We like to talk about cannabis of course whether you are a vet newbie or just curious we got you covered and we'll get into some lifestyle and entrepreneurship as well. Now we have our regular co-host here today Miss Dracia Lake Glacier how are you doing this how you doing today? I'm not even gonna put a time stamp on what time of day. I'm good. I'm glad to be back. Yeah last time I was here I had on two coats but as you can see Las Vegas has actually gotten its springtime. Yeah finally hitting the spring feels great. Yeah well we actually celebrate in episode 14. Four represents the meaning of new beginnings and positive change. It is a special compound a number made of two individual numbers one and four each with its own unique symbolism energy and potential meanings. With 14 you may experience cycles of both good times and bad. It's associated with angelic realm with the angelic realm. If you want to use the number 14 to manifest your desires start by meditating with this number. So in the spirit of the number 14 I don't want you to give away things that you're trying to manifest recently? I will say that self-growth is something I've been able to manifest. You know we're all living our journeys and experiences and I pretty much put it out there intentionally that I wanted to be able to show up in a different way, in a way that's a bit more bold, a bit more go forwardness and I feel like I've manifested that. I've been on the roll this week. That's actually that's beautiful. I love that. I love that. And it's like, once you do get on a roll and you feel like the productive wheel rolling, it's like, yeah, it's like you just did a really good workout. I wonder if it's like springtime or you know that this is the real new back in January I was like yeah but now I'm like let me capitalize off of this springtime energy and this Aries energy you know beginning of the you know actual year whatever so absolutely I've been feeling all of that stuff yeah well I mean mine is a I won't call the shadow is what I wanted so I wanted to take a trip I wanted to get away and I wanted to do it fast and I was like okay God you lined up I'm packing up and it's lined up and your girl is packed so I am going out of here going on a cruise I get to unplug I did not even get the Wi-Fi package that's how unavailable I'm getting ready to be I like that yes yeah go girl yes I'm excited about that so so yeah so number 14 episode, of course, I got to give a thanks to our sponsors, the Business Entertainment West. They are in the business of providing entertainment on the West Coast. You can find them on Instagram at bizentwest underscore Vegas and tell them thank you for bringing NGT to the airwaves. Now I know the last episode I you know I bombarded you guys with different bills and things to be mindful of because we are trying what the whole legislative thing is going on and they're trying to pick up and see which bills they want to push push which bills are going to die. So I do want to remind you guys of bill AB 253. That is the portable vendor license is extremely important. It's easier way to get into the industry you do not have to the barriers are lower you don't have to have the you know the quarter million dollars you don't have to have a brick and mortar you'll be able to be a mobile vendor and be able to sell weed on site and that is yeah that's game-changing that's yes I need everybody to write your letters and do everything if you're watching the video I will provide the emails and everything that's needed to to do that because I mean I'm advocating not only for equal opportunity for my people but I'm also advocating for myself. This is one of the deals that I feel connected to that makes sense for me to come into it. The lounges really didn't it didn't make sense for me because I know I don't have a quarter million on tap and I don't want to have to deal with other people and what they want you know I'm saying just too many too many hands in that bucket but this one NGT guy can just do me. Yes, I love that one. So that's it bill a b 253 Now it's other lighter things because y'all know we like to have a little girl chat So actually on Twitter They've been sounding off saying what men should do for women tasks men that do for men women that are top-tier So one of them was pumping gas and I am here for that because I'm I'm 30 miles empty right now. You and me both, sis. And there's just something about it. I don't want to. I don't. Just for me, taking out the trash.
0:05:26
Yep.
0:05:27
Because our damn show was pushing down that plate at the top. It's like it's time.
0:05:35
Yeah.
