Like that was, that was another thing on my list is time. Okay. Yes. Time management. Yeah, time. Because there's not much of it. I mean, we don't get much of it anyway. Right. From the time you're born to the time you're right. Well, we spend, you know, a quarter of our life sleeping Right. A third of our life.
Sleeping a third. Yeah. You know, and, and time is so valuable. It's the one thing you can't buy. Right. You can't, you know, it doesn't matter how famous you are, you're not gonna be given any more of it. Right. It doesn't matter who you are. Yeah. You got time. You got this much time. Yeah. So whatever you do with that time, that's it.
That's what you leave behind, that's your legacy, right? Yeah. So the time thing was big for me too, because I'm like, I wasted so much time, like when I look back mm-hmm. How much time I've wasted on, you know, either the wrong businesses or wrong, you know? Yeah. Uh, people or whatever. Yep. You know what I mean?
And you just go, man, if I could just get them back, you know? Mm-hmm. And you can't, you can't get it back. So, but what you can do is you can learn, like for me, I was like, all right, obviously I can't get it back. So the only other thing I can do is say, okay, I'm gonna take that time that I gave away mm-hmm.
That I lost, and I'm gonna learn every bit of lesson that was during that time. Yeah. And I'm gonna make sure to not repeat that. Yeah. So I can make the time that I have left, whether it's 50 years, make it count, whether it's 10 years, whatever it is. Yeah. Make it count so that when it's time for me to check out, or whenever time that is, I'm coming home, that I don't feel like, oh man, yeah.
I just, if I would've just done that, if I would've done that, you know what I mean?
Holy shit. Yes, sir. Back at it. I can't even believe. Like how many April was the last one? April 13th. Holy, we miss y'all. For real. I get people asking me all the time, what's up with the podcast? Oh man. People are like, you guys stop doing it. I'm like, no, no. Like I, like we said earlier, I said, life, life be life.
And so sometimes you gotta step away. Um, re everything. I had to, I've been through so many ups and downs in the last, I guess it's been six or seven months. And, um, I'm just grateful. Like I, I really had to buckle down and focus on my health. I feel really good. Got my inflammation under control. Yep. Just all the, everything's, you know, ticking the boxes.
So it just feels really good to get back at this right here. I really, really love, you know, coming in here, doing this is like a type of release. Therapy. You know what I'm saying? So it's very, very therapeutic. We say, we say that all the time, man. Yeah, yeah. So we say it's therapy all the time. Yeah. So, I'm glad to be back.
I know, I know. I just, I was just, just telling Ja uh, chase, I was like, this is the launching edition Yes. Episode right here. Well, as you know, and I know that 2026 is the year of the horse. That's the year, bro. And, um, you're born August 27th. I'm born August 30th. Both of our, it's kind of crazy 'cause we didn't even know this until a few months ago.
You know, we're both born, born under the Yeah. The Chinese, uh, astrology, the, the sign of the horse. Yep. And, uh, next year is our year, next year for me, I turn 60, and so I'm a fire horse. Yeah. And next, you know, every 60, every 60 years is the new cycle. Yeah. Yeah. So I can't, I can't even accomplish it. Like, just, it's really, it's really hard to fathom.
But, uh, like I say, 60 years on this earth and all the ups and downs and the things that I've been through to get me to this point, experiences and to be, you know, have the wisdom from all the. The, the, the wins and the losses, the losses, the lessons, and, um, just to be like whole, like, you know, all, you know, as you, as you know, going through being a, in a, you know, bodybuilding career, you know, 35 years of bodybuilding, bodybuilding, it, it, it personifies health, but it's not the healthiest thing in the world.
Mm-hmm. So if you're not actually doing the things to, I call 'em countermeasures. Yeah. The things to, to, to, um, counteract the things that is required to reach that level of, of achievement. Yeah. Um, a lot of people don't make it out whole. And I'm grateful, you know, a lot of our, a lot of people aren't here anymore.
A lot of people are broken and, and bent. You know what I mean? And so, like I say, my approach from the very, very beginning was to. Um, keep it art, number one. Mm-hmm. But then once I actually turned pro, I realized, you know, I'm 36 years old turning, turning pro, which is retirement age for most athletes. And so focusing on my health and being healthy, uh, was definitely my priority.
And to, um, be able to experience all the things with all relationships with the doctors and the clinics and yeah. All the coaches and whatnot. And so to learn all that and stuff, and now being able to represent that mm-hmm. And then also help other people with our coaching business. Yeah. The coaching thing is gonna be big man, because, you know, you, you know, when you have so many people come to you and say, Hey man, I'm doing this.
What do you think about it? Right? I mean, you're giving advice out all the time, but then you're like, okay, I'm giving advice to my circle. Right. Which is cool, but man, if these 20 people are asking me the same thing. Yep. There's probably 2 million people that probably are, are wondering the same thing. You know what I mean?
Like 100%. And so, and like I was telling you before, man, uh, when I was telling the to, uh, MJ at the, at the gym mm-hmm. He was, I mean, right off the bat, you know, I said, you know, Tony's my business partner with all this stuff and we're doing Pocket. He was like, oh man, Tony's like a encyclopedia, like a wealth of knowledge.
You can't, you know what I mean? Who's who? Better to tell you, especially with him, 'cause he's, he's got a big following, right? Yeah. He's got over a million. Yeah, he does, he's got over a million people. Follow. Yeah. Yeah. But you know, his, his whole thing is the same thing. You know, he's doing his workout videos and things like that and.
You know, when you guys did the video together, working out, you were teaching them all this stuff and you were barely using weight because I watched it. Yeah. Yeah. You guys were using like lightweights and they're so used to lifting heavy. Yep. And they were like dead. Yep. You know what I mean? So when it comes to that, and what I try to teach people now is, you know, of course when you're young, you know what I'm saying, you can get away with a lot of stuff in the gym.
Yeah. You know, your, your tendons and ligaments are very pliable strong. Yeah. But once you get into thirties and forties and fifties, you know, things could snap at any, any given moment. They do. So they do snap my, my training philosophy then, which I didn't realize it then it kind of created it along the way, but now it's, it's feel, how does it feel?
What is the form? How do you exercise it? Right? And what's the function of the muscles that you're training? So when you put all three of those things together, it ends up being different. Like I say, I see people lifting crazy amounts, weight. This is, one guy comes in the gym and I think he's in the medical field 'cause he always comes in and scrubs, scrubs him.
But dude, he's like, he, he's has to be, I guess in his thirties, maybe early forties, but he's over there squatting 4 0 5. And I remember how I used to squat 4 0 5, like it was lunch all the way down, you know, sets of 20, no problem. And I'm just like, I can't even imagine feeling that on my back right now. So I had to like, revamp everything to, to fit what's going on now in my life.
And, and when I, when I start to help people, most people they set out with a goal. I wanna lose 40 pounds or I want to whatever, get the 10% body fat. And what I've learned is to teach people how to start where they are and then plot out a course instead of, you know, like most people when it comes to like New Year's resolutions was coming up.
You know, they, they look at the goal and you end up crashing and burning before you even get there. Because like I say, you have to, it's like GPS you have to, your current location is what's most important. And commitment is really important too. 'cause you know, a lot of people, they, they do that New Year's resolution thing and then they fall off like two months later.
You know, if that's two weeks later. If, if I'm saying I'm being, I'm being generous. Yeah, yeah. I know you are. They're really dedicated ones two, two months, you know what I mean? And they're like, bro, I don't know what happened, you know, life this and that. Like, but that's why I keep telling people, I'm like, listen, I can tell you what to do.
Yep. I can, you know, tell you exactly what to do, but you gotta do it. Yep. If you like, I can't do it for you. Yep. I can tell you what you do. Yep. And then it's on you. Yeah. And if, if it doesn't work out, it's 'cause it's you, you gotta be disciplined. Well, I, I, one of my skills or one of my, um, strong points is creating programs for people.
That they can actually accomplish. Right? Like my coach used to tell me, realistic, the greatest, the best program in the world is the one that you'll actually do. Right. You know? 'cause you, you know, on paper it looks amazing, but if you can't check the boxes every day and be consistent right, then you're not gonna get the result.
God damn. That's, that's some wisdom right there, man. That I'm telling you. Like, and it's so logical. Yes. But it's so logical. You know, logic is, you know, common sense and logic is a little short to supply these days. Yeah. Right. Nobody has it. Everybody's like, lemme go look on my phone. Lemme try. Ask Chad GPT what I should do.
You our, let's start with our subject Yeah. Is peptides. Yeah. And, you know, peptides, most, most peptides now are research. So everybody's experimenting. Yeah. Everybody's trial and error and you know, learning how to, um, figure out what the dosage is and understand what they are and how they work. I won't get into that.
Now you can do your own research. That's the key to, like, in other words, using enough, not using too much what you mix with, making sure that the It's quality, the quality is correct. Right. So having the correct source. And so I like to coach people or speak from experience. Mm-hmm. So there's a couple of things.
You know, I talk about, um, rta, Tru Tide. Oh man. Um, you know, I, I'm not trying to lose weight. I'm not trying to not be hungry. Right, right. You know what I'm saying? Right. But if I'm helping people, coaching people, and they, they choose, they want to take that, then I want, I wanted to experience it myself.
Right. So I started doing a little light dose like half a milligram a week, which is really nothing. No. But like I say, all I want is the anti-aging benefits of it. Mm-hmm. You know, I'm not trying to do, you know, uh, I, I definitely, like I said, I definitely want, don't wanna mess with my, um, gut health, my motility.
