talk shit in the chats,
in your text strings,
and your team won and his team lost,
yet he still is trying to talk smack?
Really?
From the gym to the screen, yeah,
we cover it all.
Midday motivation every time you press
call.
Lunch with the Clydesdale.
Cowboy bring the heat.
Crossfit, boobies, music on repeat.
Half hour hustle, yeah,
we building that brand.
Grab a plate, tune in now,
you part of the fam.
It's lunchtime.
That was an allergy-filled pregame
pump-up.
And if you were here for the opening,
my co-host did a wardrobe change right
before we went live.
Real quick one.
Real quick one.
I'll just call you Cher.
Mostly, yeah.
I'm basically the queen of fast-changing.
oh i have uh i didn't get a
chance to do anything but this mop that
i'm fixing to get cut either tomorrow
wednesday so and like my hat i kept
looking i was like my hat's right over
there my hat's right over there my hat's
right over there you gotta be fast man
then i hit the open and all of
a sudden i have a blank screen in
front of everyone okay maybe i am going
solo today
What you guys don't know is Scott just
texted me and Vic like three minutes ago.
I was like,
is any of y'all coming on?
Because I was on a work call trying
to get off.
Vicky was doing God only knows what,
trying to get off.
I'm assuming it's something work-related,
more than likely, if I had to guess.
And we were both like, yeah,
we're on the way.
Relax.
You know,
I know I talk a lot on this
show about hating my job,
but at least I don't have Vicky's job.
Whoa.
Yeah.
Like, I thought mine was bad,
and then I got to know Vicky,
and now I'm like, thank God.
Maybe I should just appreciate what I
have.
Hey, bro.
Sometimes you got to go, you know what?
It's not that bad.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I wanted to get my hair cut before
I left for Montana on Wednesday,
but I'm kind of running out of time.
Yeah, I would say so.
Today's Monday.
Since I have to work a full day
today and work a full day tomorrow,
the windows in which to get a haircut.
Well,
I don't know how it is where you're
at, but traditionally,
barbershops are closed on Mondays.
Yeah.
Well, my girl is obvious,
definitely closed on Mondays.
Um,
I cannot get him to with her before
I'm going to have to go to like,
uh, super cuts or sports clips.
Excuse me.
Oh,
what's the one way to give you a
beer when you walk in?
I used to go to that one when
I still live in Homer.
Yeah.
I don't know.
I remember I quit drinking a while back.
I don't know.
It just, I just remember like,
it was pretty cool when you walked in,
he's like, would you like a beer?
you know what?
At the time, I was like,
you know what?
I would absolutely like a beard.
It was like fifteen years ago.
Twelve, fifteen years ago,
something like that.
Ramirez says it's the bearded goat.
That's not where I go.
That's not what it was.
I would remember if it had been called
the bearded goat.
Ramirez is the bearded goat.
Let's be honest here.
The goat of beards.
A hundred percent.
That thing is amazing.
It deserves its own.
It should have its own Instagram page.
Retired Steve, don't know if you noticed,
but Coach Tomlin got his hair shaved down.
Yeah, he's totally bald now.
Well, yeah.
He didn't want to catch no more strays.
He got tired of catching random ass strays
from people he probably doesn't really
even know that well.
That's messed up, dude.
Marcus Freeman.
Yeah,
I color my own stuff just like Mike
Tomlin does.
And Mike Tomlin's like, what the hell,
man?
What's funny, like, that people do, like,
their hairlines go so far back and all
of a sudden, poof,
now the hairline's up at the forehead
again.
Yeah.
Like,
we think that grew back just overnight
because of...
Matthew McConaughey is a perfect example.
Because you go look at, like,
his older movies, right?
like the dudes it was thinning it was
thinning it was receding it was going away
completely and then i saw him on tv
this weekend because he was at the tech
at the ut game obviously and that dude
has got more hair than me he has
got a full shock wherever he is buying
his hair is like that's who everybody
should go to because absolutely because it
looks amazing it does
Yeah.
Look, Stephen A. Smith's hairline.
Yeah,
but he doesn't like try to fake it.
No.
He's just letting it go.
Stephen A.
Smith's hairline has been slowly,
like he's been getting a five head and
then a six head and then a seven
head like for years now,
but he's good with it.
So let it roll.
Yeah.
Embrace it.
Woody Harrelson's brother.
Did you hear him tell that story?
So they're making a show about the whole
situation.
Bro, I just heard,
like it came across my feed at some
point this weekend, and I was like,
where he's telling the story of how
wherever they were at dinner,
Woody happened to be there and whatnot,
and Woody's all like, brother Matt,
brother Matt.
Yeah.
Oh, that's fantastic.
Well,
they have a show coming out called
Brothers on Apple TV like this week,
maybe, or this week or next week.
It looks amazing.
Because it's just McConaughey and
Harrelson being McConaughey and Harrelson.
I would watch that.
I would absolutely watch that.
Love both of them dudes.
Been loving Woody Harrelson since Cheers.
yeah like he was fantastic in that eight
eight hundred years ago um and if it's
if it's up with him and i'm probably
gonna at least give it a look at
the very least give it a look i've
loved him since kelly kelly kelly kelly
kelly kelly kelly kelly i can't believe
that's actually a thing yep it's a show
coming out it's awesome that's fantastic
so basically just the two of them hanging
out smoking weed and doing cool shit so
it's it's the premises that they find out
that they are brothers in some well
related in some way i should say yeah
and i i think woody harrelson's family's
in it i think like
From the story I heard,
McConaughey's mom is definitely in it.
