Unknown Speaker 0:54
Hello. My name is Graham Keating. I'm 21 years old, and I just recently graduated with a degree in Hospitality Management.

Unknown Speaker 1:02
Thank you so much for joining me. I really appreciate it that you're here right now. So yeah, I have a few questions for you today. I want to start with, are you from Las Vegas?

Unknown Speaker 1:16
No, ma'am, I'm from Murfreesboro, Tennessee, is about 45 minutes southeast of Nashville. It's very, very nice place, you know, so I grew up,

Unknown Speaker 1:25
okay, Tennessee. What brought you to UNLV? Out of all the universities? What brought you to UNLV?

Unknown Speaker 1:33
Well, I'd say that my career aspirations that I want to open a sports bar, and when I had the chance to come play football here, and to also get a have, you know, play on scholarship, and also get a degree in Hospitality Management and get into something that I have been wanting to do for a very long time. I couldn't turn that offer down.

Unknown Speaker 1:52
Yeah, that's fair. That's really cool. I know that the football team has been doing really good so far.

Unknown Speaker 2:01
Yes, we've had some, had some recent success this year, but we're, we're excited to keep, keep working and continue to reach our goals.

Unknown Speaker 2:09
Yeah, yeah, exactly. I actually, I wasn't planning. No, I did want to go to the first one that was like at the Legion stadium, and I thought I wasn't going to be able to make it, but I did go and actually had a good time. Actually had a good time. I ended up going by myself, but it was really cool, and it was nice to see, like, they guys won against, like, Utah tech. Yeah, was

Unknown Speaker 2:28
it your? Was it your first game here? Yeah, wow, yeah.

Unknown Speaker 2:32
I think yeah, just in general, my first football game out here, at least. I don't think I've seen anything besides, like, high school football. So I was thinking that, like, the football game was gonna, like, happen at night,

Unknown Speaker 2:43
because I'm just, like, usually always does High School, yeah? So I was thinking, I was like,

Unknown Speaker 2:47
ding, I'm not gonna be able to make it because I had, like, something planned already. But then I was like, I saw the notification on the ticket. I was like, actually, no, it's happening at 12. So I was like, oh, wait

Unknown Speaker 2:57
a minute, noon start. Yeah. I

Unknown Speaker 2:58
was like, Okay, actually, I can go. And I was trying to get like, my friends to come with me, but everyone was busy, so I was like, You know what? I'm just

Unknown Speaker 3:04
gonna go. That's alright. Just gotta. Just gotta try some but, yeah, I definitely want to

Unknown Speaker 3:09
go to more of the football games because they were really fun. And I suggest everyone else better go to the football games too and support Graham. So what? Okay, so you said you did graduate with a hospitality major. Okay, what? We know you already said that you're planning to have a sports bar eventually, yeah, we were talking about that a little bit. You don't have a name for it yet,

Unknown Speaker 3:32
not quite yet. I mean, there's been some ideas, but at the same time, I think that, uh, that's something that needs to, you know, happen a little bit later on. That's true. Yeah. I think the vision will be a little bit more clear later on. That's true. I mean,

Unknown Speaker 3:46
you got to, like, see out the space and, like, definitely, yeah, so you never know, but definitely keep an eye out for that. Y'all, there might be a potential sports bar in the future. Where would you open it up?

Unknown Speaker 3:58
I definitely would go back to Murfreesboro. It's also a college town. Okay, yep, so MTSU is the school that's there. Yeah, they're very similar level to to UNLV, like, you know, size wise, and yeah, kind of how the the campuses are, yeah, I think the opening near there would be, it'd be pretty awesome. Be the chance to, you know, connect with the the college community and with the whole community itself, yeah, for sure, yeah. And then, you know, there's a secret little UNLV hideout in the middle of Tennessee,

Unknown Speaker 4:28
really. Oh

Unknown Speaker 4:29
yeah. Just be, you know, a rebel dude, you know. Okay, be pretty awesome.