Right. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. And um, and like I say, it's, it's, it's crazy 'cause it's very powerful that even that little half a milligram. Yeah. Which, which is crazy 'cause the manufacturers, you know, like the, you know, the Eli Lilly's doing doing the, doing, they, they're the ones that are pushing Right. Loretta to go get approval and all that stuff.
But they say start with two milligrams a week. I couldn't even imagine. That's so much, man. That's why I, I tell everybody, don't start with two. Don't. I mean, last night end we went to go eat. Yeah. And like halfway through the appetizers, I was, you were, man, I'm kind of fool already. Like, so, um, you know, I, I always try to get away with the least amount possible.
Right. The least amount of cardio, the least amount of weight, the least amount of everything to get the result that I'm after. 'cause really that's what I'm after the result, the results. I'm not really tracking the numbers to be impressive to somebody else. Right. I want the actual result. Yeah. And you know, like, like the, I want they say live to play another day.
You know what I'm saying? Yeah. Like, you know, if I go in the gym and I start trying to. Bench three 15, I'm going back, be back in the yard again. You know what I'm saying? So, you know, there's a lot of strong people out there, and I always tell people, you know, don't eat all you can eat. Don't take all you can take, don't lift all you can lift, have some kind of temperance or moderation, and then work your way up.
So titrate yourself. Yeah. I got so, uh, you remember Carter? Um, he, he came when we did the video at the gym. When we did the workout. Yeah, yeah. He came over there? Yeah, he had Oh, the guy, the white kid. Yeah, yeah, yeah. So, and by the way, that's not racist. He's just, he's white. That's why he say white kid. Yeah.
'cause if he had to said white skinned dude, he would be like, who talking? But, uh, you know, like, so we'll go work out and, you know, he is like 22, 23 years old, you know, he is young, so he'll get under there 4 0 5, you know, and do it. And, you know, and it, it's like a mental thing, right? Yeah. Like in the gym, he wants to go.
Like he even said the other day, he was like. Sometimes I go to one life fitness 'cause he works at a icon with us. Right. He's like, sometimes I'll go to one life and I'll just do bench press and then I'll leave. Yeah. He's like, I'll just go in there and get 4 0 5 for, you know, and then I'll be gone. Well, you know, and we call that ego training for a reason.
I have a client, um, the guy that does details my cars, uh, he, his goal is to be able to deadlift 500 Uhhuh. Right. So, you know, I'm coaching him now in his garage. Yeah. And he can already do probably 500, but his form needed a lot of work. Oh, okay. He used a lot of lower back and I'm trying to deprogram him 'cause he's already strong.
Right. I said, bro, you, you probably gonna already do it with no problem. Yeah. I said, but you know, you're setting yourself up for injury because you're form. I mean, it doesn't suck anymore, but initially it sucked. I mean, his, you know, back has that, the hump backing, I mean, he's using all back and I'm showing him how to, how to do it properly.
Yeah. And he was like, man, your, your form is like textbook. I said, because I don't, I couldn't afford to hurt myself even though I had a couple of nicks and injuries. You know, when you do this as a profession, you gotta stay healthy. Like the availability is the best. That's the best attribute. That's why you compet so much.
Yes. You were able to, A lot of these guys, they couldn't. Yeah. They do like one or two shows a year because that's it. And I'm teaching them how to lift deadlift with his legs properly first. You know, and I'm like, as you start to stand up Yeah. Then you can kick in the lower body. Right. But your glutes and your, your glutes and your quads have to do most of that initial, the first few inches off the ground.
Yeah. You're not utilizing that. And you're using all back. Yeah. You're setting yourself up for failure. His mom. Can't even watch him train. She, I, I spoke with her the other night and she was just like, I just can't watch it. I can't watch because she knows, you know, proper, proper one, wrong move, but you, you know, 500 pounds, one wrong rule.
That's it. And like I say, he's manhandling weights, and I have to tell these young bucks, there's only one element that can overcome or outdo these weights. And that's water. Yeah. A bucket of water is about the only thing that can hurt that iron. So if you are in the gym thinking that you're gonna dominate some steel, yeah.
Oh, you got another thing coming. Yeah. You be, you gonna learn the hard way. Yeah. Is, does Nico, uh, he, does he lift heavy or he doesn't? Nico lifts heavy because heavy. Heavy. His relative. Yeah. Um, Nico is very gifted number one. Yeah. You know? Yeah. Hey, hey. And, uh, but his form, you know, he has a master's degree Yeah.
In, um, biomechanics and exercise science. So he, so he's perfect. He is all about the textbook. Right. And then you add his genetics and work ethic to it. You know, he squats 500 pounds for, you know, five or whatever. Yeah. And I'm just like, wow. He could. He could do the things that I used to do. Yeah. But just better, just more textbook.
Perfect. But you know, he's from you, so you Yeah. You're proud. You like, that's okay. You're sorry. I'm more than proud. I'm a fan. Like, you know, when I, you know, I follow them, you know, uh, coach Nico Freeman and Kiara the leader following on Instagram. Yeah. Yeah. But, um, when I, when I just observe him, you know, so we were having a, uh, a football combine.
Yeah. And so we had, I don't know, we had five or six athletes and, and we're trying to get him to do the, the, um, vertical jump, uh, and the broad jump. So he's demonstrating Right. Right. Why, why you in the league, man Now he's, he's 30, 36 years old. Yeah. Yeah. He just turned 36. So he's demonstrating each move.
Right. Okay. So he goes to demonstrate the standing broad jump. Right. Just like straight cold, not training for not warmed up. Yeah. Uh, 11 eight. P. Right. Just, just bam. And then we go over to the vertical jump, right? He jumps 43 and a half, just the first time, just cold. Just showing them how to do it. Not saying focused, saying he's so explosive in, so it's like mind by everybody's like, wow.
These people are like, oh, guess I don't need to be here. I'm my thing. Keeps digging. That's right. See, it's, it's, uh, that is so maybe when I close it back, it it back on. I might have to give it a chase so you can hack into your phone quick. It's all good. I think I got it. But, um, yeah, so watching him, it's amazing.
Yeah. And to, you know, watching his wife, they, congratulations. They're actually expecting their fourth. Another one man. He's building a, a football team, I think, right? I think so. What's going on? Basketball team first. Yeah. But he's, he's like, now he's going into football. He's, he's one short of a full basketball team.
And, um, they're hoping for a girl. But just knowing our genetics is probably gonna be, that's probably be, probably gonna be another boy. Oh, man. Yeah. Yeah. That's probably, tell him to do a little test. It'll, it'll turn into a girl. Well, it's probably too late now, but, well, that's what I was, I was watching on YouTube this morning and that's what, uh, Palumbo was talking about.
Oh, it's Ronnie Coleman. Ronnie has all, he has eight girls. Yeah. 'cause Ronnie was running 15 grams of testosterone a week and like, you know, so his male sperm was petered out, but the female one's made, I guess. Yeah, that's, and, and I've read that, I've, there's actually studies on that that men that have a lot of testosterone Right.
Usually have girls. Wow. Which is, which is crazy. Which makes sense. 'cause a lot of body bills. How many body bills do you know, have, have girls? A lot. A lot of 'em A lot, right? Yeah. Yeah, yeah. Yeah. That's like a real thing. Wow. Biology man. Yep. Biology. Well, no, I mean, that's, that's amazing. Congrats to him. Um, and man, when I, when I look at their family, I mean, you're like, what better example can you show people, like, you know, Hey, you wanna have a family?
Here you go. When I, when I, that's what it looks like when they first got together, um, you know, and they, and they consummated and they became a couple Yeah. She, uh, Kiara, I love her to death. She immediately multiplied him. You know what I'm saying? That's, and like the, the first commandment, you know, people focus on the 10 commandment, but the first commandment is be fruitful and multiply.
Yeah. That's the first thing God told Adam and Eve to do. Yeah. Yeah. Is be fruitful and multiply when you find the right partner. Yep. And I, you know, coming up into church, you know, they used to talk about being equally yolk or unequally. Yolk, and I never really knew what that meant. Like what does that mean?
It's, it's so many things involved in that, but like I say, they compliment each other so well. Yeah, they're both athletes, they're both students of the game. They're both, you know, good looking marketing wise and all that type of stuff. So it's just a really amazing thing to watch. Well, I can tell you, um, she coming into his life.
Like you said, I mean his, his purpose was multiplied. Yeah, exactly. Only because of her presence. Yeah. Which is crazy, man. Yeah, yeah. That's what we talking about. I'm like, listen, if you're gonna be with somebody, find somebody who's gonna multiply your Yeah. Your purpose. Yeah. You know, I mean Exactly. And do the same for that other person.
You know what I Exactly. That's how it's supposed to go. And you could just tell, that's what I'm saying as an example, you, that's what happened. They just, they got, they got locked in and then they were like, alright, I'm, I got your back. Yeah. You know, I'm gonna be your best spotter. Yeah. So my grand babies, you know, they, they were born all, were born in the living room.
Right. Natural birth. Right. And um, it's so amazing to see how smart is really not the word intelligent is more mm-hmm. You know what I'm saying? Like. Um, Titan, the oldest one, even from two or three years old, he was, you know, he could, he could name the days of the week count to 20, you know, do all knew all the shapes.
I'll never forget they was, they was doing shapes in the driveway and he was like, parallelogram. I was just like, what? How do you even know that word? But it's just crazy. The difference. Yeah. And so we got Onyx, who's the middle kid? Onyx is like a, he's like a wrestler. I mean, it's a trip how he's like the rough houser.