Yeah.
He was great in Zombieland.
He was fantastic in Zombieland.
I love Zombieland.
And I've never seen the second one.
I haven't either.
I actually have it in my queue to
watch on vacation this week.
So we...
We are,
we got to the episode before the season
finale of the first season of Lioness,
right?
So we finished that episode and I asked
Jennifer, I was like, hey,
because she had the remote.
I said, let me,
how many episodes of this are there?
She pulls it up and she's like,
there's only one more.
You want to go to bed?
And I was like, oh yeah,
it's nine fifteen, dude.
Love you.
Because she would have been down to fall
asleep in front of the season finale.
You can, if you want to.
I'm perfectly fine with that.
I'm going to bed.
We watched the movie Mayday this weekend.
I say we loosely because Julie snored
during a good portion of Mayday.
Yeah.
Um, is this what happens at your house?
Look, um,
we'll put something on and then either
that night or like when we finally,
when we go to bed,
when I wake Jennifer up to get off
the,
either she's on the recliner or she's on
the couch next to me.
Like, okay, let's go to bed.
Dude,
like you've been sleeping for thirty
minutes.
Let's go to bed.
And then the next day, I'll be like,
so how far did you make it?
Like, what do you remember?
And she would describe something from the
first eight minutes of whatever it is that
we watched.
And I was like,
I didn't make it any further past that.
Did anything happen after that?
I was like, well, yeah.
The entirety of the show happened after
that.
My favorite is she'll fall asleep for
twenty minutes.
She'll wake up and go,
why are they doing that?
Yeah.
It was explained in detail.
Yeah.
And the frustrating thing is now I've got
to pause the movie
Or the show and explain everything like a
damn TV guide back to my wife as
to what transpired in the last twenty
minutes.
And then we get it all reset.
We hit play again.
We get about ten minutes in and then
all of a sudden.
Why did I waste my time?
Luckily, Jennifer,
even on the days that she doesn't work
from home, she's home well before I am,
and usually before Jameson gets off the
bus.
So she'll get caught up on whatever it
is.
She'll rewatch whatever it is we were
watching the next night.
But nine times out of ten,
that's the conversation that we're having.
Like, how far did you make it?
Well, the opening credit's finished,
and then I don't know what happened after
that.
Okie dokie.
But I got to say,
I appreciate everybody's recommendation
because Lioness is outstanding.
Mayday was all right as advertised.
I think it's all where you set your
expectations.
If I'm watching...
ryan reynolds movie where he is on a
down plane in russia in the i gotta
know there's a little bit of parody to
this thing oh is that what that is
i remember seeing the treat i didn't
remember what it was called yep that
looked fun and kenneth brana is a russian
ex-kgb agent who finds him i i was
entertained i wouldn't say like again
It's not up for Academy Awards or Best
Picture or anything like that,
but I didn't need that on a Friday
night after a long work week.
It sounds like, anyway,
it looks like a popcorn movie,
like something you just go be entertained.
I don't need every movie.
I don't need to cry at the end
of every movie.
I don't need some big thought-provoking
thing.
I just want to go and have fun.
At the end of the day,
if you like Ryan Reynolds' sense of humor
that he uses in every movie he does,
then you'll probably enjoy it.
If you don't, you probably won't.
There you go.
Like every Arnold Schwarzenegger movie
from the late nineties.
It's going to have one-liners.
It's probably going to have some machine
guns.
Probably going to have some punching.
I mean, even Kidney Gordon Cop, dude,
he shot people at the beginning because he
was the police.
Right?
I mean, come on.
Ryan Reynolds can't act.
He has one persona, Van Wilder.
But sometimes there's comfort in that.
It's like seeing an old friend.
The vast majority of them are the same
person in every single movie.
Kevin Costner plays Kevin Costner in every
role.
Tom Cruise, with very few exceptions,
has been Tom Cruise in every single movie.
And he makes the exact same movie every
single time.
There's a hero.
He has some sort of struggle that he
has to overcome.
He overcomes that struggle,
and then they perform a task, right?
It's the same thing for, like,
Jerry Maguire is Top Gun,
is every Mission Impossible movie he's
ever done, is Days of Thunder.
He's making another Days of Thunder,
for Christ's sake.
Yeah.
Top Gun two did so well.
Yes.
Yes.
Let's take care of my grandchildren's
grandchildren.
Absolutely.
And you know what?
I'm going to, I am a huge,
I can recite you days of thunder pretty
much from the beginning all the way
through to the end.
And I'm going to go see days of
thunder too.
You can bet on it.
And I'll say this.
The actors that are like Christian Bale or
like Russell Crowe or like Heath Ledger
that can be different in every role,
those are few and far between.
Few and far between.
Heath Ledger in The Dark Knight was
unrecognizable.
Wouldn't have guessed in a million years
that was Heath Ledger.
Unrecognizable, not the same guy,
not the same guy who was in, uh,
ten things I hate about you.
Not the same guy who was in, um,
A Knight's Tale,
which is also one of my favorite popcorn
movies, which is extremely fun.
Like you didn't recognize him.
Literally.
There's a couple,
a couple of scenes where you can almost
see his face and see that it's him.
But for the most part,
he was the Joker.