Unknown Speaker 4:33
Okay, so, after you're done, because you're going for your MBA crisis

Unknown Speaker 4:37
right now, I'm doing business administration certificate, you know, just to make sure to have some a little bit more something for when I applied to the MBA program, you know. So I have a little bit more boost in my resume. Okay,

Unknown Speaker 4:52
for sure. Do you? So what I meant to ask was, are you so you're planning to go back to Tennessee, like after you're done here? Yes, ma'am, that

Unknown Speaker 4:58
was my plan. I'll probably. Work out in Vegas for a while, get some more work experience here. I have had some before the past couple of years, but I think that I probably need about two or three more years before I come back to Tennessee just to make sure that I have a steady job so I can get closer to my to my degree. Okay, that's

Unknown Speaker 5:17
fair. That's definitely fair. So besides school, what do you do in your free time? Like, after you're done with school, you go home, what do you do in your free time?

Unknown Speaker 5:28
Usually, I just hang out with my my roommates, my teammates. Still watch a lot of sports, definitely, yeah, I play a little bit of video games with you know, the new NCAA game that came out. Okay, we our team, got the chance to get featured in it. Oh, wait, really like play as myself? Yeah, what? Yes. Wait, you

Unknown Speaker 5:48
have a character that's crazy, pretty, pretty,

Unknown Speaker 5:51
pretty bad rating overall, but, you know, but that's okay, yeah, that's still cool to be in the game.

Unknown Speaker 5:56
No, literally, that's so cool. I did not know that. That's awesome. Okay, what other games do you play? Big

Unknown Speaker 6:05
Minecraft fan,

Unknown Speaker 6:06
really? I like Minecraft too. I got into it, like during the pandemic, like, I never played it before, until then. And just like, I don't know, I love it. Me, my friends will still occasionally play it. But like, during the pandemic, that was like, yeah, it was big. And, um, yeah, I don't know how to build anything on that game. So every time I play, I just kind of like, walk around and say hi to everyone, yeah, or use the little like, you know, you can, like, dance or whatever. So that's what I love about it. I do not know how to build anything. I also like in creative mode, everything's a lot easier in creative mode when you like, when it's not and it's like in survival mode, I die in like two seconds.

Unknown Speaker 6:57
Like, I just do it for fun. So, like, peaceful, no monster training, yeah, just hang out build. But I like to build. I played the game since, like, 1000 12,013, yeah, my sisters a lot,

Unknown Speaker 7:11
yeah. I introduced my brother to that, like, he used to really be into gaming, and so I used to, like, play with him. Like, on my would not Minecraft, like, Roblox, yeah,

Unknown Speaker 7:21
my sisters were big Roblox. I'd never got into it, though, no, no, just not a I don't know.

Unknown Speaker 7:26
I feel like they're kind of similar. They're

Unknown Speaker 7:28
definitely similar Roblox, I feel like is a much bigger, like expanded game overall, though, that's

Unknown Speaker 7:35
true. That's true. Okay, okay, um, so do you live on or off campus. So

Unknown Speaker 7:42
I live just off campus. I have a house with some of my teammates. Yeah, it's pretty it's pretty awesome. Yeah, so it's good. You know, we have, we get a great the homeowners are very nice. That's good. That's always good, exactly, try to keep it clean. That's always hard with, oh my gosh, a bunch of house with five guys, Yeah,

Unknown Speaker 8:04
I bet we do a pretty good job. Okay, I've seen some guys places moving crazy. Some

Unknown Speaker 8:15
homes look a little treacherous, yeah,

Unknown Speaker 8:16
but yeah, I'll take your word for sure, and do you? So how's your commute here?

Unknown Speaker 8:26
It's not bad. It's like a four minute, five minute drive. Yeah, to this the green spot Hall specifically, yeah, and then to go to our facility, it's probably about seven minutes, eight minutes, just because it's on the other side of campus. Just got to drive through that little way, passive degree I was

Unknown Speaker 8:44
gonna say, bless you. Okay, okay, so you definitely you have a car that you drive.

