Speaker 1:

Hello darling, this is River Roaring celebrating the Luminous Life Force in us all. -Hello, darling. I'm River Roaring, and this episode is about celebrating our differences, celebrating our beautiful differences in sexual expression, including all human beings no matter shape, size, of course color, all the things gender all the things humans can be celebrating all those differences including disabled bodies, abled bodies, differently abled bodies, neurodivergent, and spectrum and all the other labels and names that we come up for one another to describe ourselves. I'm celebrating all of our differences in sexuality because every human being has a unique sexual expression and a unique set of sexual desires. Every single human being has an extremely unique deep set of sexual desires and way that you express sexuality.

Speaker 1:

You have a very unique way. Think about your own fantasies, think about things that your own body has reacted to that maybe surprised you like, Woah, I'm kind of feeling aroused right now, but what's going on? I didn't expect it right now but what's happening here? What's stimulating that? Of course many of us are taught we're supposed to be aroused at a certain time and not supposed to be aroused at other times which is false.

Speaker 1:

So then we start judging ourselves and thinking we're broken when we're aroused at the wrong time and not aroused at the time we think we're supposed to be aroused, so there's so many cultural myths and incorrect ideas that are part of our society we're living in right now. So today I want to celebrate all the various types of bodies and minds and individuals that are human: disabled, differently abled, neurodivergent. So I have been a sexual healer professionally for about fifteen years and that's the only way I've earned my living for fifteen years basically. Actually I did of course most of you know that I was a trial attorney with my own law office for over twenty years trial attorney and lobbyist in Austin, Texas with an office by the courthouse and the Capitol. But after that I have exclusively earned my living through sexual healing and in that I've studied and learned from many many teachers and I've also seen many many human bodies and the beautiful part of being human is that every single one of us who is a human has a heart a heart portal, the heart portal that is capable of just as much love and affection as every other human.

Speaker 1:

There's no person who's human who has a heart that is capable of loving in different ways than other people's hearts are capable of loving. We're all capable of loving. We all have a heart. Another thing that every single human has is a physical body and an energetic body so if you are a human being you have your physical body that you can touch and feel and then you are a multi dimensional entity and one of your dimensions is having an energetic body and it's in that energetic body where sexual energy practice lives and where we cultivate our energy, our sexual energy, and it's actually aroused sexual energy that arouses us. So a lot of people feel like they might not have access to full sexual function and that's why I'm making this podcast.

Speaker 1:

So first I want to talk about overall just differences in human beings. It's kind of like every single one of us is different from one another. We're not the same, nobody's the same as each other, and nobody has the exact same sexual arousal interests and turn ons nobody. So no matter what your body and mind are like, you're like a puzzle piece and I'm like a puzzle piece and we're all like a little different puzzle piece and the question about sexual partnership is hey do I know my own puzzle piece? Do I know how I get aroused and what I love and what my desires are no matter what they are?

Speaker 1:

Do I know what they are? And then do I know my own puzzle piece and the shapes of my puzzle piece? And then do I see a partner whose puzzle piece fits together with my puzzle piece so that's for all humans whether we call ourselves able able-bodied or whether we call ourselves disabled or differently abled or neurodivergent or any other name that's still true for us. We're puzzle pieces and ideally we find a sexual partner whose puzzle piece fits with our puzzle piece. So even humans who consider themselves totally abled and like say able-bodied and let's say normal quote unquote mentally, we're not normal.

Speaker 1:

We're not the same. We're very different, know. And so for even able-bodied people, I meet a lot of people who feel like, Well my body is considered able-bodied but my body is broken sexually somehow. Either my body parts are the wrong size or my body part does this thing that apparently no one else's does like if I have an Audi then sometimes I release my ejaculate earlier than I wanted to and sometimes I release it later than I wanted to and sometimes my Audi is up and sometimes it's down when I want it to be up and up when I want it to be down and if we have an innie then sometimes we might be like well I'm supposed to be wet I'm supposed to be puffy but I'm not supposed to be aroused but I'm not what's wrong with me start putting labels on ourselves. So even able-bodied humans can start labeling ourselves with I'm broken sexually and I'm here on this podcast to say no you're not.

