What is ...But God?

A weekday morning devotional series written by Aaron Marcarelli and hosted by Chad McBeam

“These are springs without water and mists driven by a storm, for whom the black darkness has been reserved. For, while speaking out arrogant words of no value they entice by fleshly desires, by indecent behavior, those who barely escape from the ones who live in error, promising them freedom while they themselves are slaves of corruption; for by what anyone is overcome, by this he is enslaved.”
2 Peter 2:17-19 NASB2020
My last lecture of the year is always about Israel and the complex relationship it has with both the Middle East, Europe and the United States. It is about how Israel truly is the Genesis and Revelation of History. I am so blessed to teach at a Christian school that allows me to explain what is truly going on in Israel now.
These are the types of things Peter was talking about 2000 years ago and they are just as poignant today. Do not be enslaved by the lies of the evil one. We must seek the truth, and also speak the truth in love. All our actions, words and deeds must be born out of love and through the power of the Holy Spirit. Otherwise we fall into the abyss and utter darkness rather than the light of the life and love of Christ.
Therefore seek Him first, and His righteousness and all these things will be added unto you.
Lord God on High we praise and worship your Holy Name! Help us to always seek the truth through the power of your word and your Holy Spirit. Help us to do this so others may know, love and follow you as we do. We pray all these things in Jesus Name Amen…
