What's going on, everybody?

It's a Tuesday, and look who's back.

Uh, uh, uh.

So when that lunch bell ring, yeah,

you know what to do.

Hit play, stay strong,

let the park carry you.

Clydesdale Cowboy, yeah, we stay on track.

Midday Kings of the mic, yeah,

we always come back.

Lunch with the

From the gym to the screen, yeah,

we cover it all.

Midday motivation every time you press

call.

Lunch with the Clydesdale.

Cowboy bring the heat.

Crossfit, boobies, music on repeat.

Half hour hustle, yeah,

we building that brand.

Grab a plate, tune in now,

you part of the fam.

It's lunchtime.

What's going on, everybody?

Hey, y'all.

You're back.

I am.

I thought we made an agreement on Friday

to do the show together.

We did.

I show up in crickets.

We did.

Yesterday was absolutely bananas for me.

All the stuff that I would have normally

been doing on Sunday,

I ended up doing yesterday.

I was actually cutting my grass whenever

the show was taking place.

Yeah.

sorry about that but uh comes to making

my family and my wife happy they gonna

win over the show every single time so

there's that well uh i don't know what

that is inferring train but right we may

be off the rails but we ain't a

show not generally speaking no not

generally speaking

Because I think I'm God's gift to

CrossFit.

I'm sorry.

I don't know if you saw Dave's Week

in Review.

I did not.

I don't know if you saw Dense Updates

this morning.

I also did not.

I've been actually working.

And then Tyler Watkins clipped it and put

it up on social media.

But Dave had a lot to say about

external third-party media folk.

and where they belong in the CrossFit

atmosphere.

I'm hoping Vicky can pull that up.

Yeah,

that'd be cool because I saw that his

weekend review actually posted yesterday,

but I did not have an opportunity to

watch it.

And then this morning I've actually been

doing work at work,

which is lame as shit,

but here we are.

And no, I did not know that.

So I did not see Siobhan's version of

the week in review.

No, definitely didn't see that.

No.

My wife got back yesterday for the first

time in over a week,

and we caught up.

And then the phone rang like five

bazillion times.

I haven't seen my wife in a week,

and my daughter calls, my mom calls,

her mom calls.

I'm like, you guys saw her.

Vicki,

do you need me to pull it up

or you want it?

You need me to pull it up?

Okay.

I know we have a thing here.

All right.

I'm going to share my screen.

All right.

and that they're the f***ing man and that

they should be the arbiter for truth in

all things CrossFit.

A little platform,

give them a little voice and boom,

their head f***ing blows up and they think

they're God's gift to CrossFit.

So he was asked about the media in,

uh,

the CrossFit space and that was his

response.

Wow.

Yeah, we are the,

and I'm sure that he has someone's name

in his mind as he was talking about

it.

Yeah.

But when you don't name that person and

you just put it out that that is

the overall external third-party media,

the arbiters of truth.

I've never been an arbiter of anything,

much less the arbiter of truth.

Good Lord.

That's new.

yeah um yeah truth i was like man

someone pissed in his cheerios yesterday

morning

He gets in his feelings, man.

As much as he does not like to

admit it and people think he's a trained

SEALs and all this other stuff,

my man will get in his feelings about

some shit whenever he's in a mood,

as they say.

I mean, fine, whatever.

It happens to all of us, right?

He's human,

but the arbiter of truth is CrossFit

media.

It's not that serious.

It really, really ain't.

Dude, like here,

I'm a big fan of Dave Castro.

I think what he has done has been

amazing in this sport.

What he has done for the CrossFit

methodology has been amazing.

Absolutely.

But there are times that he does things

to...

sequester a CrossFit HQ off from the rest

of the world.

Yeah.

Right.

Like it's,

it feels like there's moments where this

is our thing and we don't want anybody

from the outside coming in,

giving their opinions or giving their

whatever.

And tell me a sport,

tell me a sport that is successful,

that doesn't have contradictions in the

media.

Dude, Stephen A. Smith.

Do I need to say anything else?

Does everybody know who Stephen A.

Smith is?

He just comes on and yells at the

camera for an hour a day,

basically every day,

whatever loud ass opinions that he has.

He gets paid an obscene amount of money

to do that.

And you either like it or you don't.

And people just go about their business.

You really don't.

At no point has the commissioner of any

of the major sports come on and be

like, Stephen A.

Smith needs to be stopped.

He thinks he's the arbiter of truth.

It's not a thing.

Are we not entitled to our opinion?

Yeah.

As outside media?

Yeah.

And so...

That has been my beef with CrossFit,

even in the glory days of regionals and

where everything was sunshines and

rainbows and unicorns, which wasn't,

I live those.

They weren't really like that.

I know we like to think before Greg

left, before COVID,

it was all sunshine and rainbows,

but it wasn't all that.

Yeah.

I had this discussion with Boz.

Boz is like,

everybody remembers those days.

Everything was awesome.

