00:00:00 Dustin: Hey, D23 is right around the corner. Yay! Yes! And we have some predictions about the announcements here on this episode of Park Goers. Go! Let's go! Hello, everybody, and welcome to Park Goers Go, your go to podcast for all things theme parks. I'm one of your host Dustin.

00:00:34 Nate: I'm Logan and I'm Nate.

00:00:36 Dustin: And today we have a fun episode where we're gonna be talking about D23 predictions.

00:00:42 Logan: In one word. Bam, bam, bam, bam bam. I need to learn a different.

00:00:47 Dustin: Language.

00:00:48 Logan: Noise.

00:00:48 Nate: Oh, besides, like an air horn.

00:00:51 Logan: Then that bam, bam, bam bam bam.

00:00:52 Nate: Is that like a Disney equivalent? Yeah.

00:00:58 Logan: That's not Disney, but that's the only one I can think of.

00:01:01 Dustin: Yuck.

00:01:01 Logan: Yeah, that's what I was gonna try. Goofy. But I was like, oh.

00:01:04 Nate: Yeah, that's a good one.

00:01:05 Logan: I can't attempt that right now.

00:01:07 Dustin: So today's episode, we're going to be focused on three things. What we're expected to hear, some rumors that we're hearing, and then also some blue sky ideas that we want to blue sky.

00:01:18 Logan: Blue sky blue sky ideas.

00:01:22 Dustin: That's a, that's a little foreshadowing for what I think about avatar Land.

00:01:26 Logan: That's what you.

00:01:27 Dustin: Said because that's how they talk.

00:01:29 Logan: You said.

00:01:29 Dustin: That's.

00:01:29 Logan: How they talk.

00:01:30 Dustin: Famously blue sky. So let's start with things that are expected. Um, I'll open the floor to you guys. What do you expect to hear?

00:01:38 Logan: I expect to hear announcements.

00:01:43 Dustin: Mhm.

00:01:43 Nate: Yeah.

00:01:44 Dustin: Very good. All right. What about.

00:01:45 Logan: You?

00:01:46 Nate: Great. Okay. Um, I have. Okay. I definitely updates on stuff that they talked about last time. So.

00:01:56 Logan: Okay. That's the exact same as what I said.

00:02:00 Nate: No, no. But specifically, I'm expecting to heal. Actually, this is a little tricky because we have a lot of information on calls and that's coming. Yeah, we have a lot of information on that. So like, do.

00:02:15 Logan: I think we'll get an I think we'll get an update on those.

00:02:18 Nate: Well, I was gonna say do you think we will. Because what is the update.

00:02:22 Logan: No, I think we'll get an like a progress update and maybe some more specifics because they probably nailed down some more ideas about monsters Inc. cars. Um um, Latin. What is it? Tropical America. Tropical America.

00:02:37 Dustin: Tropical Americas.

00:02:38 Logan: Tropical.

00:02:39 Nate: Yeah. But I wonder what.

00:02:40 Dustin: Pueblo. Esperanza.

00:02:42 Nate: Oh yes. Good job Dustin.

00:02:44 Dustin: Thank you. So let's, uh, let's, let's take all of our thoughts and make it a little bit more structured. So the, uh, yes, more details of everything that was announced just.

00:02:52 Logan: Called you a mess.

00:02:52 Dustin: Last D23. Yeah, you guys were kind of a little mess.

00:02:55 Nate: You guys weren't really saying much.

00:02:57 Dustin: So like, let's look at Avengers campus, right? Avengers campus. We got pretty good details last time where we know the rides that are coming, but now we're going to get more details of what will consist of the ride, specifically their big.

00:03:09 Logan: Um, that sounds exactly what we were just saying.

00:03:11 Nate: No, I was going to talk.

00:03:12 Logan: I'm going.

00:03:13 Nate: I was gonna say, I think more predictable predictions would be definitely heavy details on Avengers Campus because I feel like we have concepts. We don't have hard ideas.

00:03:24 Dustin: Well, no, I, we also do have hard ideas, but I think out of all of them, the Avengers campus is the most fleshed out besides tropical Americas, because we know exactly what's going to go there, what kind of rides. Um, whereas if you look at like, I mean, Monstropolis also to a certain degree, except for there's that one mystery show that nobody knows about. So I think we're gonna hear more about that. Do we know more details about the roller coaster?