0:05:36
The whole trash can is kind of bulging on the side everything pushed down it gets a little wider yeah girl yeah I'm yeah I'm that person like I think like okay who's coming over my like even like my guy just platonic regular friends like okay like if they're coming through like okay I'm gonna save this because on your way out I can't let it stop right please yeah right there yes uh twitter sounded off they said to of course like maintenance on the oil change and the tires that's love to me take my car get it oil changed get it washed getting brake sticks oh yeah it's maintenance it's maintenance so i'm there for that i would we go places. Oh yeah. I just love to be Miss Daisy. Yeah, I'm a passenger princess. Yes. Please. I'm gonna be pretty. I'm gonna dance to the music. I like this song. Yeah. Yes. Yeah. Let me think what else is there. Oh you hit it right there. I love being a passenger princess. I love it. And I think most guys like they recognize that. Either they recognize it or they're terrified of our driving I don't know I don't really care I'll take it either way either way do guys still lean they see all the way back like they used to do in the early 2000s you get in the car and you almost spring of vertebrae because you didn't realize that the seat was laying back all the way back they still do that mm-hmm okay yeah I wouldn't know I'm a princess on the passenger side.
0:07:13
Yeah.
0:07:14
I'm trying to tell you. Let's see, another one they were saying is, well, I don't mind this one, but grilling. Okay. I can get with that. Yeah, you go on the grill and I'll do the potato salad or something. That's kind of how me and my honey do it. I do the foods inside that are inside. And then when it's grill season, he's on the grill. I prep everything and it's a teamwork, dreamwork type of thing to be honest you know because grilling is indoor outdoor activity for real. It's a sweaty mess. Yeah you're right yeah you smell like charcoal for the day thank you baby. Do you have anything else that you feel top tier things guys do? Top tier is raise their children for me. Oh yeah well yeah yeah put that at the top of the list. I don't have kids but in the dating world, I dated a guy and he didn't know where his kids were or where they went to school. You know, he he get them every whenever time and he's just a lay down parent. I'm not that person. I don't want you to hate your kids mom No, y'all need to be working effectively because y'all releasing a human out here That's gonna be a part of society and I don't want to have to beat them up at some point It's already crazy enough so so yeah, so that that was a good one. Do you have any more if it's top tier to you? Because this is Sativa Talk Podcast, I would say rolling up. And rolling up in papers. That's very crucial for my taste because I like it. Not the white papers. I can't stand it. It's too harsh. I like the hemp papers. So that's the top tier to me. I also would say booking trips is also top tier for me as well. Just to know that we're going somewhere. Yeah baby, you free this weekend? I might be. Yeah. Let me check my calendar. I need to cancel this four o'clock. I'm trying to tell you I'm moving it. It's gotta go. Yeah. Yeah. Mm-hmm. Yeah Those are my things. Okay. Yeah, there's that I like that So I'm gonna chop this up and post that because you guys need to know what we like what wins us over I just want to give an honorable mention that you know Someone that's truly interested in you How they go above and beyond. I mean, you ever have somebody just do it all? You just say, hey I need help with this one thing and then they come over and they do everything? Do all the things. I ended up in the kitchen. Maybe that's one of the things top tier is initiative. That I don't want to like, you know, men and women are always having the conversation on who's leading and da da da da. And then you some men will say women don't want to follow me into that and it's like but you're not necessarily taking Initiative to be a leader and that doesn't necessarily mean to lead me but just to leave things Yeah, things are happening or need to be done Did can I count on it that you already did it or that you already thought about doing it? and maybe I'm talking about more like season relationships, you know, but yeah, I just want to see that you have initiative that you conversation another top tier thing. Can we converse? When I hang up the phone? Am I cheesing like ugly cheesing and my phone?
0:11:00
Like this?