Oh, is he? And, yep. And then we got the, the new and legend, you know, legend is the youngest and, and, uh, my wife spent the most time with him. I hadn't had a whole, whole lot of time with him. Yeah. So the last time I went over there to, to visit, I made, uh, a cookie brownie. Okay. Right. Yeah. I like to bake, so I made a cookie brownie, and I don't think he's ever had a chocolate chip cookie before because they eat, you know, you, they ask for their food.
They's like, I want salmon and rice, I want meat and rice, I want broccoli, didn't you? I'm saying, yeah, bro, like broccoli. They eat all that, that healthy stuff, and is, I'm very proud of them for that. But I brought 'em a treat. Yeah. And, um, so I'm trying to get legend to come in. Come on baby. You know, he, you know, he's like, like standoff, like, and so Kiara took a piece of the cookie and she was ate something and then she gave him a little piece and.
Explosion. He just, his, it's like, yes, his eyes just got all crazy and he's, chase, I been missing, he's chasing her around the house with a cookie. So after he had the cookie. So he comes, he comes scooting up next to me. He saw papa tea, you guys, it was so hilarious. 'cause he knew that I made him and brought him over it.
It was hilarious. Man, man. I said, oh, I know how, I know how to get to you. So, so we're doing Thanksgiving over there. Yeah. So I'm a, I'm gonna hook him up with some sweet potato pie. I was say probably do another cookie brownie as well. I was like, bring him some cookies. Yeah. Um, so you got Titan Legend and Onyx.
Yeah. And I, I, I sounds like he's putting the male review together. Man, that's like, to be honest with you, I don't like legit as, as handsome as those young boys are. I don't see no limits. You know, like I say with, you know, genetically Yeah, they're gifted. Yeah. But then they also are following a nutrition regimen.
Well, and look at the example. You know what I'm, yeah, that's what I'm saying. And they're, they're pretty, I'm amazed at how. Organized and scheduled and structured mm-hmm. That they are mm-hmm. With, you know, Nico's a coach at, um, pace Academy. Mm-hmm. She, they have, they have a training business, coaching business.
Mm-hmm. Um, he also, he trains other athletes on the side and they just, I mean, it's just like so amazing to see the structure. He's, I can't wait to have them on, 'cause I gotta give Nico's mom credit. She, she really like, did a really good job making sure that, you know, all the physical stuff mm-hmm. I handled, but all that, that structure, intellectual stuff she handled.
Yeah. So it was really cool. Yeah. Well you guys, I mean, Nico was made out of like pure love. Yeah. Yeah. You know, that whole, that's a, you know, it's funny that situation, how we both were basically pure had never drank or smoke or Right, right. Done anything like that and Yeah. And then to have that relationship and then bring a child into this world and like I tell him, I'm like, man, you got all the good.
Like literally all her best attributes. He got 'em all, all my best attributes. He got 'em all. He's not perfect, of course, but it's just amazing to see in genetics. You know, I'm all about genetics. I'm all about nutrition. You know, I'm, I'm kind of like a mad scientist. Yeah. Um, you know, and like people who, who are trying to have children and there's a lot of infertility going on these days because of our environment and all the other things.
But if you really find somebody that you really love and you wanna, um, you know, put your genetics together, you know, going through the process of cleansing your temple and getting your mental health together, all those things are very important. Yeah. 'cause some people are just randomly having kids, which there's nothing really wrong with that, and that's kind of old school.
But in this day and age, in time, you know, focusing on making sure all those things are in line, it'll definitely give you a better result. You know, it's gotten to a point where, um, relationships have gotten so toxic and bad. Yeah. That. You know, like, I know there's a lot of women men too, but there's a lot of women, uh, that are like, look, I'm good with not even having a man.
I just wanna have a baby. Yeah. Do you know what I mean? Like, it's like, I just, you let me borrowing the mes. Right, right. And, and there's men that are the same way. They're like, listen, I, I just wanna have a baby. I want to, I wanna be able to give what I, what I can give to, to, yeah. You know? Yep. And, and I know that, you know, you can do well as a single parent, but the structure of family, the father figure, the head of the household, the mother, and not just support role, but you know, like I say, like they always say, you know, behind every successful man is a, is a strong, strong woman who keeps that man.
You know, like I said, Kelly was my, like I said, I tell, I tell people all the time, she was my governor. She kept me grounded, you know, as high as I got as the X man and all that. Even when in the diamond ages. Yeah, yeah, yeah. But. She kept me, which is probably more in the, that age probably was even more. She, she always reeled me in.
I never, you know, I never got too full of myself. Yeah. Um, because she always humbled me Yeah. At the drop of a hat. And, um, I really, I, I was watching her walk past me the other day and I was just like, we've been together almost 35 years and I, it's still, that fire is still there. It still is. Everything, all the stuff that we've been through, all the stuff I've taken her through, it's still there.
It just, and it feels so good to be able to say that and, and be for real about it. And be, and it, and it be true. You know what I'm saying? So you actually feel it. It's not just words, the intimacy, everything. Just like, 'cause you've been with somebody for that long, you kind of get well, you get complacent.
Yeah. I don't wanna say you get tired of it, but you get complacent. Right. And you take it for granted. But. It's still fresh. Like it trips me out a little bit because like I say, when I hear and I see there a lot of toxic, toxic stuff out there. Yeah. What women's expect from men and vice versa. Yeah. It's not realistic these days.
It's crazy. And um, so to just have somebody that you can really Yeah. Love, cherish, um, provide for, protect and all that stuff. Yeah. And then get the, get the reciprocation from them. Yeah. I mean, I've noticed, I've noticed how, um, the way relationships go now everybody's a taker. Yes. You know what I mean?
Like, nobody, nobody wants to give, everybody wants to take, remember I told you? Well, how my, my uh, analogy for relationships. It's either a picnic or poker. Oh yeah. Everybody's playing poker. Everybody's playing poker. Everybody's trying to see, you know, see your weaknesses. Yeah. How can I get over what's in it for me?
And like I say, business is business and, and I, I don't mind playing poker. Yeah. As long as everyone's playing poker. Right. You know what I'm saying? And you're on the same team. Like that's the, that's the thing with my mom and dad, you know, they've been together forever too. And with them, you know, they've been through everything.
I had to relocate from another country. Mm-hmm. Come here, learn a new language. Start over with a family. Yep. You know what I mean? Like they went through things that people don't go through. People are here like, oh my God, I can't handle this. I'm like, really? You can't handle what you can't handle. Like going to work.
Right. Getting up early to go to work. Right. That's what you can't handle. Right. Yeah. Can you handle being dropped into another country, having to leave? 'cause there's a war going on. Packing up your family, two little kids, getting on a flight with eight suitcases, going to another country knowing you're not coming back.
Knowing you're not going back and not coming back. And then also not knowing like, am I gonna ever see my family again? These people that are standing behind this glass. Saying bye to me. Mm-hmm. Is this is the last time. Right. You don't know any of that. Right. That is bonding, man. That's what, that's what glues you.
So after that, I can't even imagine, bro. That's, it's so crazy. So when you know somebody goes through that and then that bond is so tight, I mean, normal shit that people all stress out, I gotta go talk to a therapist. Right. Shit like that. And I'm like, what? My parents don't wanna talk to therapy. But you know what they do?
They talk to each other. Make it work. Right. You know what I mean? Like they, and they have, you know, it's like, it's a relationship. It's always work. Yeah. To the end of time. You have to work out. Yeah. Definitely. Like it. I, it is definitely work. Knows work I find myself, um, you know, 'cause my wife's such a hustler, such a go-getter.
Um, I find myself doing things. That I know she don't feel like doing. Yeah. You know what I'm saying? Yeah. And I'm so, so grateful to, to even have this mindset. And like I say, I feel good too. Yeah. That makes it, you know, a lot of people, they only do what they feel like doing, you know what I mean? Yeah. So if you feel bad, then a lot of stuff is going to get pushed under the rug.
Yeah. Yeah. But I feel so good these days that, you know, I jump outta bed, you know, we got, we drive Teslas, so I go, uh, charge the Tesla in the morning 'cause it's the cheapest. And I, and I, and I do my 35 minutes of cardio while the car is charged. Just, just starting my day off and having some structure and all that.
And then, you know, like I say, she's a hustle. She does a lot of stuff. Mm-hmm. And so I try to make sure I pick up the slack. Yeah. You know, I, I pick up after myself. Don't make it so hard on her to where she has to do everything so. Well, that's what I've noticed. You guys, you guys balance each other out, man.
Yeah. You know? 'cause I've known, I've known you for a long time, which means I've known her for a long time. Yeah. But I mean, you just stand on the outside and you, and you look and you're like, okay. I can see why it's over 30 years together. Yeah. Because you know, on your bad days, she's got you. Yeah, she got me on her bad days.
You got her. Like, it's just not, it is, it's not even like something she's gotta tell you. Right? No, you just, you just know. Not anymore anyway. Like a lot, you know, back in the day you're like, what do you mean you upset? I was like, she was like, could you stop leaving dishes and all, you know? Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.
But you know, now I, I, I automatically know. 'cause you know, you talk about people's love language. Yeah. My, my love language is, uh, acts of kindness, acts of service. Right. So I enjoy cooking and I enjoy cooking for people. What I really enjoy is watching their reaction. Yeah. Because, you know what? You, you, you give somebody, you know, something that you just warmed up in a microwave.
You, you, I, I, when I, when I prepare her breakfast, you know what I'm saying? Like, um, I pretty much cook her breakfast almost every day. And she's like, oh, my good. Every, every dime. She's like, oh, wow. 'cause I, I mix it up a little bit. Mm-hmm. And, um, so that type of stuff is what? Well, you, 'cause you take time, man.
