00;00;05;27 - 00;00;09;27
Speaker 1
She goes in front would help the younger.
00;00;09;29 - 00;00;11;09
Speaker 2
Of courage.
00;00;11;11 - 00;00;20;16
Speaker 1
Unbelievable. There's nothing but. Racer man. World championship title.
00;00;20;18 - 00;00;50;22
Speaker 1
Alrighty. Welcome back. Episode 51 of the unfunded podcast. I'm Lachlan Jones, your host professional triathlete here with my good friend Leighton Wall, also the co-host of the unfunded podcast and professional triathlete. Well said. Well said. Big week, big week. We, we did miss last week. Yes. Very much apologized for that. We did have a little bit of, let's say PTSD of the podcasting studio.
00;00;50;22 - 00;01;10;05
Speaker 1
I think we needed to spend a little bit of time out of it. I think as some people might have seen on the socials, we we had a really, really big and exciting guest on the podcast. I think we recorded maybe Wednesday. Yeah. So that was a really good episode with, as some of you might know, the president of World Triathlon.
00;01;10;05 - 00;01;30;28
Speaker 1
So that was super exciting with a lot of good information out of him. Unfortunately though, we forgot to hit the record button. It was devastating. It was the biggest f up in our podcast careers. Yeah, honestly, over 51 episodes and and we didn't hit record. It does it before. It doesn't get much bigger than that. Guess that does it.
00;01;30;29 - 00;01;47;08
Speaker 1
Yeah. Like, oh you can get some big athletes, you know, like if we got the the pinnacle. I mean we've had Maddie Hauser on after he became 2025 world champion. So that was pretty big. But you know if you got like a Blumenfeld on that might be that's probably a bit bigger. If you maybe get an Alex an Olympic champion.
00;01;47;10 - 00;02;08;22
Speaker 1
You know Yan for Dino, you know, some of those big, big athletes. I don't reckon we would have felt the, maybe the nerve or the pressure. I don't know, it's a different atmosphere, wasn't it? It was different. It was very, you know, the the guys on the committee, the committee on the, on the board, you know, they're they're politicians, they're big dogs.
00;02;08;28 - 00;02;30;00
Speaker 1
It's it's a bit out of our area. They're there suits and not try suits like we were. Yeah. We're in proper suits. We're the locker wearing suits. And, I mean, if you if you've listened to this podcast enough, you know that we're very far from politicians. So, yeah, we have our little style, which is a bit more laid back but casual.
00;02;30;01 - 00;02;48;16
Speaker 1
Yeah. Yeah, it was, it was a clash, wasn't it, when we were throwing some slang his his way. And it was very, very formal in return. It was a bit like, oh, we're going to have her work cut out for us here. But other than that we were going to make it work. That episode will be out as soon as we sort of fix up a little audio mistakes.
00;02;48;16 - 00;03;07;26
Speaker 1
And yeah, it's going to be a bit harder for our editor. Sorry. Yeah, he's got his work cut out for him on that one. But he's a genius. He'll make it work. And yeah. So that is let's let's going to let's say that that is our reason for not giving a bit of a World Series intro. Yeah. Traumatized.
00;03;07;27 - 00;03;26;14
Speaker 1
We yeah. We just couldn't get back in the studio after we needed a couple of days to recoup. And and we were in the studio for a long time interviewing. I think it was. It was in Tonio to two hours, the longest episode we've done as well, 2 to 3 hours of intense interrogation. But, we've, we've we've overcome our demons and we're back in the studio.
00;03;26;14 - 00;03;47;14
Speaker 1
We're we're ready for more. So, how have you been, though? Have you been? I've been good. Other than that. Yeah. That was traumatizing. Other than that, I've been good. Just ticking along. Done uni for the trimester, so I'm happy. I'm just cruising. Training. That's about it. Exam Leighton is a different Leighton. He's a bit. Yeah. I gotta be antsy.
00;03;47;15 - 00;04;04;13
Speaker 1
Yeah. He's not. No, he's fun to be around. Oh, am I a little bit less though? Just a little less. It's like you don't get too much out of him. Yeah. No, I focus on you. I'm like, okay, let's go. Come on. The boys always go, oh, you don't want to fuck around. Like after training. I've just come on out.
00;04;04;15 - 00;04;23;13
Speaker 1
We need to sit down and have a chat. That's what we're here for. Like, I'm like, not like. Yeah, I love the, you know, coffee post training or the sit down and chat post training where I'm like, no. Yeah. You're not, you're not that even when we're doing an easy aerobics set, you know, a swim set, sometimes I want to sit on the wall and chat for two minutes, but get done, get done, then go.
00;04;23;13 - 00;04;46;22
Speaker 1
But now, not month off and then back into it. Any racing on the cards? Yeah. Racing. Well, I'll be going to Europe in I think six weeks. 5 or 6 weeks. Right. Race a couple times over there. Go to remove the boys. That'll be fun. Im jealous. Yeah, I might come. I mean, you came to Japan. Don't tell me you'll be there.
00;04;46;23 - 00;05;07;06
Speaker 1
Send me your flights. I'll be there. We're. We're going to font remotely. Well, the podcast can't continue. Otherwise, we're not doing it online again. I have to follow you. Exactly right. So the mark will be coming? Yeah. Yeah. A little bit of a Europe stint. Yeah. Nice meeting you there for six weeks. Total six weeks. So try and get three races in.
00;05;07;13 - 00;05;31;04
Speaker 1
What races? Well. Uni champs. First one in Switzerland. Yeah. They'll try and race. Derry. You're a bit of a specialist at the World Uni. Yep, yep. You love that one. Good one. You get the Aussie suit. Do they give you an Aussie? We're in the pot lines of oh, get that sorted. Okay. And then I'll try and go race Derry in Ireland and then hopefully bounce to Tunisia.
00;05;31;09 - 00;05;51;22
Speaker 1
That's it. Oh yeah. That's a see though. Yeah. Why is that? Well I don't really want to go to Africa by myself. Oh come on I mean yeah I probably will be made people there. Yeah, yeah I think Africa and we've been to Africa a couple times like, I don't know, I feel like been to Tunisia though. Yeah.
00;05;51;23 - 00;06;16;16
Speaker 1
It's a good point. I think Tunisia is a little bit more rough than we have. We have heard from some horror stories about Tunisia. Wouldn't go by yourself? No, but surely I think quite privileged mail would be a bit different. Maybe if you're a female, maybe we'll talk it out there. If anybody that listens to this one's going to Monastir to newsy up on the 12th, the race is on the 12th of September.
