saying is this, that I first minister that message there in my own fellowship, and I've been told I've just read by a letter that it's still affecting others. People have got the tape and they've listened to it over again. Tremendous effect on me straight away, because I don't believe today any preacher that is preaching a message that is not affecting him or changing him. I don't believe that message and that preacher is going anywhere. If the preacher doesn't need the message that he's preaching, he shouldn't be preaching it. And if it's not affecting him, then it's not going to affect other people. Nobody's going to be convinced that this is the message unless it is actually affecting him. You can ask my wife and she's the best. The wives are the best judge. If there's any change, They noticed it straight away, don't they? And all the husbands said Amen. And so then I ministered this message and I said, who is this message for? He said, it's for the whole world. But he said, because you're going to New Zealand, I want you committed to this message. I want it working in your lives, and I want you to give it at the end of every series that you have. So I've kept it for the end in Auckland. And my message is the Lordship of Jesus Christ. You find in Philippians chapter two. And reading from verse five well-known Scripture to most of you. Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus, who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God, but made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of man, and being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. The whole reason. The whole reason. That we should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. Stay with me for a moment, folks. The district. Is to the glory of God the Father. My Heavenly Father, desires more than anything else at this point in history and in time, that the Lordship of Jesus Christ be seen by this whole world. We understand that the Lordship of Jesus Christ is exercised in heaven. It's exercised also over the church as we submit to that lordship. But the world has yet to see it. But the Lordship of Jesus Christ must first be experienced by the individual and then by the church, and then the world will be affected to the degree that they'll see the authority and the power that God has given us. For the church is God's architecture on earth. We represent the body of Christ as every individual, not just certain people. In certain places. We represent God's authority on earth inasmuch as we're under his authority or his lordship. And so when people see that we are in divine order under control, someone else is controlling our lives. When they see that and they see the outcome of that, control is totally liberty. It's total liberty in every aspect of our lives. God does not want to control that which is right. He wants to control that which is wrong. He wants he doesn't. He's not a killjoy, but he wants to save in all these matters so that God has the final word in everything. And that's very vital for the church at the moment. The reason why there's so little power in the body of Christ when I call, when I speak about the church, I'm not talking about any specific denomination. I'm talking about the body of Christ, the ecclesia. Everyone that is born again of the spirit, those that are separated unto God by a born again or a spiritual life. That's the people. I'm talking to, the body of Christ. And they're in every denomination. They're not a denomination, they're in every denomination and not a denomination. And it's not the church is not a building for those who are here for the first time, believe it or not, the church is not a building. Uh, we are the building. The people that are in the building. In other words, we are living stones, a holy habitation of God, built up for a holy temple in the Lord. That's that's us. That's the body of Christ. And if you get that concept, then you won't misunderstand what I'm saying. There's no building in the world that will ever sanctify people. It is the people that sanctify the building. It is the people that are God's building. God does not dwell in God does not dwell in temples made with hands. Amen. So this place is sanctified, sanctified by virtue of the fact that we are here. And because we are here, Jesus is here also, where two or three are gathered together in his name, there he is in the midst, and therefore this place is sanctified whatever purpose it was used for, before that purpose ceases. Any other influence in this building that was here before ceases, because the influence of God is greater. And so when people come and sit on these seats after you've left, who knows? They'll sit down and say, oh, Hallelujah, glory be to God. Amen. I believe that we should be affecting people and we affecting Are places much more than they are affecting us. I am not affected by places. I soon change that and I've been in some real doozies. Believe you me, even in New Zealand, where the where the. When I first came here, where the roof was leaking, you could see the stars out and all the rest. And it didn't take away. We have to be more spiritual there and less religious. Oh, sorry. I didn't mean that to hurt so badly. Me? Did it hurt? Oh. That's good. So you can love me a little more now. The most important message there for today is the lordship of Jesus Christ. Not as a message, but as a very definite experience. Now I'm going to be asking some questions in a few moments, but first, I'd like to consider one or two scriptures in Luke chapter four, as in Luke chapter six verse forty six, you'll turn with me, like as many people turning their The Bible by turning the leaves of the Bible over as possible. So we circulate the air as well. It's called Economising. Luke chapter six. That's Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. Acts and Romans, follow on. Have a look at chapter six. Okay. You got it. Verse forty six. And why call ye me, Lord? Lord, and do not the things which I say. I'm going to leave it there. Why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things that I say? You cannot acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord of your life unless you are doing what he says. No matter how much we sing in a meeting and I've done it, he is Lord, he is Lord. That does not mean that he is Lord. You can't make him Lord by singing. He is Lord. He can't make him Lord by just believing that he is Lord. You make him Lord very deliberately by submitting in every circumstance when you could submit to your own feelings, your own desires, your own temper, your own will. When you submit there, that's where you make him, Lord. And that's the hard part. Now also in Matthew chapter seven, verse twenty one and twenty two, twenty three to twenty three, Matthew twenty. Matthew chapter seven. Not everyone that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven, but he that doeth the will of my father which is in heaven. Jesus was very, very specific here. Scribes and the Pharisees and all the rest of them. They were keeping the law and the letter of the law, and the traditions, and all the rest, that they, that they'd already, um, conjured up for their own benefit. Many will say to me in that day, and this is going to be a great shock to many, many people who think because they are doing miracles and all sorts of things that they're going to one day end up with Jesus. No, it's not what you do for him that will guarantee you a standing in heaven. It's what he has done for you. Amen. There's nothing in the world that you can do for God that will ever give you a standing whereby you're acceptable. You must depend totally and rely on what Jesus Christ has done for you on the cross. And if that is your sole foundation of faith for getting to heaven, you've made it already. And he will say in that day, Lord, Lord, we have prophesied in thy name, and in thy name we have cast out devils, and in thy name done many wonderful works and miracles, and so forth, many wonderful works. And what does the Lord say? I never knew you. Okay. Sorry, I just turned over too quickly. And then will I? Then will I profess unto them, I never knew you. Depart from me, ye workers of iniquity. I never knew you, you workers of iniquity. They are very strong words indeed, because they didn't have a personal spiritual relationship with the Lord. And let me say this, there is a difference in ministry. Many, many years ago I loved my ministry very, very much and I lived off it till one day God said to me, you love your ministry and the result of it much more than you do me, and you're living off it. And I had to come back into my personal relationship with Jesus and begin to live off my relationship with him. I had to make him Lord of my life, so that outside of my ministry, there was control also by His Lordship. It is very, very important that when a minister gets off the platform, he is no longer, uh, believe it or not, he's no longer able to appropriate that anointing that he had when he was up there ministering. But when he gets off the platform, it's a different. There's a difference. He is then totally dependent on his personal relationship with Jesus. And if a man has to run away after he's preached, I'm always suspicious of him. Amen. Amen. The man hides in a hotel or motel. I'm always suspicious of him, too. I'm with a family. Praise God. They are putting up with me or putting me up. I'm not quite sure, but what I'm saying today is our spiritual lives must be transparent. We must allow our spiritual lives to be exposed to everyone as a brother, to a brother, to a sister, so that people will not put us on pedestals, but realize that like Jesus, he came to serve. And if you're in the ministry, you're a servant. And Peter made that quite clear. And I like what he said about it. It's very important. We do not have a superior attitude. I'm not standing up here looking down at anyone. I'm examining myself through what I'm saying very carefully. And if I miss anything, I assure you my wife won't. Now I want to I want to bring this to another point. Also in one Corinthians chapter twelve, verse three, no man can say that Jesus Christ is Lord, but by the Holy Ghost. Wherefore I give unto you to understand that no man speaketh by the Spirit of God calls Jesus accursed, and that no man can say that Jesus Christ is Lord, but by the Holy Ghost. Now this is very, very essential. For all of us here tonight, because many, many people have said, Jesus Christ is Lord, but there's no way he's Lord unless you have a revelation of your commitment to that lordship. Unless you actually know at some point where you have committed yourself to that lordship, where you've accepted him as Lord. I'm going to put it this way we accept him as Savior, but we make him Lord. We accept him as Savior, but we make him Lord. Now I meet a lot of Christians who've got a Savior, but