need to follow this individual here.

your fire raptor gunship.
The vessel itself
is now scorched
after
centuries of warfare.

former
midnight blue
torn off,
replaced with
metal hull,
patched plates.
But it still flies.
This
is a
low-grade,
meaningless world
in the
furthest reaches
of
the corpse
Emperor's domain.
But none of you can fly.
So instead,
hardwired
servitors
have been
installed in this vessel
to take you down
to the surface.
It's something you've
become accustomed to
in your time.
The long,
long years
of
having
the glorified
vessel
of the Legion,
one of the many
great attack crafts,
reduced to nothing more than
a shuttle
by the
mewling,
sycophantic,
lobotomized drones
that sit
in the canopy.
But this is
a backwater
world.
There's nothing
to worry about.
Each of you
are in the
back of
the gunship.
As you're in the
back of the
gunship,
I'd like to
give you
each a moment
to describe
how exactly
you
rest in the
back of this
vessel.

gaggle of
individuals coming
out in twos
and threes.
They're barely
worth mentioning.

It's not
actually a
camp.
Several, um,
lights that
are set up
around what
appears to
be a bunker
of some
sort set
into the
hill.
A tower
outside, uh,
looms up
tall.
On it is a,
is a tower,
um, the
top of which
appears to be
a charred
wreck.
Um, you
would have
enough insight
to know that
the charred
wreck is,
uh, damaged
from probably
a missile
loosed by
your, by
your rap,
fire raptor
as it made
its descent.
Um, a kind
of parting
shot before you
were torn out
of the sky.
The remnants
on the ground
seem to
indicate that
it's some
sort of,
some sort of
anti-aircraft
weapon that
was loosed
upon your
vessel.
And then
there's the
bunker.
The first
to run out
is a man
who seems to
run in the
opposite direction
from you
towards a
vast expanse
of open
desert.
That
individual
is visible
to each
of you
running out.
It's only a
few moments
later
that
a woman
comes out
dazed
she seems
to walk
around
eventually
going
towards
the
wreckage
of the
of the
sort of
the tower
or some
of the
wreckage
that's
fallen to
the ground
and is
on fire
and seems
to take
some kind
of like
solace
by this
fire.
The
the door
to the
bunker
that she's
left
is now
fully
open.
Cephas
will pay
little
mind
to the
two
that are
ambling
out.
One
is obviously
going to
go meet
his maker
in the
middle
of the
you know
icy
night time
of the
desert
or wherever
what time
of day
it is.
It's not
good in
either case
for him
to be
wandering
out there
but hey
that's
his
prerogative.
The other
one does not
concern Cephas
and so
the only
remaining
thing of
interest
for the
Nerglite
Plague
Marine
champion
is
inside
so he
will go
in.
I will
follow
Sepsis
people are
free to
experience
nature in
their own
way
and if
that means
dying and
starving to
death in
the midst
of a
vast
wasteland
that's
their choice
of how
they'd
like to
go.

just kind