He goes, I worked there.

It wasn't.

Boz's paychecks have said CrossFit

incorporated on them for quite some time.

I would think he would know.

Right.

I would want to represent.

It's easy and it's fun and it's very

simple to look back and be like rose

colored glasses all day long from from

dusk to dawn.

Just go back and go, yep,

this is this is awesome.

Look at this.

This was so great.

It was so much better back then.

It was so much better back then.

So much better back then.

Oh,

but he was pretty close to the same.

I mean, for Christ's sake,

when we're talking about third-party

media,

we've been bringing up Armand Hammer's

name for the past month or so on

this show,

and he left completely because of how

shitty it was.

And he wasn't even a part of actual

CrossFit.

He was doing what we do.

And he was like, no, I've had enough.

I'm deucing out.

I got other stuff to do.

Well,

and that's a point I want to make.

Like, everybody's like, well,

CrossFit needs to bring back the media

department.

When CrossFit had a media department,

nobody else was allowed in.

Right.

Nobody else had any kind of credentials.

Armand got his ass kicked out of the

games.

Right?

Like, when they had their own media,

it was an exclusive club that only HQ

could be in.

It's real easy to have a club.

All the messages.

I was about to say,

it's real easy to have an exclusive club.

If you don't let anybody else in and

you say who's in the club and who

does, who's not.

It's like me,

you and Vicky have a club.

Nobody else is invited.

And you're the only one allowed to put

media out there or have enough access to

know enough to put media out there.

Yeah.

If you're going to do that,

then all of a sudden you have the

power at that point to make everybody else

more or less irrelevant.

But then you're going to invite even more

of people's wild ass opinions as it goes.

Because if we don't know anything now,

if they would freeze us out like they

did in the past,

then you really are just speculating at

that point and hoping you have some sort

of inside source to be able to go,

okay, well, from my source,

this is what's actually happening.

And you're just going to make the arbiters

of truth over here that much more

speculative because now we really don't

know.

So now we have to form our own

wild ass conspiracy theories,

whatever you want to call it.

I mean, come on, dude.

That's kind of crazy.

So I really don't feel like I'm God's

gift to media or whatever he said there.

And I don't think he was talking about

me or you or Carolyn or Jamie or

Vicky, any of the team, right?

I don't think any of us were even

a blip of a thought in his mind

during that rant.

And good.

But.

I do support the ability and the freedom

of speech and the freedom to start a

podcast to say whatever the hell you want

to say.

Freedom of the press?

Oh, you remember that one?

That's one I didn't get talked about a

whole lot when it comes to Declaration of

Independence.

Freedom of the press.

That's a thing.

I don't know if y'all knew that or

not.

We still, let me check.

Yeah, this is still America.

Last time I checked and we need,

we need that clip.

Uh, uh, what's his face going?

Oh, I'm sorry.

I thought this was America from South

park.

Um, you can still say stuff, right?

And Hey, we get it wrong a lot.

I would say that we were one of

the few people who actually admit we get

it.

We get it wrong.

When we find out that we got it

wrong.

And so does the rest of the media.

But we also get it right a lot

of the times.

And the other,

the other fifty percent of that time,

I would say, is straight opinion.

I am not wrong fifty percent of the

time.

I didn't say we were.

Listen,

if you want to stay on this show,

I'm only wrong like,

twenty-five percent of the time.

We're all right.

No,

but what I was going to say is

the other fifty percent of the time is

that you are giving your best guess at

that point because that's really all we

have.

Because we're not allowed in.

Right?

So if you don't know what's going on

behind the door,

then you just kind of got to go,

well, okay, this is what they said.

This is what I think they meant.

Or this is what I think that they

should have meant when they said what they

said.

I mean, it's all you can do.

He was clearly talking about spinning

company, wasn't he?

I don't know, Lito.

I don't know.

So outside the clip,

if you watch the whole week interview,

someone asks him about the sides of this

media beef and that they're tired of it,

right?

And he said, well,

I thought they all kissed and made up

before he goes into this riff.

Right.

Right.

So I don't know who he's talking about.

I know that Hiller's pissed him off.

I know that he banned JY.

There's times where he talks about...

where he talks about Savon pissing him

off.

So I don't know.

I'm sorry.

I'm pretty sure it was not Craig Ritchie.

I'm going to go on the limits.

It probably wasn't Craig Ritchie.

I'm seventy five percent sure it's not

Craig Ritchie.

Good night.

Oh, sorry.

That made me that made me laugh.

That was a good one.

Oh, yeah.

And probably not Craig Ritchie.

Yeah, probably not.

but again i don't have sources to confirm

that it's not craig ritchie oh that's good

stuff uh it's probably nate edwardson

catching strays yeah more than likely more

likely maybe he got a bump on the

head he's actually talking about uh talk

about ormond hammer again

maybe somebody showed him a clip from and

he's like son of a is that dude

still around no he is not kick him

out pick him out you got it oh

um uh did you have to sign a

non-disparagement thing to be media so

apparently if you had a suite at the

games

you had to sign a non-disparagement

agreement.