he is not Lord. If he is Lord, then he is the controlling person in your life. You're no longer under your own control. You're under someone else's control. He is Lord, therefore over everything that you have submitted to him. And this is very vital. And the question that I'd like to ask you now is if Jesus Christ said to Peter, flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but my father which is in heaven. When Peter said, thou art the Christ, the son of the living God. Peter didn't know who Jesus was except that the father revealed him to to Peter. If the father hadn't revealed who Jesus was, Peter would never have known. It wasn't that he was special, but he reached out for knowledge and revelation. And the Bible tells us clearly that the father says no one knows the son, but whom the father reveals him to, and no one knows the father, but whom the son reveals him to. And this the Holy Ghost that does the revealing does the revealing today. And you must have a revelation of Jesus Christ, not just a Savior. Praise God, he saved us from our sins, but as Lord, he keeps us free from what he saved us from. That's more important to continue and not just to sit in your salvation and say, I'm on my way to heaven. Won't it be wonderful there? Not so hot here. But I can assure you, you're not here just to sit still like so many singing, standing on the promises while they're sitting in the promises. God wants us to move on. To move on. And you can't move on against the things that are against you. Except under the Lordship of Jesus Christ. I could not go into India except unto the Lordship of Jesus Christ. Why? Because if there's anything that is not under his lordship, the devil will attack it. Or make sure that you'll trip over or fall in that particular area. Today, it is so vital for the church that we come under the lordship and the control of the Lordship of Jesus Christ. Oh so vital. Then you are free from everything else that has lorded it over you. Just let's look at that in Isaiah twenty six, verse thirteen and fourteen. And for many people here, by the way, and also in that prophecy, the Bible doesn't say that the anointing will break the yoke. It says if you read it, the anointing destroys. The yoke can't be mended again. The yoke. So the yoke is on the devil. Just thought I'd say that this passage. Isaiah twenty twenty six, verse thirteen and fourteen. O Lord our God, other lords beside thee have dominion over us. By thee only will we make mention of thy name. They are dead. They shall not live. They are deceased. They shall not rise. Therefore hast thou visited and destroyed them, and made all their memories to perish. Other lords, O Lord our God, other lords beside thee, have had dominion. And tonight I believe they're going to lose their dominion, whatever has lorded it over you is going to lose its dominion. We'll come into that in a minute. One more scripture I'd like you to look at. And that's two Corinthians, chapter three, verse seventeen. Just bear with me for a moment. So this is on tape so that people can look up and study the scriptures in the context. I don't take a text out of context to make it a pretext. Two Corinthians chapter three, verse seventeen. Now the Lord is that spirit. And where the spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. And Paul, giving the contrast between the law of Moses and the liberty of the spirit. Now the Lord is that spirit, and where the spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. I'm going to do a little different translation here. Now the Lord is that spirit where the spirit is, Lord, there is liberty. And I say that again. Listen very carefully. Now this is for every meeting Where the spirit is Lord, and in everyone's life where the spirit is Lord, there is liberty. I have been to meetings where the spirit is not Lord, where the Spirit of God can't get in anywhere. I've been in other meetings where there's so much liberty and it's under no one's control whatsoever, and all the congregation have enjoyed is liberty. Liberty and more liberty. And if, if, if the spirit was Lord in that meeting, we would have gone on into depths of prophecy and the word the body functioning. And I'll say this, that in the days to come the body of Christ. And that's where your future is in the body of Christ, committed to where you should be, where God has put you in or built you in, committed there. And I believe then, that as the body of Christ comes under the Lordship of Jesus Christ, where the spirit is, Lord, then you're going to have a new program every meeting, and nobody will get bored and no one will know, will know what's going to happen, and everybody will be totally dependent on the Lord. Do you know what would happen if everybody took the Lordship of Jesus Christ in a meeting? Seriously? First of all, you would never have come to this meeting without praying. It's kind of quiet after a while, doesn't it? You never come to this meeting without being right with the Lord. When you know to be right with the with the Lord. That means that this this day you have praised the Lord. You have acknowledged Jesus Christ as Lord in your life. You have read your word, studied it, and spent time with the Lord. You have fellowship also with your wife or your family or whoever you've shared. You've reached out. In other words, you have a spiritual life outside of a meeting and you bring your spiritual life to the meeting. Oh, if only we understood. You see, when the Ark of the covenant returned to Israel, the ark representing the presence of God, when it returned to Israel, it returned with the singers and all the the instruments that were playing. And it was so wonderful what was happening. Music was there in the foremost ushering in the presence of God. And music now has a ministry. That's why I love these young couple. Our dear brother told me that he was saved in one of the meetings seven years ago. LED our worship because it's sincere and they're not entertaining. In other words, it's a ministry and it frees us from all the other influences that are upon us this day and what we've been seeing and hearing and all the rest, so that we're totally free. And music has a vital part to play. And we must believe it, because the ark of the presence of God was ushered in by music, and music also has a ministry like David had a ministry in music when he played that evil spirit that tormented Saul left. So there is power in music when we are playing it in the spirit under the anointing of God. And that music and that talent and ability is under his lordship, it will free people who are influenced by demon spirit of evil spirits and demons. It will free them so they can hear God speaking, and they can hear the word and receive it in the name of Jesus. When the Ark of the covenant returned to Israel, it didn't come directly to Israel. It stopped at the house of Obed-edom, which translated means the the servant of Edom. It stopped right there in a home, and in that home it changed everything. If you had the Ark of the covenant in your front room, you wouldn't be calling your husband what you're calling him, or your children or anybody else in that house. You'd be walking very carefully. You'd know that the Ark was in the front room or whatever room, the living room, dining room or whatever. And everything that that man did, because of the presence of God in his home, it prospered. It prospered. And we have come to our churches, our fellowships and our meetings, and we've taken all we can take from them to bring it home, to build our homes. Well, that's wrong. That's the wrong way round. You find it in God at home before the Lord during the week. You prove God and you bring all that you find to his house. To build his house, you bring the depth of God's presence that you've got in your home to when you come together. And we have the depth of God's presence here tonight that we've come in. When people complain to me and say, Brother Greenwood, that meeting was very depressive. I said, well, when you bring your two percent of depression to the meeting and you've already got fifty percent there, then you've got fifty two percent, and that's what you'll take home. You'll take home what you brought to the meeting, and you'll take home a lot more of what you brought. So bring the joy of the Lord and hallelujah. When the chorus starts, you rip away. Glory be to God. And spending half an hour before the meeting warming people up that day is gone. We must take God seriously. And if we believe that the meeting is under the Lordship of Jesus Christ, and when we come, there's an awe and respect for the presence of God. Even if you don't have much for the preacher, at least have some for the Lord, and he will honor you. You can't get anything from the preacher. You can still get something from the Lord. Have a lovely time with Jesus. Just cover him and love him. You're all doing that now. That's wonderful. And when the Lordship of Jesus Christ comes back into the meetings and the fellowship and everything else, and man stops ruling and leading and doing what he wants to do in his own particular way. And I tell you, you're going to have programs that you wouldn't believe. Well, I remember in our church, we nobody leads the meetings. The meetings just start in the Holy Ghost and the end in the Holy Ghost, and that's been going on for over twenty years, twenty five years. And the point is, I'm not saying that this is the program for everyone, by the way. This is how God led us. Everyone is different, but only God knows where you are. And we have a lot of prophecies in the beginning which clear up any mess that's there. In other words, if visitors have come in and they're not right with God, we're soon clear that up in a few moments and they get right with God. We follow through in the prophecies and pray for them and get them sorted out like one Swedish couple came one morning. And I'll never forget this because he's a lovely, dear brother now. He wasn't saved, but his wife was and she loved the Lord, and she was going on with the Lord, filled with the spirit, and she got him to come to the meeting. He's such a lovely, beautiful person. Outside of being saved, he didn't really feel his need for salvation. He came along to that meeting that morning and the dear old lady stood up and prophesied. Said, thus saith the Lord, thou art a knight who has not yet yielded up thy sword. And if you will yield up your sword this day to me, saith the Lord, and I will take your life and use it, and put the sword of the spirit in your hand, or something else, a greater weapon than that which you've yielded up. Anyway, he came forward and knelt down and got gloriously saved and filled with the Holy Ghost. He was a Swedish knight, the only knight we had in the meeting. He'd been knighted by the King of Sweden. He was a knight. Hallelujah. He was also then Minister