Oh, you, you do it right. You know how it's, you know, you, everything's fresh. Yeah. You go to the store, buy it. Yeah. You know what I mean? Like that's the part that's the caring part. Yeah. Because you could just throw something in the microwave. Yeah. I could do instant oatmeal. Right. But no, I don't, I I do the you get the oats.
Yeah. And I put the, the, the fruit in them. Put some chocolate chip Oh. I make it, you know, memorable. Right. You know what I'm saying? You could, you could taste the love. And one thing that I, and the reason why I love cooking so much is my mom used to put so much love in everything she does. Oh, okay. Yeah. I remember our first Thanksgiving after she passed, so she passed on November 12th.
Um, and so Thanksgiving's like two weeks later. Yeah. That first Thanksgiving without her. Oh. I was like, what is this? Like, I don't even, I can't even, it wasn't, it wasn't bad, but it, but you could just, it wasn't Mama Freeman. Oh my goodness. I was just like, I was like, oh my God. That. You know what I'm saying?
Yeah. And so that, that is something that I always like this thing coming up Thanksgiving. Uh, you know, I, I love to, to pour my heart into what I'm cooking. Yeah. And, um, and watch the reaction of people when they Yeah. When they bite into it. Yeah. So. Well, that's good. I mean, that's your, what's her love language?
Kelly's um, you know, I don't, I don't know. I need to ask her prob probably gifts or something. I don't know. And I'm not a, I, I haven't really bought her a lot of gifts. She's so true. It's hard to tell. It's hard to tell. Like, but I know she appreciates the, the things that I do. Right. You know? Right. She's just, she's just my support, you know?
Yeah. Um, she's always had my back even when I didn't really deserve it. Yeah. I'm gonna keep it real. Yeah. She's always had my back. She's always. You know, just been that, that's how you know governor been that support system. That's how you know you can't find another Kelly. Yeah. To be honest with you, when I first met her, you know, I, that was at towards the end of the diamond stage in the beginning of the bodybuilding stage, and I was wilding out.
Mm-hmm. But it was something about her, like all the, when you know, when you're a male dancer, there's a lot of female interaction. Yeah. And when I first, the first time I was with her alone, I was just like, wow. So I felt that peace, like, I actually just wanna hang out with you. I did. I, you know, I felt that peace.
Yeah. You know, most of the time you, when you, after you get done doing, you wanna do, you'd be like, all right, then I holler. You know? Yeah. But it was just her presence. I really, really enjoyed it. Yeah. And even to this day now, we give each other space, you know what I'm saying? Like, I don't, we're not, she's not in my face all the time.
I'm not in her face all the time. She's not smothering you. And so when we get together. It's special. Yeah. And it just little thing, I mean, we hold hands laying in bed or sitting on the couch watching tv. Yeah. Because if she just feels good, see, that's intimacy. Yeah. See people hear intimacy. Yeah. And they think, oh, sex.
Right, right. Yeah. Intimacy is sex. Yeah. It's not, man. Yeah. Sex is just a little portion of intimacy. Yeah. And really the big portion is all the other time. Yeah. Holding hands, hugging them, just coming and sitting next to you while watching clo being close, just feeling them touching you. You know what what I mean?
Yeah. So seeing her without makeup, seeing her, you know, putting on the, her little, throwing on the sweats and walking the dogs, you know what I'm saying? Like, yeah. It doesn't change. It is, it is. You know what I'm saying? Like if she dressed to the nines, I call her Wonder Woman. Yeah. Because she, her figures just, I mean, she looks the same as she did when, when she was a kid, when she was 24.
She got the same little 36, 24, 36, and she puts on her little outfits. I'm like, in my mind, I'm might stay a superhero. Right. She, she, she looks like a superhero to me. Far as just like Right. How she keeps herself together and she'd been through a lot Yeah. Through the whole cancer situation. All, all that.
Yeah. But to, for her to still hold it in the road. You know, like most people when they get married, they get comfortable. Right. You know, they gain weight or whatever it is. Um, you know, I, we talk about relationships and when you first meet someone, you're really meeting their representative. You don't, you don't know enough about 'em to really.
You know, see that, oh, this person's a slob, or this person's an asshole, or whatever. Yeah. So you just go by face value. Right. And that's their representative. That's what they want you to know. Right. But after you get a couple, two, or three decades in there, now it's every little thing. Yeah. You know what I mean?
Yeah. And so, you know things about them. I mean, she knows things about me that no one will ever know and vice versa. Right. And, um, she doesn't judge me. Um, she just, we just, it is just love, you know? Um, I was talking to a friend of mine, he met this girl recently, and I was like, bro, go on a trip. Go like on a week, you know, go, like, go away for a week with her.
Right. And I was like, just pay attention to how things change day by day. Mm-hmm. Every 24 hours that goes by. Mm-hmm. A little bit more is revealed. Mm-hmm. Revealed. And by the end of the week, you'll know like. Oh yeah. This is good. Or no, this is like red flags for a week, you know? Yeah. Because you know, like you said, initial, you go on, on a first day, everybody's on their best behavior.
Everything is perfect, right? Yeah. You dress good. Yeah. Talk good. Do this. Yeah. You know what I mean? But you spent like overnight time with somebody. Yep. You're like, oh. Then you start seeing their habits or they're leaving, you know, the bathroom was like a mess. They're just throwing clothes everywhere.
Like they're, you know, and then you're just like, this would drive me crazy if I was married to this chick. I mean, now it's like, if you take a chick to Cheesecake Factory, that's a red, you know what I So you're broke. Yeah. You're broke. So I watched those videos about people who, you know, that type of stuff and what, what is it is expected, like off the rip.
Yeah. You know, women want to finish product and I'm just like, that ain't even how it goes. Like, you know, you, you, you don't necessarily marry on potential. Yeah. But you gotta give people grace and you gotta like, if, especially if you're gonna be with 'em for a long time. Yeah. You know, I love the fact that she helped build me.
Yeah. You know what I'm saying? She helped the support. She got my, she got my back. Yeah. She kept me from slipping, she kept me from falling. She kept me grounded. And um, and when you're in trying to find a mate or whatever, you better have those things at priority. 'cause the looks is definitely gonna fade.
Yeah. The money comes and goes. The sex is good and bad or non-existent. Yeah. And it's still, you still gotta hold it in the road. And then when you get to the children, how are you gonna raise the kids? How are you gonna run the household? So how you gonna work out the money part? Yeah. So all those things you gotta take consideration.
So I had a, I had a friend of mine was asking, he was like, he asked me a good question. I was like, Hmm. I don't, I was like, I was like, let me ask, I'm gonna ask Tony about this on the podcast, because, you know, if you're, um, in a relationship that everything is good. Right. But like, sex is just like not even there anymore.
Mm-hmm. Like, you know, like there's no, I'm like, well, you gotta think about a couple things. Right. Um, if it's an older woman, her hormones are changing. Yep. So sometimes it goes this way, sometimes it goes the other way. She won't, you have too much. Yep. You have a rolled up newspaper sitting next to you. Yep.
So you can offend her off. You know what I mean? Yep. Like it's, and you know, if I, I told him, I was like, you know, she should do her blood work, get her blood work done. Mm-hmm. See where, what's going on with her hormones. Mm-hmm. 'cause it could be that. Yep. Right. And he was like, because you know, in his mind he's like, well, if she's not doing it with me, she's probably doing it with somebody else.
Well, I'm like, yeah, that's a possibility too. Yeah. You know, I gotta, I got a PI he can give you. Yeah. If you want. If you wanna, you wanna make sure that's not going on. I don't think the, the, the lady I've met her before, she doesn't seem like the type, but that doesn't really mean anything these days. Right.
You know what I mean? Yeah. Uh, 'cause I, I've always seen her when they're together. I, yeah. I don't know. But I said, you know, uh, sometimes it goes this way, sometimes it goes that way. I was like, have you talked to her about it? He's like, I try. And then she gets mad at me. Yeah. You know what I mean? So I, we don't ever get anywhere.
So he is like, I just stopped trying. Yeah. I just stopped talking to them. One thing I notice about stuff like that, yeah. And just as you get older and with a lot of people, either they don't know or they just fail to realize that your nutrition is going to determine how your bodily, how your body functions.
Eventually, like when you're young, like I say, you get away with a lot of stuff, but as you get older, as your toxic load increases and your nutrition decreases, switches start flipping on and off. You know what I mean? Right. And so I always focus on detoxification. Uh, I'm, I I'm we gonna have a little supplement segment.
Yeah. I'm gonna talk Yeah. Show people, like some of the things that I do to, to number one, detox myself. Yeah. Number two to. Replenish the things that are missing you. You know what I'm saying? Right. And, um, that's extremely important, and that's a subtle way to see if things change. Right. You know what I mean?
Right. So a lot of people don't understand they're harboring parasites and, and, and bad microbiome, which is making things different. Mm-hmm. And so you have to address those things, and then once you address 'em and then you along with the hormones, uh, then you get a clearer picture. So, so I'll tell you a funny, uh, flip side to that.
I got another friend, it's the opposite. He's like, bro, she won't leave me alone. He's like, I, I, you know, he's like, my legs are numb and shit. He's like, he was like, literally like, he was like, I don't know what to do with myself, man. Well then he might, and he's like, and you know, he's, his worry is if he doesn't give it to her.