So no worries for us then.

We did not have a suite.

It was signed by Brian spin.

And there was one signed by the Savon

crew.

Now John can say he didn't sign one,

but he was a guest in a suite

where one was signed.

Right.

so and i think and my my two

years of business law tell me that that

probably means while he is there for the

barbell spin even though he did not sign

it himself is still under that agreement

you're act yeah you're acting as an agent

of the barbell spin at that point which

at that at that point if you have

to sign if i'm brian mr spin and

i have to sign that like i'm telling

everybody that comes up so hey man look

You can have your own opinions.

We just can't give them out.

Jesus Christ.

You just can't give them out right now.

If they talk during this whole games week,

you can't get them out right now.

Like if you have anything bad to say,

keep it to yourself until,

until all this stuff is over with it.

Then we can come back later and do

those shows.

Not a big deal.

Tessa,

the reason it's being discussed is Dave

went off on a rant.

If you missed the clip earlier in the

show,

he went off on all external third-party

media because he did not name any one

particular source.

He just named them all.

Well, he didn't name any,

so it applied to all.

We are the arbiters of truth.

Yes.

Starring Nate Everton, Craig Ritchie,

and Armand Hammer.

jesus christ uh the whole timeline of the

agreement is a joke anyway i do not

disagree with you barry i don't know why

you have to behave for two months leading

up to the games and not all year

to to get that agreement right i don't

know where's where's the window open and

where's it closed

like because lita's got a great point

right here lito says my question is when

is the cutoff point you can criticize dave

mason said he was washed a while ago

but that was okay and mason was in

the suite with savannah now so like where

does the window open where does it close

at what point is it okay at what

point is it not like that's that's the

anyway

I'm glad I didn't see that yesterday

because I would have been like,

is he talking about us?

He definitely was not talking about us.

I'm pretty sure.

Not at all.

It's not, Tessa.

It's not at all.

I hate it.

I hate every bit of it.

hate every bit of it i wish the

beefs were over i wish people just did

content again um uh hillary says he was

talking about us damn it son of a

son of a play it play it

Oh, well, shit, Hiller.

Now we know.

Now we know.

Having a good morning.

You just ruined it for me.

Thanks.

I appreciate it.

My first day back at work after that

long weekend.

Well,

I guess I won't make reservations for next

year's games.

Well, no, it'll be fine by that point,

maybe.

Who knows?

We don't know when the window opens and

closes.

That is true.

That is true.

Anyway,

he was talking about Craig Ritchie.

We've already been through that.

You're late.

Yeah.

Come on, Grant.

Sorry, Grant.

Don't bring up topics from five minutes

ago.

This show's got to keep moving, baby.

It's fresh.

It's hopping every single time.

Then you agree with that.

Thirteen months prior.

Since Hiller's in the comments,

did you see the steroids pop?

Yes, I did.

Yes, I did.

I watched that.

I did watch that this morning or listen

to it mostly.

I love how his edits back and forth.

Oh, that steroids pop.

I thought you meant his video.

Yes, I definitely saw that this morning.

Hey, Hiller, this was all you right here,

baby.

Do your research.

Mr. Wayne O'Hara.

Yep.

Placed second overall in the sixty five to

sixty nine.

Yeah.

Age group went from eighteenth to second.

Apparently it's because of all the skill

work he did in the offseason.

We were talking about this before we came

on here, and I know, you know,

I love CJ and him over there at

WOD Prep, good people.

You know,

I've had an opportunity to talk to CJ,

and I know that Brian was just pulling

stuff, whatever he could find.

But like the, not this one,

but the other, you know,

go back the other way.

Yeah,

this one and that one right there where

it says, oh, eighteenth to second.

That's just a bad look right now because,

right?

You know,

it was cool at a time when they

made the post, man,

it went from eighteenth to second.

He did all this skill work that he

did.

Turns out it wasn't from the skill work.

I just hate it for CJ and them

because I know that they're not, you know,

they're not sitting there telling them,

oh, yeah.

Don't put a, you know,

don't put any schoolwork and just go get

you some TRT and call it good or

whatever he is.

He was on.

Um,

so I hate that for CJ and them,

but I'm glad somebody else got popped.

Yeah.

Eighteenth.

The second is a red flag,

huge red flag.

Um, in one year, let's, let's,

let's clarify that eighteenth,

the second in one year, like really?

Okay.

I will say this.

He did go.

He did go from the sixty to sixty

four up to the sixty five to sixty

nine.

Right.

He tested positive.

So I don't know why I'm making the

excuse.

But if there is a moment,

if there is a moment when you're going

to make the jump,

that is when you'll make the jump.

Right.

Don't miss Hiller's athlete feature on

Heidi.

I have absolutely no idea.