00:03:47 Logan: Latin America's is like a land, right?

00:03:50 Nate: Tropical America.

00:03:51 Logan: Tropical Americas, whatever.

00:03:53 Nate: See.

00:03:55 Logan: Because I'm thinking about like, it would be cool to learn more about the, like the setup.

00:03:59 Nate: Like we know all that though. Like we know that.

00:04:02 Logan: There's like different like stores and stuff that will be in the area.

00:04:07 Nate: We know. Yeah. That's what I'm saying. Like we kind of know, get more information.

00:04:12 Dustin: But we know the rides.

00:04:13 Nate: The only one we don't know a lot about like detail, detail I think would be monstropolis.

00:04:18 Logan: No, I thought we did know a lot about it. I thought they came out and said more stuff.

00:04:22 Dustin: I feel like in order of what we know the most of, I would probably say Avengers Campus, we know the most of then tropical Americas, then Monstropolis, then villains, land villains, land being. Oh, and uh, Piston Peak. I forgot about Piston Peak. About.

00:04:35 Nate: That land is on my list.

00:04:37 Dustin: But when it comes to, uh, tropical Americas, I think we're gonna learn more about the mythology of the Indiana Jones ride, maybe get a little bit more of like a ride through kind of information. Um, monstropolis like I said, the show probably the restaurant. The restaurant as well. Harryhausen's. Um, and then when it comes to Piston Peak, we'll probably get to know a little bit about the little ride. And I guess the ride vehicles is what I expect to know. And then villains, literally just anything, you know, just more than just the concept.

00:05:11 Logan: I need a reference to it to know that they didn't scrap it. Right.

00:05:15 Dustin: Well, speaking about scrapping things, um, Pandora. So Pandora over in Disneyland, um, it's kind of like, well, the idea is kind of in limbo right now because they halted a lot of stuff. So like the demolition and whatnot. So it's pretty much like what people are expecting and I agree with is they're either going to bring it up and they're going to talk about the new plan, or they won't bring it up at all. And then it's just like, let it float away into the ether of everybody's memory.

00:05:43 Nate: So but then they already closed down the ride, haven't they been?

00:05:47 Dustin: The ride's still open. The Monsters Inc. ride's still open. It had a closing announcement date, but then they extended it. So fine. But yeah, so that's what everybody's expecting. So more or less just building off of what was already announced, which is fine. Another thing with that is, uh, I expect there to be more chat about internal land, um, fulfillment, I guess with the lands that already exist, uh, one of which is Star Wars land. I think we're gonna see more characters. Uh, this is based off of some of the, uh, Imagineering videos. You know, how they, like, cut in a bunch of clips and whatnot. And, uh, so there was the one of the guy he was in. Um, did you guys see, uh, Mandalorian versus Grogu?

00:06:31 Nate: No.

00:06:32 Logan: I heard of it.

00:06:33 Nate: Oh, we haven't even wrote the we haven't gone. We need to write the overlay. Ned, I forgot Ted.

00:06:40 Dustin: Bed red. Oh, Zeb. Zeb. All right, so, Zeb, he shows up in, uh, Zebediah, uh, the Mandalorian, and he there's like an animatronic version of him that was shown in this Imagineering video. So, you know, seeing that maybe there's going to be a character walkabout in Star Wars land, and also they just need to beef up that land. So wishful thinking maybe. But also we saw that and, you know, in the past we saw they saw something with, uh, radiator springs in the background. And then people are like, there's gonna be a new cars ride at Disneyland or Disney World. And everybody's like, nope. And then, you know.

00:07:17 Logan: And they were right.

00:07:19 Dustin: They were right.

00:07:20 Nate: The dream was held out.

00:07:21 Dustin: I also expect that Disneyland's gonna get some goodies because they didn't really get too much last year.

00:07:26 Nate: So I finally get the little free roaming robots.

00:07:33 Dustin: What do you mean?

00:07:34 Nate: Well, are they like, even you feel.

00:07:36 Logan: Like they're gonna get much.