of Defence for the North of Sweden. And he's ministered in conferences with me. And he's now in, in charge of, I think, one of the sections of NATO in Israel. Amen. A man filled with the Holy Ghost who can hear God speak. He came forward. We'll get him by the gifts of the spirit when the Holy Ghost and the spirit is Lord in that meeting, he'll dig him out. Amen. You'll be surprised what happens. That's happening in a small measure. And don't rush it, because a lot of people are led by the spirit. They're rushing things and rushing people who are not yet matured enough or open enough, or under control of the Lordship of Jesus Christ to let the meeting go to the to the people. That's very difficult today. So don't don't give your pastors a hard time, but pray that the Lordship of Jesus Christ will be in control of the meeting, and that will be a fantastic meeting. Oh, what a program he's got. Hallelujah! Amen. You can put it up on the wall so the devil can see it. Where he knows where to interrupt. And amen. When you get it from. The Holy Ghost is right there directly to the need. And you won't know what hit you. Anyway, that's. That's as far as I want to go on that one. Now, are you ready? Now, this is going to be hard searching, and I ask you to stay with me. Now, I'm going through this with you. Okay. Here is the question that God asked me. Has any part of your life slipped from underneath the lordship of Jesus Christ? That's the question. And I'm going to ask it to you right now. You go back to your salvation and you know how much you were saved, how much you repented, and you turn from everything and the change that took place in your life. But can you remember a period in your life when you were subject to the Lordship of Jesus Christ, and where every part of your life was subject to the Lordship of Jesus Christ? The charismatic movement brought a lot of liberty, but brought some people from underneath the Lordship of Jesus Christ. I'm sorry to say that is true. Now, is there any part of your life tonight that you've allowed to slip from underneath the Lordship of Jesus Christ? I want you to go with me now on this little journey. Will you do that? Now, the first area that God gave me was, is he Lord of our minds? Now, a lot of people have never considered this. Is he Lord of our minds? What do you mean? Is he lord of what we think? Now, I was just resting today and meditating, and I noticed that my mind wandered and it wandered into an area, and it only got in there. Just a few thoughts, and I pulled it back again. I said, are underneath the Lordship of Jesus Christ. Now you can tell if your mind is under the Lordship of Jesus, because you are not free to think any old garbage that you want to think. You don't allow your mind to wander any old place. You don't allow your mind to pull down, to criticize and destroy. You don't allow your thinking to go further than that. You can tell it's under the Lordship of Jesus Christ, because there is all of a sudden a pull. You've gone too far. There's a poll. There's a check. That's the word I want. There's a check in your spirit. You know you've gone too far in what you think. Now, a lot of people think in the negative. They think in the wrong thing altogether. They think in the wrong areas. And they wonder why they've got problems. Because Jesus Christ is not Lord over what we think. I'm going to go on a little further. Is he Lord over what we read? Come on. If he's going to be Lord over our minds, everything that we put in into our minds, there must be a check on checking point. Or can you read any old garbage and get no correction from father or from the Lordship of Jesus Christ? I mean, can you read any old book of no matter what it is, can you, even when you're reading your paper, can you read the garbage in there? Some of the stuff that you don't need to read? Can you read it without anyone checking you? Then you have allowed what you read to slip from under the Lordship of Jesus Christ. Folks, that's so vital because you're going to have a problem with your mind. You're going to have a real problem with your mind. And so many Christians here do have a problem with the mind. The Lord said so. And in this country and in our country, in other countries, a problem. They're trying to get deliverance all the time from the things that build up in their lives. And how did they get into their lives through their thinking, through what they read? Okay. Is the Lord over what we see, what we allow ourselves to see? I know there's photographs of magazines as pornographic material. There's a whole lot of things. Or you're just seeing how far the devil has gone. You know, you're trying to keep up to date. Don't make any excuses, because once you get that garbage in there, it'll stay there unless you bring it, unless you get it cleansed and dealt with and it'll it'll pester you and come into your dreams and come into your emotions, and it'll affect you and your desires, and you're going to have a real problem. And a lot of people have a problem because Jesus Christ is not Lord over what they see. They allow themselves and their eyes to see things that they shouldn't see. Their adverts, there are things like that. And on television in particular, they allow themselves to see things and you know very well it's wrong. You know very well what you're allowing in there is going to quench the Spirit of God, and you're going to have a problem getting free from the emotional effect of it. And the garbage in your mind will begin to create other things as well. Folks, this is the truth. Jesus Christ has got to come back in His lordship over what we see, over what we see. You know that you should switch it off. I'm not against television. That is not my purpose to run down the media in any form. But I believe Christians should be under control in what they see, what they read, and what they think. Also, is he Lord over what we hear? Now, this is a real toughie and I've gone through something. Now, I'm going to give a few warnings tonight from the Holy Ghost. And I got em while I was waiting today. If you hear anything about anyone, are you free to hear it? In other words, do you delight in hearing it? Are you glad to hear it? Do you need to hear it? Do you need to hear a whole lot of garbage about your neighbor, your brother, your sister, or one minister or another, or anything of the sort? Do you need to hear it? Do you ever ask yourself why the person why the person is speaking to you in the first place? Now, the Holy Ghost said, I'm going to hold people responsible today. You tell the person that you that you're listening to, brother, have you gone to that brother and spoken to about it? Have you gone to that sister? Have you put it right with them? The whole thing. Why are you telling me, brother? What is the purpose of you giving me this information? Why are you pulling down this brother or sister or this circumstance? Why are you doing it, brother? Ask him that and ask him to repent and pray and go and see the brother concerned. And put it right before God first, and then put before him. Now that's the truth. Is he? Is he, Lord, over what we hear and we hear a whole lot of garbage. You can switch on the radio, radio, and you can hear it. And you know very well some people are polluting their whole system with some of the what we call music today. All I call it is the Devil's rock. And God has only one rock and that's the rock. Christ Jesus and any other rock is shamrock. I believe you can listen and your spirit, you will be polluted by it, because you will be spoiled. Because you won't be able to hear the music that God intends. Praise God you're getting a Christian uh, radio station or, uh. Praise God for that. And you support it, too. You haven't given already. I'll put a plug in there for, um, for Bill Zabriskie, who is a good friend of mine. And, uh, put a plug in there. I'll put a plug in for anyone. Amen. I've been on television last year. Was it in America? Three times. I had to put a plug in for another program also. But I believe that today that, um, we can provide these things. If you're going to hear something, let's hear the good things. If you're going to see something, let's see. It's a good thing. And if you're going to think, then why don't you think on these things whatsoever? Things are pure kind and all the rest. What is it? There's a whole list of them we have. Yes. You're reading them off. That's good. Why don't we think on these things if we're going to think it's so important? And is he Lord over what you say? Paul, I I've been deeply hurt in in the last few years and I'm hurt also for people. The moment you start saying something about someone, you've had it now. But I must give this warning. And this is where it came first. What you hear? Don't. Don't let it go any further, please. Because if you if you listen to it, then you're going to repeat it. If he is Lord over what you hear, you will start getting a funny feeling and you will find getting a bad taste in your mouth. And you say, brother, do you need to talk about that person like that? Do you need to say that, brother? Do you need to say that? Is there any need to? And you will find. You may shake him, and you may really minister to him on that point, or her or whoever. Now, on what you're saying. I was in a certain country, and I can't mention this because it's happened very recently, and I was in a certain church and I this grieves my heart and I hate it, but it's happened to me in my past. I As in a certain church. And I ministered all through that week, and I praised God for what God gave me. When I left the next Sunday, the minister was up there. He denounced me as a false prophet, and what I had said was a whole lot of rubbish. And it was only ten minutes into his message on chopping me up into little pieces. He said it will not affect me. And he got sick in the pulpit and he died two days later. A priest came to tell me and he just said, please don't mention anything. No names, because you won't know where that is. I go to so many countries in the world. And that really grieves me. I am not glad when I hear an enemy who has said something against me, or anything else like that has been hurt or destroyed. I don't want God to do anything against anyone. And just recently, there was someone else who did the same thing. And I can't mention this either. I wish I could. And this person destroyed my relationship with several fellowships, and it really deeply hurt me when people who knew me before couldn't face me and they didn't know what to say. And the Lord said, don't destroy that man, because I have faith to do so. In other words, have faith for the Lord to deal with him. But I don't want to. And there was nothing in me. And I praise God for that. And I said, Lord, I pray for him now, and I love him, and I pray that you'll speak to him and protect him, Lord. That