Speaker 1:

That's false. You are perfect and whole in your sexuality, and your sexuality is gorgeous, beautiful, and you have full capacity for sexuality. So even able-bodied humans often give themselves the same kind of labels as society does give to other people such as disabled and broken, which are not true, those are false. So I spend my career and time working with people to help them see how healthy their sexuality is once we peel off all the layers that are false that our culture has put on top of us sexually. And then I want to talk about a person who might be disabled or differently abled physically and so a lot of people who have different abilities with their physical bodies maybe you're in a wheelchair maybe there's another way that you'd use assistance to move forward communicate to take care of your daily activities maybe you have a helper who helps you take care of activities all day long for yourself and I'll use the word disabled it's what I hear is the most correct name to use.

Speaker 1:

I like the word differently abled because we're all so differently abled. However, I'll say disabled so I have known people who have different physical bodies than most of us and they call themselves disabled and think they're broken sexually and I'm here to say no that's not true and here's how. There's been some beautiful research done by Doctor. Mitch Tepper who's a friend of mine. T e p p e r.

Speaker 1:

I haven't seen him in a long time. I hope he's well. Mitch He either lives in Philly or Michigan, I think. Mitch Tepper is in a wheelchair and the doctors let him know he doesn't have any feeling from the waist down. He's a sexual healer and sexual expert who's done a lot of research and he specifically taught me.

Speaker 1:

Then after he taught me what I'm about to share, I've seen it with my own eyeballs and I've seen it with clients I've worked with. So did you know that even a person who is a quadriplegic, who doctors have said you don't have any sensation from the neck down on your body and you can't move anything from the neck down on your body and you never will. Did you know that a quadriplegic human can have rolling full body orgasms? Repeated rolling full body multiple orgasm. A lot of people didn't know that and it's true because actually your sexual energy is in your energetic body and as I said in the beginning we each have as a human an energetic body we're multi dimensional so a person who is the doctors have said you don't have physical sensation in your body or any other part can learn to cultivate their sexual energy in a way that you the person has rolling multiple full body orgasm states sexually.

Speaker 1:

So that's one kind of like myth I'd like to let go of which is if my body doesn't work the same as everybody else's, I'm broken sexually false. You have an arousal, you have some kind of sexual desires even if they are hidden and buried and protected and you don't know what they are. Still here to to say that once we remove the false ideas and culture's shame and guilt and false ideas of broken and aloneness and not enoughness and not worthiness and once we take all those layers off, you have a glorious and beautiful sexual desire set and sexual expression the way you do it. I also want to illustrate when it comes to a physical disability that I have heard a story from a man who was in a wheelchair and couldn't move I think anything I think but one arm and he had a very hot sexual relationship with a woman who their puzzle pieces fit together and he really got into the kink domination way of arousal, and so he would he would have his girlfriend follow his commands. Now step into the room slowly.

Speaker 1:

Let me look at you beautiful now slowly take off your piece of clothing beautiful now touch yourself here now slowly take the other clothes off touch yourself there move around show me the other parts of yourself touch yourself here now move closer to me a little closer slowly. Yes. That's it. And now slowly reach out and give me a gentle kiss on the lips and stroke my forehead very slowly and lightly. Yes.

Speaker 1:

That's it. Now put your hand into my hair and gently pull my hair. Thank you. Oh, that feels so good. Yes.

Speaker 1:

Now put your body. Move over here slowly, gracefully toward toward the hand I can move, etc. The puzzle pieces fit perfectly because this woman who is his girlfriend loved and was deeply aroused by this way of sexual expression and they each got to have heights of sexual ecstasy together. In fact I think it's fascinating because a person who has a different bodily function is probably has an opportunity to be a lot more creative in sexual expression than people who have sort of quote unquote standard body parts and are trying to follow some kind of mainstream porn sexual script which is very boring and very deadening inside to the soul. And then we have a category of people who consider themselves neurodivergent and neurospicy and all the words that are awesome for that group of people and again society or culture may have layered on layers that tell any person I'm broken, I'm alone, I don't matter, I'm not enough, my needs don't matter, I don't function correctly, I can't have love.