Those, those guys are not,
are not a dime a dozen.
What blew me away,
Christian Bale playing Dick Cheney.
Yeah.
There's no way,
no way you could tell me that was
Christian Bale in that movie unless you
were told.
Yeah, and those guys aren't.
Yeah.
I mean,
De Niro's considered one of our greatest
actors ever.
He plays the same damn part in every
role.
He gets cast as Robert De Niro in
every single movie.
But there is a comfort in that.
And that's why people are drawn to those
people.
Like,
I am a massive Sylvester Stallone fan.
And Sylvester Stallone does not play
anybody different.
And I'm okay with that.
Al Pacino, dude.
Yep.
Because she's got a great ass.
And you got your head all the way
up it.
One of my favorite things he's ever said
on screen.
If you've never seen Heat, sorry,
I just ruined one of the scenes for
you, but there you go.
No one has more range than James McAvoy.
I'll give him... Yeah,
I'd say he probably falls off.
He can fall off.
He can disappear into stuff.
Colin Farrell is the most underrated actor
out there, can act any genre,
doesn't mind changing his appearance to do
so, a la The Penguin.
Yeah, Colin Farrell's great.
He's another one that when I first saw
him, when I first, first of all,
when I first heard they were casting him
as The Penguin, I said, they doing what?
Cause it didn't make any sense to me
whatsoever.
And then you actually see him as the
penguin and he's another one.
He's unrecognizable.
Like he does not look anything like the
Colin Farrell that everybody knows.
It doesn't look like bullseye.
It doesn't look like, uh, you know,
when they did the remake of, uh, Oh,
the eighties, the Schwarzenegger movie,
total recall.
Like he's not that guy.
He's not anybody else, but penguin,
like the penguin that they made is it's
outstanding.
He was great in Terrible Bosses.
I was thinking the same thing, Patrick.
That role was off the chain.
Yeah.
So good.
Pacino is Corey's best impersonation.
So far.
You got to understand how many times I've
seen Heat and how many times I laugh
at that scene like it's the first time
I saw it every time I see it.
Just because he gets all up in,
I know that the actor's name,
because he's a voice actor, he does like,
he does eight hundred different Simpsons
categories.
Yep.
Anyway,
it's like all up in his face and
you can see the terror on his face
as he's just growling at him.
He goes, ferocious, aren't I?
It's just something about a woman's ass.
It just gets me going.
Yes, Al Pacino.
I get it.
I'm with you.
Hank Azaria.
Thank you.
I understand.
Yes.
Yeah.
Hank Azaria I used to love and then
he just kind of disappeared.
I don't know.
He married Helen Hunt and then they got
a divorce and all of a sudden his
career went to shitter.
I'm sorry.
As soon as you say Helen Hunt,
one of my oldest friends,
I was the best man at his wedding.
His name is Tony Girardi.
We would send each other pictures of Helen
Hunt every now and again because she looks
kind of mannish.
Like her face,
especially as she's gotten older.
kind of mannish right and then so like
now every time a matter of fact like
three weeks ago out of the blue tony
just texted me a picture and it's helen
hunt and something she's been in recently
and he's like definitely mannish
Well,
I know you were in the chat a
little bit last night.
You probably went to bed before it was
over.
Speaking of shitter.
I caught the rest of it this morning.
Speaking of shitter,
we'd be remiss to not talk about Poopgate
as it has hit my DMs this morning
as well.
Oh, I bet.
Yeah.
don't even know what to do i i
feel like there's this mob mentality now
where everybody has to dog the situation
because the ball got rolling now let's
jump on the ball and so last night
i was trying to be uh the devil's
advocate and i got hammered for being the
devil's advocate in the whole situation
So I'm clear that you didn't listen to
Sevan this morning because he did the
same.
He was team Joanna all morning long,
and everybody was just lighting him up
left and right, myself included.
And so I do understand that it is
disgusting, right?
But I've been in a CrossFit gym for
fifteen years.
We're all disgusting.
It's a little bit different when there's
liquid poop running down your leg.
You are in the lead,
so there's people running behind you.
No, it's not semantics.
It's liquid poop running down your leg.
It can't be semantics.
Semantics is not involved with that.
The reality of the situation is that I've
seen it happen at marathons.
I've seen it or I've heard of it
happening because I haven't actually been
to one at –
Ironmans, right?
That is on an open course on a
road and you're not sharing equipment with
the rest of the people.
But you want to shit yourself during the
twenty six point one and keep running,
knock yourself out.
Nobody's going to care.
But if somebody has to come and do
burpee broad jumps behind you,
that's a problem.
So here's what I'm going to say.
High Rocks did not handle the situation
correctly.
If you prohibit spitting on the course,
you sure as hell shouldn't allow shitting
on the course.
You would think.
Right?
Like, it was not handled properly.
My issue with the whole thing is the
mob mentality just not letting this thing
die.
Well, I mean, it just happened.
And there's nothing else going on either.
So that's a double win.
It's everything that happens in this
space.
And I'm probably just more acutely aware
of it because I do a show every
day.
Yeah.
And it gets just brought up a lot.
And I don't know.
I just have a hard time with everybody
piling on over and over and over again
with all these things.
And so I just find that...
Well, as the arbiters of truth.
Here's the thing,
is that everybody's going to have
something to say about it one way or
another, right?
And it's mostly because of, number one,
how our hierarchs handled it in the
moment,
which is by not handling it whatsoever.