ministry is, the Lord said, was precious to him and his ministry, and I lifted him up in the Lord for his ministry's sake and not to be destroyed. I've entered a new relationship with all my minister friends in this city in particular, and I love them all. I know they don't all love me and that's their problem, not mine. But I have to find a place in God where I'm not critical of them and what they say. And I hear it, I hear it. I've got a tremendous grapevine. People love telling me things what other people said. Love it. I don't know why. Or they write to me or it comes to me in England. I get it anyway. A terrific ear to the grapevine. But praise the Lord. That means God wants me to pray for that person and protect him. Not to hate him, but to find a way to get back at him. All I know a few things about him. Oh yes, he said. Well, just wait a minute. Let me go to work. No. Folks in these days listen very carefully in these of close relationship with each other. Please cover your brother and sister. And when they fall, or they go wrong or something like that, please bring your mouth underneath the lordship of Jesus Christ. I knew she'd fall anyway. She was loose. I knew she'd fall. Did you pray for her? No. Well, she. That might be the reason why she fell. Did you love her? Did you reach out to her and him? The family? Folks, if we don't get back into loving and caring, if we don't bring our all our all our conversations back under the Lordship of Jesus Christ, we're going to be so destructive with our mouth in the body of Christ, we won't need a devil. We'll be doing it for him. Now come on. This is so vital. There are a lot of people today who are changing. God is changing their lives, and there are a lot of fellowships that are changing. Some people say, well, they've gone off on this track. I never give up on anyone. Anything that is wrong is not wrong. Permanently, permanently. Only that which is right is permanent. God can change that which is wrong. Cover that which is wrong so you can have fellowship with the people concerned until God can deal with that which is wrong. While you're fellowshipping with that which is right, so you're not involved in it. That's why God won't allow us to be judges and man judge me. And he judged me and all, and it was terrible. And he went out of his mind. And God sent me to him to bring him back into the ministry and to love him and to pay his bills. I had to sell my car to pay his bills. God has made me a watchman over these people. And so I'm reaching out to love my enemies, those who are against me or whatever, because I don't want anything to happen to them. Not anymore. I've been in the meetings with a dear brother who wouldn't wouldn't allow this at all. I remember a methodist minister came to him and said, brother, I got three elders or they're three. Yeah, three elders in my church who are against the move of the Holy Spirit. And they've done everything to turn the people against me, and they've done so many things. And this guy went on like that in the ministry, and he asked this friend of mine, would he pray? And my friend was one of these old fashioned. Preachers and prayers. And he got down and he said, now look, brother, I'm willing to pray that God will deal with these three men, but are you willing to accept that God should also deal with them by removing them, even if it's by death? And the minister said, what? Yes. They're in the way of what the Holy Ghost is doing. They've had five months or so of warfare against the Holy Spirit. Are you willing that I should pray this? I won't pray unless you are. And the guy said the minister said yes. And he prayed. And all three of them were gone in one week. And that's the truth before God. Then the man's name who prayed is gone to glory. Now his name was Edgar Trout. I was in I was in his presence. In other words, I know the man very, very well. And that's what he prayed. God remove him. He didn't make any bones about just God. Remove him. And I'm not into that business. But I'll tell you something. I got enough faith to go in and retain a man's sin. And that frightens me that I never want to step over the border. I don't want my enemies today to be destroyed. I want them saved, forgiven, cleansed, delivered in the ministry going on with God. I won't have I won't have it any longer. And so I reached out to everyone that I've heard. And I've heard a lot of garbage. But it stops at me. Praise the Lord, because I don't believe God is giving up on anyone. The gifts and calling of God without repentance. Don't give up on your husband. Don't give up on your wife. Don't give up on your pastor, your your fellowship or anyone else. Hallelujah! Bring your mouth unto the Lordship of Jesus Christ. So when you start speaking and you know you're going too far, there's a check. There is someone that you have said you have permission to check me in. What I think, what I see, what I hear, what I hear and what I speak. I've given you permission and that's wonderful. Amen. You will be a different person because your mind won't be tormented. And you won't go through the things that so many people go through. Because let me say this before I go on to the other subject. What we put into our minds goes into our heart, through our emotions or through our response. I need to say that again. So you get it. You start thinking it up here, okay? Then you start to respond to it. emotionally. You start getting affected by what you're thinking. Your emotions are now upset. Okay. Your emotions are upset. So you bring it into your heart, and then your heart starts to condemn you. And you can't have faith towards God. That is vital. Okay, now let's continue in the Lordship of Jesus Christ. Is the Lord over our bodies? Army marching on. These questions the Lord asked me. I've got some good news for you. I've lost over half a stone, by the way, since I've come to New Zealand. Praise God! Is he Lord over our bodies? What do you mean? Over what we eat and how much we eat? Now let me say this again. We. We put a real damper on alcoholism, but we never, never mention gluttony, overeating, and the body of Christ suffers a great deal from it. Now, if he can't check what you eat or how much you eat. Then he's not Lord over your physical body. When the flesh takes over, then the devil will use your body then to drag you down spiritually and you'll start condemning yourself. You start hating yourself. Despising yourself. Is that not true? That's the truth. Is he Lord over our bodies, what we eat? And I believe he can be that. There can be a check when you. When you know you're going too far. When you're, you're all of a sudden you find yourself buying yourself chocolates because you're getting a little nervous and and so forth, and you're and you're getting all tied up and then you begin to eat. Now, just a moment. You just submit to his lordship. Just reach out to Jesus and have a lovely time of fellowship with him right at that moment. And the moment you do so, he then will take control over that appetite and you'll stop. At that point, you won't want to go on any further because your appetite is under the control of Jesus Christ. Now I'm saying this, that if you do this, your weight will come down to the weight that God wants you to have. That's where my weight is going. Down to the weight that God wants you to have will be balanced up. Amen. You'll listen to your body. You'll know what it means. You know what? It's missing. And God will teach you to listen to your body, to hear what's happening. You're under strain and stress. You don't rest. You don't. Because the Lord has no say. He can't say. You come aside for one for one day and fast and pray and wait on me and totally cut yourself off from the telephone, from your family, from your friends, from every other book, every other material except one book, the Bible. We can't do that fast. No, he doesn't get a word in there fast and pray because he's not Lord of our bodies. And if he's Lord of our bodies, then he's Lord of all that comes against our bodies. You are not entitled to be sick. If Jesus Christ is Lord and of your body, it's not a sin to be sick. You're not that spiritual if you're sick, but you're still not entitled to the sickness. It's a no no, as the Americans say. Why is that? Because it's his body, you see. He bought it with a price, and he's very, very particular. What he has in his body. You mean this body belongs to him? Yes. That's what the Bible says. You're bought with a price. Therefore, glorify God in your body and your spirit, which is not yours or his. You're bought with a price. You're bought with a price. Amen. He paid the price. That's his property. And if he wasn't in the body before Calvary, he doesn't want to be the sick one after Calvary. Oh, glory be to God. Amen. So what happens if I make him Lord of my body? You can command the sickness to leave in the name of Jesus. And does it have to go? Yes. It gets no option. Oh, praise the Lord! And what do I do then? Then you receive his help, and thank the Lord that you're living in his health. And then every time sickness attacks your body, you move deeper into his health. And, and and the Word of God comes out from that health and deals with the sickness. Because every word that God has spoken to you is for you, but it's against the devil. So when you believe the word is for you, it's life to all those that find it in Proverbs four twenty two and help to all their flesh. Isn't that nice? Amen. Lord of your body. Oh, glory be to God. Amen. That kidney that doesn't function correctly. He's Lord of it. Bring it under his lordship and say thank you, Lord. It's committed to serve my body in the original purpose of its creation. You created all kidneys to serve us. You created them for a certain function. And there they are. Absolutely. Um, they don't get any option. They've got a function in that, in that order that you committed, that you created them in. You've got hay fever and your nose is running and you've got problems and you've got sinus. Bring it into subjection to Jesus Christ. Your physical body and say, thank you, Lord. I bring it into subjection to your health. Now, Lord, my body is under your lordship. Therefore I declare unto you your lordship, and everything Jesus is Lord over is in in total success. And in other words, it's totally functioning in its original purpose. Amen. Amen. If he's lord over anything, it's working perfectly. So your body is working perfectly. Amen. If he's Lord over it. So start off with the food and what you eat and what you drink. And if anything, no matter what it is, if it's food that's controlling or drink, or you might be feel it's legitimate. Legitimate to have this and have that and all the rest. But if he doesn't get a say in the control of it, if he's not lord of it, then the devil will use everything to drag you down every single thing that you