Speaker 1:

These are sad lies our culture puts on top of us so any person with any ability level can have desire squished out of them but it is my theory that every single beating heart that is a human soul has 100% glorious and full sexual expression. Just dive into what your own fantasies are no matter where they lead you because that will lead you toward your desire and if you have trouble with sexual fantasy I have a free sexual fantasy guide which I'm going to put a link to here, The Lost Art of Sexual Fantasy. So a person who's neurodivergent now when I meet a person who is differently abled in physical, mental, or any other aspect, I just like to ask, Okay, wow this is exciting because we get to find out about you, your unique qualities, your unique arousal mechanism, and sexual expression. So what do you like to do? What can your body and mind do that is stimulating and fun for you?

Speaker 1:

What's arousing, sexually arousing for you? It may be so different from most people. Like for me it's sexually arousing to have someone sit next to me and I feel their leg next to me while we watch something on the screen. Know, I mean I'm not a screen fan but that's not my puzzle piece right there. But for some people, yeah, the fact that you were sitting next to me and your leg was touching my leg for like thirty minutes was really warming, stimulating, exciting, heartwarming, opened my heart to love and expansion, my body feels a lot more open and can be very arousing.

Speaker 1:

Know we teach in my workshops about orgasm is possible from any amount of touch or even no touch so as far as trying to achieve the orgasm that's possible with any amount of touch or no touch. If you think orgasm defines the success of sexuality, which I don't, however many do, orgasm is within range for every human if that is your standard of success. My standard of success is we heightened our pleasure for the longest amount of time to the highest levels we could and it was awesome. So the way I define like really awesome sex is we expanded our pleasure to the highest levels for as long as we could and it was awesome. There might be multiple orgasms in that space, there might be no orgasms in that space.

Speaker 1:

It's still our puzzle pieces having a lot of fun. So no matter what your mental state, physical state, and now I want to also mention pharmaceuticals because we are now more publicly and mainstream, there's a conversation more about pharmaceutical sexual harm. And I want to say I guess pharmaceutical is the most common version. I've also seen really hard core addicts who've been like very hard core alcoholics for thirty years or prescription drug usersabusers for twenty-thirty years hardcore and those chemicals will drain out sexuality and block your physical sensation in your body and mentally douse your arousal because a lot of those chemicals will suppress all strong feelings and so you don't have the arousal feelings. Yes, I have seen with my own eyes people who have been on decades of chemicals that have deadened their sexuality wake their body back up.

Speaker 1:

That can be a slow process of waking back up and it's worth it because do you have a glorious perfect sexuality? Yes you do. Yes you do and so if you choose to remove culture's obstacles and society's obstacles to your free flowing glorious sexuality, one obstacle might be all the false beliefs I'm not enough, I'm not worthy, I'm not beautiful. And another obstacle that our mainstream culture offers is chemical obstacle and if you choose to remove those in a safe and gentle way, however that is for you, you have the capacity to completely wake that body back up. It's a process.

Speaker 1:

It's like learning basketball, you know, like I just can't run out on the court and just play a great game. I've never heard of the sport before. I'm gonna learn it. I'm going to train my body into basketball and then I'm gonna be able to play basketball really well. And I'm saying here on this podcast that every single human being with a beating heart has a fully glorious and absolutely stunning sexuality, sexual energy, and capacity for full self expression and gratification, however you define the gratification.

Speaker 1:

That seems like kind of a radical statement in our society when I think about it. I want to conclude here by talking about the beauty of our differences. My goodness what would this culture be like if each one of us looked the same, liked the same things, had the same body, same mind, liked the same things. I mean that's just not the universe we live in. We live in a universe where every single human being is really radically different from every other single human being and isn't that beautiful?

Speaker 1:

So I do want to point out that our differences are what attracts us to each other. Think about your own sexual desire. Your desire, no matter what it is, no matter how large or small your fantasy is in your own view, If it's like, Wow, my fantasy is someone sitting next to me and their leg touches mine for thirty minutes and I'm getting very my body is feeling pleasure. Or if yours is, I really love three hour sexual escapades where everything happens. In any case, dive into your sexual fantasy for one moment here and what you're desiring is something that is not already a part of you.

Speaker 1:

That's another basic kind of like law of the universe and sexuality. We are not attracted and we're not desirous of an exact Twinkie of ourselves. Why would we be? What would attract us about that? There's nothing to learn, explore, there's nothing to literally arouse us.