00;06;16;17 - 00;06;33;19
Speaker 1
Leighton wants a travel buddy. I need a buddy. Yeah, so we need the buddy system in place. Leighton needs a buddy to buy two. Yeah, yeah, yeah, and that's how we go. Okay, well, let's put it out there. That'd be awesome. Anywhere else in the world, I'm happy to go by myself. Yeah, yeah. Asia? Yep. America. Yeah. Never been there, but you're fine.
00;06;33;20 - 00;06;55;13
Speaker 1
Yeah, yeah, yeah, a buddy would be great. So that's to the podcast world. Anybody listening? If you're going to Tunisia. He also don't want too many people going. Yeah, I just want one, buddy. I just want one buddy buddy. I mean, look, we're not we're not you know, we're not the most famous podcast either. So I think if we get one that's pretty good.
00;06;55;15 - 00;07;22;15
Speaker 1
That would be pretty good. Awesome. What have you been doing? I started running rehab. Yeah, road to rehab started running last week. So did my big session. Last week was 30 minutes total, four minutes. Walk. Warm up, four minutes walk. Warm down seven by one minute run. Two minutes walk. Oh, it's a start. Yep. So what's that? 23 minutes of walking and seven minutes of running.
00;07;22;15 - 00;07;42;07
Speaker 1
So yeah, that was a lot of fun. That was a lot of fun. Went down the glitter strip from anybody that's been on the Gold Coast before. Went down the glitter strip from north belly to belly. Did my little hot girl walk. It was pretty funny. I went with her. I went with a friend and we ordered a coffee, did my four minute walk warm up, handed her my coffee, did my 45 seconds down, 15 seconds back and to be back.
00;07;42;07 - 00;07;57;17
Speaker 1
My coffee. Yeah, a little bit of a hot girl gossip sesh. So that's good. That's good fun. But I feel like I'm starting to get fit again, which is nice. And yeah, anybody that obviously had a crack this morning in the pool. Yeah, I, I saw Leighton, Leighton and I were lined up and I let him go for the first.
00;07;57;20 - 00;08;12;19
Speaker 1
How far was the main set. Three K yeah I let him go for the first 2.8 K he was doing his fast sets and then the last 200. I thought I'd give him some biggies. And yeah, I went for saw that and I was like no yeah. Can't be doing. You put a good body length into me in the first 50.
00;08;12;20 - 00;08;26;27
Speaker 1
And then I clawed back and I was like, I've got to beat him here. Like if I beat him, how funny. I'm going to rub that in his face. I couldn't dead heat, I couldn't. I think I was also sitting at 95% of my max heart rate. So I was I was inching closer to death. But it's been good.
00;08;26;27 - 00;08;51;19
Speaker 1
Everything's good and excited to sort of see how the season unfolds because like we said, we didn't get to preview it. Yeah, the World Series is red hot. Exactly right. Red head on. It has shifted the World Series. I think the biggest misses were the people that weren't there. It's it's interesting seeing the the overall standings, the ladder.
00;08;51;20 - 00;09;07;12
Speaker 1
Yeah I mean obviously you got like you can't not have Matty. How Houser be the fan favorite. Oh not the fan favorite but be the favorite. Yeah. You know last year when you're coming back as a defending world champ you're always going to be the favorite. But he's got one race to his name at the moment. Only one.
00;09;07;13 - 00;09;25;28
Speaker 1
Yeah he might have raced two but then DNF I don't think that counts. It's got one race to his name and it still puts him in the top 20. I think he's 20th overall. Yes with a thousand points. Yeah I mean I mean it's a good first score. Yeah exactly. But I mean Vasco is very very close to a perfect score.
00;09;25;29 - 00;09;46;12
Speaker 1
Yeah. He's first first and a second 25 points off 45 or 75. 75. Yeah. Which. Well you can't get better than that. Besides Matt House last year. Yeah. I mean, all he needs is one more win. One more win to go to a perfect score. But do you risk getting that perfect or do you just go on a big training block right now and wait until September?
00;09;46;13 - 00;10;08;11
Speaker 1
Yep. September 25th. Yeah, 25th of September. I'm thinking around that 24, 25, 26 one of those days. But yeah, that's the thing Vasco has got himself in. You would say an ideal position. However, it's like you got to maximize that. Now what do you do? Yeah. Do you go not race at all and just train? I mean, it's a long time just to train.
00;10;08;12 - 00;10;27;20
Speaker 1
Yeah. I think he'll race one more somewhere along the lines because you can block like he can block points from other people, you know, go stop Maddie Houser getting a win goes Miguel Hidalgo getting a win. You've got Ricardo Batista absolutely flying right now with two thirds. You know I think he's third in the overall standings. So yeah.
00;10;27;20 - 00;10;57;24
Speaker 1
So it's and Miguel Hidalgo still sitting in second. Like he he's so strong. He's so consistent. Or do you need for four wins last year last year was three. And then the world and then and then the the final, the grand final, because Maddie Houser had a 3000 point lead. Has it changed this year to. Sure. Because I'm looking at the females here in my hair has 3234 points.
00;10;57;26 - 00;11;18;11
Speaker 1
Right? Maybe maybe it is. Maybe it's 4000 because they've added ten. Oh no, I think because they're trying to change or add back in that, the first race that we missed, Abu Dhabi. I think if they can add that in that counts to four, I know it'll be it'll be after the grand final. You can't add that.
00;11;18;14 - 00;11;39;20
Speaker 1
Yeah. Yeah. Because yeah, from what I've heard Abu Dhabi is either going to be just a race by itself, just a race. And you're basically racing for prize money. For the prize money was great. Yeah. Or potentially. And don't quote me on this. I don't think it's been decided yet. I guarantee it's not been decided yet, but it could be part of the 2027 series.
00;11;39;20 - 00;12;00;27
Speaker 1
So it could be the first race for the 2027 series. They've done that before. Can't remember exactly when back in 2000, the 20 tens. Yeah, okay. Abu Dhabi was placed at the end of the year and it was for first, the following season. Interesting. Yes. Well, he's got it all wrapped up so far. Vasco. He has.
00;12;00;27 - 00;12;21;05
Speaker 1
He is just kind of scary. Yeah. Beatable. He got that first win and it's hit that chain reaction, I say unbeatable. He's very well. Dorian Konex is just aging like fine wine, isn't he? Yes. Like the French. The French, all of them. Yeah. They've got ones coming up. They've got athletes coming up. They've got the men, the women.