Is that the one that kicks Justin's ass?

I need to watch that.

I wanted,

I wanted to check that one out.

That one looked good.

Yeah.

I, uh, I've been to meetings all morning,

so I need to go check that out.

I've been dealing with the public all

morning.

So, uh, that dude doesn't look,

what is he taking asking for a friend?

i didn't see the actual dude i just

saw the picture of freaking uh so if

you click on the video he he's being

interviewed and and the camera moves over

to him and he is jacked jacked at

got it just damn

That's what we're saying, Shanna.

We don't blame the coach.

We're saying that there's no way that CJ

or Ben told him to go use test.

God, no.

No.

CJ's probably livid when he saw that.

But there will be a narrative that...

oh we went to wood prep and blah

blah blah like that's just gonna happen

and that's that's what's annoying that's

that's what's annoying is that people are

gonna look at that and they're gonna go

oh well what prep said you know that's

their guy they're all proud of him because

he went from eighteen to second they must

be feeding himself like people are stupid

and they are going to say like that

and it drives me nuts because um i

don't know ben but i do know cj

enough to know that he's not going like

he ain't putting up with that kind of

like that's insane that's insane

yeah see this is the crap that comes

up when this happens see look there it

is right there it's already started it's

already started with ortega no less all

out of all the people i wouldn't have

expected that from you jonathan uh oh no

he has to forfeit his half wardrobe and

fifty dollar paycheck i don't think they

take the wardrobe back they might take the

fifty bucks back though

Or send him a bill for it.

That would be hilarious.

He's got an invoice in the mail from

the CrossFit Games?

I don't know.

I don't even know who would send out

that invoice.

Is it Legends?

Is it the Games?

That's an even better question.

Yeah,

who cut the check and who's asking for

it back?

They have to have gotten paid by now,

right?

I mean,

I think most of the drug testing has

already been done.

Yeah,

we're not talking about his paycheck.

We're talking about the wardrobe.

Getting back for the wardrobe.

The two shirts and the one pair of

shorts.

And the one pair of shorts.

And the one wristband.

Sorry,

we couldn't afford to get you a pair

of wristbands.

Could only send one out.

I just realized yesterday how many

sweatbands I actually own,

and it's a shitload.

FYI.

I got a, I sweat a lot.

Like I went and ran four and a

half miles this morning and I lost two

pounds.

I left the house at the time I

got back.

And I have to wear sweat bands if

not.

Wouldn't it be amazing if they made you

pay for the drug test if you popped?

That's another level.

Let's add that in.

Lido needs to be on the CAC.

We need to put Lido Calagiani on.

Let me not say that full sentence because

I was about to say she needs to

be on the CAC.

Everybody wants Lito on the CAC.

But that's a really, really good idea.

Doc knows what I'm saying.

I can see it in her face right

now.

Wrong one.

Gosh, dang it.

Do you think at sixty five you'd say

it was worth it for the experience?

That's what I don't get.

Like and I don't know.

He made it to the games before.

He just finished eighteenth.

Was it worth it for the public?

For all the disc bullshit?

For us talking about him right now at

eleven forty one on a Tuesday morning?

Come on.

What experience?

Damn, Shanna.

Shanna's coming in hot today.

Shanna.

Shanna Bunce from the top rope.

What?

to get to do five workouts and they

yeah they only did five it's it's look

i have very few talents you know but

being able to go full italian on the

top ropes yeah i was literally just typing

that okay but i thought the older age

groups only did five

I think it was seven and six.

I just was throwing out a low number.

Just whatever.

I wasn't like, who cares?

That's one of the twenty five percent I'm

allowed to be wrong.

It's just it's just a student in three

for all of that, for all of that.

So I was trying to be facetious,

but that doesn't always play through over

a month.

Sometimes it does.

OK, yeah,

so seven and six for everybody else.

and so winter's saying for fifteen minutes

of fame but here's the problem this is

now your this is now your fifteen minutes

right here is that us talking about it

in defending freaking wad preps honor at

this point which we don't really need to

do but we're gonna do anyway because we

like those people why at what point it

just doesn't make any sense to me dude

like

I don't get it.

I mean, at most,

you're getting your picture in the local

paper for something you did,

and that paper probably doesn't even exist

anymore.

Local senior citizen participates in

fitness event.

Oh, yeah.

Now he can continue to pump himself up

and feel great for a few more years

because...

Yeah.

Well,

because what difference does it make?

Right?

Like now you're on their radar,

but you're banned.

You're going to be banned for four years

at the least.

So now you're going to be sixty nine

by the time you're or maybe seventy,

depending on when they actually, you know,

when it when it plays out as far

as that goes, when his birthday is.

So you just got to do you think

they're going to bother you?

didn't get his picture damn sure didn't

get his picture on the jumbotron at the

games or wfp for that matter i know

some people that were on the jumbotron and

wfp just throwing that out there yeah i

don't yeah i just don't get it dude

i i'm i am actively working to make

the games next year and i wish to

god

Drug test me.