do. Amen. He'll use it, don't worry. He's out to destroy. And we are not ignorant of his devices, right? He's the Lord over our time. This is a hard one. Christians nearly going. Is he Lord? Over our time and make no apologize. Apologies tonight for time. Is he Lord over our time? Uh. What do you mean? How much we waste? But what is. How do I waste time? Well. Very simple. You get in your car in the morning and drive all the way to work without talking to Jesus. Is that wasting time? Yes it is. Why? Because your mouth is not occupied. Your spirit is not occupied. Your soul is not occupied. I mean, I can waste time by getting in my car and doing nothing. Exactly. But I'm driving to work. Yes. That's fine. What? Just your body. How about taking your spirit and your soul with you? Well, how do I do that? You begin to praise the Lord. Don't waste time. Let the praises of God be continually in your mouth. That's the greatest mouthwash the Christian has. And you won't be telling the driver in front of you what you think of him. And he's driving in his eyesight and everything else like that. If you do so, and by the time you get to work, you won't be a nervous wreck at the beginning of the day, because the way some people drive in this country. And so that's how to waste time. Yes. And also in between, when you're not waiting on the Lord, you're wasting time. When you have time to wait on him. You're wasting time when you're not reading your Bible. You see, how much time do you give to the word? How much time do you give to waiting on God? Uh, believe it or not, that's a waste of time. God does want you to go fishing. But why can't you go fishing with the Lord and have a wonderful time with Jesus? Amen. Every time you cast the the the rod out, say, praise the Lord. Hallelujah! Jesus is wonderful. He is Lord. And this is the line that I'm going to preach. Amen. And I believe that all the sinners will get hooked on this because it's no longer debatable. Alright, sorry. Well, he says, thy rod and thy staff, they comfort thee. Enough to make you real, isn't it? All right. You've done your groaning. I just want to keep some of you awake, that's all. All is. He is. Is he Lord of your time? Your prayer time? How much time do you give to him? Can he say to you, now, look, I want you to give me another ten minutes. No, you get ten minutes, Lord. That's all. Lord bless. Mother. Father. My wife and I. Us four and no more. You know, Lord, bless the children. Now don't start to bless me. Club up with God. That's all he can do is bless them. Reach out and deal with that which is against them. Deal with the powers of darkness. Deal with all the opposition so that you know that your children are going out there under the control and the protection of the Holy Ghost. Amen. You can deal with the opposition. You can reach out and begin to pray in other tongues. Building yourself up. You see, we don't listen. We don't wait on God. We don't hear what God has to say. We just tell him the program that we are going to carry out during the day, and we don't even ask him if it's his program. We're wasting time. So many of us, even housewives, find that they don't have enough time to wait on the Lord simply because they don't give him the time first, and then God will give him back the time. God wants you to have a holiday, but not from him. We waste so much time. We read all of the other junk and we don't read the word. Yes, brother. I. I didn't get time to read the word this morning, but I read the paper from cover to cover. And I'm sure that you're really blessed with all that bad news. You end up just the type to carry it. Let me say this. That's true. Let's have the good news first. Let's have the good news first. Let's find out God's program. I don't want to know about the devil's program, what he's doing in the world. I'm not really interested, though. I have to read the news. And though I have to follow up international events because I'm involved in them in prayer and also in members of government, and also I travel and I want to know what's happening. So I have to read some things and see some things. But I praise the Lord. I've already read the good news, so I'm interested in God's program. Amen. So if you don't give God time, he doesn't give you his program. You'll get your program. And when it falls or fails or collapses, you'll come back to God and say, Lord, clean me up. Help me out. Please forgive me. Oh dear Lord, help me out of this whole mess. I wouldn't have got into it in the first place if I'd asked you what you wanted me to do, Folks, there's lots of time that you have. There's time that you rob the the Holy Spirit of. I believe that and rob your wife of you talk to everyone else but your wife. Have you ever sat down and talked to her for a while? You may learn a whole lot of things. I mean, I've been learning a whole lot of things, but you may learn a whole lot of things. You have to learn to listen to each other, communicate with each other. And believe it or not, when God has control over your time there and control over your time everywhere else, and you won't be taking time from God because there'll always be someone to check you, you're taking too much time in that little hobby of yours. You are getting carried away and you can carry away. And the devil knows and you're losing interest in the word. You're losing interest in prayer. You're losing interest in meetings. And slowly the devil has wooed you away from the whole thing because no one has control over your time. If you bring your time under the Lordship of Jesus Christ, believe it or not, no hobby or sport or golf or whatever. I play a lot of tennis and I praise God because I like playing tennis, but again, I have to watch everything that I do. I don't go to playing tennis thinking, oh, I wonder whether I should stop serving now. Lord, is it time yet? No. But all of a sudden I lose my peace. I know it's time to quit. Mostly I lose my legs. They said we are tired of supporting you. And then I know it's no good arguing because I wouldn't have a leg to stand on, would I? All right. Is he Lord over our friends? Another thing. I'm nearly finished. Hold with me. Because this is going to change your life. Is he Lord over our friends? In other words, do we have friends that take us away from God and are come and. And also, do we have friends who bring us into things that we don't really need to be in? Do we have friends that rob us of our time with the Lord? And also rob us of our relationship with God? You can have very good, legitimate friends, but do you lean on them? Are you. Have you got the right friends? God is interested in checking you with the wrong friends so that, in other words, you don't have problems that you get as a result of having the wrong friends in your life, wondering what is wrong when they're sewing things in your life, or they're leaning on you, or you're leaning on them too much. Folks, it is good to have a check with the Lord. It is so good. God wants you to have friends. He does want you to have friends. He's not a killjoy. But when your friend is taking the place of God, that's it. That goes for animals as well. Now, I've never mentioned animals until now. I don't have a thing against animals. But after I put my foot in that dog's dirt the other day looking for that ball, I nearly did. I could have cheerfully laid hands on that dog. And believe you me, I'd have done it in love. I'd have loved to have done it. But I'm saying this. I've seen dogs destroy homes. I really have. I really mean that. And also, they're easy to be possessed of evil spirits. I'm not trying to frighten anybody. We've seen it actually happen. Cast out a spirit out of person and straight into the dog. And the dog then has become vicious. He may have. Some of you may have had that experience, a lovely, quiet dog all of a sudden becoming vicious. That could be the cause of it. And also the amount of money that you're spending. Just listen to the Lord and make sure that your children are not giving affection to an animal when they should be giving it to you, and you end up when I oh, this really put me off. One day when I was sitting in the home and the man came, the father of the house came home from work. He came straight in and he looked around. His wife was sitting there. He looked around, he looked around. And then his dog came running out, wagging his tail, jumped up in his arms and kissed his dog and walked past his wife. I didn't look at his wife and I didn't blame him. No, no, I did not do that. No, but you could see them. That dog. That dog was just taking the place of their relationship. They talked to the dog, you naughty dog. That meant she was talking to him. You naughty dog, you naughty dog. And she would tell the dog exactly what she thought of him. Which meant she was telling her husband exactly what she thought of him and come to mommy mummy and all the rest. Oh, I tell you something. Listen very carefully on this one, please. Because we spend more money on Bird Seed last year than we did on missionaries. I mean, it's got out of proportion. More seed bought and sown. And that's not God's way of doing things. And if you look in America, all the poodles and the amount of money that. Oh it's just. And they take dog and they turn it around and it's God. They turn the dog into God. And it's the same. Please. I'd love to see animals bought as if you're a Christian for the purpose of their function. If it's a dog, it's a watchdog, or he's taking care of things and so forth. And if it's a cat, then it's cleaning up the mice and everything else, and that's the job that they're doing. Let's not get caught up with the world giving animals all our affection. I have affection. My wife and I are naturalists by desire because we look at every animal and birds in particular. We love them, we love nature, and I love it in its natural habitat. But I don't like to see Christians giving all their affection and so much affection to the animal and not to the Lord, I believe. I go to countries like India and I see the dogs around and the animals and oh, it's cruel. It's so cruel, you know. It's so cruel. So just listen to the Lord on that one. I'm not a killjoy on it, but, um. Anyway. Like I said in my prayer, you what you pay for and feed a dog on today will keep a child alive in India every day. The same day you ask the Lord about it. I don't mean to put all your dogs and cats down. Please. I have somebody after me. I come back and all the cat lovers and dog lovers here are saying, I wish he had said that before the offering and he'd got nothing in it. Now the next subject, the next subject. And that's friends. The dog is my friend. Boy, goodness me, when I never mind. The dog is my friend right now. Now next subject is money. And this is a very delicate subject with Christians. Well, it's not with me, I have no diplomacy. Diplomacy at all