Right. You know what I mean? He's like, I got to, he's like, I had no choice. Right. So, well, uh, you know, as men, we gotta realize, especially if you got a really nice looking woman mm-hmm. Or, or a woman that has that aura. Yeah. You know what I'm saying? So there's levels of beauty. Right. You know? Right. But, um, sometimes it's just their energy.
So you gotta, you gotta feed that, you gotta like, keep up with that. 'cause dudes is gonna be Adam mm-hmm. At the gas pump and walking through everywhere, they're gonna be Adam. Mm-hmm. And so if it's your woman mm-hmm. I mean, like, I could send Kelly into a room with a thousand men Yeah. That she's even attracted to.
Mm-hmm. And like I say, if she chose one of them, then I would, I would be like this, you know, because knowing what I know, yeah. I'm just like, wow, okay. Well, that's the thing. I Yeah. But, but what I'm saying is they're, they're, um, targets, you know what I'm saying? Like, in other words, they, you know, they dress nice if they look good.
Yeah. They smell good. All that. A dude is going to try her. Yeah. No matter what. Well, that's, that's what I'm telling everybody. That's with a good looking woman. I'm like, listen. Things you have to understand. Things come with that. Yeah. If you're with a good look, I mean, listen, when a ugly outta shape woman can walk into a bar and leave with a dude.
Mm-hmm. Yep. What do you think a good looking woman that is in shape can do? Yep. You know? And you also got a ball. How did you get this woman? Did you get her with your wallet? Did you get her with Exactly. You know what I'm saying? So did she like you for you? Or you see what I'm you for your house? A lot of people, you know, they get married and they end up having to give away half they stuff.
Oh yeah. Because they didn't see the red. They ignored the red flags. They ignored it. You know what I'm saying? Yeah. So, yeah, I mean that's what, and and so both of these guys, they're not married to these women because they're so afraid. Mm. They're like, I feel sorry for the today's generation so bad, man.
So, and I know love is still there and it still exists, but I'm saying like, you know, with social media and like the expectations and you see all these podcasts about, you know, these, these independent women, and I'm all about that. 'cause my wife is an independent woman for sure. She could definitely. Be okay without me.
Yeah. But she always tells me, you ain't going nowhere. Yeah. You know what I'm saying? Like, um, you know, and I pride myself in that to, to be the man that she wants to be with. Right. And that's what, you know, that's what life is all about. Yeah. Having your, um, your non-negotiables and being the best version of yourself so somebody can't come in and, you know, take your spot.
Mm-hmm. And you know, the independent woman thing, like, people like to twist that around. Mm-hmm. Like, oh, we don't, first of all, you need men. If men stop working today, the world would shut off. Well, I mean, every, all of our infrastructure power is gone. Yeah. All of our infrastructures make is what it's so you gotta stop saying shit like that.
It's ridiculous. But, you know, but then the independent woman, being with a strong, independent woman is not a bad thing. Not at all. It only becomes a bad thing when she wants to also be the man in the relationship. Mm-hmm. And you're like, hold up player. Yeah. I'm the man in this house. Yeah. The ultimate is finding a strong, independent woman that wants to submit to you.
Right. Um, you know what I'm saying? And when I say submit, I don't mean, you know, bow down. I'm just saying like, okay, you could drive and if you pull over and let her drive sometimes, you know what I'm saying? Like, I have no issues with that man. I don't either. My, I, I used to travel a lot. Yeah. And I would bring Stacks home.
Yeah. And give it to her. Right. I mean, even still to this day, she has a hundred dollars bills from like 2004 five that I get, you know what I'm saying? Like, it is hilarious. I'm just like, you just, you kept saying she's just, that's just my rock. It's just, you know what I'm saying? It's just, but that's what I'm saying, like, my person, a woman, a, a strong independent woman, even though she's a business owner and all that good stuff, that's amazing.
Like, that's, that's the kind of woman I like. I like a woman that's strong. Yeah. But I'm traditional in the sense that. Listen in this house that we live in, like I'm providing, I'm protecting I'm stuff like that. I'm not holding that over your head, but Right. You can't step in my role. No, I don't step in your role.
No. You gotta stay in your role. Like I'll do my part. You do. You just make sure I'm good and then we're, you know, everything is beautiful. Yeah. You know what I mean? There's no problem. Yeah. It, it becomes a problem when you know you're a traditional man and you do all these things that you're supposed to do, and then the woman is like acting like, I don't need you.
Like, listen, if I pulled the plug right now, you, you don't be in trouble. Well, you know what I mean? Well, like I say, a lot of times that is the case when you have a, a woman who has, you know, whether there's a degree or a career, they make their own money, blah, blah, blah. So they get to the point if you're not.
Being that person that, you know, I, I don't know. They say a lot of women are delusional with the fantasy of what type of man they want. They want the bad boy. Yeah. Yeah, yeah. And most of the bad boys don't have their shit together. No. Then they want somebody with their shit together and they don't, they, they're not really a bad boy.
They're not as handsome or whatever the word is. Yeah. And so, like I say, me personally, I'm an expert at a, at a few things. Yeah. But then there's things that I don't have a clue about. Right. You know what I'm saying? And that's, that's when I become an observer. You know? I don't mind sitting back and learning from someone else.
I'm a student. Uh, anyway. Yeah. So, uh, I stuff that she's good at, baby, could you, could you do this for me? Could you handle this for me? Yeah. You know what I'm saying? I mean, why would you that And so to have somebody that can, can, you know, be that, help me be that person that, you know, my fall guy or my fall gal or whatever, the person that I can depend on.
And like I say, when she just helps me with so much, so much stuff that. You know, if dis holds me's a lot, I'm just like, I don't even know what to do with this. Right. Yeah. You know, especially like technology. I'm slowly getting better, but sorry about it. Yeah. She, she, she keeps it in order. So. Yeah. I mean it's, that's the, that's the balance though.
It has to be that way, you know, traditionally that's how it was. Yeah. You know what I mean? And there's nothing wrong with, like I said, a woman being successful in what she's doing. Yeah. But there is something wrong when, when that woman wants to, it's like part-time, like when it's works for her, you're the man.
Yep. Yep. But you know, whenever she wants to do her own thing, you're not the man. I'm the man. Well, pe we pe fellas. You guys need to realize this is the land of OnlyFans. So, right. These women, they make money. They make a lot of money. Yeah. And if it's all about material things, you gonna have a hard time Yeah.
Reaching her heart, you know what I'm saying? You know, one thing about only fans though, I, I just, because I have a friend of mine who, who's uh, like does the, um. The sites. Mm-hmm. He does. He runs all the sites for a bunch of 'em. Mm-hmm. He's like, only, he's a, I think Chase, you probably know this too, but less than 1% of 'em make money.
Money. Oh, okay. Well, yes, average. It's over. On average they like 150 bucks a month. Yeah. It's, it's oversaturated now. Have you heard that? I mean, you know, with these I know, and I know you notice this, this on Instagram, especially these AI women. Yeah. Know what, you know what I'm saying? Like, you can't even tell No.
You're like, well, no, I could. Damn. Because when I look, I'm like, ain't no woman looking like that. You know what I'm saying? Like, they just go overboard with it. It's too perfect. It, it's ridiculous. Like make it blemish. You're not anatomically correct. This is not how it is. You know what I'm saying? So you seen the robots they're making that looks like, oh man, bro, it's crazy.
Like they, you seen that they gonna flip the script. They definitely gonna flip the script, dude. It's, it's kind of, it's kind of wild. Like all these, all these dudes are like, not gonna give a shit about talking to like, anymore No. Anymore. If you can program it to do exactly what you like Yeah. The way you like it and say the things you want to, like what I mean, what the hell?
It's gonna be tough. What? That's gonna be tough. That's gonna, that's gonna put a little dent in the, uh, population, I think. And I think that's the goal. Yeah. I really, you know, I really think, and, and I don't understand it because there's no way we can overcrowd the earth. No. Um, we're not gonna run outta resources people, you know, I believe in the creator.
Mm-hmm. And so I know the creator provided everything that we need now because of greed and over consumption and, and, um, environmental catastrophes and stuff like that. Um, they have, you have plenty over here and then not so much over here, but that's because it's being controlled and manipulated. Yeah.
You know what I mean? And they, they're. Not allowing, or they're suppressing the knowledge and wisdom of how to grow your own food. You know? Now because we have the internet, a lot of that stuff is coming back. Right. But you have to seek that. You know, they don't have any courses and classes on it. They, they don't teach you in school.
They're not put, so if you wanna know how to grow your own food, you can go to YouTube and learn if you wanna, you know, do all the things. The old school stuff, it is available, which is cool. Yeah. But slowly but surely, as AI increases, as the robots and automation come in, less and less skill, people are just gonna be s.
Not doing anything. Yeah. Remember the movie, um, surrogate? Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. Where they land in this little thing looks like a coffin, and they, they're, they're, um, drone or whatever it is, is living their life. Yeah. And they're all old and decrepit and wrinkled and ain't seen daylight forever. That's, I mean, that's really where they're trying to take it.
The metaverse, they're building it now. That's where, you know, when the, when the robots and, and auto, all that takes over. People are gonna go in the metaverse and that's gonna be their reality. Yeah. So your digital you is gonna be what everybody sees. So essentially the Matrix, basically, which is how crazy is that movie that was, you know, that was, there's, there's, they're saying The Matrix was a documentary, was it?
I mean, that's what I'm saying, because that's really where they're trying to take it. What's on, yeah. Yeah. So. I'm, I'm not looking forward to those times and you know, like I say, with peptides and technology, yeah. People are gonna be living a lot longer. And I always tell people that's why instead of focusing on your lifespan, how, you know, worrying about it, focus on your health span.