00:07:37 Dustin: You don't think so?

00:07:38 Nate: They keep showing them. And I feel like we never. I haven't seen them.

00:07:42 Dustin: Yeah, I don't know.

00:07:43 Logan: You mean like Olaf?

00:07:44 Nate: Yeah.

00:07:45 Dustin: Oh, okay.

00:07:46 Nate: Yeah. Why is Paris getting, like, a free roaming before? Like we get a reliable appearance.

00:07:51 Logan: Is parents like Japan or is it is it Disney?

00:07:55 Dustin: No, they're two completely different places in Paris. They speak French and in Japan.

00:08:00 Logan: Is it Disney owned? They have no like the same way. Okay.

00:08:06 Dustin: Yeah.

00:08:06 Nate: I thought you meant like the land because it is so similar.

00:08:09 Logan: No.

00:08:09 Dustin: Um, from what I understand, Japan is the only one that owns theirs. And I think Abu Dhabi is going to be the same where they're licensing Abu Dhabi.

00:08:19 Logan: But yeah.

00:08:20 Dustin: Abu Dhabi.

00:08:21 Nate: That's the one.

00:08:22 Dustin: But yeah, no, that's pretty much on my list of things to be expected because I mean, I think this year is going to be from at least what they've been giving out. It seems like it's going to be a little bit of a lighter year. Um, but I would love to be pleasantly surprised. I would.

00:08:37 Logan: Love.

00:08:38 Nate: That too.

00:08:38 Dustin: So let's move on to rumors. Ooh, now I don't really have too many rumors. Um, but I'll tell you the ones that I've heard, uh, one of them is a drone show on Rivers of America.

00:08:51 Nate: No, thanks. Moving on.

00:08:54 Logan: No drone shows are cool, like nighttime drone shows.

00:08:58 Nate: I am okay. I just don't get excited about waiting, like, minutes between something. Okay.

00:09:04 Logan: It's not minutes. We did one. Okay. The one in Seattle when we watched it, like, all those years ago. It was really.

00:09:10 Nate: Cool. Yeah. No, it's cool though, when you actually see, I guess I like to make fun of the idea of like, here's an image. Okay, wait a couple of seconds. Here's another one.

00:09:18 Logan: It's gonna happen at the end. It's gonna be like, that was incredible.

00:09:22 Nate: Yeah. Especially if it's like Marvel one. I'd be like, this is the best thing I've ever seen.

00:09:25 Dustin: Well, here's my thing with drone shows is that they have that one in Paris, which seems really cool. Um, which is over the castle. I don't know what the rules, laws and all that stuff is with drones in the United States. I know you have to get, um, FAA approved. Is that what the flight thing is? Yeah, I think it's that's what it is. And, um, and so it seems like they're always afraid to put it over people, which is why when they do it down in Florida, it's over in Disney Springs, over the water. So I mean, if you're going to do a drone show over the water, you know, I think if you theorize that, then that's a good guess. I think drone shows are very similar to like projections where if it's by. And same with fireworks actually, when they're by theirself, they're when they're combined with other things, it's like, oh, that's cool. Yeah. So I, you know, there's that they also, somebody brought up drone shows over in Disneyland where, uh, Fantasmic was. So I was.

00:10:20 Logan: Just.

00:10:20 Dustin: I was Tom Sawyer Island.

00:10:22 Logan: I was gonna say, can you imagine like drones, like if they work it into Fantasmic and stuff. Like I feel like they could do so many cool things.

00:10:28 Dustin: Yeah. And I think that would make more sense. But, um, yeah, drones by themselves are, uh, and, uh, I don't know if there's really anything to suggest. I mean, like I said, they've been testing it out in Disney Springs, but you know, who knows? This could be interesting. It could be fun.

00:10:44 Logan: It could be a cool thing to do in, um, the Marvel play thing we were just talking about like the Avengers campus.

00:10:50 Nate: Yeah. Yeah.

00:10:51 Logan: Like something like more Iron Man.

00:10:53 Nate: That's the one that they have in, they have that in there maybe. Um, and people really enjoy it.

00:11:01 Logan: It would be cool. Yeah.