Unknown Speaker 8:55
Got a Nissan Frontier, Okay, nice little truck. It's pretty awesome. Oh,

Unknown Speaker 9:01
okay. Love that I have a Mazda that I've had, like, since I was, since I was 18. Yeah, well, 2012 Mazda. She currently is out of commission right now, like, because I accidentally the driver side mirror, like I was backing up parking sweat. Next thing you know, I didn't realize there was a pillar right next to it. And you know, next thing you know, the driver's side mirror is on the floor. That's not good at all, no. And so, yeah, I'm trying to avoid driving here until I did order another driver's side mirror. So until I get that big see, at

Unknown Speaker 9:44
least part of the problem has been addressed, yeah, but I'm

Unknown Speaker 9:46
just a girl, you know? I'm just a girl. But I like to think, okay, the only things that I've I've only been in one car accident before, and it's only been, like, parking related, if that makes sense. But I'm. Really good driver. Okay,

Unknown Speaker 10:01
I'll just take your word

Unknown Speaker 10:04
for it. I swear. Yeah, no, I swear. Okay, okay, so, ooh, we were talking about this, do you eat out or cook at home?

Unknown Speaker 10:13
I kind of do a mixture of both. Okay, it really just depends on how I feel. It's like a practice day, and I'm like, Oh, I'm so tired, yeah, Woe is me. That's when I'll go get something to eat, yeah? But you love cooking. I do also like to cook, yeah. But groceries are expensive, right? They are, so it's

Unknown Speaker 10:29
like, either I can eat out, I can cook at home, and always eating out sounds like the easier option, in my opinion. Yeah,

Unknown Speaker 10:37
it is sometimes. But at the same time I try to, I mean, I go to some big Sam's Club guy, really, it's just because it's closer to campus. It's just down Tropicana. Really, it's pretty close. So now the membership over there, so just go over there. Okay, get all my bulk needs.

Unknown Speaker 10:56
Yeah, it's like similar to Costco, right? Okay,

Unknown Speaker 10:59
it's basically just like, Costco is cousin, Costco cousin, okay, that's one way to say cool cousin, you know, because it's sometimes it's like a beef, just because, like, oh, Costco is better, yeah, I don't know, yeah, both equally, pretty awesome.

Unknown Speaker 11:12
That's true. That's true. I've only ever been to Costco, but I don't know. Every time I go to Costco, like, I end up buying way more than I need too much tantalizing. Yeah, they do have some good options, but it's just

Unknown Speaker 11:24
like the setup is immaculate,

Unknown Speaker 11:28
for sure, for sure. But you like cooking, so what are some things that you like to cook?

Unknown Speaker 11:35
Definitely say just pasta, just because usually it's super easy. Just make a lot of make a lot of pasta. I have gotten pretty crazy sometimes, especially when I'm at home with my family. We do like a lot of cooking at home. So mate, we made a ratatouille

Unknown Speaker 11:52
really. I love ratatouille again.

Unknown Speaker 11:54
It's really cool. Yeah, cool dish to do. It takes a lot of work, but it's, yeah, it's pretty it's really good, too. It's probably the only, I'm not because, so probably the only vegetarian dish I'll eat really, yeah, it's really good, though.

Unknown Speaker 12:10
So you mostly make like stuff with like meat and stuff. I just need

Unknown Speaker 12:14
the protein. Like, it's big, yeah, big health, health thing, yeah,

Unknown Speaker 12:18
okay, that's fair. I'm a sometimes itarian is what I like to call it. So sometimes I like to think I'm vegetarian, but other times I do eat some meat occasionally. But yeah, cooking, I don't love

Unknown Speaker 12:32
but that's all right.

Unknown Speaker 12:36
I don't, I don't love cooking, but I do love to good home cooked meal. I'm not gonna

Unknown Speaker 12:40
lie, it's always it's always good, especially when Bob makes it that's, yeah, five times better.

Unknown Speaker 12:45
That's true. That's true. Okay, so now we're gonna move on to some football related questions. I have a few of those, of course, just very general. But how long have you been playing football?