00;12;21;05 - 00;12;44;21
Speaker 1
They've got the relay team. Like, I mean, as you would have seen in Khyber on, nobody really does triumph on racing like the French. No, that's, that's been a bronze. Been. Yeah. That's been a French Grand Prix race for years for, for a while now. But just just looking at how many people get out to support how many people go like it looked amazing.
00;12;44;21 - 00;13;04;28
Speaker 1
The venue was great. Right on the beach. Really cool. Sort of circuit around like some pretty tight knit roads. It was. It was a cool race to be, to watch and I think like being there before and having seen like how much bigger it was as a World Series. It was really cool. Have you been to Kiran? I raced the world, not a world French Grand Prix there before.
00;13;04;29 - 00;13;23;11
Speaker 1
Okay. Yeah. Cool. Yeah. So it's the town. Always gets around it. Even. Even when it was a French Grand Prix, it was massive. I've never raced in front of a crowd like that before. Or maybe a race in Switzerland that I can think of, but other than that, I've never raced in front of a crowd. Yeah, like at that French Grand Prix.
00;13;23;13 - 00;13;43;28
Speaker 1
Yeah, it was incredible. Yeah. And during conics, when sprint finish, Vasco tripped over. Yeah. I mean I don't think that really dampens Durand, you know, return to the win. I don't think so. He looks I think I'm gonna just throw it out there. Even without the trip, I think Dorian Konex would have would have won. Think he had him.
00;13;43;28 - 00;13;57;28
Speaker 1
He he's just he is known. He is known for that. Dorian Koenig's is the guy that. You know. I'd love to see Hauser. I wish I would love to have seen how to be there and sort of see how that throws into the mix, because houses obviously very much known for his sprint finish. But yeah, I don't know.
00;13;58;00 - 00;14;13;28
Speaker 1
I mean like Vasco Vasco has got the better of houses. Oh you can't really say that house of crashed. But yeah, I don't know. I just love to see with the, the form that goes in Dorian going out and beating him. Yeah. I, I would have loved to have seen how Hauser kind of fits in that way.
00;14;14;00 - 00;14;38;05
Speaker 1
I think keeping on the men's field. It's been interesting how he thought that the, the big 3 or 2 big athletes coming back in would have done, which was Alex and Hayden. Hayden hasn't raced and Alex has had a shocking start to the year two DNF. Yeah. And he's been quiet on social media. We haven't really got an explanation on this one.
00;14;38;06 - 00;15;00;25
Speaker 1
No he had a bit of ankle soreness I believe he was in Algeria. Yep. So I think it was word on the street. It was done in the swim for mill the day before. Got off the bike was a bit stiff. Think he ran a couple K pulled out. But I think in this race did you see I think Alex wasn't that far off within like the first lap.
00;15;00;25 - 00;15;22;21
Speaker 1
He got off and started running the first lap, and I think even the second lap he was still running because I think that there was a shot of him and it might be wrong because, like, it was a massive bird's eye shot. I thought that Alex was just behind, probably in around like 14th position. Right. And then could have been a Taylor.
00;15;22;23 - 00;15;47;25
Speaker 1
Maybe they were the same suit, obviously. But yeah, I'm not too sure what's happened to Alex. Yeah. And has he lost his mojo a bit. We, we've obviously bit our bit our tongues a little bit with, you know, kind of riding off of Vasco. I'll be honest. I wrote him off at the start of the year. I just didn't think that Vasco was going to be able to have that kind of pop into the next stage of being that athlete fighting for the the first place.
00;15;47;27 - 00;16;03;09
Speaker 1
I mean, look, he only just got his first win this season. And now every every time he's raced, he's he's either gotten a win or he's been very, very close. Only one second behind Dorian Koenig's on the weekend. So, UVA's goes in fine form right now. Miguel Hidalgo seems to be just a little bit off the pace.
00;16;03;10 - 00;16;32;15
Speaker 1
Yeah, he was not happy. Well, he didn't have a great swim. Yeah, I think the I think the big the big controversial, controversial topic coming out of this. And obviously we're kind of like bouncing between athletes here. But I think the big thing and it's something that really does need to be fixed and it's ruining the racing is the distance between packs and the motorbike that we had.
00;16;32;15 - 00;16;53;03
Speaker 1
Henry Graf making a lot of comments on, the front pack guys. I think we saw a video. I don't know if it was USA triathlon or someone, someone put it up and it was Seth Rider leading the front pack through the second lap or something, and they were not even ten meters, I would say less than ten meters behind the motorbike.
00;16;53;04 - 00;17;11;25
Speaker 1
Yeah. It's like Seth riders not leading them through transition here, the motorbikes leading them through transition. And when you've got a Kindle, when you've got Seth Rider, when you've got Luke Schofield like just going ham on that bike to pull them away, they're going to. It was only a three second gap. It was four seconds to Henry Graf which I would have thought he could have reached.
00;17;11;26 - 00;17;33;23
Speaker 1
Yeah probably would have. The only thing, the only person that can pull people a front pack away from Henry Graf is a motorbike. Yeah, that's the only thing. Henry Graf versus the motorbike. And it's still a pretty close race there. So, we've just had too many races now from World Cups, Connie Cups, and now we're seeing it in the World Series where the motorbike is, is interfering in the field of play.
00;17;33;24 - 00;17;55;08
Speaker 1
Yeah. Like I feel as if we've seen that more so from like the second part climbing to the front pack. But this time it was reversed at that front pack really benefited. It's almost like when a, when you see a referee in like a in a footy game has accidentally given too many penalties to one side. Yeah they go then the second half it the other way a little bit.
00;17;55;10 - 00;18;12;22
Speaker 1
But yeah it is, it is a factor and I think a lot of athletes are really getting quite fed up with it. Yeah. Back to back to go. He looked quite annoyed. He sort of threw his threw his towel on the ground when he crossed the line, and there was definitely a bit of emotion there from him.
00;18;12;22 - 00;18;32;11
Speaker 1
Not sure if it's just because he might have had a bad swim. Not happy with his day, but I think, yeah, the ordinarily I'm sure he would be quite happy to have that motorbike pulled the front. Exactly, exactly. But just for the first time him and Henry Graf weren't in it. Yeah, yeah, that run in obviously played a massive part.