Yeah. So you could be healthy and functional no matter how long it is. And, and you know, like some people, um, I think the ultimate is live your life to the fullest. Yeah. And then when you get to a certain point, die in your sleep. And that's the ultimate. So, it's so crazy you said that. 'cause I, I know I've talked about this before, but I.
That was my grandfather. You know, he lived well over a hundred years, right? Mm-hmm. Um, we think 114. Oh wow. Because, you know, they, they were, he was born in Russia before, before the birth certificate and Id Yeah, before they registered people. Yeah. Yeah. So they were like, okay, it was about seven. Let's put that though.
You know what I mean? It was like that. Right. And um, when he passed away, he passed away in sleep. He didn't have any ailments. He didn't have any health issues. He was working out no meds or none of that, bro. No, no meds, man. That's amazing. He was, uh, working out the day before. He worked out every day. Tony, every single day, even if it was raining, he would put on his poncho.
He was like, all right, I'll be back. He would go do his walk, come back, he would do his exercises. He always told me, he was like, look, here's, you gotta live like this, okay? You eat raw vegetables every day. You eat raw fruit every day. Um, he's like, you drink a lot of water. You exercise every day no matter what.
Something non-negotiable. Non-negotiables, right? Yep. And, um, oh, and he said, you know, always drink your vodka. And that was his thing. It's crazy how they have certain things like that. Yeah. I mean, it was just like, listen man, when I was young, I would get, if I had cough, he'd go make me a, like a hot Todd.
Yeah, yeah. You know, like a Russian version. Yeah. That thing kill. Okay, I'm good. I'm good. Yeah. Yeah. You know, and but he was a testament to if you did that, how you would live. Yeah. You know? Yeah. I mean, he would, we'd go places. He'd be dancing and shit and they'd be like, first one up. He didn't, you know, he was enjoying life.
Wow. And his mentality was great too. 'cause his mentality was to be joyous all the time. Yeah. He was never even, I, I don't, I don't remember when ever he was sad. Wow. You know, every once in a blue moon, he would um, he would get sad because he missed my grandma. Yeah. 'cause he passed away when, like, earlier.
Earlier. Because she had, uh, cancer, pancreatic cancer. Mm-hmm. That's a tough one. And it was like, it was gone. Like, that's a tough one. One month man. Yeah. She was gone. But that was the only time he would be sad is because he missed her, you know? But outside of that man, the guy was always joyous, always laughed, always.
You know, we'd go, he loved french fries, so we'd go, I would take him places. Yeah. We'd sit, I'd just give him a big ass plate of french fries. And lemme tell you how old, how, how he was, you remember how they would bring like a big plate of fries and they would have like garnish? Mm-hmm. Like kale or something.
Mm-hmm. You eat the kale too. There you go. He's like, why would you not eat it? It's kale, right? That's right. Yeah. It's not for decoration. Right. Right. He is like, that reminds me of when I was growing up. Um, like the first, uh, I'd say from four to seven or seven, I think. Yeah. Um, my, my, you know, my mom had me when she was 16, and so they were, they were kids.
Right. And so I would stay with my grandmother a lot, but my grandmother had some friends, uh, it was, it was, his name was, we call him. Uh, his name was Elder Walker, but I'm a kid, I call him a walker. A walker, and he used to take us fishing Uhhuh. Right? So back then, this is like before motorboats. This is when rowboats, I'm just aging myself.
But anyway, we would go fishing on the weekends or whatever day it was, and he had a, like a 15 foot John boat, uh, a big, uh, station wagon, right? So I'm, you know, five, four or five years old and I'm, I remember the first time I went I was like three, but I'm watching him from three to five years old. He would take that John boat.
And put it on top of the car, tie the boat onto the car, put all the fish, all the stuff in the car, drive two hours to the lake, take the boat off, put it in the water, carry all the stuff down to the boat, row us around the lake for six, seven hours. Catch all the fish, bring it back, put all the stuff back in the car, put the boat back on the car, drive all the way home, clean all the fish, cook all the fish.
Serve us all. It's, it was insane. And still have a good attitude. Doing the whole had an amazing I that still to this day, it just blows my mind. How number more He was 66 years old Yeah. At the time. Yeah. Doing all of this. So I'm just like, wow. So that, that really, um, molded me. Yeah. Uh, to be a hard worker and all that type of stuff.
And like, like now I'm, you know, I'm getting up to be 60. Yeah. And I'm just like, wow. I'm about to be Ella Walker's age, you know what I'm saying? That boat on top of the station wagon. Well, what I'm saying is just. Being physically able to do that type of stuff. Yeah. I guess back then they had no choice.
You know? Now they have, you know, but it wasn't even a thing back then. Right? It was just like, it is what you do. It was, it was like nothing. And now you can make that choice. You can say like, this is just what I do. Yeah. I'm gonna get up, I'm gonna go to the gym, I'm gonna, now you can get a guide and just show up at the lake with your cooler and he'll turn on, take, just go fishing for six hours and come back and come back.
You clean. You know? Yeah. So it it, like I say, it just was different. But watching him do that, um, with Joy. Yeah. Like, it was like, dude, people don't even wanna walk to their mailbox. I understand. They just drive up to it. Oh, lemme check the mail. Yeah. And drive. Like, go park your car and walk to the mailbox.
What's wrong with you? Those little things matter. And you know, when I retired from bodybuilding, you know, like I said, I was injured and, you know, had parasites and whatnot. Yeah. And I felt myself. Um, falling apart, I guess, and for, for lack of a better word, maybe I wasn't falling apart, but I know that my toxic load was way up here.
Yeah. And my nutrition was way down here. Yeah. And I had to do something about it. And like I say now at 59, I, I was looking at my, my video the other day when I turned 50, you know what I'm saying? Mm-hmm. Like, I look way younger now than I did 10 years ago. Mm-hmm. You know what, and I'm not talking about looks, I'm just saying, I'm looking at my, the inflammation overall in my, in my skin texture and all that type of stuff.
And all, that's because I felt like I had to address that. Because if I didn't, you know, I was gonna fall off. Like I said, there's a lot of people that aren't here anymore. Yeah. And there's a lot of people who are here and they're barely holding it together, you know what I'm saying? So if you don't put in the work, you can't expect the result.
Yeah. You know what's so crazy? I was watching the, the movie Friday. Mm-hmm. The other day. Okay. Wow. And you're watching that. And a bunch of those dudes are not here anymore. No, I know Bernie Max gone. Yeah. Tiny. Yep. He's going to, uh, Michael Clark. Duncan. Yep. He's gone. Yep. Like, like, you know what I mean?
Like, all these people are gone, man. Yeah. Yeah. And how old was Friday? Is it 30 years old? It was 97. Came out 96. It definitely was that time that, I mean, I was in high school. Remember every Friday we used to watch Friday? Literally. I know. We wore that VCR tape off. What? That's, and that's a for Yeah. By the way, uh, ice Cube looks exactly the same.
Yeah. Ice Cube. He's, he holding it in the room. He's, he definitely was doing something different than the rest of, I mean, legit, he looks exactly the same. You're like, for sure. Hey. Ice tea. Ice tea. Holding it in the road. Yeah. Yeah. Ice tea too. Yeah. But you know, what they did was they unplugged from all that nonsense and they, because you don't ever, when do you ever see them?
Yeah. He, they're, they're the, the celebrities that you never see. Yeah. They didn't live up to their image. They lived up to the man inside. I mean, ice Cube talks about, you know, he's been with his wife, I think 35 years, you know, and they were asking him like, well, how's that work? He is like, we can keep it private.
Yep. You know, we keep it private. Well, like I say, back then, I think people did it more for love and they, you know, procreation and all that type of stuff, you know, like women now can go and, and they've been doing it for years, but they can go, you know, to a sperm donor or whatever. Yeah. So, you know, it's how, it's how, uh, I think the, the, the, um, example that you had as a kid, you know what I'm saying?
Like my, I, I have my parents prom picture. Mm-hmm. I, I was five years old when they went to the prom. I remember. You know, I thought they was going to get married, but it was the prom, and I have those pictures and that's that togetherness. Yeah. And all that type of stuff. So it is different. Um, that's, that's what I was exposed to and that's what I always wanted in my relationship.
Mm-hmm. Yeah. I mean, that's what everybody wants, man. But, you know, uh, so I was brain like last night after we had dinner, man, I went and I was by the way. Yeah. That was amazing. Well done, Ben. You and, you know, we were able to bring Antonio, my son with us and Yeah. You know, I think he, at first he was like, I don't really feel like, you know what I'm saying?
I'm like, boy, you need to come. I said, well, I didn't, I didn't have to do that. I, I was like, I ain't gonna force you to go. I said, but if you want to experience some positivity Yeah. Someone who actually is. Um, outside of me. Yeah. Who wants to see you do good and be successful, succeed? Yeah, for sure. I said, come, come hang out with me and my boy pod.
And he was so grateful and, and happy, so glad. No, I'm glad we got to, uh, uh, you know, surprise him with the, the candle and all that stuff. Yeah. Yeah. We got a good video. Yeah. 'cause he didn't get to celebrate his birthday, so it was Oh, he did really cool. Oh, that's right. Yeah. Well, I'm glad we were the ones that did it with him.
Yeah. But I was, I was brainstorming last night, so I was like, you know, you know, we've been, we've been gone for so long. Mm-hmm. You know, since the last episode. Yeah. So much has happened. Yeah. So I'm like, okay, where do we start, man? Like, what are we, you know what I mean? There's so much to talk about. Um, you know, I don't want to go negative, but we, we gotta talk about Charlie Kirk.