on this subject. Because my income, my finance, is subject to the Lordship of Jesus Christ. He gets a say where my finance goes and all the rest. And I was in a situation one day when the Lord said to me, do you love your home? I said, oh yes, Lord, thank you very much for my home. And I really because I get everything from the Lord. So Christians can't complain. Yeah, even like this. Nice jacket. You like it? It wouldn't fit you, so forget it. And I said I. I've always wanted a jacket like this. I've always wanted. But I wait for everything. And then one day it was up for half price. Amen. You ask my wife, she gets nearly everything at half price. We wait for sales and things like that and go shopping with the Lord. Amen. It's lovely to have your finance under his control. You don't pay half as much as other people. It's absolutely fantastic. You want a roast? Amen. You go down. Oh, it's on the on the cheap this week. Praise God you, you can get two for one. Hallelujah! Amen. If you start believing like that, you'll believe the whole system is working for you. And I do. Hallelujah! If the Lord has control of the money and I say why I mean this. We would have half the magazines at the moment that are circulating out of commission altogether, buried, closed up, finished. And also the use of our finance would have half the mission mission stations closed up. And I believe some of them need to close up there back in the old realm. We need God to move out through his body now into a new dimension on the mission field altogether. I mean, I'd like to send some people home from Israel there, out there, because it's a romantic place and all the rest, but they're doing nothing. And one girl used to go out at midnight just praying around the Wailing Wall. And you could do that at home, you see. And somebody financing her. And I went to a country which I can't mention because it's too close. And I went to a country a little while back, and they had built this great building, an orphanage, and I didn't know what it was, first of all. And I asked the Christian leaders, I said, what's that building over there? Oh, that's, uh, built by this, uh, faith organization. They have, you know, reached out for a lot of money for that building, but why hasn't it got any doors or why isn't it finished or what's wrong with it? Well, they, you know, they found out after they built the orphanages that there's no orphanages, there's no orphans in this country. Oh, I won't say what country that is, but there's no orphans. A child is never left for two seconds, but another mother will pick it up. If anything happens to the parents, the child is taken care of straight away. There's no orphans. None at all. Well, did he ask the Lord? No. Their finance was not under the control of the Lordship of Jesus Christ. Somebody started off with a very good idea of starting orphanages all over the place. But somebody forgot to ask the Lord if he wanted one there. Come on. We're wasting a whole pile of God's money all over the place. We're building bigger places. And beware when people start building bigger places. Beware. Because I don't believe God is looking for more quantity. He's looking for quality. He's building his church. So anything that's going to big, it'll collapse sooner or later. Because there's no way he can keep going. Believe it or not. Amen, I believe that. I believe God wants everything in proportion, and a fellowship then is allowed to develop where everyone is allowed to minister. Otherwise, I've been in the church in the United States of America. I'm on a board of trustees that have to get rid of hundreds of thousands, and sometimes over a million dollars, and I'm consulted about whether or not they're going to buy a television station. And I listen to the Lord, and the Lord said, don't buy it, because the person who is influencing their buying it wants to control the the whole thing for the city, for his own church. He's not interested in the body of Christ at all. So I said, no, I, the Lord said, don't buy it. So they didn't buy it. They didn't spend a million dollars. So I'm on that board. But there's another another minister on the board, and he has a church of over ten thousand people in services on Sunday, and he has a staff of over three hundred to keep the church going. And you can't get to him. You got to go through four secretaries before you can get to him. And in other words, the whole I mean, he's turnover is a million dollars a week. It's just a big organization. I mean, it's lovely service that people are allowed to worship and all the rest. But praise God, it's lovely to have a building where people are allowed to worship. But you don't lead people in worship today. They're already in worship. Come on, that's true. And what are you giving the people today? Just a place where we can all meet together. You don't want to own the people, do you? If you're under the Lordship of Jesus Christ, all ministries are. And I believe that the meetings under the Lordship of Jesus Christ, all sorts of wonderful things start to develop. God wants to bring into the experience of each individual their ministry that is lying dormant now. Well, who's supposed to help in that? The apostle and the prophets and all the rest of them. They're supposed to bring your ministry out. That's why they're given. We have apostles, prophets and so forth, pastors, evangelists and teachers. What? For the perfecting of the saints. For the work of the ministry. There's no comma there in Ephesians chapter four. For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the work of ministry, for the perfecting of the saints, for the work of their ministry. And if I had enough time here, I would. I was already requesting that and desiring it, that I would have people here, that I could bring them out into their ministry, into the operation of the gifts under the supervision of the word of Knowledge and the Word of wisdom, which I've done in other countries, because in the last days, believe it or not, God is restoring to the body of Christ the gift of prophecy, not of comfort, saith the Lord unto thee. I love you, and I will never leave you. We've heard that we've heard it so long. Come on, we're no longer children. We want to go deeper. We want to hear the deep things of God. We want prophecy, prophecies that come out of the depth of the individual's relationship with God, whereby they found something in God. The Bible tells us in Romans twelve that we wait on our ministries. We seek God and what we find in God. God brings out in such a way that he lifts up the congregation and we call it being edified, edified, built up. And the last testimony of Jesus Christ will be the spirit of prophecy according to revelation. That's another subject. Nineteen verse ten Spirit of prophecy is the testimony of Jesus, the spirit of prophecy, and is coming back upon the church. Now the prophets needs to come forward, and the apostles and all the other ministries, but they won't. As long as somebody is controlling the whole, the whole, either the whole meeting or the control is under one person. If that person is not under the control of the Holy Spirit, that person under control of the Holy Spirit will bring out and encourage other people's ministries. Amen. It's true. You can't let the meeting go today, because there are a whole lot of people down here who are not under the control of the Holy Spirit, and they'll come out and do their own thing. Every time I, I let the meeting go in a particular denomination of church, it goes. And oh, we're off again. You know it's not. It's never right. It's never right. Just a repetitive tongue. And there's nobody correcting it. Nobody dealing with it. Well, if it happens in my meeting, I correct it. But I don't sit on the person and quench the spirit. So they never preach again. I just say, all right, dear sister or brother, you haven't got an assembly tongue. You haven't got it developed for public use. Okay. But you can now begin to prophesy. Just reach out in prophecy from now onwards, until that tongue is developed. And then bring it to your pastor or your elders. And when you speak in tongues before them, they will witness that this tongue is an assembly tongue. It's been developed, and then you've got their covering as you move out of that assembly. Okay. Amen. That's right. Come on. We're accepting far too much. Accepting a whole lot of things that are not right. We don't need to be entertained folks any longer. You're taking God seriously tonight. You're getting it right from the Lord. Believe you me, and so am I. When our money comes under the control of the Holy Spirit, God can say one million dollars. You can have what you want in this country, but at the moment, God can't get his hand into some people's pocket, and they wonder why they can't get their hand into his. If God's got his hand in your pocket, you've got your hand in his, and you can think big in God. I can believe for finance, for other people. I was in the meeting of young people, young ministers who were going to go out and reach out in God. And I remember the minister saying to me, Brother Greenwood, we need ten thousand dollars for our outreach and to cover the whole thing. We need ten thousand dollars and we've only got two offerings in. The first offering is just three thousand. Could you just reach out? And I've got a message directly from the Lord and the Lord. I don't know why he loves it, but the Lord really loves people to give. He really does. Amen. So I reached out and I received the message. And I received the offering. Do you know what it was they wanted? They wanted another seven thousand. They got seventy thousand dollars. Do you know what the Holy Spirit could get out of the body of Christ? A sufficient money where there wouldn't be one amongst us that lacked. I said, the Lord you want me to build. He said, there isn't time. So all my investment is in souls and people in the body of Christ, in a living building. Amen. Not in the North. I'm not. I'm not against anybody building. I'm just wondering if they know when the Lord's coming and see. Just. You haven't got the roof on and the Lord comes. At least nobody. Nobody gets raptured with a pain in the head. But you'll find in the days to come. You'll find in the days to come. And I'll warn you. Even in this country. In the days to come. And that's not too far away. Because I've held a child alive in this country. That Lord, the Lord told me, would be alive to see a child. I've held a child in my arms in this country that the Lord said would be alive to see my coming. And that was over six years ago, maybe a little more than that. And the child was five months of age, five months old and six years ago five months old. And the child. And that really shook me up because I said, the Lord, I'm going to tell no one this list that you have told me unless you confirm it. And