Because from the pictures and the stuff
that I saw,
they didn't clean up everything until
after it was all done,
which is a huge problem.
sanitary problem,
like not a good one whatsoever.
This story needs to be flushed down the
toilet and forgotten.
Oh, hey.
Oh,
and then the the Instagram post talking
about we're going to find people who's
been threatening her and you're going to
never be able to do a hot rocks
and whatnot.
Instead of going, hey, we messed up.
We handled this terribly and just leave.
That's all you have to say.
We're going to be better going forwards.
If you read the statement,
it is about threats to her.
If they were threats, yes,
you should be banned.
Nobody should be threatened over an action
that takes place.
It wasn't truly her fault.
High Rock should have stepped in and done
something about it.
I would love to see where people were
actually threatening her.
We don't have the access to any of
her DMs.
We don't have access to any of that.
And people are shitty.
Pun intended.
Pun intended.
right and it wouldn't surprise me
necessarily but to come out and say that
you know it's been it's been so many
of them that wouldn't what how do they
even know that they went back in and
she was like hey people are i don't
know i shit out all over everything but
people are you know giving me death
threats and she's running back to high
rocks to ask them to do something about
it they should have done something about
it in the first place and like wayne's
saying
I understand about wanting to win.
I get that part of it and that
you're out in front and that you're really
good at this, whatever.
And as soon as the shit started running
all the way down your leg and covered
your entire right leg, you're done, dude.
I'm sorry.
You're done.
You are.
Take yourself out at that point.
And then none of this has to happen
to begin with.
Elite athletes are going to push
themselves through crazy shit that none of
us can understand.
Pardon the pun.
However,
that is why High Rock should have stepped
in.
It's like a football player with a
concussion who wants to go back in and
play.
And the NFL has now stepped in.
They have spotters that say, hey,
that guy doesn't look okay.
He needs to be checked.
Right?
And so High Rock's handled this horribly,
horribly.
And...
bigger they get the more these problems
are going to pop up we had the
world's problem with uh people um with
people getting no repped and then
disqualified and other people winning and
that was a show from a pr standpoint
and i think patrick mentioned that they
need to get somebody in there that handles
this stuff better because they're not
handling any of these things well
I don't disagree with that at all.
I remember telling one of our group chats,
I was like,
who knew that the beginning of the
downfall of High Rocks,
all it would take is one skinny chick
shit all over.
I don't think that's the beginning.
But like I said,
I think Worlds was the beginning of the
downfall.
When you can't even implement your rules
properly to adjudicate the World
Championships, that's a problem.
Yeah, and Howie's got a point right here.
If they stopped it,
they would have to give thousands of
people refunds.
Instead now,
they're probably going to have to deal
with legal shit.
The problem I think that comes in right
there, Howie,
is that whatever the rules are in China,
because that's where it was, right?
It was in Shanghai.
So who knows?
If it was in the States,
they'd have got served probably a thousand
times by now.
Like lawyers would have been all over that
country.
But who knows?
Because it's in Shanghai.
I have absolutely no idea what the legal
stuff looks like over there as far as
that kind of stuff is concerned.
Especially with a foreign entity coming
in, putting on an event,
and it happens to be in Shanghai and
all this other stuff happens.
So...
Who knows what's it going to come to?
I am personally also over it.
I happened to be eating breakfast
yesterday when Hiller's video popped up,
and I was like, oh, what is this?
And I had to stop it and finish
eating so I could actually,
because it actually had the pictures and
whatnot on it,
because I could smell the pictures.
I do want to answer this.
This comment, if they stopped it,
they would have to give thousands of
people refunds.
I think if they stopped it,
they would have to give less refunds.
By letting it go on,
she contaminated more and more equipment.
The minute it happened and they would have
jumped in and stopped it,
they could have cleaned that one area and
been done.
So from what I saw somebody yesterday,
I don't remember where it was,
but they said she was on her second
kilometer when it started.
So I was like, is it the very,
I mean,
is it the beginning of the race?
Nip it in the bud.
Literally.
Literally.
Knock it out right there.
Stop it.
Seal off that area.
Clean it up.
Let her go get herself cleaned up.
And then let her go to another heat.
Is that, is that, is that, is that,
am I being crazy?
Is that so hard to figure out?
Like I am not a smart man by
any stretch of the imagination.
I am blessed with an almost ridiculous
amount of common sense as it turns out.
And it seems like that had been a
real easy thing to do because I'm sure
it was spotted as soon as it happened.
Hey,
is that shit running down that chick's
leg?
Well,
you would have to think a judge in
that area would have seen it immediately
or smelled it.
Both.
Thanks, Ortega.
It's fantastic, Vicky.
Clock says,
I'm surprised you can say shit on YouTube.
I've had comments censored off live chat
with the word.
It's all how you have your settings in
YouTube.
There's nothing in my YouTube channel that
says you can't say shit.
She didn't give two shits about her
competitors.
I'll be here all day.
Dippy bartenders, folks.
Marissa's here all day.
I'm guessing the staff was in the back
doing rock, paper, scissors.
Not it.
Not it.
Rochambeau, baby.
Rochambeau.
Oh, anyway.
Yeah, I'm over it.
I really am.
I don't want to hear about it again.
For me,
that's just another reason why I'm not
signing up for a High Rocks.
You're afraid someone's going to shit in
front of you?