Speaker 1:

We're aroused by difference. Literally we're aroused by difference. So I remember this is so simple it may seem so simple but there's a couple of examples like once I had a boyfriend so many years ago and I had some scar on my body and he was like, Oh I love scars, Oh I really really love scars. I even feel my own body reacting right now because they show life experience and man they turn me on. And all of a sudden my scars body turned into my asset and my desirability for the other person.

Speaker 1:

All of a sudden it was like wow I have scars! Yeah that's right look at them they're awesome! Want to look at them again? It's our mind that decides whether any one part of us is beautiful or not, right? We just make that decision.

Speaker 1:

It's not a universal law that something is beautiful or not. In fact, I would say if there's a universal law, everything's beautiful. Your scars, your differences, your disabilities, your abilities, your divergence, your spectrum position, your chemical makeup all of that is different from others and attractive to someone. What would our culture be like if we fully celebrated all of these differences and we fully celebrated the way that each one of us is different and we were like, Wow that's really interesting! That puzzle piece you have is appealing to my puzzle pieces.

Speaker 1:

I'm feeling something in my body because I've woken it up and I am noticing for I don't have to know why it is but I'm attracted to your puzzle piece and that puzzle piece could be something that is very different for different people. People. Now I grew up thinking that girls are supposed to be number one smaller than the boy in a partnership and and also skinnier than the boy. Of course when I was in high school they had a word called spinners probably some of you know what spinners are insects. I'm just gonna leave it at that for now if you want to know message me talk more about that.

Speaker 1:

But I used to think well girls are supposed to be to be beautiful really small really thin and I really wasn't small and thin growing up so I always thought well I don't have the ideal woman's body but mine is good and then I had a boyfriend years ago who said, Well I like a girl who's thicker. You're kind of scrawny and thin but I'll make do. And I was like, Oh wow, This thing that I always thought was supposed to be the beauty ideal in women is actually a turn off to this man who I ended up spending four years with. Not for that only reason but it was like, Wow! That thing that I thought was supposed to be so beautiful is actually kind of ugly in his eyes.

Speaker 1:

It's not desirable, it's unarousing. Just think about that for a second. Any part of you, it doesn't matter what it looks like, feels like, how it acts, when you take off the false obstacles to your own beautiful sexual flower and it blossoms, no matter how your flower looks when it blossoms, it's beautiful and there are other flowers who fit together with your flower and really love your differences. I'm at the point in my own sexual progress where I really love differences. I love differences like, Oh what you got over here?

Speaker 1:

Oh that's so interesting! If you have a super different difference then I get to be like, Wow what does it feel like here? What does it feel like there? What do you notice with this? What does your difference do?

Speaker 1:

How does it what turns you on with all of your beautiful puzzle pieces? What a beautiful exploration it is to find what the other person how they're different and how they get aroused and what their turn ons are. So I think that people who see themselves as sort of like the same as other people actually have a lot we could learn from people who see themselves as very different from other people once those people who see themselves as different have truly found their glorious, unique, whole, and perfect sexual expression. I think there's a lot we could learn from those who have more differences than us than those who believe we don't have as many differences. The ones who believe we're the same can fall into this really easy rut that sex looks like this it looks like porn says so I'm going to do that over and over and it is a r u t rut.

Speaker 1:

So let's stay out of that and celebrate our differences, our desires, our arousal. When you meet a new person and you're going to talk about sexual arousal very often in your life, just go like, Hey, how are you different? What arouses you or gives you pleasure that you find interesting? I might have the other puzzle piece to that and stay that open minded and you might have the funnest, freakiest, most delicious, most interesting sexual experience of your life and so might the other person with that kind of open heart. I also want to say that if you've heard this podcast and you're like okay River I hear you saying all this potential I have, but how do I cultivate this potential?

Speaker 1:

You know, you're also saying that society has put obstacles on top of me sexually. And yes, I know that. I feel that. I feel ashamed. I feel not worthy, I feel broken, I feel alone.

Speaker 1:

So River, what am I supposed to do? I have obstacles blocking my own unique desires and what I want to do is invite each one of you to join us in person for the weekend workshop here in Austin Texas.