Unknown Speaker 12:58
So I started playing football in the sixth grade. When I started middle school, sixth grade, my parents didn't let me. We really want you to get concussions. Yeah, which is smart, yeah. CTE, bad thing, yeah. You want to protect your your head as much as possible. But I did end up getting a concussion that year. So it scared the one year the mess out of my mom

Unknown Speaker 13:19
that they let you do it and you get a concussion. Wow. She's like,

Unknown Speaker 13:23
she told me. She's like, hey, you know, I understand that. It just happens sometimes, yeah, thankfully, I haven't had a diagnosis one since then. I mean, I've had my pretty, pretty big,

Unknown Speaker 13:34
whatever that's so scary,

Unknown Speaker 13:36
is just part of it. And sometimes, you know, it's, there's, there's a lot of steps being made in the game right now to avoid it, especially with, like, Guardian caps. It's like a, yeah, the cap that goes over the top of our helmets. They're in the NFL. They're letting the guys wear it in the games now. But,

Unknown Speaker 13:54
yeah, but does it make, like, the helmet heavier? So much heavier, really? Okay, so that's like, why people like, Hell

Unknown Speaker 14:03
is pretty heavy, as is,

Unknown Speaker 14:04
I would assume. So yeah,

Unknown Speaker 14:07
but yeah, I started playing in the sixth grade. Played all through middle school, all through high school, then got recruited to come here.

Unknown Speaker 14:16
Oh, look at that, and that's how you made it here. Okay, okay, so you've been playing since sixth grade. Did you ever play any other sports? Are you interested in any other sports I did? I was,

Unknown Speaker 14:28
I was a wrestler in high school or middle school. In high school, okay? I was a two time state medalist.

Unknown Speaker 14:35
Okay, okay, no big deal. Tennessee

Unknown Speaker 14:38
wrestling is not renowned for being, like, super awesome when it comes to wrestling or just in sports in comparison to, like the rest of the nation, like some other states. But, I mean, it's, it was still pretty pretty I thought it was pretty competitive. It's pretty awesome. Yeah. And then I also played rugby, rugby. Yes, played rugby. I played baseball and basketball when I was little. People, but I just wasn't really super, super good at those, okay,

Unknown Speaker 15:03
but okay, rugby is that similar to football? I'm not really sure what rugby is, to be honest. So

Unknown Speaker 15:10
think of it as, like a mix between soccer and, like American football,

Unknown Speaker 15:13
okay,

Unknown Speaker 15:14
it's, it's you have to throw back, like you have to pass backwards, okay, compared to football, which is forwards. I think that's like the biggest there's a lot of rules. You can play it for like, five years and still not know everything about the game. A lot of confusing aspects, definitely.

Unknown Speaker 15:31
So is it like you learn as you go type of thing? Definitely, as a learn as you go. Because

Unknown Speaker 15:35
there's not a super big rugby culture in America. It's more of a European sport

Unknown Speaker 15:40
that's that makes sense, yeah,

Unknown Speaker 15:43
it is very confusing at times. Yeah, it was a lot of fun. My, a lot of people in my family traditionally played rugby. My, my grandfather owned a rugby club in Daytona Beach, really, yes, okay, basically, just for like a, like a heritage thing, I'd say, okay, my dad played as well, so it's cool to be able to do that for a while.

Unknown Speaker 16:05
Okay,

Unknown Speaker 16:06
do you still play occasionally? It's pretty big contact for okay, I

Unknown Speaker 16:12
don't know. It's like something you could do, like, for fun. Definitely like

Unknown Speaker 16:16
after football, yeah, there's definitely opportunities with rugby, okay? But it's just like a Yeah, kind of just like a play at your leisure, kind of yeah situation there. Okay,

Unknown Speaker 16:30
yeah, okay. And then is your, well, I guess you kind of already said that, but is your family pretty big on sports? Like, do they like watching the games and like,

Unknown Speaker 16:40
Yes, both of my sisters play sports as well. My middle sister, I have two little sisters, Amelia, she is 19 now, hey, but she plays volleyball at North Alabama University freshman. So this is her first year in college. Congrats to her. And then Annabelle is 17, and she plays she's still in high school. She's a senior, but she plays volleyball as well, yeah, and she also throws shot put in discus. Wow, yeah. So okay, family's very big on athletics.