After seeing that and the way it was
handled, or not handled, I would say,
why would I want to sign up for
one?
They're just getting,
they grew so fast trying to,
it happens to every business, right?
These small businesses that jump to medium
businesses that jump to large businesses,
the uptake to get equipped for all of
that is so hard.
And they grew so fast.
And I think that's what happened to like
Spartan Race and Tough Mudders and all of
those things.
They grew so fast and then they couldn't,
like when I first did a Tough Mudder
everybody got it got timed by the last
tough or by the last um Warrior Dash
I did they didn't even time everybody you
got to select if you wanted to be
timed right because there were so many
people they couldn't like configure it
enough which is silly and if you're not
going to time it why do it right
right like
Scott,
this gives a new definition to the word
mutter.
She was tough mutton, all right.
He was tough mutton, all right.
Ortega,
you'd never know if someone shit
themselves in a Spartan or...
A Tough Mudder or...
I got news for you.
The Tough Mudder I did,
we went through a literal mud pit.
Great.
I was standing in mud up to my,
basically over my knees.
And you would have known,
like somebody could have peed, pooped,
whatever.
Yeah, you'd never know.
You could predict it.
It happens in marathons.
It happens in triathlons.
It happens all the time in those endurance
races.
So, and not usually,
not usually two kilometers in,
but still you're,
you're talking about a woman who is one
of the best in the world at high
rocks.
She needs to qualify for worlds.
She probably woke up not feeling well and
said, Hey,
I got to give it a shot.
This is my opportunity to make worlds.
And she just pushed through and whoever
came after paid the price.
Which was everybody because she won.
Anyway, moving right along.
All right.
Hey,
I don't know if you guys have heard,
but Third Z has chocolate flavor now,

I know some of you have already taken
advantage of this because I get notified

And I've heard not a single complaint
about the chocolate.
If you have a frother electronic author,
bro.
Outstanding, you know, outstanding.
I'm just saying.
Yeah, good stuff.
Go check it out now.
And they still have strawberry lemonade if
you're still in that summer feel.
So you can do that too.
Yeah, it's ninety one degrees outside.
It's still summertime here.
I do like this comment.
She was playing Mario Kart in front of
her competitors.
Much rather she had used a banana instead
of... Hey,
you know that guy I talked about in
our open?
there's that dude you know the guy that
you know you watch sports and and they
have to talk shit all the time and
and even when their team loses and your
team wins they find some way to to
try to dog you but when you're sitting
one and oh and they're sitting on one
it's really easy just to ignore it you
know that guy i do that guy yeah
I do know that guy.
To be fair,
he's not happy with his team.
He's quite unhappy with his team.
I'm unhappy as well, mostly with the refs.
I have not watched a Saints game
like on purpose, in quite some time.
Yesterday, get back from church,
finish watching Manchester United,
put on the Saints game,
and I was literally putting it on just
in time to find out that as long
as you intend to throw a forward pass,
you're good.
It's just going to be a fumble,
just as long as that's your intent.
I don't know how many quarterbacks have,
like there have been historically,
in the NFL,
like from the time the NFL started until,
you know, right here today,
September fourteenth, twenty twenty six.
I'm assuming it's been a lot and I'm
going to go ahead and go out on
a limb and say probably all of them
intend to throw.
A forward pass.
I mean, you can assume that,
but I always assume that you win a
game if you have more points than the
other team and the clock has run out.
Yeah, well,
we also find out that that is not
always the case.
We also found out that.
That's a fair point.
No, I didn't even think about that.
I'm glad you said that because that was
an absolute fair point.
Yes, Ramirez, he showed capacity.
We have to remember, too,
it's week one for the refs.
Oh, thank God.
Thank you, Andrew Sten.
Mike Pereira should be fired for that
explanation.
Absolutely.
Well, he intended to throw a forward pass.
Okay,
that's a viable explanation if it's peewee
football and it's five-year-olds that are
out there about to throw the ball.
Not professionals at the highest level of
the sport.
Come on.
Yeah, dude.
The reffing yesterday was a – and I
will – Jeremy and I have had our
shit-talking moments.
Sure.
The Packers got jobbed yesterday,
like real bad.
Yeah.
Like, real bad.
And I hate the Packers.
So I enjoyed them getting jobbed.
I'm not going to lie.
Right.
But they got jobbed.
But I want to tell you, like,
the Saints looked good yesterday.
Tyler Shuck looks like a dude.
Four hundred and ten yards.
And the fact that their coach went for
the win in overtime instead of the tie,
I applaud every time.
And look, you know,
obviously I get a lot of Saints stuff
come through my feed and whatnot and on
threads and wherever else.
And the vast majority, I mean,
a lot of people just absolutely incensed
about the intended to throw a forward pass
thing.
But even with the loss in overtime,
the fact that we came back,
Chuck didn't play a preseason game.
You know that?
Yeah.
Like, none.
A lot of quarterbacks don't.
Yeah.
So, his actual first game of the season,
right, made this ridiculous comeback.
Throws for four hundred and ten yards.
People are, you know,
the general vibe around the Saints
community, if you will, such as it were,
is positive because we look damn good.
We haven't looked that good in quite some
time.
So, I'm excited, man.
Yeah.
And that's a high-powered offense.
So, giving up points, I get it.
But to hang...
Yeah, I don't know.
But if the Saints scored, what,
thirty seven on the Lions,
I don't know what the Bears are going
to do.
