Well, folks, welcome back to another episode of Fennell's Fables - your weekly dose of reality tweaked into absurdity. Or is it the other way around? Who knows, who cares, right?
I've been thinking about this whole tech boom we got going on - you know, the one that's making billionaires out of pimpled 20-year-olds who can code. Except, these aren't your regular nerds - nah, these are nerds with a twist. They've got yachts, private jets, and supermodels hanging off their arms. It's like the universe decided to reward every wedgie they got in high school with a supermodel and a billion dollars.
And what's their secret sauce? They can code. They can talk to machines. It's like they're the Dr.Dolittles of the digital age. Except the animals they're talking to are made of zeros and ones, and instead of helping them, they're making them do their bidding.
I mean, imagine if Dr.Dolittle was like, "Listen, Mr. Elephant, I need you to build me a mansion, and while you're at it, could you make a billion dollars appear in my bank account?" That'd be some messed up stuff right there, wouldn't it?
But that's not even the weirdest part. The weirdest part is that we're all just going along with it. We're all just like, "Yeah, sure, that makes sense. A 20-year-old who can talk to machines deserves to be a billionaire."
Meanwhile, teachers are out here shaping the future generations and barely scraping by. Nurses are saving lives, working grueling shifts, and what do they get? A pat on the back and a "Good job, champ." But yeah, the kid who programmed a new way to share cat videos? Let's give him a billion dollars and a yacht.
It's a mad, mad world, folks. But hey, at least we got the cat videos, right? Because who needs healthcare or education when you can watch a cat play the piano?