0:11:00
You know, did I hang up with you and immediately call my bestie right on FaceTime? time with the same face. That's how we know. Yeah, here. Yeah. I like that. Make me feel good. Just talking about it. Okay. Now I'm gonna switch gears a little bit. I don't feel that good about this. But it's very disturbing. And I felt the need that it needs to be addressed. So the whole situation with the Dalai Lama, when the video, it was captured on video that he was, I guess he was blessing the young boy. And first it was a kiss on the cheek. And then it was a something else. And then it was suck his tongue, right. So I was looking up, okay, what exactly is the role of the Dalai Lama? I'm excuse me for my ignorance. I'd heard of it, but didn't know exactly what, who is this person and why, how did we get here? So the Dalai Lama is the highest spiritual leader in the head of the country of Tibet since 1940. So this is someone with extreme power. Is this the same Dalai Lama from 1940? Or they're because now you become the Dalai Lama is multiple. This is the 14th. Okay, kind of like the Pope. Yeah, Pope for Europe is the Dalai Lama. Mm hmm. Gotcha. Yes. And so, so the something that was even more disturbing is the the comments in the background of the video. So it was a man that was recording and when he did this second on the guy Sunday was like, Oh, no, like, they were impressed as if the little boy did a backflip or something. Whoa. Yeah. So why is it that it seems to be the pattern across religious organizations that the leaders are creeps, you know, are, can I say that word?
0:13:02
Yes.
0:13:03
Okay.
0:13:04
Okay.
0:13:05
Our pervs. Okay. And it's like, is this a power thing? Is this a like, what is it? Because you're literally praying on children I saw that Dalai Lama thing come across my feet and I didn't finish watching it because I just couldn't pull myself to see I'm like okay I saw I saw what it said it was disturbing absolutely not and then I actually read that his he apologized but he said something about it was a joke or something he jokes around when I'm like don't joke with nobody kids like that don't know we know anyone like that but we know it wasn't a joke we know that we I mean whoever saw it saw it but that's just it's not it it's not and it also just highlights you know the need to kind of be a little bit more thorough on the people that we call spiritual leaders. I think a lot of times, you know, they kind of prey on people who are down and out and who are low. And this is not necessarily the Dalai Lama. This is just the general Yeah, situation. But I understand there is a human aspect to it. No one is perfect, and they're not going to be that's the fact how ever, it's still important to do your due diligence and do your job of research on the actual person you need to be around this person you need to be aware you need to see how they live walk talk and breathe before you come under their umbrella of whatever spiritual path that they're trying to bring you in and teach you because you can be blinded by some of the things that they do. A prime example this video how is it that this is a room full of other adults? Let me say this. Everyone is like, okay, and it's triggering me. Um, so I was literally just having a conversation with my best friend this morning and we were talking about who's not job, my best friend Ebony. Okay. Every time I talked to her, I was talking to job, I'm talking to job and talking to Ebony is somebody so I'm talking to you. So, um, we were just going through through my mom and I had some conversations about church stuff and Easter and I was expressing how I never really liked Easter Sunday because I used to get bullied by the kids that never came to church and I grew up in church so these kids would come to church they don't come to church all year long I'm glad because they were mean to me but then when they get there you know they really mean to me but then I realized where in my mind did I just you know allow I guess that experience to kind of follow me of like, okay, when people are not kind, I just kind of take it, let it go, right. And then I went back, y'all, y'all about to be all in my business, but it is what it is, because my journey is my journey. My Sunday school teacher was abusive, AF, right. And the entire time, the church around was very much, whether they knew that he was necessarily physically abusive, but maybe they didn't even recognize that he was emotionally or yeah, emotionally abusive or verbally abusive. Like, I guess when you're in that space, and you're all learning it the same way. Like you learn all of the things, that your practice teaches you. And if I look at just black religion, I don't say black doesn't have religion, y'all know what I mean. But black Christianity from my experience, I've seen the way that it goes from this vengeful punishment type of mentality. And that punishment mentality had been passed on to my mom and her siblings and my Abusive a Guy that used to teach us so that type of what I'm saying is in that environment When