00:11:10 Dustin: That would be cool. I just wish they would do less like light show drones and more like disguised drones. Like universal is trying their hardest to get those dragons to work. Yeah, yeah. It's like I want, I want like x-wings at Galaxy's Edge, you know what I mean? Just it doesn't have to fly over my head. I just want to see it.

00:11:27 Nate: Yeah.

00:11:28 Dustin: Because they've tried that once where they just kind of went up and turned around and went back down. It's like, let's get worse. Let's get them flying. Yeah. I mean, at this point, yes, I would like that. I would like that more than nothing.

00:11:39 Logan: And we're all like, uh oh. All right.

00:11:42 Dustin: Yay! Yay!

00:11:44 Nate: Thank you.

00:11:47 Dustin: I mean, to be honest, that's kind of what they do with Spider-Man. You know, doing his flip. It's just like he goes, whoa.

00:11:52 Nate: I love that animatronic so much. Which one got the Spider-Man one? I always forget about it. Oh, did did.

00:12:01 Logan: We.

00:12:01 Nate: Even see it? We have seen it. Yeah.

00:12:02 Dustin: It's okay as a starting off point, but I want them to keep going. I feel like I feel like sometimes what they do with these is that they go, all right, we gotta make them flip. So he looks like real. And then they do it and they're like, success, success. All right. Kill the project. And you're just like, well, make it do something else. Like keep it going. Like, yeah, the, the drone X wing went up, turned around, came back down. Success, success. Shake your hand. High five.

00:12:25 Logan: You're thinking you did it. You're wanting too much.

00:12:28 Dustin: I am wanting too much I know. Shame on me. Slap my.

00:12:31 Nate: Wrist.

00:12:34 Logan: Just think about how long it took for us to get the faces replaced in.

00:12:38 Nate: Oh my gosh.

00:12:40 Logan: Frozen.

00:12:40 Dustin: And then Universal's like, we'll take that technology.

00:12:44 Nate: Okay, this is on my this is on my, um, unrealistic list, but also like probably, maybe eventually.

00:12:53 Dustin: Well, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on, save it.

00:12:55 Nate: Ah, okay.

00:12:56 Dustin: So hold off, everybody wait in suspense. But no, no, when it comes to projection faces, though, I like how Disney's like, oh, people don't like this. The projection inside the face doesn't work. But what about outside the face? That was the problem anyways.

00:13:12 Logan: Doesn't work. Takes it away.

00:13:14 Dustin: Doesn't work. Takes it away immediately.

00:13:16 Logan: I'm just glad they took it away.

00:13:17 Dustin: Yeah. Um. All right, so let's move on to the next one. So Shanghai, apparently there was a leaked thing and nobody knows if it's real or not, but, uh, there's a leak thing about a new park coming to Shanghai.

00:13:30 Nate: Right?

00:13:31 Dustin: And it's going to be Epcot. Epcot two point oh.

00:13:37 Logan: Epcot.

00:13:37 Dustin: And that's the rumor. Epcot. It's Epcot for the little kids. Yeah.

00:13:42 Nate: Ah! Can you imagine the food? The food would be so good.

00:13:46 Dustin: Only. Only tater tots. Oh. Okay, we're actually talking about the real thing. Okay. Yeah, no, I agree. Yeah.

00:13:51 Logan: It doesn't. Please.

00:13:52 Dustin: It sounds cool. Uh, if it is real, I don't know. I mean.

00:13:57 Logan: I'm always ready.

00:13:58 Dustin: It sounds.

00:13:59 Logan: Cool. It's fine.

00:14:00 Dustin: Yeah, it sounds cool. So I'm like, yay! Uh, hopefully that happens. If not.

00:14:04 Logan: Hopefully we get to go sometime. Yeah.

00:14:08 Dustin: Well, that's kind of why I was hesitant.

00:14:10 Logan: Because.

00:14:10 Dustin: I was just.

00:14:11 Nate: Like.

00:14:11 Dustin: Yeah, it's cool.

00:14:12 Nate: I want it to be my next. Well, our next is probably Paris, but yes, I want it to be at my park after that.