Please drug test me.

CrossFit, come on.

Come out and send somebody over.

Right now.

And drug test me.

By all means.

Please do.

I don't understand the mentality behind

it, and I never will.

I got a lot of stuff that's not

CrossFit,

but I wanted to get your take on

one thing, and then we'll move off.

Sure.

Yesterday I talked about how Patrick

Wilson competed in the D.C.

High Rocks.

Really?

Really.

And before the weekend was over high rocks

had a real put together of Patrick

Wilson's performance at their high rocks.

And he collaborated with his eight hundred

thousand followers as one would when

you're jacked and fit and doing all the

stuff.

And yet CrossFit still has not done one

thing about him.

Not even sharing those perfect cleans on

Cape Fear with the world.

This is my own surprise phase.

Yeah.

That tracks.

That absolutely tracks.

But we're the problem.

But we are the arbiters of truth.

yeah you understand but we're the problem

so one of the funny comments i got

back uh from because i posted a reel

about it and high rocks i think there's

their media person wrote back yeah we flip

this stuff like pancakes yeah as they

should why wouldn't you good night dude

like

You got one of the all-time great soccer

players of the world, Zlatan Ibrahimovic,

doing CrossFit actively,

posting reels himself on his own page.

Why wouldn't you reach out to him?

Hey, man, can we do something together?

Why wouldn't you do that?

Everybody else knows.

Everybody in the space already knows,

right?

So if you want to reach out to

some other people, a.k.a.

soccer players,

which is the most popular sport on the

planet,

you go ask any football or soccer player

whose Latin is, they know who he is.

Hey, by the way,

now that he's retired from football,

he does CrossFit.

Here's some stuff of him doing CrossFit.

Well, shit, maybe I should do CrossFit.

so in all fairness uh to give the

other side of this and not to be

the arbiter of truth um dave did say

on his week in review that they have

reached out to some of the hollywood

people they have reached out to other

famous people and like they tried to reach

out to tom holland have not been able

to connect with him and that they have

reached out to other people and sometimes

there's a cost associated with doing

business with them even though they're

doing crossfit

So he said that in his week in

review yesterday.

Just want to make sure that we are

not just the arbiters of truth,

but that we show the other side as

well.

I would imagine Tom Holland's probably

fairly difficult to get a hold of.

He's one of the most famous people on

the planet right now.

Yeah,

it's one of those our people will reach

out to your people.

Yeah, have my people get with your people.

Um, like a man workout guy.

Yes.

So Ken Walter said this, uh, we actually,

I talked about this yesterday as well.

Um,

Will Plummer has been working with that

IndyCar team for two years.

Yes.

Yes.

And we are just now getting two years

later getting, this is just crazy.

a prime example of how slow CrossFit HQ

is to act on these opportunities.

What you want from these are people who

have large reaches outside of your box.

So when Patrick Wilson contributes to a

High Rocks video and his eight hundred

followers who probably a vast majority of

them do not follow High Rocks,

now see what High Rocks is.

Oh, he just did that?

That looks like fun.

Maybe I should do one of those.

Like it's a natural progression.

Like it's a natural train of thought,

especially for people who are like super

fans,

people who are obsessed over these guys.

Because everything that CrossFit is

putting out right now is within our own

algorithm.

Yeah.

You're hitting all the hits over and over

again.

All the people that are already here.

And you're not getting outside of that

bubble.

And that is the part,

that is the problem with the media

marketing arm of CrossFit right now.

It's the same,

it's along the same vein of watching the

CrossFit games and then on a break getting

commercial for to go join a CrossFit

affiliate.

Like that,

it's you're selling snow to Eskimos.

Here you go.

You need some more cold stuff because I

know you have some already,

but here are some more in case you

didn't know.

We're not the ones who need it.

Chances are better not.

If you're watching the CrossFit games,

you are well aware of what CrossFit is.

same it's it's it's a parallel right there

like you're you're just staying

encapsulated inside of all this stuff

instead of actually trying to reach out

and get the word out to people on

the street random folks i don't get it

um a collab with a streamer that has

ten k followers can cost up to four

k and they're just random streamers yeah

but patrick wilson collabed with high

rocks

probably because he's proud of what he's

been able to accomplish.

It looks good.

Every post, you know, this Ortega,

you go to an event and you take

video of someone, you make a reel,

you immediately ask for them to collab

with it.

Maybe they say no, and that's fine.

You just move on.

But if they say yes,

you're reaching a whole nother demographic

with your content.

wild how that works.

Yeah.

What, what's, what's, what's great.

Oh, ironic at this point.

Hey, Ortega,

I'll come at you if I want to

come at you.

What's, uh,

What's sort of ironic is like one of

the things as a coach that you talk

about is skill transfer, right?

You get good at this,

then it can make you good at this.