We might put up eighty entirely possible
after fifty nine points yesterday.
I I was watching a Bears podcast this
morning and someone called and said,
I didn't even know we were allowed to
score that many points.
I understand, dude.
I understand.
It hasn't been like that in New Orleans
in quite some time,
so I feel how that is.
I used to have a meme somewhere that's
a picture of when Drew Brees was still
in his heyday.
There's Drew Brees and just a button down
with a tie,
blue button down with a tie,
and it said,
it's only business when I drop forty
points on you.
Sorry.
We haven't had that kind of vibe down
here, like I said, since well before,
since before he retired.
So,
the bears have been around since i don't
know if we've ever had a performance like
we had yesterday offensively and second i
am the guy that's watched them i remember
the days where if we crossed midfield it
was success oh yeah like it's been that
bad absolutely absolutely and so yeah i
was enjoying every bit of yesterday every
bit
But yeah, I had a great sports day.
Lando finished on the podium,
even though he got jobbed.
Clara Clarissian.
No, not Lando Norris.
Here's the thing.
I was there last night from when y'all
were talking about that.
And as soon as I,
as soon as we got down to this
portion of today and I like, oh,
he's going to talk about Lando again.
I was like,
that's the only Lando I really know is
Lando Clarissian.
So,
which he would probably end up on a
podium too,
because technically the Millennium Falcon,
which is the fastest ship in the galaxy
was his.
By hook or crook.
I got to tie all that shit together.
It's fine.
Packers had Wentz looking like it was two
thousand seventeen again.
Yeah.
Yeah.
No, Jeremy.
The answer is no.
Jeremy,
you have a sports show to do tomorrow.
Or we'd never get to talk football.
Yeah.
And, oh,
apparently Papa Birch took second place in
that liftoff competition that he did.
Yay, Papa Birch.
Good old Papa Birch.
That dude is strong, man.
He is.
He's got that old man country strong
strength.
Yeah.
Yeah.
That actually looked... Vicky,
is that an actual picture you took?
That looks like his hat that he wears
pretty often.
Yeah.
I think she grabbed that from Instagram,
I'm guessing, because that looks legit.
Yeah, it looks like him.
Um,
it was a great sports week and hook
them horns.
I got to tell you,
living in Columbus and these,
I was about to ask Buckeye fans to
deal with every day.
Oh my gosh.
It,
the fact that they got their ass handed
to them after being up so big and
Arch Manning making the comeback,
my wife and I were cheering.
Yes.
Oh, we'll get one week of peace.
Yeah.
Uh,
all the stuff flying around about their
coach,
just like getting a lead and then just
sit on this and start like going extremely
conservative play calling.
And like, we don't have,
we got the opposite of that going on
down here.
Cause Lane Kiffin is brick on the gas
pedal until I see a checkered flag or
meet Jesus one or two.
Like we're going to score as many points.
You can talk all that smack you want.
They did not look good in the first
half.
this week.
No, here's the thing.
So I was talking to my,
one of my friends about this yesterday,
um, at the gym is that,
and I had to,
I had to go back and,
and I want to hear no excuses about
letdowns or any of that shit.
No, not at all.
Okay.
Um,
I think that,
so if you go back and look,
our play calling looked terrible.
We ran, let's run up the middle,
and we're going to run up the middle
again.
We're going to run up the middle again.
It looked like Les Miles was calling plays
from whenever he was a coach back forever
ago.
And I think that was at least partially,
let's try some stuff out.
Because we didn't do that last week,
right?
We moved the ball around, right side,
left side, outside, inside.
Like,
there's a whole lot of that going on.
And partially,
trying to add that stuff out,
and partially is not giving Ole Miss a
whole lot of film to look at this
week.
Because we literally ran off-tackle,
off-tackle right, off-tackle left,
off-tackle right, off-tackle left, punt.
Like,
there was a whole lot of that going
on,
and that's not Lane Kiffin's freaking game
plan.
And then towards the end of the game,
by the time they got worn down –
and, look, credit to La Tech.
They have a fantastic defense.
Like, their defense is for real.
I don't give a damn what anybody says.
If you watched that game the other night,
we could barely run the ball whatsoever
where we ran the shit out of it
the week before that.
Yeah.
Trying to work out and follow this chat
is multitasking at its most challenging.
Hey,
you only get better by doing hard things,
Fergie.
I've heard that somewhere.
I'm not trying to remember where it was.
Wayne, to be honest,
Manning didn't look good most of the game.
You know what matters, Wayne?
When the clock hits zero or zero plus
one,
If you have more points than the other
team, that's all that matters.
I know Jeremy thinks otherwise,
but really in sports,
if you have more points than the other
team at the end of the game,
that's all that matters.
Unless you're Michigan.
That's why I said zero plus one.
Unless you're Michigan.
If you're Michigan,
as long as you're tied at the very
least, once the clock ends,
then you can probably still win.
And for KDL, that's sports.
That's just sports.
That's just sports.
Oh, poor Westerners again.
I still feel bad at them.
Somebody said, Jeremy said,
Michigan beating Oklahoma doesn't make any
sense.
I don't know if you ever paid attention
to Oklahoma football,
but that makes perfect fucking sense.
I don't know if you've watched the Oregon
game, but getting beat by Oklahoma State,
who had a twelve game losing streak,
comes to your house.