00:14:19 Dustin: Yeah, I would probably say my next one would be Paris too, but we'll see. So that's it for my rumors. It's a very short list. I'm not in the know this time around. So, um, there was something about a patent for a car ride where it kind of looks like the Dumbo ride like Mechanic, but I don't know if it goes in a circle or not.

00:14:42 Nate: Dumbo ride with cars.

00:14:44 Dustin: Yeah. Like you see the arm. So it could be like another kind of thing. Almost like, uh, what's it called? The, the, the minecart with, uh, Donkey Kong. Like it could be like a lift thing like that. I don't know, it's just a patent picture. So maybe something with that. I don't know, that Mona thing never.

00:15:04 Nate: Came back about to say there's still that pattern on Mona. So like.

00:15:08 Dustin: Yeah.

00:15:08 Nate: That could be something that maybe we hear about. Yeah, I think they might use that pattern for avatar.

00:15:15 Dustin: But if it happens, we'll see. So let's go to, uh, let's go to blue sky because we all know that's the most fun. So blue sky, what we would like to hear, but probably won't.

00:15:24 Nate: Likely.

00:15:24 Dustin: Happen.

00:15:25 Nate: I have more. Well, okay, actually you.

00:15:27 Dustin: Got more rumors.

00:15:28 Nate: I do, but it's kind of with blue Sky, actually, it's basically blue sky because this.

00:15:32 Dustin: Would be a good transition. It's a good transition.

00:15:34 Nate: Couple people on Reddit, what they were seeing, you know what? Okay, so let's see. First one I have, which might be possible because I feel like they do like to take stuff from international parks. Some people are saying a redone version of Space Mountain might be on the way.

00:15:50 Dustin: Okay. Which which space mountain? Which space mountain? Which space mountain?

00:15:57 Nate: What are we doing? Space mountain in Tokyo. And it's supposed to be an entirely redone version. So some people are saying we might get one of those in the America box as well. I personally think possible, but maybe they would see how the Tokyo version does for us.

00:16:14 Dustin: Yeah, I don't know. I agree with you in the fact that they like to reuse, uh, ride vehicles and whatnot, but the fact that it's not built yet, and I mean, if anything, it would probably go to Magic Kingdom because their ride vehicle is the most out of date.

00:16:29 Nate: Mhm.

00:16:30 Dustin: But I don't think it would pop up this time. I think it would probably pop up next time, if anything.

00:16:35 Nate: I cannot wait to see what the Tokyo one looks like.

00:16:38 Dustin: Yeah, no, it sounds pretty cool.

00:16:40 Logan: I mean, it could definitely use a refresh.

00:16:43 Dustin: That's true. The one? Well, the one in Tokyo.

00:16:45 Logan: No no no.

00:16:46 Dustin: Oh, the one in Magic Kingdom.

00:16:48 Logan: Yeah.

00:16:49 Nate: They could use some TLC.

00:16:50 Dustin: Well, speaking of that, I, uh, this kind of leads into my first, uh, blue sky, which would be a Tomorrowland update. Just general overhaul. Mhm. Um, because we already had buzz get updated and we already having, uh, carousel progress getting updated. So I think we would, uh, I don't know, like we have two pretty much blank spaces right now, which is stitch or the old stitch ride. And then monsters is probably going to go if it doesn't go. That's just weird. Um, but you know, it has room for growth. So and then like you said, if we do get a new space mountain, then that'll be cool. And, uh, I hope they kind of I have a love hate relationship with, uh, speedway, but if they got rid of it to put in a new ride, I would think.

00:17:36 Logan: I hate it.

00:17:37 Dustin: Okay. So yeah, no, I, I think I wouldn't mind hearing more information about at least some of those things.

00:17:45 Logan: Um, I.

00:17:45 Nate: Have a question actually. Did they, because obviously they know. Okay. Moving on.

00:17:50 Dustin: No, no, I'm just kidding.

00:17:51 Logan: Go go go. Daniel has his hand up. Yeah.

00:17:54 Dustin: Okay.

00:17:55 Logan: Yeah.

00:17:55 Nate: Okay. So they've done some stuff at Tomorrowland. They've done, like Storybook Circus at, like, Fantasyland and stuff they've done. Yeah, the cars ride for, like, Frontierland. What's the other one? Jungleland.