00;18;32;12 - 00;18;55;05
Speaker 1
And when when I think they're usually historically the Europeans do tend to complain about that. Like why wouldn't we start waist depth? Why wouldn't we go look at what the next two Olympics are going to be? Yeah, you better stop complaining and just get used to it. Do you know if LA is a Aussie exit, beach start and Aussie exit.
00;18;55;07 - 00;19;16;22
Speaker 1
Yeah. Yeah right. And so is Brisbane. So yeah. For you Europeans out there that don't like it I would just probably get training, get practicing, come to Australia jump jump in with a couple of Phil Clayton seconds go to feel. Yeah it feels good to be on the air. Maybe we should start our own thing. Yeah. No. Yeah, we could argue we could.
00;19;16;25 - 00;19;37;17
Speaker 1
We'll get the rest of Europe. We know our stuff about it. We know our stuff. I'll send you some videos. Maybe not as good as feels. Yeah, but that's okay. Yeah. Definitely not. We're going to feel session on a Friday. You know what they're doing. Well, cheaper rates will offer cheaper rates. Yeah. Into the women's race. Oh I got one more.
00;19;37;18 - 00;19;54;18
Speaker 1
I got one more athlete that I want to two more athletes. Sorry. I want to pick. I'll be really quick with this. Okay. Henry Graf. Yep. Third fastest run of the day. He's known as a swim biker, and he had the third fastest run of the day in a field with Cantero, Hidalgo, Konex, Vasco. Ye. All those caliber of athletes.
00;19;54;20 - 00;20;14;22
Speaker 1
I think when Henry Graf gets it right and he has that, that kind of run when he's at the front motoring, pulling the front pack away by 25 seconds. Obviously you can't compare it because he, you know, he wasn't in the pack with Vasco Konex and you don't know if those three and Battista as well. You don't know if those three were kind of just playing cat and mouse a little bit.
00;20;14;22 - 00;20;36;14
Speaker 1
They were just kind of racing each other. They weren't trying to race, you know, they weren't trying to catch up any spots. But I mean, you put Henry Graf in there. It could have been a completely based off just pure runtime. He would have one if he's in that front part, which he usually is. So I think when Henry Graf gets it right and he's young, he's 24, very young, like he's so young.
00;20;36;14 - 00;20;54;09
Speaker 1
He's got so, so much time ahead of him. Yeah, just an all round athlete. So I think he's seriously going to be one to watch and got to give some credit. Yeah, I was just about Aussie boy Luke Schofield on debut. Cracker man. Just like just made sure people knew who he was. Yeah it was good to see wasn't it.
00;20;54;09 - 00;21;13;22
Speaker 1
He had a great swim. Yeah. For something that's usually you would say probably Luke's weakness is the swim and it's clearly not that much of weakness. He swam into the front park, but I think his transitions are on a nothing level like in comparison to even, like, the rest of the best. Yeah. Even when people kind of, he flies through that.
00;21;13;23 - 00;21;27;05
Speaker 1
Yeah. I mean, but it was just such. I don't think any Aussie was surprised. No, it's just such Schofield nature. It is just like a I'm just going to take the bull by the horns and run with it. Yeah I'm going to sprint this first K you're not going to I'm going to throw a Shaka at the camera.
00;21;27;06 - 00;21;48;03
Speaker 1
Yeah I'm having fun with it I mean like really like I would like to see maybe I think he got excited and I don't think he tasted that well and like you know falling back to but still falling back to 19. No debut. Yeah. Debut. Good result. Like it was an incredible incredible race and I think yeah Luke's go for credit to him.
00;21;48;10 - 00;22;05;24
Speaker 1
Took an opportunity grabbed the bull by the horns and he just raced race with guts and with it. Yeah. Race was it's very good to see it. Like I feel as if any Aussie watching that was quite pumped. Yeah. Like I was like oh look. Yeah. What again. Like we didn't we didn't have Luke Willy in there. We didn't have Maddie Houser there.
00;22;05;25 - 00;22;22;11
Speaker 1
We didn't have Braeden Mercer there. And then the three that usually at the front, though none of those three were there. And we still had an Aussie on camera and getting some TV time. It was good, wasn't it? I just think we're starting to like again, we've said it so many times. I think Australia is starting to get it, get the mojo back, starting to get it and we've got some talent coming up.
00;22;22;14 - 00;22;53;24
Speaker 1
So hopefully we've set the standard for a few years now. Okay. Into the women's race. Yep. And again French dominance French dominance Sandra Grant she's yeah she's too good this year I think she's got that five K national record PB. And I don't think you were ever going to beat her I you she's in the past. She looked relaxed running like you saw two demands and she came out with a bit of a deficit out of T2 and ran up into second, also a cracker run.
00;22;53;24 - 00;23;15;08
Speaker 1
She looks like probably the in-form second best runner. Yeah, at the moment I don't. It's like her and Beth's tough win. Beth's not there. Yeah, but I just don't know. Like it is one of those situations where it was almost like the it was almost like the Alexa of of like 2024, 20, 23, 20, like what do you do when Cassandra broke grants in that front pack?
00;23;15;09 - 00;23;34;11
Speaker 1
Yeah. And she's a phenomenal swimmer. Yeah. Oh, she let out of the water. Like, how how do you beat someone who is like. Like by far the best runner? Well, no, let's not say by far consistently the best runner, but is a swim but is swimming front pack and you're not realistically going to drop them on the bike.
00;23;34;12 - 00;23;55;20
Speaker 1
Maybe unless you go to Georgia Taylor Brown, Sophie Evans just drilling that thing, I think. And it was actually funny you mentioned this. Georgia Taylor Brown in a post-race interview said she wanted to try something different, and she held back on the bike and just sat in. Yeah. Are some of these girls that have a really good dominant run bike?
00;23;55;27 - 00;24;18;21
Speaker 1
Are they now just going getting scared? Well, even if we do try and break away, even if we do hammer the bike, well, our runs aren't like as good as Cassandra's. So we need to conserve, be conservative and try and run as quick as we can. But they just still, still can't do it. I just don't think that's the way to go about it personally.
00;24;18;23 - 00;24;34;14
Speaker 1
I mean, I'm not I'm obviously not in a George Brown. Is that like the new mindset for some of these girls? Well, because then you're just letting a two to mountain into the race like you need to. You need to hurt her. And that all came together like, I don't think Tilda Manson was in the front pack. No.