So if you are hitting these notes,

then maybe you should get out and it'll

make you also good at this stuff.

And like,

that's the stuff we should be preaching to

other people.

And by doing that, like reaching out,

collabing with these other people, hey,

these other people actually do CrossFit

that you are following because of X, Y,

Z, whatever reason, right?

It becomes organic at that point.

You don't have to place the prison on

planet bullshit.

Oh, Hot Rocks is selling.

They already sold, Barry.

They were bought by the original founders.

So the original founders sold it and then

bought it back?

Yeah.

They sold it to another party,

and now they've already bought it back.

That's kind of weird.

I mean, is that not weird?

That sounds weird.

It's like if Greg would come back tomorrow

and be like, you know what?

I'm going to buy this thing back,

which is not going to happen, FYI.

Right,

but like Barstool Sports got bought back

by its founder.

I cannot tell you how much I do

not give a shit about Barstool Sports,

other than the fact that T-Bob A-Bear is

on it.

That's about as much as I know about

it.

I like Big Cat, but regardless,

it got bought back by the owner.

Scott's hit list, one LeVar Burton,

two Ortega.

You know it.

It's a fact.

Reading Rainbow this bitch.

I show you,

I'm going to give you that reading.

Rainbow, boom.

Oh, eating the reading rainbows.

Reading rainbows.

I give you a reading rainbow, bitch.

Come on.

Throw them elbows.

Oh, let's not talk about Michigan.

I'm saving all the Michigan stuff for Yay

Sports tonight at six p.m.

Eastern time.

Oh, it is Tuesday.

But I do have to bring up the

LSU thing because you are an LSU fan.

Your son goes to LSU.

He does.

You are...

So,

I saw this morning that the SEC presidents

are meeting to determine whether they're

going to expel LSU from the SEC.

To try to add to their lawsuit to

seek an injunction against Lane Kiffin and

LSU to try to expel them from the

SEC.

You know who one of the founding members

of the SEC was?

I'm going to give you one guess.

You're probably not going to need more

than one.

So they filed that amendment in the

lawsuit,

but the presidents are also meeting to

take a vote on whether or not to

expel them.

My question is,

he hasn't done anything wrong yet, has he?

None of the pro players are on the

roster.

None of the pro players have played.

No.

Guess what?

Even better.

It's because it's Lane and it's because

it's LSU.

Right?

Because it's,

we're not the only school that was looking

to do that.

There was a shit ton of them.

I don't, I don't get it.

Like we are in our villain phase right

now, apparently,

and we are fully embracing it with that

fifty one to ten ass whipping over Clemson

over the weekend because he didn't let it

all, he did not let off the gas.

And I don't know if you noticed or

not,

but at the end of his post-game press

conference,

he was upset about the third string

defense letting Clemson score.

Third string.

He was like, no, that never should happen.

But here's the thing.

When all of this,

and we talked about this a million times,

as soon as NIL money got involved,

started being able to pay players, wild,

wacky,

Wild West type stuff started happening.

And they are mad at him for whatever

reason.

Because why?

Because he left Ole Miss and went to

LSU,

stayed in the SEC somewhere where he

thought he could win a national

championship and possibly build a dynasty?

Okay.

I don't understand it.

I really, really don't.

They're singling one team or one program

out, and I don't get it.

Lane is the iron cheek.

Not wrong.

This is what they should do in all

reality.

Just leave.

Here's our letter of resignation.

Don't even vote.

We are going to secede from the SEC.

And we're going to be Notre Dame part

two.

And we're going to go independent.

And we are going to become the bad

boys of college football.

And we will have no conference leadership

to tell us what we can and cannot

do.

And we all know that the NCAA has

no authority over anything anymore.

So we'll just be the wild outlaws of

college football.

We're going to change our uniform colors

to black and purple.

And we are going to bury everybody by

fifty points.

what's wild about that is that and that's

that obviously that's hilarious it's not

going to happen but i'm that is another

that i know that facetiousness does not

play on the show but that is what

that was here's the thing about that

though right so so so let's roll with

it like that let's say that that happens

next week all of a sudden hey we're

no longer in the sec cool we're

independents now

And right now, like you said,

the NCAA is like a wet noodle.

They have absolutely no authority over

anything because it's all going to judges

and arbitration.

You don't think that Louisiana has enough

judges all the way up to the federal

level to just go ahead and rule every

time we need something ruled and be like,

oh, no, no, they can play.

We said so.

It's fine.

Like, you're playing with fire, dude.

I do not understand that.

It's bananas.

And, yes,

Mark Phillips is absolutely correct.

It's all just posturing.

It's them coming out and saying, well,

we're going to see if we can get

them out of the SEC.

You're not getting us out of the SEC.

Good luck.

Like,

that would be tied up in courts and

judges until the end of time.

It's how low a priority that's going to

be on everybody.

Well,

at least as long as it takes for

Lane Kiffin to leave and go to another

team.

Probably about two years.