00:18:07 Dustin: Adventureland.

00:18:08 Nate: Yeah. Adventureland. What's the jungle.

00:18:10 Logan: Land?

00:18:12 Nate: When's the last time they've done something at Adventureland?

00:18:14 Dustin: Um, I believe it was the Aladdin ride they added. And then they also added the restaurant or two restaurants. They added the jungle restaurant and then also or Jungle Cruise restaurant and um, the bar.

00:18:30 Logan: I think it's pretty, it's pretty evergreen though, boss.

00:18:33 Nate: I would agree with that.

00:18:35 Logan: Not that I don't want improvements, but I mean, I think that the other one, just in such a desperate need, especially with like all the developments of technology because it's supposed to be. Yeah. You know.

00:18:45 Nate: I'm just wondering if they're kind of like going land by land if maybe we'll see something there. I don't know why.

00:18:51 Dustin: I don't know. But if they did want to offset the construction and they wanted to put something in Adventureland, may I suggest, um, man, I want Mystic Manor so bad.

00:19:03 Nate: Oh, I was gonna say, like, an.

00:19:04 Dustin: Extended.

00:19:05 Nate: Jungle Cruise. No, no.

00:19:07 Dustin: You do not need to extend jungle Cruise. Jungle cruise is already a fifteen minute ride. It's fine. It's fine the way it is. But no. Throw in Mystic Manor, put in a trackless little dark ride that kids enjoy. It would be great. Just put that in there. That. So we talked about Tomorrowland update, but then also you, I believe, Nate, you said Mystic Manor in Adventureland. Okay, that'd be cool. Uh, moving over to Epcot. Well, no, I'm not gonna. I'll save up for a second. Um, I don't think it's going to be this, uh, this time around, but I think next D23 going in the future, we're gonna get that Yeti fixed. I have hope, and I'll say it every time until they fix it.

00:19:44 Nate: I gotta do it eventually.

00:19:46 Logan: I don't know about that.

00:19:48 Nate: They can figure it out.

00:19:49 Dustin: They have they have the, um, what is the headquarters for construction, which they always build every time they, uh, they're going to build or do construction and they have it right behind the Everest because they're doing all of tropical America. So when it's done, you'll have that nice little balance. I think that's going to be the best time and probably the only time they'll.

00:20:08 Nate: Be able to do. Could you just touch the yellow piece?

00:20:10 Dustin: Yeah, pretty much. And like I said, like I have this theory that the, the, the monster or the creature that's gonna be in the Indiana Jones ride is gonna have the technology that I'm sure they can transfer over to the Yeti. So we'll see. It's gonna be big because it's been twenty years and I think two different versions of animatronic upgrades just in general that I think we could figure it out, but that's all. That's it for Animal Kingdom. Oh, they're not gonna announce it, but just thrown out there. I would like The Lion King ride in Animal Kingdom. So just saying.

00:20:43 Nate: Oh, like the Splash Mountain one.

00:20:45 Dustin: Yes.

00:20:46 Nate: That should be incredible idea.

00:20:48 Dustin: That would be awesome, wouldn't it? But going to Epcot.

00:20:53 Nate: Oh, well, speaking of Epcot, I.

00:20:55 Logan: Just said it. All he did was mention it.

00:20:57 Nate: Well, a theme of my prediction. I think my predictions is adopting from international parks. Yeah. Can we get an Avondale in the United States?

00:21:06 Dustin: Like to go behind Norway? The Norway.

00:21:09 Nate: Pavilion. I just said, speaking of Epcot, because that's where it is right now. But like, I don't think it's gonna go there.

00:21:15 Logan: Right.

00:21:15 Nate: But I would love an Avondale in the USA.

00:21:19 Dustin: Um, that'd be cool.

00:21:20 Nate: And it was such a cool land.

00:21:23 Dustin: That could be cool. I dig.

00:21:24 Nate: It. And frozen is so big.

00:21:26 Dustin: Yeah. I mean, there, there have always been that rumor that like, oh, Disney's gonna announce another park. I feel like if they do, it's probably just gonna be like stealing from every other park that exists. So I'm sure if we get a new park, it'll have like Zootopia and they'll have Arendale and all that.