then when I held the child in my arms to pray that night for the child in prayer of dedication, there was another, uh. It was the principle of the Bible school that vice principal or whoever or dean or whatever. This man stood up and prophesied without knowing anything and said, the child that you hold in your arms this night will be alive to see my coming confirmed it. And they dropped the child. But do you see? I'm saying there isn't much time. Now the church is going nowhere until it comes under the Lordship of Jesus Christ. We've had discipleship and and praise God. There's so many wonderful aspects of it and that have brought a controlling, ah, factor over the body of Christ that have blessed some people. Other people are a bit rebellious, didn't know they were rebellious, so somebody wanted their name and address, wanted to know if they were committed to this place or something else like that. Same in my church. I said, I just want your name and address and said, what do you want to control us? No no no no. I didn't ask for your fingerprints, just your name and address. And they said, well, what do you want it for? I want to know. We want to know as elders here who we're committed to, how can we give you the best service if we don't know who we're committed to? And if God requires your name written in the Lamb's Book of Life up there, I require it written down here. So I got it. But what I'm saying is this we've had different aspects of discipleship, and some of it has been really upset. Some people. I don't get upset when I hear anything new that's coming along. I just say, Sweet Jesus, I love people on this side or that's the other side. Do you know the moment that teaching came out, somebody called me from Australia and said, Brother Greenwood, which side are you on? I said, what do you mean, which side am I on? Well, which side are you on in this teaching? Because it's going to make a lot of difference whether I got back there or not. I said, I'm on nobody's side. I'm not going right down between. I'm going on in what God has shown me to go on in. I'm ministering what God has shown me to minister in the revelation of God. And I love the body of Christ on both sides. And as a matter of fact, I found myself ministering on both sides as I went along because I don't have any bee in my bonnet about anything. I just minister what God tells me. It doesn't make me very popular. But then again, I didn't seek to be popular in the first place, and I certainly have never made it anyway with a face like this. But what I'm saying is, don't get uptight when you hear, oh, brother Graham has gone into heresy. Well, I don't stay very long in heresy. I have a couple. Mind you, I don't normally preach them. But if you want to know some of my heresies, I'll tell you afterwards. But the point is, I'm only interested in that which really works. And that's what I cling to it. That's what I preach. If it works for me and it is effective in me, and it will work for anyone, and that's what I preach. So stay with it, folks. God will sort the rest of us out on the way through. So don't worry. I've never met anybody who is absolutely doctrinally correct. Have you no right? If he is Lord over our finances, Lord over your business, or do you do your business anyway? I mean, do you ask God, what should you buy? Or should you sell or what should you enlarge? In other words, is there anyone controlling your business? And can God say to you, stop before you go into bankruptcy? Can he say, stop? You're going in the wrong direction. Can when you're giving and God says, stop. Don't buy that. I know with me it's fantastic. I go along a rail of suits and when I get to a certain price, I get a check in my spirit. Uh, that's going too far. So I said to the Lord a long time ago, I said, Lord, you allow me to prosper or hold in the material realm that which I can hold for the glory of God, that which will not affect me, whereby people will not see what I possess, but they'll see you. And if they don't see the Lord, he said, if they don't see me, then see what you possess. Then what you possess is possessing you. And when no thing possesses you, you can possess all things. Amen. Amen. God is mighty. Having fifty houses. You're not richer than I am. We all have the same bank account. The same balance. True. He knows. Now, the last thing is the family. And this is the hardest thing for us. Is he Lord over our family? Now that's quite easy to see. First of all, from the husband's point of view, if he is under the Lordship of Jesus Christ, then his family is under the Lordship of Jesus Christ, or they're under his protection. And that means you can always tell if your husband is under the Lordship of Jesus Christ by the way he treats his family, by the way he treats his wife, by the way he treats his children, and by what he does with his family. And he shares with his family. He spends time with his family and he encourages his family. He prays with his family and he teaches his family, and he ministers to his family because that's where pastors are born at home. And if you can't, if you can't bring your own natural family under the control of the Holy Spirit and into the blessing of God and minister to them, then how can you possibly deal with God's family? That's your testimony. And if you want to know my testimony, you go home and see my children. There are testimony my wife and I, my wife and I are our testimony that's in our children. They are at home and they are right with the Lord, and they're going on with the Lord. They're not, you know, they're not, um, gone over the top into dope or anything else like that. They haven't been through the world at all. Praise God, and we're so grateful to the Lord. Bless the Lord. So if the Lord then is lording it over your family, then your family is really blessed taking care of, loved and and at any moment you know exactly when to speak to your son or your daughter. You know exactly when to love them and hold them. You know exactly when to share with them, to listen to them. You're aware that your family will be treated totally different when Jesus Christ is Lord over your family, and then out from the husband's ministry will come something that will really bless the family and build them up and encourage them and protect them. Amen. And then the wife submits to her husband. The husband loves his wife and it's lovely to submit to love. Ladies, isn't it? Your husband loves you. It's wonderful to submit to love. I'm going to leave you with that. So I'm going to ask you the question again. Is there anything at this moment that is not under the Lordship of Jesus Christ? The other question have you allowed anything to slip from underneath His lordship? Is there anyone to check you when you're alone in the things that you do? Have you given him permission? Have you made him Lord, and said, Lord, I want you to be Lord over what I spend. Amen. Over what I eat, Lord, over what I drink, Lord, over what I say. Lord, what I hear. Lord, what I sing. Lord, I'm not going to. Just each time I'm going to eat or do something, say, Lord, you know, just check me. No, I'm going to be in a relationship with you whereby I'm in contact with you. In such a close relationship, I'll feel it straight away. It's wrong. And I know you only check me because you do not want me to be destroyed by anything, okay? God wants to protect his property. And let me say this. You know a lady coming to one of my meetings in Phoenix, Arizona, she came and she was praising the Lord. She had a lovely time with Jesus. On the way she came to a stoplight was red and she stopped in some cases in an unusual experience for some people. I'd been driving with nobody in particular, but I was in another part of the country, and the guy, just every time he saw the orange color, he just found it appealing. And orange is appealing. He just went right through it. But anyway, she stopped there. And instead of just, you know, just getting worried and all tied up, she began praising the Lord. Had a lovely time with Jesus, and when she put her foot down on the accelerator to go when it turned green, the Lord said, stop! And she stopped it, and the car went past. A couple of seconds later, she'd have been right out in the middle of the road, and there's no way she could avoid it. She'd been cut in two by some crazy guy who had gone out of his. Blown his mind with some dope or something. He went past about seventy miles an hour trying to beat the lights. Let me say this a lot of Christians today die prematurely. They die because their bodies are not under the lordship of Jesus Christ. They don't listen and their heart is wonky. You see, they don't bother about it. They've got such a good spiritual life. But you bring your body under the Lordship of Jesus Christ. And to do that, you've got to bring your body into health, his health. Amen. You believe you're in health. You don't get your health from your body. Now you give it to your body by believing you're in his health. Amen. It's not your body that tells you you're healthy. You tell your body. Your health comes from the spiritual realm, not from the natural realm. Your whole life comes from the spiritual realm, from the wholeness that you were born again into. And if you believe that, then the Lord Jesus Christ can take over your life, and you'll find you'll have more liberty than you've ever had before, and you're not all the time getting delivered from that excess that you've allowed yourself to get into, whether it's doing your own thing or what you're eating, drinking, or what you're seeing or what you're reading or anything else like that. Folks, he's not a killjoy, but he wants total control. He wants the preeminence. Not a prominent place in your life, the preeminence. He wants total control over your life. And I'm going to pray for those tonight who are going to submit to that control. and you are going to face it from the moment you leave this meeting. You may find that you get outside. You'll have to have patience. You'll have to move into Grace, where before he had no control over your emotions at all. You could just let fly at anytime you want it with your mouth. Ah, yeah, well, you're not allowed to do that any longer now, folks. And I'll tell you something. You'll be so changed in one week. If he has that control that you will love yourself instead of hating yourself. And your family will love you as well. God wants to change us. He can't change us if he's not in control of us. Let's give him back to control that we've allowed to slip from underneath His lordship, Jesus Christ. We've accepted him as a Savior, but we make him Lord in every situation. And those, believe it or not, those that make him Lord will be following. I've just written something down. I can find it. Let me just read it to you as Savior. We come to to him when we are in need. As Lord, we follow him