00;24;34;16 - 00;25;02;11
Speaker 1
At the start, I thought it was going to split up more than what it did. I thought it was as well. But as you said, like with a change in mindset of someone like Georgia Taylor Brown, who actually still went quite well, I think she was. Yeah. Seventh here. Yeah. Super consistent. Yeah. If that mindset shifts in that women's field where it's not we're going to drill this bike is just letting those other very fast runners back into the race.
00;25;02;12 - 00;25;26;19
Speaker 1
And yeah, it's a blessing and a curse. Like you've either got Cassandra by Grant in your pack, which she's always going to be there. And yes, you can hurt her, try and hurt her, which I don't think is happening. Or you just stay away and maybe hurt yourself a bit more, but then, you know you're going to have to get I think it's almost like you're sacrificing potentially that first spot for that second spot.
00;25;26;20 - 00;25;47;04
Speaker 1
Yeah. You're like, yes, it is going to be so hard to drop a Cassandra Grant which is leading out of the water. She's clearly strong enough on the bike to be able to be there. But you that might, you know, Tilda mountain keep her in the second part. Keep her 20 plus seconds down. You know, I don't know where Valentina the Russian came out.
00;25;47;04 - 00;26;02;08
Speaker 1
I think she was actually pretty far. She was outside the top ten, I believe, but, you know, potentially. Keep her out. Keep Leoni Perry. I'll make sure the only period because she came into the water on the hair. Keep her out of it. Yeah, I think, yeah. I mean, it was 30th out of the water. It's still finished in the top ten.
00;26;02;09 - 00;26;21;17
Speaker 1
Yeah. So, you know, you want those athletes like a period can run like she is. We've seen how well she can run keeper as far out of there as possible. Yeah. But yeah I don't know. It's tough. It's obviously I'm not in the position to help them make the call and they're obviously they're racing the World Series, so they're probably better than what we are.
00;26;21;17 - 00;26;44;07
Speaker 1
But that's just the $0.02 of. See also. Yeah, yeah. It's so tricky. Yeah. It's so tricky. Race tactics is so when it is so individual and people have their own individual strengths and weaknesses and like, you know, there's pros and cons of working in particular situations. But I guess cool to try something new though for, Georgia Taylor Brown.
00;26;44;09 - 00;27;08;00
Speaker 1
Yeah. And I mean, we talk about front like, oh, like you said, two dimension had a bit of a deficit. She had the fastest run of 1549. Yeah. That's quick. How rapid is that the women to be running like the top two. Running sub 16. Yeah. Used to always be like 16 mid like top like top. You know 1620 to like 1610 1605.
00;27;08;06 - 00;27;27;05
Speaker 1
There wasn't many sub 16 minutes from the women. No there was only two. It was only a bit like in previous years. Oh yeah. You maybe had like a Gwen Jorgensen you know, maybe in the day. But then I think at the moment the standard is just so high school of medicine to run 1549 for Sandra Bro. Grant to go 1551.
00;27;27;06 - 00;27;50;19
Speaker 1
Like when you got the boys as well, running like low 14 minutes every time. I think 1412 was the fastest 1417 from Hidalgo. But like it's scary. Yeah, it's it's just getting quicker and quicker. I love asking this question. Are you beating Tilda Manson in that run off? Yeah. Off history. No, man, I think I think yelled out swimmer an outrider.
00;27;50;21 - 00;28;18;16
Speaker 1
But I think that rider. I would hope so. I think I was like 1549 is actually it's very quick, ridiculous, very quick man. It's it's, it's it's winning a lot of Conti's I reckon I get 1549. Oh in the men's. Yeah. Oh yeah. Oh it's winning a lot. Yeah for sure. They the women. It's so it's so scary just seeing how is much.
00;28;18;19 - 00;28;41;07
Speaker 1
The following is the ceiling is rising and then the French again mixed relay. Yeah. They took they took the men's race. They took the women's race. They took the mixed team relay. God. It's on French soil. Yeah, on French soil. God. And they didn't even have Cassandra in that mixed team relay. How impressive is that? It was so screwed.
00;28;41;10 - 00;29;08;20
Speaker 1
I was so screwed. Berger wasn't there. But then Yanis wins also. Great. Yeah. So they have such depth. Oh, so that was kind of like the first little taste of what we're going to see in Hamburg. Hamburg's the main one. Yes. So it realistically it doesn't matter. Like most, most of these Nash, nations who came in the top eight, they're going to get their top eight, spots anyway.
00;29;08;20 - 00;29;29;03
Speaker 1
Like I really looking at it team wasn't. Yeah, that definitely looks like the top eight. That will be the first eight to be picked for four for the Olympic point. So I don't think it really mattered too much. Like these first few races. You kind of got the people on the bubble like I mean Team Germany, they're they're the Olympic champions.
00;29;29;03 - 00;29;48;13
Speaker 1
So for them to have come eighth, I think you put their best team in there. They're definitely they're definitely fighting for a podium. Think next year they'll be more emphasis on the mixed team relay for the nations because it does really matter where this year it's we need the we need the first team to win the World Championships.
00;29;48;14 - 00;30;09;14
Speaker 1
You'll see it in Hamburg. That's the main goal. You'll see it in Hamburg. Like I would take these results with a pinch of salt. Yeah, Germany. Like I said, Germany's the current Olympic champions. Great Britain and Great Britain in US, they were also. I mean, you literally had six seventh and eighth. That's the Olympic podium. Yeah. From Paris.
00;30;09;20 - 00;30;29;13
Speaker 1
So that doesn't really make sense right now. But I mean in saying that Team Australia, Team Australia one second off the podium, one second off the podium was so close. And no Luke Wilson, no matter how I mean the boys still did. Well it's still very quality athletes. Luke. So Field and Cal Luke Schofield is a super sprint specialist.
00;30;29;20 - 00;30;48;16
Speaker 1
He's a relay specialist. He was like he's he's been due for a sniff at something like this. Yeah. And yeah like Cal was a phenomenal runner. So to have him anchoring. Yeah. You get him in the race, he's going to be fighting for a podium for us. And the girls did very well as well like Aspen Anderson first of the first can yeah we wouldn't be honest.
00;30;48;18 - 00;31;15;09
Speaker 1
Wouldn't have picked it. But those long those long legs just basically walking out to the first hand. That's that's that's our open water swimming. He works. That's it. It is come to Lucky Leighton's open water. Ellen. Ellen coach. Yeah. We can't I mean that we can't increase leg size. Like that's unfortunately something God given. But no, honestly, the Aussie team killed it and we're a little bit biased being Australians ourselves.
