Remember God’s call to Moses from the burning bush in Exodus 3? Did that have something to do with our salvation? Sure it did. It was a part of the plan to bring Jesus Christ into the world to save you and me [Luke 20:9-18].

Echoes from that burning bush are still heard today in the saving message of the Gospel [Matthew 28:18-20]. You see, those old accounts are not just good stories. They’re a historical record of what God did to save the world, to save you, to save me.

There’s an old gospel song entitled “Echoes From the Burning Bush.” Can you hear them? Do you believe it? As that old song says, “Do you believe it without a thought of shame to blush?”