I'm playing, people.

Dude,

his post-game press conference and in the

leaked halftime speech, you hear that?

He was...

I'll be honest with you, man.

By the time it was thirty something to

nothing,

I it was I shut her down and

it's like I've had enough Lane Kiffin for

the week.

It was thirty one to three at halftime

and in the middle of the third quarter

when I finally went to bed,

it was forty four to three.

And the reason it was forty four to

three is because he went for two.

They missed the two point conversion.

Like you are up by forty one points.

And he was like, let's go for two.

Yeah, let's do that.

I mean, sign me up.

I was I Penn State won a lot

to a little.

I don't know.

Forty eight to nothing.

Forty five.

I can't remember.

It got so out of hand.

I just was like, I don't.

I was enjoying that's what sucks about

college football in week one.

week two, and week three.

Other than like the couple little marquee

matchups,

which we thought was going to be

LSU-Clemson, which was not.

There were so few good games this week.

And then this week we have Ohio

State-Texas,

and then name me another decent matchup.

I'm glad football's back, but good God,

these are awful games to watch.

Oh, dude,

we got Louisiana Tech this weekend.

Yeah.

It's going to be another bloodbath.

It's going to be absolutely insane because

Kiffin's not taking his foot off the gas.

Like, no,

we're going to score some points.

We're going to run up the score.

We're going to call it what it is.

We're going to run up the score.

We're going to make it.

It's going to be ugly every single game.

I'm trying to get the boys ready because

the following week, we go to Ole Miss.

Techno sweater.

Ole Miss game was good.

It was.

We had two good games.

We had the Ole Miss game and we

had the Michigan game,

which we're going to talk about tonight.

And then last night's game,

when there was power,

last night's game was a decent finish as

well.

Those memes are fantastic as well.

Like the dude standing there in front of

the board after the power went out.

And then apparently somebody was drunk and

ran into a post or something like that.

And the power was out at the stadium

behind him.

It's fantastic.

So I used to live in Tallahassee.

that just i mean as much as that

city loves that university and that how

the hell does the power go out at

florida state on game day for all intents

yeah like they just renovated the stadium

like a year or two ago i didn't

know that really yeah it's way worse it's

like all new stuff

That's way worse.

That's so much worse.

Wayne went back to the Eisenhower

administration.

It's all been downhill for Louisiana Tech

since Bradshaw graduated.

Yep.

You know how long ago that was?

Terry Bradshaw.

I was not alive when Bradshaw graduated

from La Tech.

Nope.

And I'm old as hell.

That's fantastic.

Somebody said somebody's USC attendance

was hilarious.

Like hilariously bad.

There's like nine people at the USC.

Week one, the last week was better.

But the first week was pretty pathetic.

Yeah, it was like twenty five people.

And most of those were like homeless

people putting away the boards for this

mansion.

And that was mostly like the homeless

people they found outside of the stadium.

Like you guys want to come watch a

football game.

You come sit down for a little bit.

So you're telling me it looked like the

CrossFit games?

A hundred percent.

Oh, that's funny.

You've been alive since the early nineteen

hundreds.

I don't believe you.

I've never met Jeremy in person.

The first time I do,

it's about to go down.

We may need to charge pay-per-view.

Like Sheriff Buford T. Justice.

When I get home,

I'm going to punch your mama right in

the mouth.

Same thing for Jeremy.

The last thing I wanted to leave you

with,

last week we talked about the best

entrances in college football.

yep and you dogged me but i have

two new entries after watching football

this weekend all right this is for meg

my daughter went to the montana state game

and she talked about that and none of

us know who montana state is they won

a national championship whatever division

they are but it's lower than division one

so nobody cares right except for meg and

her brother who's the special teams coach

and the nine people who go to the

games

It's way more than nine.

My daughter was there on Saturday.

They come out on horseback with flags.

It looks like a damn rodeo,

which is appropriate for Montana State.

It was pretty cool.

My daughter took video of it while she

was there.

But the new entry for me now is

now that Indiana has the national

championship and all the money,

their mascot came in in an IndyCar.

That's different.

That was pretty cool.

Yeah, I would say so.

I would say so.

That's different.

Yeah.

I'd be scared to death.

It would tear the grass up,

like just driving it on the field.

That's why.

One, they use slicks, so there's no tread.

Well, I get that,

but that's almost worse because they're

sticky.

And two,

I don't think it was a real turbo

engine thing.

Because the guy was in full costume.

Well, if not,

then they missed a damn good opportunity.

Oh, here we go.

Montana's better than Montana State.

Here we go.

Now the Montana haters come out.

Come out of nowhere.

A week from tomorrow, I'll be in Montana.

Oh, yeah?

Yeah.

So eight days, Montana.

Hold up for a second.

Joey,

are we talking about Notre Dame playing a

power five conference schedule?

I would like you to explain to me

how they played like William and Mary

college every year and or lady of the

deaf and blind and whoever else Notre Dame

actually plays and explain to me how they

play a power five schedule.