00;31;15;09 - 00;31;36;26
Speaker 1
But it was really cool to see, probably three people in that cows, you know, had a bit of experience racing at the World Series level. But three people who all made their debut that weekend. So I think You're Richards made a debut before, but Luke and Aspen made their debut. You're right, you're right. But yeah, but like that's only her second World Series race.
00;31;36;26 - 00;32;12;12
Speaker 1
So it's a very fresh team. And that's good to see. Flight future racing, especially when let's say a few of like the top guys can't race or aren't there. It's good to know that you have such quality athletes coming in like who are underneath because we've had we've had troubles in the past where I remember watching, I think it was in Sunderland, the UK World Series there, and I remember I was in Bangalore, I was in Gerona with, with Hauser, Brad course, and it was a couple other boys and we were watching the relay and obviously like Hauser wasn't there, William wasn't there.
00;32;12;12 - 00;32;28;15
Speaker 1
I think Birtwistle was there. But we put a heap of like under 23, sort of like developing athletes in. And we did, we got smoked like like we were really far back, probably like up to 10th. So it's really cool to see that under 23 seconds and like some when we haven't got our top, top guys there, we're still performing.
00;32;28;15 - 00;32;45;25
Speaker 1
Yeah. Like we've got the caliber of athletes now. So and a lot of athletes, a lot of countries sorry will be experimenting with different teams. Yeah. You know we've seen that with Great Britain. Had quite a young team. Yeah. Yeah. You had you had staple and you had staple and you know Gary Michael guy in for the men.
00;32;45;26 - 00;33;03;17
Speaker 1
You know, there's no Alex, there's no kind of Bentley. There's no Sam Dickinson who was in the Paris team. I mean, Sophie Evans is is a bit of a staple in that team. She's she's history, has some history with that team. But then Beth Cook, she's also super young. Yeah. So good to good to see countries given the young ones a crack.
00;33;03;17 - 00;33;21;14
Speaker 1
And I mean we're going to see that change a lot. Yeah. It'll be a big one for Hamburg. That'll be that's where all of the nations will be really fighting for those first two spots. And I think that just eases the pressure. Yeah, but what we have to talk about is. So sorry, Team Estrella. You did really well.
00;33;21;14 - 00;33;39;03
Speaker 1
You did really, really well in the race, but it was a questionable laid up. I didn't really laugh with that walk out. Yeah. I'm sorry, I love I'm, I'm all for a walk out. Okay. That was a bit questionable. I think I know who was behind that one. Oh, that's definitely that smells like. Oh, I was gonna say Aspen.
00;33;39;07 - 00;33;59;12
Speaker 1
I think I know you know what? I think that was definitely an Aspen decision. And a Lukes go field. Big, big. On the backing of that. He definitely went oh yeah yeah. Oh yeah. And just saw kamikaze was given the trembling boot. He was the outnumbered there wasn't he. Not a lot of enthusiasm in in cows two steps.
00;33;59;12 - 00;34;22;15
Speaker 1
So Cal we need a bit more enthusiasm if you're going to go with this, these dance moves. No, I think we should just not do it. But I think we need to, as a nation. And I feel as if we're. We speak for the athletes of the nation. We need a set dance move. I don't I'm not big on the dance moves a bit, but if you're going to do them, they obviously like them.
00;34;22;15 - 00;34;40;12
Speaker 1
They've done dance moves before. I don't mind just the. Yeah, throw your hands up in the air. I love I love the walk out. I love a lot of carry on when you're winning a race. So I love a celebration coming down the line. I love like like give it some. You've won a race, give it some I want to see some crazy celebrations.
00;34;40;15 - 00;34;59;19
Speaker 1
The walk out ones I struggle, no, but I'll feel as if that's just now, the new things. Because I think we need a proper dance with. And my proposal is. Here we go. I think we have to base it off our one and only best answer ever at the Olympics. It's the ray gun you got to do the ray gun, guys.
00;34;59;26 - 00;35;18;08
Speaker 1
That's the only thing you can do, right? We're canceling this podcast if you ever say something like that again. I want to say mixed team relay Hamburg, the ray gun at the walkout. No one's listening to this. Yep, they are no one. Yeah. I don't think this this is not an unfunded. We're not saying about this beforehand. We could put up a pole.
00;35;18;11 - 00;35;36;27
Speaker 1
What do we what do we want? To see our national team do us the dance move as they walk out. We'll set it up and they have to do it. I bet they won't do it. I don't think they care about the we love the Aussie mixed team relay. I don't think they like us as much.
00;35;36;29 - 00;35;55;19
Speaker 1
I think two ends, we just super fans or something. I think we're just super fancy. I don't think they're going to go, oh, they're unfunded. Said, we have to do this. Okay, mate, it would be good for the culture. Come on. I can already hear kamikaze telling us to fuck off.
00;35;55;22 - 00;36;14;24
Speaker 1
But yeah, so my $0.02 didn't really like it. But respect, I think the ray gun would be better. We're moving on from this. We're moving on. The only thing that kind of made it, like, super uncomfortable was when they were still doing the dance and they were trying to announce the French team. I was like, guys, wrap it up, wrap it up.
00;36;14;26 - 00;36;35;25
Speaker 1
They had to come out and they're still doing like some twirls and shit. It was it was tough to watch. It was a tough one to watch. I'm glad they did well because that was you can't do that and come out. You can't you can't do Michael Jackson and come out. Was it Michael Jackson? What's it? Oh, I don't even know what it was.
00;36;35;27 - 00;36;53;15
Speaker 1
To be honest, you uncultured prick. Are you kidding? No. No clue. That's like he's historic dancing. Oh, they didn't just make that up. I thought they made it up. Yeah, that'd be more impressive if they just made that. Yeah, I was like, well, they've really just grinded TikTok for the last 24 hours. Have you not watched the Michael Jackson documentary?
00;36;53;16 - 00;37;10;25
Speaker 1
New movie? No. I watch the doc on Netflix where he was. Yeah. Okay. That's that's that's it. It's not that one. That's a hairy one. This one was a bit nicer. Okay. Yeah. Okay. That's crazy that you didn't know it was Michael Jackson anyway. Well, I reckon we do the ray gun. No. Okay. Get lost or nothing, Ray gun?
00;37;10;25 - 00;37;20;18
Speaker 1
No, nothing. Put your hands up. Hey!