You're a top five team and you get
your ass handed to you.
Not just, not just beat.
They got, they got whooped.
Yeah.
So, um,
We got back from the five K and
hung out for a little bit when me
and Jennifer went running to the grocery
store and stopped and brought Brody
because their car wash he works at is
right there.
Stopped and brought Brody some food and he
walks up to grab his food and he
sticks his head in one of the looks
at me goes,
a team that should not be beating Oregon
is currently beating the dog shit.
It's the first time in history that a
team with a losing streak that long beat
a top five team.
Yeah.
Again, proving that,
and I've said this for a while, yeah,
Phil Knight's house.
Yeah.
Correction, Phil Knight's house,
not Oregon.
Somebody said on,
I don't know if I saw it on
threads or whatever, it was like, luckily,
Oregon still has eight point seven million
jersey combinations that they can choose
from for the rest of the season,
because clearly that's what really matters
and not, you know,
actually winning football games.
So can I talk about jersey,
the jersey combination crap, please?
So I know that like people do it
so they can sell more.
Right.
Well,
I have this one and now I can
buy this one and now I can buy
this one.
yep i've been a penn state fan since
the day i was born they have not
changed their uniforms one time in the
history of me watching them and i love
that i love that in this day where
everybody has eighteen different uniform
combinations that we have white pants and
either blue or white jerseys and a white
helmet it just is what it is
It'd be like if Alabama changed their
uniforms.
It just doesn't make sense.
That's never going to happen.
Right.
There are certain schools that...
And Notre Dame's starting to flirt with
that.
It's stupid.
You've been around for so long as the
gold helmet,
the blue shirt with the white letters.
They added gold sparkly numbers the other
day.
Like...
Like your daughters be dazzled the Jersey
for you.
Oh, no.
Like I get, I just,
I'm picturing the Notre Dame organization
sending out an email to all of the,
uh,
to all of the parents of the players
and whatnot and be like all wives and
daughters.
And we're,
we're inviting everybody to come by,
be dazzled some jerseys for us.
Please.
So for me,
to have those schools that just stay
steady with that jersey,
I respect that so much more.
Dude, we've done it before.
It drives me bananas.
All of a sudden,
LSU shows up with an actual gold-colored
helmet.
Those sequins will mess you up.
Don't want to tackle those.
Why is he bleeding?
Looks like the defensive tackle for
Alabama is coming off the field with blood
on his hand.
We're on it, Fergie.
That's going to be the first variation.
We're going to bedazzle the logo.
But that'll be a premium jersey,
so that'll be like double the price,
just so you know.
It's going to cost a little bit more.
It's just more time and effort going into
it.
But yeah, LSU's done it.
So LSU's colors are purple and gold.
But if you go look at our gold,
it's yellow, okay?
Everybody knows that.
It's not a secret.
It's like a couple of years ago,
they were going to do some, you know,
whatever you want to call it,
special Jersey night or whatever.
And they had actual gold colored helmets,
like look kind of like Notre Dame's.
And when I tell you they were looked
terrible, it just looked bad.
Like why, why, why?
Let's not do that.
Let's not do that.
It's a yellow helmet.
It's got LSU and a tiger on it.
Done.
Moving right along.
Can I tell you the thing that made
me laugh the most this weekend in college
football?
Please.
So you know what the colors of Michigan
are?
Unfortunately, yes.
Do you know the official names?
Oh, no.
So it's maize and blue.
Oh, it's maize and blue.
Maize and blue.
Forgive me.
So there were people in the crowd dressed
as corn.
Yeah.
And then all I could think about is
Rob Schneider from Grown Ups going, Mace,
Mace, Mace.
Gosh darn.
It's maize and blue,
so let's dress up like,
you know what we should do is dress
up like corn before we get out there
on the floor.
We're going to dress up like maize.
Maize.
That is just silly.
Oh, my word, that is silly.
I literally laughed so hard when I saw
them dressed.
Like, you see that at Nebraska, right?
That makes sense, the corn huskers?
The corn huskers, yeah.
But to dress up as maize.
Because, you know, Michigan,
that's what they're mostly known for is
their corn production.
Jesus Christ.
Oh, man.
That was right up there with the game
day signs.
Yeah.
Oh, absolutely.
Absolutely.
Yeah.
We're going to be on game day a
second time this season.
You're on this week?
I'm almost positive they're at Ole Miss
this week, yeah.
I could be wrong,
but I'm ninety-nine percent sure.
There you go, Fergie.
That's not the right price, though.
No, no, no.
That's an updated picture,
but not updated price.
Yeah,
we're still in negotiation with the
laborers on the bedazzling.
But if you want a regular plain one,
still available.
Yeah.
For week three of twenty twenty six
college football season,
LSU ESPN's college game day is heading to
Oxford,
Mississippi for a matchup between LSU.
Can I just say I feel so bad
for the game day crew.
They have been in Louisiana,
Texas and Mississippi.
Yeah.
Hot as hell, dude.
Sweating it out the entire time.
Pat McAfee has so much water running off
of his head every week.
That is crazy.
They're probably like,
can't we go to Minnesota?
Yeah,
anywhere that's not a hundred degrees.
They kept talking about it Saturday night,
like during the game, about, oh, you know,
it's hot out there.
Oh, it's hot out there.
It's hot out there.
I remember thinking, like,
it really wasn't that hot this afternoon.
Like, as I went outside at some point,
no one looked at it.