you're used to things happening a certain way, you don't necessarily even know that it's wrong You think that that's totally fine. It's totally normal that that's occurring. Sure. He put that little boy's tongue mouth around his tongue oh yeah we do that like that happened to me people don't necessarily know that this is not okay and then it really takes people like us to step on their toes and say actually that's not okay and let me tell you why it's not okay yeah yeah I think that's the only reason why the apology video came out mm-hmm because when he did it when you had a little boy do it to action you were laughing and you were enjoying yourself you weren't upset yeah you didn't feel you there was no shame mm-hmm so I think it's just what what your mom you say you ain't sorry you did it you sorry you got caught that's the fact and the world is now looking like well what y'all gonna do about it I got the Dalai Lama quotes in my one of the ancients. Hopefully he wasn't sucking tongues either. I'm trying to tell you. When did it start? When did it start? So I mean not to get all up in they business, but I was just disturbed. I know we in the US got oodles and doodles of issues and problems. That's a fact. And so speaking of one of them, the whole AI situation. I know that one of the music industry companies... Practice marketing. What are we talking about? AI. For y'all to hear, she said Allen Iverson. Oh, we're talking about artificial intelligence? Yes ma'am. But I loved, you know, because a couple times, VA, stand up. That's Allen Iverson. Oh, we know. All the stars. Remember, I know he used to have the braids. Absolutely. They were so tight. The fishbones. Yeah. But we called them, we called them Iversons. The Iversons, yeah. Yeah. That's what they, they was, they were out there. He changed the game. Yeah. Of basketball to go into this whole hip-hop thing. We're not talking about Iverson right now. What were you saying about the Artificials? Fine. But, um, I'll tell you a story later. Go on. There's a lawsuit, I think it's UMG, the music group. They are suing because people are now using artists their voices on on songs and all that stuff right and so it's like who owns that? Right you know it's like I don't know if that's already listed in the contract when the when the artists sign these contracts with the music company but I mean unless you had foresight how would you even know somebody has access to use your voice? I think it can be kind of tricky especially with artists is dealing with some complicated In just like deals if they somebody released a song with his voice on it. He can just say it was a I didn't do it Right, you know, it's interesting My honey and I were just talking about this yesterday he was saying something about Web he didn't know the terms. I don't know the terms either It was something he was listening to on Sway in the Morning or something, I don't know. But basically, they're creating a, some other type of way to be able to track what's yours and what you own across the internet. So just like you're saying, if this is, I create this song, right? And I get a million dollar deal from it. Get you more than a million dollars, baby. But you get a million dollar deal and then later on somebody they sell it to somebody else for a hundred million dollars They would get that hundred million dollars, but you wouldn't be entitled to that So this thing where it kind of follows your IP address across or something So it's able to track your original stuff to that So I feel like just as much as problems like that are happening Solutions are also being created simultaneously to stop that as well. Hopefully so. I think it's kind of creepy to have access to someone's voice and you know, and even when it's going to the legal system, like, okay, well, when do we draw the line when our voicemails no longer valid in court? When are you know, saying those type of things no longer useful because the whole AI intelligence situation. So and then also, you know, even now when people do like mashups of music they feel entitled for recognition. I can't stand these kids. First of all you messing up the song Jake. For real. Little John John. Y'all messing the songs up. Mixed up B.I.B.A. and Beyonce. With little Kelly Clarkson on the end. Like come on. I don't know some of them do sound kind of a baby yeah so that's something to definitely look out for at first I was like oh I'm not gonna I'm not gonna indulge in the whole AI situation but now it's like this is happening so I need to yeah I gotta get on it. I gotta research. I gotta do what I gotta do to know what I need to know. That chat GPT is fire. Yeah, so actually I think I might on the show I may go through because I saw an article that was talking about jobs that AI won't necessarily take over first or something along those lines that kind of works along with it. So I'll take, I'll do the, I'll do it. I really want to live on a farm. Let me retract. Yeah, please.
0:22:27
Homestead, right?
0:22:28
That has technology. Can we go back to like being country kids?