00;37;20;21 - 00;37;42;15
Speaker 1
Sorry. I gotta stop doing that. I literally never been to then I did, but, yeah, we can't get kids canceled. Alrighty. Moving on to the next race. We've got a preview. We're going to make this preview this time. World Cup to Xavier's. Probably my favorite World Cup on the calendar. I love this kind of racing. I do really like tizzy not race well there before.
00;37;42;18 - 00;38;03;01
Speaker 1
That's okay. But it's a good race. It's good fun for gone to the locations where we don't write as well. Yeah. Keep going back. Keep going. Keep trying. It's a bit like Cornick, I think. I think I love this one purely because of the, the history one. The history after party was pretty fun last year and afterwards actually pretty fun every year.
00;38;03;01 - 00;38;22;22
Speaker 1
But it's got some cracking stories, doesn't it, though? Tizzy after party, I think. I think that's the day I think maybe died off now. Oh oh well, maybe not lucky if you got any dizzy. No, none that I can share. It's not. It's from other people. So. Okay. You know, I'm a spectator. Yeah, I'm a spectator in the case.
00;38;22;23 - 00;38;40;20
Speaker 1
That's good. But, yeah, no tizzy. The the layout of the race weekend, you know, you got it. You got to send me. You got a semifinal final, you got juniors, you got the elites. There's usually about. Oh, I'd say I don't know what the startlist looks like now. It actually looks a bit smaller than usual, but usually there's about 90 people.
00;38;40;23 - 00;39;00;05
Speaker 1
There's 66. All right. So they're probably going to have smaller I would say usually maxed out. Oh 65 because we don't use number 13 in World Triathlon. Which it always throws me. Yeah. That is weird. No. To be fair, they I'd say they would be doing three heats of 25 then. Does that make sense? No, that doesn't make sense.
00;39;00;06 - 00;39;27;27
Speaker 1
No. Probably two heats of 30. Usually they do three heats. So I would I mean it'd be better if it was two. Oh sorry. It'd be better if it was three. But in the past it's been three heats and then I'm not even. They've got three heats so it won't be even. But that's okay now that's fine. So I have three heats and then they'll have a top, you know, let's say top 4 or 5 directly to the finals the next day and then the next two fastest times.
00;39;27;29 - 00;39;52;21
Speaker 1
So that's always exciting. It's terrifying when you've crossed the line and you're kind of, you know, in that, did I make it? Did I not? Antonio. Okay, we've met him once. And you think I think we're best mates with the president. But, yeah. No, it's always an exciting one. The big story coming out of this song.
00;39;52;24 - 00;40;10;10
Speaker 1
Lehmann. Lehmann. He's going for his number six win in a row. In a row at tizzy. So he has three wins when it was a World Cup. So the last three years he has been a World Cup one all three. And then he won two years prior to that where it was a Conti Cup. That's crazy. He is the king of Tizzy.
00;40;10;11 - 00;40;31;02
Speaker 1
He's won since 2019. There wasn't a race in 2020. Yeah 2019. He's been undefeated at tizzy. That's that's got to be some kind of stat. Like going back to the same race and being undefeated for five years already. He's from city. Yeah. Yeah. Well yeah. But like it's still going back to the same race in your calendar every year.
00;40;31;02 - 00;40;52;10
Speaker 1
It's almost like he he gets some sort of super powers as soon as he steps foot into Tizzy Land. Yeah. And I think the big thing is well, in the, in the course is that swim, isn't it? It's terrifying. It's the three laps of three cans. If anybody's if anybody's done that before, you know how scary. Is that where you skipped the can last year?
00;40;52;11 - 00;41;14;01
Speaker 1
Come off it. Yes. Yeah. It was. Yes. I got a bit of bad history. I've either got like a last place in the final year before and yeah, I didn't purposely skip the can. We went through this last year. I didn't mean to skip the can if anybody know I think I think there's about six turns a lap, six cans a lap, and you've got to do three laps up to one, two, three at the end.
00;41;14;01 - 00;41;31;00
Speaker 1
But then you come back and then you go to go to two down the bottom. Oh wow. Yeah. So there's three at the top end. You come back, you check a left hander and then a left hander and you start that lap again. Oh so 34555 cancel out. That's intense. It's a lot. So I remember. Yeah. Last year I got to that I think it was maybe the second or third lap.
00;41;31;00 - 00;41;49;27
Speaker 1
And we were just off the front. I realized that there was a bit of a gap to the four that were off the front. I thought, I've got to get there, maybe turned a little bit too early, miss one of the last cans. And I still I still didn't make it onto it, but yeah, got disqualified, which you didn't know, but, very important.
00;41;49;27 - 00;42;09;13
Speaker 1
I think we're actually got a few people from last year's race in both the men and women. So no two athletes. Sugar layman can't go past him. No. Mark Devey. The Hungarians love it, obviously. The thin Grail. Yeah. Great runner.
00;42;09;15 - 00;42;15;15
Speaker 3
Who else is there? Taylor Reed I feel as if he'll be, like, good at this kind of stuff.
00;42;15;15 - 00;42;16;13
Speaker 1
He's a great swimmer.
00;42;16;14 - 00;42;21;27
Speaker 3
So making Luke Schofield, there's a couple of Oceania,
00;42;21;29 - 00;42;22;22
Speaker 1
Who did.
00;42;22;27 - 00;42;27;17
Speaker 3
Have Chase McQueen also on the startlist.
00;42;27;20 - 00;42;47;07
Speaker 1
Another one is the, other Hungarian Gregory Kiss. Oh, I'm gonna I'm gonna probably got that first name wrong, but he was in the breakaway last year. I think he was just off the podium. Or he might have been third. Actually, I could be wrong. I think he might have been in the top three. Yeah. He's a great swim biker himself.
00;42;47;07 - 00;43;14;03
Speaker 1
And from previous histories there's eight. Last year there was a five man breakaway crop. Go was in the breakaway as well. Unfortunately it might have been crop go actually got third. Crop goes in the breakaway. You had eagle deploys. You had kiss, you had Lehmann and Mark duvet. So like they are all very incredible swimmers. Just Simon ran a Simon road sorry away at that point.
00;43;14;05 - 00;43;20;12
Speaker 1
There's no stopping song. No, I don't think anybody's I don't see anybody in this field that's stopping Sangha. No this weekend.
00;43;20;14 - 00;43;22;14
Speaker 3
So let's go. Your mail picks.
00;43;22;21 - 00;43;44;14
Speaker 1
I've picked, like I just said, song of Lehmann for the win. I feel like that's a bit of a no brainer. I've got. I've gone the Hungarian to the other one. Gregory kiss. Gregory. Gregory kiss. Yep. And then I got the Frenchie Tom Luno he has had. He's a very, very good sumo. So I'm kind of banking on a bit of a swim bike breakaway here.