Unknown Speaker 17:16
So are you the only boy? I

Unknown Speaker 17:18
am the only boy. Oh, and I'm named after my dad too.

Unknown Speaker 17:23
His name is Graham, yeah, so

Unknown Speaker 17:24
he's Peter. My first name is Peter.

Unknown Speaker 17:26
Your first name is Peter. Will you go by Graham? I

Unknown Speaker 17:29
go by Graham, just because nobody else has gone by Graham. So okay, well, okay, so

Unknown Speaker 17:33
I wasn't gonna my my friend mentioned it last time, but my actual first name is Sophia, but I go by star, so similarly, same concept, but yeah, I was trying to avoid telling anyone about that, but now it was in the last episode, so now it's out there. Now everyone knows. No, literally, I was like, No, anyone know about that, but it's okay. I mean, I go by star, you go by Graham, very similar, yeah. What do your parents do?

Unknown Speaker 18:09
So my mom is, she works for a brand management company. So they do, they put like brands on different items, yeah, like, pens, you know, like, backpacks, stuff like that. And then she also runs, it helps run a special needs baseball league called the Miracle field in Murfreesboro. Oh, wow. Pretty awesome. Was started by David Price. He used to play for the LA Dodgers, okay, but he is from Murfreesboro, so he came back and built like a brand new park. It was awesome. It was such a, such a generous, kind, generous, yeah, that's so cool. But the city runs, the city of Murfreesboro runs the like the league itself, but it's a lot of fun. I've been able to volunteer quite a bit, obviously, since she she works there, and it's been pretty awesome. That was my first job ever. Actually, I was the mascot. You're the mascot. Mascot. It looks like the Met like the Mets mascot, New York Mets. It's just to do with a baseball head. Oh, really, yeah. So it was like a crazy, crazy costume, putting a baseball.

Unknown Speaker 19:21
I don't mean mascot sounds kind of fun. I went to the, like, the again, I was telling you, I went to the ACES game yesterday, and the mascot was, like, everybody was, I

Unknown Speaker 19:29
don't it was an enormous playing card,

Unknown Speaker 19:31
yeah, something like that. I don't know. I forget exactly what the what the mascot was, but they were getting into it. They look like they were having a good old time, just dancing and stuff. And I was like, that doesn't sound like a bad job. The

Unknown Speaker 19:43
Golden Knights mascot, yeah, they both go crazy, like the real night sky and like the the lizard, they both get pretty. I don't know. I don't even know what it is, honestly, the inanimate animal. Yeah, animal, you know? Yeah,

Unknown Speaker 19:57
something, whatever. Hey,

Unknown Speaker 20:00
it's just not going

Unknown Speaker 20:02
right now for real. But they're doing the thing.

Unknown Speaker 20:04
They're doing, whatever it is.

Unknown Speaker 20:07
It seems like a fun job. I'm not gonna lie. Sometimes think about that. Maybe that's my next career move. It should be a mascot. It seems pretty crazy. Yeah, I don't know. It seems like a good gig

Unknown Speaker 20:15
that ties into your your dance too. Oh, yeah, that is true. I

Unknown Speaker 20:19
do a little bit of dancing. Yeah. In high school, I was a dancer for a little bit, and then I still on the side, like, sometimes I like to take, have you heard of the millennium dance complex? I've not, no, okay, it's like, there's a dance studio out here. I don't know. I think it's like 1015, minutes from here, yeah? But I go there sometimes, and I just, like, take, like, hip hop classes and stuff, but yes, dancings is definitely one of my passions. Besides, I don't know I'm a journalist, but Okay, moving on to who would you say are some of your football inspirations?