I, I was just thinking before you said it. Yeah. I don't wanna go negative, but. You gotta talk about the guy. 'cause you know, so like, even when we do this podcast, you know, we have the long version and then we have the shorts and reels. Yeah. Most people, they base their opinion on shorts and reels. Right. And so if you watch some of the things that he said, without the context, you can, you can interpret it any way you want.
But if you go back and watch the whole thing, you know, it, he explained and, and all the, all the things that were said to lead up to that statement. Yeah. That, that's, that, that captured in cl Yeah. Because you know, now everything's about clicks and views. Yeah. So they're gonna make it juicy, the thumbnails, all that type of stuff, want people to get engaged.
And so if you base your opinion on that, then, I mean, you could be manipulated any way they want. Yeah. So, yeah. Well that's what me personally, you know, I've, whenever I've seen him, you know, I heard what he said. Yeah. But I also listened to other, other stuff. And to be honest with you, if you're really a certain way.
You can only hide it to a certain level, you know? Yeah. I have discernment, you know what I mean? And so most people are pretending, you know, um, they're pretending to be racist, they're pretending to be rich, they're pretending to, you know what I'm saying? Yeah. And they, because they, they don't really have the real experience.
Like I say, if you're basing your opinion on reels and shorts, you, you're, you're gonna be easily manipulated. Mm-hmm. And so it was really sad that it came to that. And I mean, there's still controversy to say if he really got killed or not. So, you know what I'm saying? Like, that's the crazy thing about this world that we live in.
Everything's theater from politics to sports. Mm-hmm. Uh, it's mostly, most of it's scripted because their, their agenda and the, um, what they want you to believe is, is how they, they're manipulating the crowd. I mean, look at the stock market, the crypto situation, everything's being manipulated. And if you're not grounded, you know, certain things, I just tune out because I don't, I can't really deal with it.
Doing It sucked into it. Yeah. 'cause my logic. Knows that it's bullshit. Yeah. So I don't even waste any energy looking into it. Putting, putting time into that. Yeah. I know. That's, and so I used to always watch his, you know, shorts and reels and all that stuff. And, um, occasionally I would watch like a, like a debate.
Mm-hmm. You know what I mean? But the guy knew what he was talking about. Yeah. Like he had, like, when he debated, he would point why he's saying this. Yeah. Like, this, this, and he would always say, fact, check me. Fact check me. Yeah. I don't think he was racist personally. No. Because I, I never saw anything racist from him.
It would not have served him when you're in the public eye like that. Yeah. Unless you just wanna be all the way to the left. Right, right. Yeah. You know what I'm saying? Or all the way to the right. To the right. Yeah. I mean, a lot of things in life. 'cause there's two sides to every coin. Mm-hmm. So in other words.
The Dems may be right on certain things. The Republicans may be right on certain things, nobody's right on everything. No, and like I say, it's all being manipulated anyway. Yeah. So, yeah. That's why, I mean, people, you know, I'm sure you get this too, but you know, people ask me, are you Democrat? Are you Republican?
I'm like, I'm not. I'm down the middle. Yeah. Some things sense in logic, bro. If it don't make sense and it's not based on logic. Logic, yeah. I just disregard it. Yeah. You know what I'm saying? There's so many things, you know, if you, if you are, I'm a history buff. Yeah. Right. And all the things that they've ever shown us, whether it be on television usually.
Right. If you go back and look, you know, 'cause 20 years later the truth comes out. Mm-hmm. Most people don't care. Mm-hmm. And they never go back and see what the facts really were. Mm-hmm. You find out that, oh, that was a lie. That was a lie. That, you know what I'm saying? Mm-hmm. It's all lies, it's all manipulation.
Yeah. So. I, you know, like this, like the whole hate situation. People hating. I'm like, who has, when I wake up in the morning, I'm not thinking, who can I go fuck up today? You know what I'm saying? Who can I talk some shit about? You know what I mean? So I just think that people are allowing themselves to be manipulated because they don't, they don't verify, they don't do any research and they, yeah, it's enough and it's enough for them.
I see this short, he says this, okay, like the stuff that they taught us in school, I'm talking about the old education system, old public education system. 95% of that stuff is garbage. Yeah. You know what I'm saying? It's just no use for us today. You, you're not gonna make it through life. Mm-hmm. They didn't teach us about credit.
They didn't teach us about things that really matter. And so it was just to, to create worker beads, to create people who weren't going to question, who weren't gonna be free thinkers, who were, who weren't gonna create anything. They're gonna, I gotta go, you know, I gotta get good grades and go to, but you know what I'm saying?
Like, everybody fell into that line. Yeah. Now, like I said, they got content created. Now people are creating things. Yeah. And that's why so many people are successful with this internet thing because they're creating, all the creators are making money. Right. So, well, you know, with him, and then you have the influencers who are pushing the agenda.
They're, yeah. And so they're getting paid Well, they paid to, to push the bullshit. Right. So, well, when it comes to him, man, I mean, regardless of what his views were, what he said, or any of that stuff, you can't be happy. That a, a man that's sad killed like that. He's got two little kids, he's got a wife, you know, he's Christian.
All that stuff. You can't like, you know, celebrating something like that just says everything to me about that person that you're even happier a group of people because it wasn't just a few individuals, A whole genre of people. No, on T-M-Z-T-M-Z got a whole bunch of shit because they were, you know, TM Z's live all the time, right, right.
So they were live doing something and when he got shot and then they announced that he was actually passed, there were people cheering in the back That's crazy. Cheering and happy and stuff. So TMZ Yeah, bro, it was bad. Wow. So, Patrick, Ben, David, you know, put, put them on blast and was like, you guys need to fire all those people.
You need to, you need to clean house and you need to own what happened. Right. Because what they did was right away they made a video saying that, uh, they were sell, they were, they were watching a car chase. And the police caught the dude. That's why they were cheering, which is nonsense because if you look at the timeframe, so this is funny.
This is what Patrick did. So if you look at the timeframe of the car chase and where they cheered, the car was just turning. Mm-hmm. There was no, there was no, nobody getting caught. Nobody had, nothing happened. It was literally just making a right turn. When I see, you know, when I see, because now you can see anything on the internet.
Yeah. When I see anybody get shot, even the person that was in the wrong Yeah. You know what I'm saying? Yeah. I still feel bad that it came to that. Yeah. You know what I'm saying? Yeah. Um, I, I watch all this one guy follow all his, his whole thing is talking about, you know, people just blasting people. It was, it's crazy.
Yeah. But just to watch certain things, how people underestimate the next person. Right. They're be, you know, I've seen this one guy pull a gun out and. He pulled it out on the wrong person. The dude just took his gun and shot. It was crazy. Shot killed. Yeah. And I'm just like that. I try my best to even avoid confrontation like that.
Yeah. Like I say, yeah, just walk away. I'm focused on mine, you know what I'm saying? My family, my, my immediate family and my distant family, the people I love and trust and all that. And I try to be neutral with, I try to give face value to the people that I don't know and come in contact with. Because you, you don't know who you're talking to.
Well, that's, you never, you never know who that person really is. Exactly. And that's the thing. There's people walking around that don't care about going to jail. They don't, they don't care about going back to prison or whatever. They'll take your life in two seconds. Well, mental health is, is something that's very serious.
You know, you got a lot of people walking around, um, depressed or whatever, and a lot of that is. Demons. Yeah. And, and when I say demons, I'm not talking about the exorcist. I'm talking about this bad microbiome. This, this, this negative energy, these parasites, they're manipulating your thought process.
Mm-hmm. And like I say, if you got, if you live in a toxic environment, you, you know, your home is toxic, you're eating, you know, all the junk food and all type of stuff. You're not not drinking water, you're drinking, you, you know what I'm saying? You care all the time. Like all those things are going to affect the way you think.
Yeah. And the way you act and the way you move. And then, so if you run into somebody that's on the same trajectory as you, that can be catastrophic, you're gonna collide. So, yeah. Yeah, man, I mean that's, that was super sad when I saw that. And, and I was really disappointed in humanity, man. Honestly, I was like, you guys are cheering that this guy got killed.
I mean, even if you didn't like him, whatever. You should be like, that's messed up. Yeah. When I see these things, you know, and like I said, it is theater. I'm not saying that he didn't get shot for. I'm saying they want you to see it. Yeah. So they can push the agenda and that, that whole thing is all, everything's being manipulated to have him sitting in, you know what I'm saying?
Like whoever did that. Yeah. It wasn't so you, you gotta know. It just couldn't have been just some random kid. It's not that kid. You, I mean, I'm not saying it wasn't that kid. I'm just saying something else was attached to it. Listen, that's, you know, like I said, we'll find out 10, 15 years from now what really, really happened.
If you talk to Annie Sniper. Yeah. Talk to, first of all, um, security detail wise, that what the, what the first thing the security detail does is they go and say, okay, if I wanted to take him out, where would I sit? Mm-hmm. And in every spot that's a possibility. Yeah. To use. Yeah. They, you know, they put somebody there.
Okay. So this dude was on, it was like the other one when with Trump. Yeah. The guy just walking around with a ladder put like, people like what? Yeah, well you, what are you doing with the ladder? I say that's the diversion. I think that type of stuff is what they show you immediately after. Well, that he was so they can push you in direct.
That's what saying direction. That's I'm saying. So if you talk to the, if you talk to a sniper, they're like, that shot that he took, first of all, they say it came from behind him. Right Now they're saying it comes, came from behind him, not not from the front. Yeah. Um, at first they said it ricocheted off his collarbone and then came out his neck or something like that.