00;43;44;17 - 00;43;59;06
Speaker 1
Gun. Sumo. He'll come out in the top three, potentially top five. He'll ride with him and then his runs come leaps and bounds. So, and the French are just dominant at the moment, so. Okay. That's mine. Song and layman Gregory Kiss and Tom Leno. So I.
00;43;59;06 - 00;44;06;08
Speaker 3
Have you can't go past him six in a row. I want to see it Nathan Grail. He's a Frenchie.
00;44;06;10 - 00;44;06;18
Speaker 1
Yep.
00;44;06;19 - 00;44;14;12
Speaker 3
Run. And then I've gone Luke Schofield only out the podium. Yep. I think Luke's going to have a good one. Yeah I think running off momentum from last weekend.
00;44;14;13 - 00;44;16;17
Speaker 1
I feel like you take a lot of confidence off a race like that.
00;44;16;17 - 00;44;40;00
Speaker 3
And I feel as if this is like a bit of a, like a minor detail course, you know, like where transitions are very key, like getting around those boys quick. Yeah. I think he's in like we've said it before, the Schofields are they know how to do those little things, right? Yeah. Capitalize on those little moments. I think that's what happens in tizzy.
00;44;40;02 - 00;44;45;00
Speaker 3
Those little moments get just extrapolated into big breaks that.
00;44;45;03 - 00;45;03;10
Speaker 1
I think. And it's it's weird because it's obviously not a super sprint distance race, but it almost feels like you're doing two SuperSprint. It's it's weird that it feels like a super sprint despite the format of it. It is just so like three laps in the swim, eight laps on the bike and like they just around that little lake and then even the run course is three laps.
00;45;03;10 - 00;45;20;07
Speaker 1
So it's so, so tight and technical that yeah, it does just feel like a super sprint distance kind of race. And I feel as if maybe it feels like that as well, because you're not racing for the win on day one. Heats and finals help that. So you only really ever have heat and final. Just have to make into let's say the top five.
00;45;20;08 - 00;45;39;29
Speaker 1
Yeah. So it makes sense that the dynamics a bit more like SuperSprint real hard swim bike for the first race and try and cruise the run to conserve. And then the next day is just all out. Okay. On the women. I've actually got some really good athletes. Yeah we do backing up for tizzy. We've got a bit of a different list here.
00;45;40;02 - 00;46;06;29
Speaker 1
Oh for, for your so let's go for some ones to watch maybe. Yeah. Diana is a cover. Yep. The Russian. Russian ane two d Manson. Barbara de Koning. Yeah, she's very good. Always up there is an Tara Roderick Brown in mount. I think it's making her World Cup debut. And you've also just gone past my Fanny Salai.
00;46;07;02 - 00;46;30;08
Speaker 1
Slow Hungarian. I haven't seen her Hungarian. Oh, up there, number 11. I think all of Watson's also making her World Cup debut. Oh, yeah. And Chris Deggans also race in the men's. I don't think there's much else. Is that Taylor? Yes. Taylor. Nibs on the start. We've completely missed that. Wow. That's a big be completely missed. That that is massive.
00;46;30;09 - 00;46;52;24
Speaker 1
I still don't think she'll be in the top three. Wow. Really? No. Okay, well I'm not going to change mine. But that's throwing a spanner in my worst maybe fourth. That's that. Looks like a fourth place right there. Give us your picks. Massive. So I've gone. I've. I know you would think Tilda Manson, but I'm to. I'm going to back the Hungarian Hungarians.
00;46;52;24 - 00;47;09;02
Speaker 1
Going to take the men and the women. I'm going to go Fanny Salai. She's going to take the win. Great swimmer, great bike rider. And she'll hang on. Okay, then I've got two demands in a second. Okay? She's going to be about ten. She'll be about 15 seconds. 20s off the pack. Brilliant runner. She'll run out. Wait a second.
00;47;09;04 - 00;47;26;12
Speaker 1
You think she's going to be 10s off the pack? Off the front pack? Yeah. I feel there's going to be a breakaway. Okay. Yeah, Fanny's going to be hitting that swim bike really hard. She knows that she has to get ahead of Tilda. There'll be some other tasks and probably help her out there. Bri. Roderick. So that's my pick.
00;47;26;15 - 00;47;47;21
Speaker 1
Two of the minutes in second, and then I got Diana. It's a cover. The Russian in third, because she just always seems to be on the podium. Okay, well good pics. Thank you. I've gone to the Manson. You can't go past her. Boring. She's in flying form. In that run, I've gone Allari Zane. I feel as if she's been a little bit quiet this year.
00;47;47;22 - 00;48;03;24
Speaker 1
You pick her a lot. Actually, I do like. Like you pick a reason. I know, I don't know why. Really? Yeah. You've just got a solid. She's she's always ranked like number six. And I think that she's just going to have absolutely blind up. Yeah I think well she, she had a blinder at I think it was the you picked her World Cup.
00;48;03;25 - 00;48;22;02
Speaker 1
Yeah. You picked her a couple times and she's. See I would never pick her in a World Series. But I feel as if she's a good World Cup athlete. She knows how to win World Cups or even World Cups. And then I've gone. Diana is a cover. Another, safe bet on the World Cup circuit. Yeah, that is a safe.
00;48;22;04 - 00;48;44;21
Speaker 1
That is a safe one. Always. Top ten World Series, just enough to not get tested. And then, you shut up saying that. Yeah. No, I think it's actually, now that I think about it, we're actually pretty similar. Yeah. Okay, cool. That's it. That's tizzy. Oh, God, I can't wait to here. Stories of tizzy I love tizzy.
00;48;44;23 - 00;49;06;11
Speaker 1
If we hear anything, we'll pull back. Yeah, but, just send us your stories. Yeah, the night out or whatever else happens. Oh, no. The racing. Okay. The racing. Yep. Cool, cool. I knew what you meant, though. Yeah. Alrighty, guys. That that wraps up our recap of Key brawn. That wraps up the preview of Z. And that wraps up episode 51 of the unfunded podcast.
00;49;06;11 - 00;49;24;21
Speaker 1

I mean, we kind of like the carbs, don't we? We do, we do. But that's okay. We'll we'll minimize the carbs on that. Yeah, we'll eat more later on.
00;49;24;21 - 00;49;40;07