They play like nine teams from the ACC.

Cool.

It's real powerful at that point.

I understand ACC is technically a Power

Five conference,

but Notre Dame is overrated.

I need to correct something real quick.

Scott's hit list edition.

It's actually LeVar Burton won,

Jeremy two, Ortega's moved on to three.

Ortega's now in third place.

Yeah.

Jeremy has jumped Ortega for the number

two spot.

So let's just,

I want to make sure that, you know,

I'm the arbiter of truth.

I want to make sure that we are

saying things correctly.

Here we go.

Damn it.

I can't get it.

While you're doing that.

That's not.

No.

Barry,

I'm still mad Notre Dame changed their

Fighting Irish logo.

I didn't know that,

but I hate when classic college football

teams change their uniforms.

Yeah,

I'm not a big fan of it either.

Notre Dame is blue with the white numbers,

not the gold, sparkly,

bedazzled numbers that they wore the other

night.

It just looks dumb.

This is the one I was looking for.

I went to Appalachian State when they beat

Michigan.

Montana was their big playoff rival.

Okay.

All right.

Take it like, hell yeah, I'm in third.

What was that?

Oh, talking about uniforms.

So Tulane, which is in New Orleans, right?

Not exactly a real ball house.

Nobody cares about, okay.

No, but their uniforms for this year,

I think it's their home one,

it's white and they got purple, green,

and gold Mardi Gras colors.

And ordinarily, I'd be like, really?

Because those colors are absolutely

ridiculous.

And I live here.

But whoever designed their uniform should

be in charge of most other people's

uniforms as well,

because they actually look fantastic.

And they got like a Bourbon Street street

sign on them and like Mardi Gras shit

and whatnot.

But it's not over gaudy and overdone.

Right.

It's not sparkly,

sparkly gold bedazzled numbers and

whatnot.

Good job, Tulane.

It was actually refreshing to see Oregon

go back to their old uniforms.

Every year, dude,

like Oregon's biggest claim to fame for

half the year is like,

look at all our cool third and sixth

and forty-seventh uniforms.

They wear a different uniform for every

game.

Yeah,

because Nike is two seconds down the road

and they just come over here and just

drop shit all over.

And Phil Knight just drops a billion here,

a billion there on his way over to

the stadium.

Exactly.

Yeah.

Did you see the up-closed pictures of

Freeman's hairline?

I did not.

It looks like he took shoe black.

You know what I mean?

Like LeBron used to do?

Yes,

and just went all the way because he

was sweating and it looked like it was

running down the side of his face.

I'm like, man, just use a Sharpie.

Sharpie doesn't bleed.

I'm not sure if the Sharpie would have

helped that much, to be honest with you.

Just didn't look that great.

Oh,

Marcus Freeman just said in the podcast he

uses it, and if it rains,

he's going to wear a hat.

All right, well, there we go.

Is that how it's pronounced, Tulane?

There's actually used to be a furniture

store in New Orleans.

Everybody from South Louisiana know that

over the age of probably me.

I forget what the name of the store

was,

but everybody knows the jingle because it

goes, Eighteen, twenty-five, two lane.

So, yes.

Pencil, pen, or sharpie,

my man said sharpie.

I'm just picturing Linda Mira like.

Get all this a little bit cleared in.

Marcus Freeman, if you're watching this,

I'm sure you are.

You need the chisel tip if you're going

to do it for your hairline.

Yeah, obviously.

You can't do the little point, man.

That'll take you like all day.

I'll just be there for two hours just

trying to fill it all in.

Marcus Freeman,

I know you're watching the show.

Rosenberg's.

Yes, Mark.

That is correct.

rose and birds rose and berries like a

little girl singing which sounds just like

me uh marcus freeman i know you're

watching um or listening later on on the

podcast because i mean let's be honest

we're number one up in up in that

area of the world just shave your head

my brother it'll probably be a better look

he's not such a black yes oh see

like martin the mark knows

openly discussed it's crisp hairline black

magic.

Oh my word.

I didn't know Mike Tomlin used it.

There we go.

Well,

cause Mike Tomlin's usually got a hat on.

Yeah.

But now he's on NBC,

so we'll get to see it all.

Oh.

How do you think Tomlin feels about being

called out in a podcast?

Probably not great.

Probably not great.

Well, Mike woke up this morning and went,

hold up.

Why are we talking about me?

What the hell, dude?

That's messed up.

I think this is Marcus Freeman's quote.

This show is the arbiter of truth.

We are the arbitrary truth.

All right.

I'm going to go before Jeremy moves up

to number one.

He's working on it.

I don't think he's going to be able

to beat LeVar Burton,

to be honest with you.

Take a long time to beat LeVar Burton.

Take a long time.

How about taking us out, Vicky?

You wouldn't wait to get to the editing

room to jazz me up.

I'm already jazzy.
