But I feel like I so I had been I had been watching because one of the guys from the Nolan up podcast tc has been on this guy Ludwig for like for years and it's just it's become a thing and it was his guy and then like he you know he made he won that dp world tour event he got on the ryder cup team. He's just been unbelievable. So I've had his name in my ear for a little bit. Um, this is the first time I've well rider cup I watch it but he's absolute freak final round 61 tied the 72 hole scoring record on the tour matching a 253 of jt at the Twenty Seventeen Sony open. What's crazy when people when when these guys black out and shoot 61 like that I mean it just makes me think about how hard golf is right like I could go in the same course and go and and and be lucky to shoot in the 90 s this guy shoots a final round 61 he made one bogey all week. And he turned pro five months ago and he's already won on the dp world tour the pj tour and obviously most people will have remembered the absolute throttling of of ah scottie and brooks at the rider cup 9 and 7.

Yeah I mean and it's it's a good It's a good thing and a good time to for him to get the ah the word out on how to pronounce his name because I think this is a guy you're going to hear about for a very very long time I think he's is already one of the the most hyped prospects to really come on tour in ah in a really long time. But. Not many guys like that deliver like you said 2 wins in the six months six months ago he's he's in college right? 2 Wins Rider cup win setting these scoring things I think he was last year offered something like two and a half million to go to live and this. You know in six months on tour he's he's earn like over 3000000 so he he made the right choice there and people don't need to you know, watch the Cw to see him so he he came out golden on that. But um, yeah I think he's just gonna be a monster right? He I think him making that rider cup told you all you need to know. That they not just thought he was good enough to play but they wanted to get him some reps because they see him as the guy for for you know a decade or 2 on that team so exciting times for him. He's he's a he's a hell of a player fun to watch for me.

He absolutely mashes the ball if anybody doesn't know that he's like a one eighty five one ninety ball speed guy which is just insane and if you go if you haven't seen him swing go to Youtube and just put it in there because his swing is so it's so smooth it looks so effortless and how far and how fast he swings the club. It's just what golf does they kind of. Um, reload right? and they add more competition but they're in a really good place like that you can already start to see this next generation forming with him Sam Bennett the Gordon sargegent that kid from Vandy hits the ball six hundred yards michael Thorn Bjornson and Tom Kim's like 2021.

They're able to generate so much speed and and so so consistent and there's a lot of like they've they've under. Nerdy and into the swing he is but like that stuff is all true like they've they've found the science of this and they've they've been able to. You know you? you think like you think Harry Vardon or or Bobby Jones or whoever was like you know they they kind of understood the biomechanics of the body a little bit but now.

He's trying to get to this spring swing speed I know that that's a big thing on tour for forever. But um, that was the first time I felt like it really made it more into the mainstream those kind of conversations. Um, and. I mean and then he kind of disappeared off the face of the earth just a product of living on the Cw again. But it's interesting like like so many people are chasing that speed I think even.