It was still eighty seven degrees at like
seven thirty.
And I was like, oh, yeah,
I guess it is kind of warm still.
Yeah, no big deal.
But they were playing La Tech.
La Tech knew it was hot.
That'd be a tough gig, man.
That year that it got really hot at
the games and we were in the media
pit,
you could only stand a couple heats at
North Park.
And then you had to run for shade,
run for liquid, because it was bad.
Like this past week, for sure,
there wasn't any kind of breeze blowing.
We did a five K Saturday morning for
the Travis Mannion foundation.
I love it.
Heroes run.
And the three,
four days before that at like,
cause they didn't start to eight, eight,
three in the morning,
but it had been low eighties.
It was kind of nice.
It'd been kind of overcast Saturday
morning.
Ninety degrees, bright sunshine,
not a cloud in the sky, dude.
No breeze, nothing.
Like, it was miserable, dude.
I literally took my shirt and, like,
wrung it out afterwards because it was
just so miserable.
And I was like,
that probably carried on through the rest
of the day.
And then they got out there on the
football field.
Yay!
Yeah, there you go.
Amanda says it was one-sixteen on the
field in Texas.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I was one twenty four at the Bears
game yesterday.
People keep saying, oh, it's fall.
Nope, it's not fall.
It's September.
It's that doesn't mean it's fall down
here.
I clearly remember sweating it out on
Halloween,
like going trick or treating and got a
costume on and just.
Covered in sweat by the time I get
home.
Now,
we've also had some where it was kind
of sort of nice.
Not really.
Not that hot, but yeah.
Halloween in Ohio can either be ninety or
snowing.
Yeah.
You just never know.
It's a complete flip of the coin.
But you know where I'm going to be
the night before Halloween this year?
I'm going to be at Rocky in concert.
Oh,
the thing you were talking about where
they play the score?
Yeah.
Yeah,
the symphony plays the score while the
movie's playing.
Carolyn got, like,
she was aggressive talking about their
soundtrack, and you were like, no, no, no,
they're not playing.
No, not Rocky IV.
They're not playing Rocky IV stuff.
It's Rocky I.
But there's just going to be a symphony
going on.
The real Rocky.
Yeah, the original.
Yeah.
you know like that like in your chest
while the movie's going on it'd be like
going to see uh chariots of fire and
them actually playing chariots of fire
live while you were there or like star
wars like with the score from star i've
heard that's a thing the star wars thing
where they actually play like you can go
watch it at an amphitheater and there'll
be a live uh there you go i
watched harry potter like that
Even like Avengers,
you don't realize the score that's behind
the Avengers movie.
Jameson, my daughter,
recognizes the Avengers theme now.
If it plays briefly during another thing
or if it's on a trailer for something,
she's like, Daddy,
it's the Avengers music.
I know better.
Or take a watch Star Wars that way
too.
It was dope.
I bet.
I like that kind of stuff.
It adds to it.
It would add to it for me.
Jaws in concert would be intense.
Just... That would be outstanding.
Jack Black's character in The Holiday
talks about that two chords of music
completely set the emotional tone of that
entire movie.
Oh, Lord, yeah.
Two chords.
Yeah.
Jameson wanted to watch The Devil in the
Night.
I forgot what something she saw something.
Daddy, can we watch Jaws?
No.
No.
Here's the thing.
It's not because I don't want to,
but your little eight-year-old ass is not
going to sleep tonight.
Right.
That means you're not going to sleep
tonight either because you're going to be
in my bedroom five different times.
Daddy, I was having bad thoughts.
Is it about a giant shark?
I bet you that's what it's about.
I bet you that's what you had bad
thoughts about.
You know,
I thought the movie that was more
terrifying to me was Piranha.
Piranha scared the shit out of me as
a kid.
I don't know why.
Shh.
oh you know there's a mystery science
theater three thousand episode about about
piranha i i i need to see it
right because i know it's bad but when
i was a kid like i was terrified
well yeah because there's bodies of water
everywhere and like sharks live in the
ocean that's one thing but like piranha
could be anywhere it might be piranha in
this pool i don't even know that's
fantastic yeah snakes on a plane yeah if
there was a snake on a plane this
guy ain't ever getting on
I'm tired of all these goddamn snakes.
Nothing was as scary as a kid as
E.T.
E.T.
did not scare me.
I was like twelve when that came out,
so I wasn't like a kid kid.
I was six.
My mom brought me to see it.
I'll never forget.
I was crying my eyes out because E.T.
left, right?
He actually went home and I was boohooing
and bawling.
And as we're going out to theater,
I asked my mom,
will we go see it again?
Yeah,
my daughter boohooed and bawled at the end
when he went home.
We had to restart the DVD to bring
him back.
Oh, yeah, he's back.
Yeah, we got him back.
We got him back.
Everything's good.
The tricks you play on kids.
Oh, yeah.
Look, baby, no, he's back.
It's okay.
Let's go to bed right now while he's
still back.
He came back to see the kids.
Look, see?
Fine.
Got him some more Reese's Pieces.
Everything's good to go.
All right.
No, man.
Let's get the hell out of here.
Make sure.
Stay clean.
Don't poop yourself.
Like and subscribe.
Like and subscribe.
Do all that stuff.
Hold your bowels today, people.
It's important.
I wouldn't wait to get to the editing
room to jazz me up.
I'm already jazzy.