00:21:43 Nate: Oh, you know what? I'd rather them save it for a new park. That's a good point, Disney. Gate five. Let's get on that.

00:21:49 Dustin: Yeah! Chop chop. So let's see, uh, in Epcot. I personally think they're gonna announce a new country.

00:21:57 Nate: Really?

00:21:57 Dustin: Yeah. I think it's kind of predictable. It's what people have been asking for. Like, there are some that I would love to see. Like, I would love to see Spain. Brazil. Um, Australia, I think would be fun. But looking right now, we have Morocco that's there, but kind of empty. But I mean, typically Disney won't add another country unless it's sponsored. And right now what country is Disney teaming up with If that doesn't already have one in the World Showcase Abu Dhabi.

00:22:32 Nate: It's Abu. Yes, it's Abu Dhabi.

00:22:34 Logan: Abu Dhabi. At first, I was literally the only thing I could come to my brain.

00:22:38 Nate: You know, what is Japan?

00:22:40 Logan: I was like, no, no. We have in Japan.

00:22:44 Dustin: We have China, we have France.

00:22:45 Nate: It makes.

00:22:45 Logan: Sense.

00:22:46 Nate: So yeah, we have one for all the parks, like what the parks are located. So yeah.

00:22:50 Dustin: And I mean, I can imagine Abu Dhabi being like, yeah, no, we'll throw money at that. Sure. Why not? And then we might see a little bit of a preview center there for whatever they're doing.

00:23:01 Nate: Oh, like how they have that. Yeah, I like those.

00:23:03 Dustin: Yeah. So if this is something, they have it in China, the China Pavilion, they did that a lot. But, um.

00:23:09 Nate: I think a little bit.

00:23:11 Dustin: Yes. So I wouldn't be surprised if they did something like that. Once again, blue sky. I'm not saying I want a new country. I'm not saying specifically I want Abu Dhabi. But you know, I could see it happening.

00:23:23 Nate: It makes sense. It makes a lot. Yeah. Logically it makes.

00:23:26 Logan: Sense.

00:23:26 Dustin: So there's that. Um, also, uh, figment ride update.

00:23:31 Nate: That would be nice.

00:23:32 Dustin: I, I can imagine it wouldn't be anything huge.

00:23:35 Logan: I wish they didn't lean into figment. Now they're definitely not gonna get rid of it.

00:23:39 Nate: No, I think they will lean. I mean, he has a whole.

00:23:43 Logan: No, they already leaned into it. Like I'm saying that they're not. Because all I think about immediately is like, oh, what can we put there? But they made him like they leaned in or reignited him being like the mascot.

00:23:54 Dustin: Now, with this being said, I don't want this at all, but I can see this as a possibility. Can you imagine a world where they pull a, um, a Muppets kind of thing where they get rid of the core Muppet ride, but then they put the Muppets in another ride to take over. They get rid of figment of his imagination, but then they put him as the guide of Spaceship Earth.

00:24:18 Nate: Figment?

00:24:19 Dustin: Yes. I don't want this, but if you think about it, yeah, if you think about it from a Disney like higher up perspective. Spaceship earth is the Epcot Ball. That's the main attraction. Not everybody's favorite, but it's kind of the main showcase. You put figment in there, taking you around the history. It gets rid of the whole idea of imagination. Right.

00:24:41 Logan: But get rid of.

00:24:43 Dustin: That certain point of view. Well, in a certain point of view, it's like, oh, well, he's the host of Epcot, so let's just have him talk about the history. I don't like that idea at all, but I could kind of see it happening if they were going to get rid of Figment Ride. But at the same time, I think they're gonna update it. I don't think it's going to be a huge overhaul that everybody wants. I don't think it'll be like a retrack or anything. I think it just went.

00:25:06 Logan: Yeah. I can't imagine that they would. When have they done when actually that's a good question. Is that a retracking of a ride was the last one. What was it before the one that just happened? What was it called.

00:25:19 Nate: Like big thunder?

00:25:20 Logan: Yeah. Like one was the last time they did that before Big Thunder. Well, technically.