wherever he leads. As Savior, we come to him in need. But as Lord, we follow him wherever he leads. When he is Lord, we are free to minister to others that have other things lording it over them. We are advertising. We are free by being free, and the only way to be free is to be submitted to His lordship. Then you are bound to Jesus and then you're bound to be free. Let's pray together right now. Now, I knew this message would be very long. But don't worry, folks, if you come here sick tonight, your body in a few moments is going to come under the Lordship of Jesus Christ. And your sickness is going to leave. I didn't say it might, but it's going to. Hallelujah. Now, first, let me deal. I'm going to pray one prayer for everyone here that has heard God speak tonight for whatever area God had spoken to him. And you know, you've let that area slip from underneath. His lordship might be your time with him. It may be your friend or whatever you're doing. I'd like you just to think very careful. I don't want you to come under any condemnation and be very careful. Because when you stand now, not alone, is your life going to be changed, but all your friends around you and your fellowship in turn and in turn, the country. That's what God said. He said, once I have control of my body, then I'm going to use them as an instrument in my hand to bring everyone to their knees in conviction. God is not interested in judging anyone. God's interest in conviction so they get converted, not judged by the Spirit of God is here. Now, if God has spoken to you in any area where you have not, um, brought that area under the Lordship of Jesus Christ, or you've allowed it to slip and you'd like to bring it back under the Lordship of Jesus Christ tonight. If you don't belong to Jesus, if you, if you've never come to him in your life, has just run any old way, the way you want it, and you're wasting your time and you're wasting your life, and one day you'll have to face him and give an account for it. Every husband will have to give an account for the condition of their home and the condition of their family. They'll be held responsible because they must come under the Lordship of Jesus Christ. The husband is the head of the house, not the Lord. The Lord is the husband's head, but the husband is the head of the house. Amen. As the ministry him and him to cover everything in that home that is in need. But I'd like you to stand now and be very careful when you stand that you really mean it. Because the Spirit of God is here to take you up on this challenge. He is Lord of your finance. You're not worried about finance. You can tell what he's not Lord of. If he's Lord of your body, you're worried about your health. If he's not Lord of your life, you're worried about the consequences. What's going to happen? You're worried if he's not lord of your business, you're worried about your business. Everything that you're worried about, he's not Lord of. You never have to worry. Anything that is under Jesus control, I can assure you. But you've got to put it under there. You've got to make him, Lord, deliberately. There's an area in your life you may be very free, and you can do just what you want to do. You can watch what you want to do and all the rest. But not from this night. Not from this night. I remember when I was a young Christian, as we're standing, I remember when I was a young Christian, uh, I was looking I was only a couple of weeks old. As a Christian. I was looking at a television program on board HMS Ark Royal. I was in the Navy for nine and a half years. I got a face like this, and, um, this guy said to me, hey, Harry, should you be watching a program like this? And I looked again and I said, you're right. I should not be watching a program like this. Thank you very much. The guy was hoping to get me mad, you know, he didn't. And I was reading a book one day and he said, hey, Harry, do you think you should be reading a book like that or you already know your Bible so well that you can know you're right. I don't know my Bible well, and I shouldn't be reading that book in the first place. Thank you very much, I appreciate that. And now everybody got mad with me because every time they corrected me, I accepted it. Now, this is very, very serious for your life. You must not allow yourself to get away from the experience of God's presence. Never allow yourself, not even an hour, so that the Lord can check you in everything. Your whole life will will change for you to remain underneath the Lordship of Jesus Christ. That means you must remain in a place with Jesus where he can influence you and check you in the things that you do, so that you can freely do everything that you see to do, knowing there's someone who will check you. And if he doesn't check you, it's okay with Jesus, but make sure your life is right. Or if your life is not right, then nothing's okay. You'll get no check. Believe you me, I'm standing again myself also because I want to go on. And what I've heard tonight, I know I'm going to face the issues again. And with my wife. And together we're moving on as a family as well. Folks, we want to. Because there's so much God wants to do, but he can't do it with the people that are not committed to his lordship, that Jesus Christ may be Lord, to the glory of God. Let's pray right now. Lord Jesus, I acknowledge that your Lord of this meeting tonight. Oh, Hallelujah. Now, Lord, as each person submits to you, as the Holy Spirit reveals each area of each person's life that they've allowed to slip from underneath Your lordship. I ask you now, Lord, as each person comes to you, that you will forgive. Lord, as they truly repent of everything that they moved into in excess. The criticism that they've allowed their mouths to speak out against their brother and the sister against your work. Oh, father, just forgive them now, Lord, and the things that they've allowed themselves to hear. And they were glad to hear anything anyway about those people or things. Please forgive them, father. Please, Lord, that their ears now, Lord, may only hear those things that are right in their mouths. Only speak those things that are edifying and encouraging and building up, Lord, and for their eyes to only see those things, not to see the the wrong in our in the brother or sister, but to see that which is right and Lord, and not to see the things that the world would have them see, or the devil through the world would drag them down in. But to be totally free, I pray you'll bring each person's mind under your control. Now that so many people who have problems with their mind, bringing every thought now into subjection to Christ, and as they do so, Lord, then they'll have your thoughts in their minds and your thoughts are pure. Lord, your word has a washing effect. We're watered by. We're cleansed by the washing of the watering of the word. Lord, we just thank you now for this cleansing in the minds, Lord, and in the hearts of your dear ones here, and the emotions that they brought under, and the desires, Lord of their bodies to the physical appetites, the food and their sexual appetites, and anything else that has got out from under your control, Lord, that would move into the area of perversion or any other area, that everything comes back into your control, Lord, and that things are moving into obesity. Whatever, Lord, they come back into your control and what people eat and drink, that you're now in control again, Lord. Oh, father, we just thank you in your precious love right now that what people now, Lord. Eat and drink is under your control. Their bodies are now Lord. And they'll be free in a few moments. Lord, we'll be praying for the sickness to leave. But until then, we believe their bodies are free now. Lord, they're free. Lord, to lose the weight. To gain the weight that is necessary to come up to the balance, Lord, as they are checked by you and what they eat, Lord, and the control by you, Lord, how much they eat. Father, we just thank you in your precious name right now, and we thank you for the control, Lord, that now the people have given back will never ask you what they should give before, but don't try to the place where they worship Lord, or don't give to you Lord, as they bring the finance back under your control again under the Lordship of Jesus Christ. Father, we say, pray that you'll set prosperity free in their business, in their work and wherever. Lord, in Jesus name, we thank you Lord for doing it Lord, and every involvement of Christian work. Lord, that has got out of hand. Lord, that is a routine. Lord, I pray right now if they bring it back under your lordship again, as leaders of every fellowship bring their fellowship back under your lordship again. And as they're controlled by the Holy Spirit, they can give over control, Lord, to you in the meeting as well, to allow you to move through that meeting, Lord, as each individual is submitted to the Lordship of Jesus Christ. Every spirit of the prophet will be subject to the prophet. Oh father, we want divine order, Lord, not just control, Lord by by people, but divine order. So there will no control will be necessary, Lord, because we're all under control of the Holy Spirit. And when a person is not, we know it so we can deal with the situation. Father, I pray this and what everything that comes into my heart now, Lord, I pray that it will come to pass, Lord, in the lives of every dear one. The family is now under your control. Lord will be so affected now under the Lordship of Jesus. What you say to your family, how you treat your family, what you do in your family, what you do to your family. Oh, father and mother and father as they begin to listen to you, Lord, and allow you to be Lord over them in their family and their family, Lord law will come into that order that you designed for them. And Lord, they'll be blessed in doing so. Lord, we thank you. Now, Lord, we believe that what we hear is under your control. What we see, what we say, Lord, oh what we think. Lord, our minds are under your control now. Lord. Thank you, Lord Jesus. And we thank you for cleansing us from everything that we had in our mind before we came to this meeting and everything we had in our hearts. And for those that didn't know you, Lord, we thank you for your cleansing blood and your forgiveness, that their lives are under your lordship right now, and I receive them, Lord, controlled by you from this day. The life belong to you in your precious name. Lord. Thank you, Lord Jesus. I receive everyone that is standing up now for whatever you have shown them, Lord, that has slipped from underneath your control or lordship. It's now back again in the name of Jesus. We're going to sing together. Lord. Yes, Lord. He is risen from the dead. Amen. Oh! Hallelujah, Lord. Amen. Bring that up. Every time on earth that Jesus the Christ is Lord. Let's raise our hands now. And let's.