Unknown Speaker 21:00
Well, I'd say probably

Unknown Speaker 21:03
you're gonna, like, say these names, and I'm not gonna know who they are. Looking them up,

Unknown Speaker 21:08
I grew up a Tennessee Titans fan. Yeah, so a lot of Tennessee Titans. I really, I really love Steve McNair. He was our quarterback for quite a while, led us to a Super Bowl, but unfortunately, we lost by one yard. Is pretty awful. I was, believe it was the 1999 Tennessee Titans, okay? It was, uh, it was unfortunate, lost to the Rams like you know, missed a touchdown just one yard short, okay. But he was, he was a great, great man. Unfortunately, he was killed.

Unknown Speaker 21:43
Oh, no, that's so sad. I don't know, actually, no,

Unknown Speaker 21:47
there's a Netflix documentary out about it right now. Really sports unsolved the murder of air McNair. I would highly recommend you watch it. It is, yeah, insane story. It's, there's some unfortunate details in there that's so sad,

Unknown Speaker 22:00
he was

Unknown Speaker 22:05
an amazing player. Tennessee Titans, some great years. Chris Johnson, he was our running back. I love we call him CJ, 2k and then I'd say that my biggest offensive line inspiration was Taylor lawan. He played left tackle. So, like, you know the positions of football,

Unknown Speaker 22:27
vaguely, five

Unknown Speaker 22:28
guys in the front, okay, very left side, okay. And he, he played for the Titans for a very, very long time. And he was all Pro, pro bowler, like, very, very, like a lot of accolades, but he was a great player, and I watched, you know, grew up watching him play. I mean, you know, being offensive lineman, you're like, Man, I would be, you know, yeah, like that, yeah, there's another guy too. His name's Ben Jones. He's a great center, which is the position I play now,

Unknown Speaker 22:55
yeah, I meant to ask you, that is your position.

Unknown Speaker 22:59
So I'm the guy in the middle of the five snaps the ball to the quarterback. Okay,

Unknown Speaker 23:05
okay, cool. So wait, what you said? Your team is the Tennessee Titans. Yes, ma'am, that's his team. Okay? Titans. Go Titans.

Unknown Speaker 23:16
We're not very good right now, but it's just because you know a lot of young guys on our team.

Unknown Speaker 23:22
It's all those young players, man, they got to make their mistakes early, yeah, so you can win later on. But yeah, maybe you'll, you'll be on there next. Yeah, and whip them into shape. You know, you never know. You never know. Sorry,

Unknown Speaker 23:34
you gotta go in there. Make

Unknown Speaker 23:34
a difference. Yeah, exactly. Okay, okay. Another question that I have for you is, like, how do you say like, you balance, like, practicing, studying and, like, just socializing, because socializing is important when you're in college. I think

Unknown Speaker 23:50
definitely so. I think that, first off, Coach Odom, we have a great schedule where we're in the facility, we're working as hard as we can, and when we're out of the facility, usually, you know, in the afternoon, if you have class, me, personally, I only have online classes right now. Oh, really nice. Yes. So, and we have an amazing academic advisor. His name is David wedley. He is the goat.

Unknown Speaker 24:16
The goat, okay, okay.

Unknown Speaker 24:20
He does such a great job of keeping all of our schedules together and helping us out with homework whenever we need it. Yeah? And he just does such a great job of, like, keeping our entire team in shape, yeah? And, I mean, we would be a, we'd be a sinking ship without him. He's such a great, you know? He's a great, great resource. But I'd say that he helps out a lot with balancing the work, obviously, like, you know, the football work and the academic work, does a great job of helping us balance that. Yeah, he does a great job with, you know, getting our classes correct where we need, you know, the times that we need it, so that we're not skipping practice, or exactly anything like that. And then, you know, when we're in the building, Coach Odom, he gets us, he gets us right. Okay, but at same time, they give us plenty of time to relax. You know, this weekend is a bye week. So, you know, we're still going into the morning to to stretch and, you know, walk through and, yeah, get some, get some, some mental time in. But the physical, you know, we get a physical break as you should, yeah, that's important, yeah. And they do a great job of work with workload management. In my opinion, nice.