00:25:25 Dustin: Okay. So hold on, hold on, hold on. Retracking as in like picking up all the track and laying it down the same as before or changing the route.

00:25:33 Nate: I guess like changing it. Yeah.

00:25:35 Dustin: Well, they didn't change the route of Big Thunder. They just replaced the hardware.

00:25:38 Nate: No, but isn't it like long ago now?

00:25:41 Logan: I thought they did make I thought they did do some sort of change.

00:25:45 Nate: I think it.

00:25:45 Logan: Is.

00:25:46 Nate: I mean.

00:25:46 Logan: Well.

00:25:47 Dustin: I mean if they did then they did. But what's funny is that the figment ride was retracked because it used to be longer, and then they shortened it, and then they put, you know, a whole new ride system.

00:25:57 Nate: Interesting decision.

00:25:58 Dustin: I don't know what they're going to do with figment. And, uh, I just hope whatever is done is justifiable. I don't want the imagination Pavilion to leave because that's like the best. I don't understand why that one's not bigger. I mean, we're talking about Disney with animation and, you know, like, it's all the whole thing is magic and imagination. And then you just have this like little ride in a movie theater.

00:26:19 Logan: And it didn't change at all. They just redid they. Yeah, they just did a full retracking, which made it smoother and allowed them to lower the height requirement from forty inches to thirty eight.

00:26:30 Dustin: Hey, now my son can ride it. Hey.

00:26:33 Logan: That's the first time I'm hearing it.

00:26:34 Dustin: I couldn't tell you the last time they would have redone a track like that.

00:26:39 Logan: Because then the only, the other one that I was thinking about because I was like, well, they're redoing. But then I was like, no, it's gonna be the same track, Indiana Jones, same track, which makes sense. I'm not knocking.

00:26:48 Dustin: Them. Yeah, well, maybe, maybe.

00:26:50 Logan: It seems like so much.

00:26:51 Dustin: Maybe Space Mountain in Disneyland because they did a whole new ride system. Now, what some people are saying too is, uh, they would like them to tear down that theater and then just make the whole thing a bigger ride. Uh, that could be fun. I mean, if they want to do like, a track like Trackless Ride with figment, that could be cool, I guess. So the next, uh, the next thing, staying in the same spot, uh, keep the theater and put Muppets in it.

00:27:14 Nate: It's funny that you're so hung up on the Muppets.

00:27:16 Dustin: Just really put the Muppet thing there because it's a theater that nobody's using. It's a 4D theater. Just put the Muppets in it.

00:27:25 Logan: God.

00:27:26 Dustin: God only.

00:27:28 Nate: Makes sense.

00:27:29 Dustin: It kind of fits the imagination thing. And as I've said before, I thought they were teasing this because I saw a video online of Sweetums in that field right next to the Imagination Pavilion, and I'm like, oh, snap, is he coming over? But it was for, um, one of those marathons and they had characters along the way. And for some reason Sweetums was there. But I'm like, this seems to be a good spot.

00:27:52 Nate: He seems to like it here.

00:27:53 Dustin: Yeah, they seem to like it here.

00:27:54 Logan: You're saying you want the Muppets to go where?

00:27:56 Dustin: To that theater right next to, uh, the figment ride.

00:28:00 Logan: Oh, we're captain EO and stuff.

00:28:02 Dustin: Yes, we're captain EO was. Yeah. I mean, what a great lineage it goes. Captain EO then it goes. Honey, I shrunk the audience. And then some Pixar shorts and then Muppets 3D.

00:28:12 Logan: I don't know, I think they could also just demolish it and then build another ride.

00:28:16 Dustin: Sure. Or expand figment. So I mean, you got a lot of options. You got a lot of options. But that's my blue skies. Uh, Logan, do you have any blue skies? Blue skies. Blue skies.

00:28:28 Logan: Um. Not really, honestly, because they gave me so much to look forward to that I can't really think about like, or I don't really have, like, all I can think about is like, are you almost done? Like how much? How much longer? Like, do you have a date? Like what? Like that's all that is really all that keeps coming.

00:28:45 Dustin: Uh, Nathaniel, do you have any blue skies?

00:28:48 Nate: Um, no. Not really. Yeah.