0:22:34
I'm from the country.
0:22:35
Go back from being country kids, but merge that with technology? Does it have to be this or that? Does it have to be these two extremes? And I think that a lot of times when people are looking at the way that technology is going it does get very scary. We all saw Will Smith's movie, I, Robot, right? We all saw it, right? But if I had a robot that washed my dishes, they are invited over. I'm sorry. So can we merge these worlds and create this space where maybe the jobs that people don't really want to do do get to get taken over by that and people that do those jobs maybe they get to live their passion or do something they really want to do instead of feeling like they have to be stuck into this position or whatever. I don't know that theory makes me think of a Black Mirror. Oh Black Mirror is crazy. The episode where they had to like be on the bikes to earn points and they had to like elevate themselves on social media in order to be worth something. Lord please like and share this video share this radio show. I know we are almost out of time but I do want to talk about this as well the whole situation with Candace Owens so again homegirls under fire. She made a comment about Lizzo she's beautiful and that men don't do that. A man would never lie to another man and say that you look nice if you're um what's the politically correct word overweight or heavyset big bone. My grandma used to call me solid. She used to pat my thigh, like you getting solid. All people are desperate. That's my grand... Since they just take one glance at you and they just know like, oh you been eating cookies at the cookie shop. She was saying like that thing on thing when you get older baby. I know. But yeah, so she goes out and speaks on that publicly and I think that definitely out of line.
0:24:49
Definitely.
0:24:50
Now I don't agree with maybe 80 to 85 percent of the things that Candace Owens says but sometimes if she says something I'm like okay girl I can see where you were going with that but for this one speak for yourself mm-hmm I think Lizzo's beautiful. Agreed. I don't not my favorite artist but I love her confidence I love her she is beautiful herself as a person she's beautiful and she's obviously got a really pretty heart because her recent song that song with SZA I rock with that. I don't know what it's about. I love all of the songs. In a minute, in a minute. You know and maybe it's actually related to like that one song she was screaming on one song. I was like I can't listen to it. But regardless of what we may think about her music or her artistry or whatever that was definitely mean girl. Yeah, it was like a hater. Like, oh, what? You? Is it a slow news week or what? What was your point of trying to put her down? Because she had no yeah, that Nene meme like now why am I in it?
0:25:52
I'm with you.
0:25:53
Why did why did you feel the need to come after Lizzo? Like Yeah, just it's a simple unfollow and then you're done. You don't have to see it again. Or if you do just keep scrolling so I don't know just be mindful of the people around people you don't even know will be hating on you I'm just saying it's weird I will also say what she said about men and what men would say or do when first off men aren't usually I mean I'll say the men do I mean men that I know compliment each other we're getting into their getting getting understanding that I don't have to, I can compliment my homie, my friend, my brother without even being a side compliment. You know, like, you know, and there are men that will just dog each other out too, but it's just, I don't think that she needed to, A, she didn't need to say that at all about Lizzo, and B, there was no need to compare. Yeah, it's apples and oranges. A lot of men, some women, they confide in their friends for those types of things and it's a-okay. Some men don't and they keep it to themselves and so it sometimes that love language is roasting each other like it's it's right complicated but it's none of your business all both times so yeah there's that on Candace Owen girl just get it together we'll find something else to talk about let's talk about the Dalai Lama um so before we get out of here girl you got social media and thank you one on shout out um you can find me at official underscore drayshire um and she's been acting on tiktok y'all i've been doing i did a little something you did a couple songs i did yeah i was scrolling i was like oh another one oh another one also find me on tiktok at official drayshire i told you i we talked about manifestation sometimes manifesting is outside of us but in many ways it's internal and i don't know what this eclipse season is going on, but your girl is back. I love it. Love to see it. Thank you again to the Business Entertainment West for the sponsorship. If anyone would like a mention or sponsorship, you can reach me at ngt.onair at gmail.com.