Unknown Speaker 25:21
I guess I was just curious, like, do you have like, like, do you write to do lists for yourself? Do you have like,

Unknown Speaker 25:27
I do sometimes, my big thing is I said a lot of reminders in my phone Reminders app, and I said it for certain times where I know I'll be looking at my phone, because I unfortunately use it a lot more than I should.

Unknown Speaker 25:42
Yeah, no, same, same. If you look at my like time on there, like, I bet tick tock is up there with like, hours, literally hours of

Unknown Speaker 25:51
so much good content on there. Now,

Unknown Speaker 25:53
I know there is, and

Unknown Speaker 25:55
it's become like, more than just, like, just straight jokes. It's been like, informative stuff too. That is true. It has helped me out a lot. Like recipes and stuff like that. Look at it be like, Oh hey, maybe yeah, make this work. Or more places to eat at too.

Unknown Speaker 26:08
Oh shoot. Give me suggestions, like in Vegas, like where to eat and stuff. Yeah, definitely on Instagram, too. My sister is actually the one sending me, like, stuff to, like, try out in Vegas. She goes back in like, California, but she's like, Oh my gosh, you should try out, like this place and that place, and I like, definitely, definitely. So if only I had more money, I would be going to all these places. But unfortunately, like, it's important to save. Yeah, it's important to save. So I just like, added to the list of places to like, try. Okay, so as we get, like, closer to the end of this podcast, I like to, I like to play a game. So I came up with a game specifically for you. We're gonna call it a game with Graham, and so it's related to football, and it's really gonna be helpful for me and any other people who are not like football fanatics. So I'm gonna give you a term, a football term, and you're just gonna describe it to the best of your ability. Gotcha. Okay. Okay. So the first one that I have is, how would you describe a touchdown? So

Unknown Speaker 27:04
a touchdown is when a player with the ball in their hand, yes, enters the designated box, which is 10 yards by 53 and a half yards at the end of either end of the field.

Unknown Speaker 27:19
Okay, so that's a touchdown. How would you describe an interception? So an

Unknown Speaker 27:24
interception is when a defensive player catches a pass that is thrown from a quarterback before it hits the ground. Okay,

Unknown Speaker 27:31
number three flag on the play. So a flag

Unknown Speaker 27:34
is it's just a little sand filled yellow cloth that of referee throws, artificial throws, yeah, so that they can notify everyone that they saw what is considered a penalty in the game. And

Unknown Speaker 27:51
then the last one that I have for you is first down. So

Unknown Speaker 27:55
the goal of the offensive side of football is to get 10 yards within four plays until you reach the end zone, where you go in and score a touchdown. So you start off and you have four downs to get 10 yards, or else the ball will turn over to the other team. Okay,

Unknown Speaker 28:13
okay, so that's the first down y'all. And then so for the last very few minutes, I want to give you a moment to, like, shout out anything that you want to shout out, whether that's like upcoming games, or if you're a part of a club or something and you want to announce an event that's happening, I'm going to give that to you.

Unknown Speaker 28:31
So I want to announce that we are going to be playing Fresno next Saturday, not this Saturday, as in, oh wait, when is this coming out? This

Unknown Speaker 28:40
is coming out next Thursday at six. Okay, so

Unknown Speaker 28:43
on Saturday this week, yeah, we will be having a game at home against Fresno State. They are arrival of ours. We are, we're very excited. We're preparing heavily for this game. Yes, and we, we would love to have a great fan turnout to come and support us, because we would love to support you through our efforts. Yes,

Unknown Speaker 29:03
everyone, please come out and support Graham this coming Saturday, right? Yes, ma'am, yes, come support Graham. Okay, so now I'm gonna do a little outro. So thank you so much for listening to let's chat, rebels. I hope you all enjoyed it as much as I did, please stay tuned for more future podcasts with me, your host, star, if you'd like to continue supporting me in all my future endeavors, you can find me at Star Posner.