But, but then they showed a drone. 'cause you know, they can have the drone set up and, and they take the shot with the drone down, so. Oh, bro. I mean, yeah. Yeah. That's what people really need to understand. That's, yeah man, it's so, I'm like, that kid was not the kid, bro. That's beyond our understanding. You know, there's levels to this and they have technology.
I mean, they could do it with frequency waves, this just all kinds of ways now. Yeah. So, yeah. Well I think it's really important, like, you know, uh, besides being healthy and working out and, you know, staying on top of all that stuff, I think. Uh, men these days have to be capable of, you know, being, being in combat and knowing how to fire a weapon and, you know, knowing like you gotta, like, it's somebody who's never been in a fight.
Yeah. You, you can tell right away. Like, you watch these YouTube fights. Yeah. Like, this kid's never thrown a punch in his life. 'cause he's, you know, yeah. He's swimming, you know, so I, well, so we haven't talked about a lot of things have been going on, so, uh, the beginning of the month. Yeah. Uh, I have dogs. I have a, a bully, uh, a male bully.
Yeah. I have a female Rottweiler. Yeah. And I have a female, uh, she's mixed. I, I, she looks like a boxer pit bull mix. I don't even know what she is. Okay. I love her to death though. She's, she's become my favorite because she's such a dog. So, anyway, um, you know, my son, he stays at home, but he stays at his girlfriend's house a lot.
So he comes and goes. And so one day he was in the room and him and him and my wife were in the room talking, and the dog, his dog is, which is the mixed one, was in there. And so my wife called me into the room and I come in the room, right? And so my female rottweiler comes trotting in right behind me. Um, I don't even know what happened.
'cause normally, you know, dogs, they either bark or growl or give you some kind of mm-hmm. Something like a warning to let you know something about to jump go off. Yeah. I mean, as soon as she crossed the threshold, the, the little one just, I mean, just like a linebacker last time just hit her and they, so they're fighting and this is the second fight.
So the first fight, I wasn't home. Yeah. So my wife and uh, my, my nephew. Um, was my godson, Uhhuh was in the house and they was trying to break him up and they was telling me the story. And while they're telling me, I'm just like, damn. I'm like, well, if I was here, could I would, shit, I could've broke him up with no problem.
Right. So anyway, when they locked onto each other, I pa I over, I panic and reacted. So I'm like trying to push him apart. Then I start, I try to kick, try to kick at him. Yeah. Then I start punching him. Yeah. I was just like, wait a minute, I'm not having no effect. This happen, this happen, like zero effect.
Right? So I finally got a towel and put it around the other ones, like I'm, I'm telling them, 'cause normally when I say something they respond. Yeah. So I'm trying to separate 'em and the, the, the young one just, I mean the older one was trying to listen to me. But the, the little one was still latching on.
She was like, so she let go and then latched back on again? Yeah. They like, wait a minute. And so I put a towel around her neck. I'm trying to like pull her off or cut off her air supply or something. And so my wife goes and get a picture of water and throws it on her uhhuh. And that's, that's what broke my apart.
Mm-hmm. And I, it took everything that ha that I had in me to get the, the young one into the cage. I mean, it was so crazy because after about the third punch, you're like, this, I was like, this feels like I'm hitting a brick wall. Like she broke down. You could feel her whole body flex. And she did one of those numbers.
I was just like, oh shit. So anyway, this ain't gonna work. After the whole si I got bit on the finger. My whole finger was, was wide open. Yeah, yeah, yeah. And it's closed now, but, and my hand was all swollen, like I had been boxing. Because you, because you were punching her. Yeah. And so after that I was just like.
Damn, I might need to go take some jujitsu or something. Shit. I'm like, it's been so long since I had to throw blows, bro. I'm telling you about, I'm just like, oh my goodness. So, I mean, I felt for like three days. I was like questioning myself. Yeah. I was like, I remember I called you. I said, I said, well, I found out that I'm not a puncher, I a grapple.
You're like, I'm a grapple. Know what I'm saying? By nature, I'm just like, that was so crazy. And so, because the dogs are so, they're like lap dogs. Oh yeah. They're so, I mean, I'll catch 'em over there licking on each other. I mean, they're, they're so loving. I don't know. I think it was a territorial situation.
Some some set off. Yeah. But it freaked me out and it was very scary. 'cause I was completely helpless. I I could, I had no effect. Yeah. No effect whatsoever. So the, the water got 'em separated. I maybe cut a air supply off a little bit, but when the water hit, that's when they let go. That's when they let go.
So the, so something similar happened. I was at my friend's house. He's got, he's got two pits and they went at it. And the only way we could get him off. Well, I think one of 'em was mixed. I think one of 'em was like a lab pit mixed. Mm-hmm. The other one was like a pit, right? Mm-hmm. The only way we could get 'em off is I had to choke him.
Yeah. Like, I had to, like, literally You had, did you have the choker? No, bro. I literally jumped on like, like a, like I was in an MMA fight on, I got my hooks in, I got behind her neck, and then I just, I just squeezed as much as I could until, and, and it literally, the dog went out. So when I put the towel around her, I felt her gasping, you know?
Yeah. So it was the water and that, I think. Yeah. But it's an instinct, man. That was, that was so crazy. And that made me respect both of them. Yeah. You know? 'cause they're animals, like, and like I say, they're loving, they're, they're lap dogs. They literally, she lays her head in my lap and I'm, but. But when they go at it, you, you ain't nothing, you mean?
No, that's the only thing. You can't hit 'em. No, because especially in that closed corners. I mean, the bedroom is about the size of this room. Yeah. There was no room to, it was boy and, and my son was there. Yeah. Because we were like, said he, he's like, I was, we were like shouting at each other, bro. It was the most craziest thing ever, bro.
It was the craziest thing. But that's what I'm saying. Like, so I went and sparred, I went and sparred like, uh, a couple days ago and you know, all the guys I spar with are, are active fighters. You know what I mean? I can't spar with like a a, you know, somebody who was just trying to go in there for cardio kickboxing.
Right, right, right. You know what I mean? First of all, it wouldn't do anything for me and it would be bad for them. So, so I go, sure. You see what I mean? So I go in and I'm sparring, and these are all young kids, like, you know, 18, 19, 20 years old and stuff. And, you know, they're all trying to be the next UFC guy and whatever.
So we're sparring and I'm like, my timing is so odd. Like, I'm, I'm not telling, I'm not letting anybody else know that. Right. But I know right. Because I was like, man, I was so much sharper. Yeah. Because I was doing it, you know, three, four times a week I was in there doing juujitsu wrestling. Yeah. Mu tie, everything.
So I was a lot sharper. Yeah. And I was in there and I was like, I would catch myself. I'm like, oh my God, dude. Now, because I, I've done it for so long, I was able to, you know. Right. Or to come back. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. But, but man, I was like, I need to get my ass back in here, man. Like, yeah. I, I'm definitely gonna start neglecting getting a heavy bag.
Oh, hundred percent. Just, I mean, all that hand strengthening. Bro. I, I mean, and I'm telling people as you get older, yeah. You know, things just go away. If you ain't using it, it is dust we had blow. You know what I'm saying? You, it's not gonna be there ready when you're ready, just in case of emergency break glass, you gonna be like, it's not gonna happen.
It ain't happen. Yeah, that's what I'm saying. So I was literally talking to, um, talking to a friend of mine. I was like, bro, you need to, you need to, 'cause he's so, um, like nice, I mean, he's a, he's a big dude, right? Mm-hmm. But if it came down to fight, he would get his ass whoop. He's just big. Well, having the stamina well that, well that, right, that, that, and then also he like, you know, when you carry that much muscle.
The oxygen that it takes. Yes. Like you burn out quick. Yes. You got 20 seconds of hard. Ain't no thing. Ain't no saved by the bell. No, man, you got you in there. Because that's really who ends up winning the fight. Who can last as long as really? Right. It's the, it's the cardio mean. You watch any professional fight, the guy who's got, like, if it's real, even like skill wise, whoever's got more Cardios, the one that comes out on time at the, at some point you're gonna gas out and then he's gonna tee off on you.
Remember when Ricky Hatton fought? Uh um, Floyd? Floyd? Yeah. You know, Ricky was like a hummingbird. Yeah. He was like, he threw like 90 something punches and Floyd threw five, you know what I'm saying? Yeah. Threw five, knocked him out dead. So he said his strategy was to stay on him the whole time. I was say, unless you got the heart of a hummingbird, bro, you ain't gonna last.
No. And he was just a missing. And then eventually he just got so tired floor, he was like, tap, tap, tap. And he was gone. Well, yeah, no. So I hit him with that. He hit him with a check hook. It was beautiful. Check hook, counter hook. Yeah. I mean, he laid him out dead. So, but I mean, you know, I mean, you're fighting the, the like one of the smartest fighters of all time.
Right. And one of the least hit, I think Shane Mosley's the only one that's ever hit him, like with a good shot where he wobbled him. Right. You know? Yeah. I think Shane was the only one. Um, sugar. Shane was amazing. Sugar man, bro. Amazing fighter. But you know, outside of that man, when did you see Floyd get hit?
Even when he fought Canal? You know, canal is a, a bull, right? Yeah. Couldn't do nothing with him. No. Couldn't do nothing with him. No. Like, you know, much respect. Yeah. I mean, Floyd, like, people like to hate on him and all that shit. I'm like, bro, you can't. I'm like, the guy is so disciplined. Yeah. Anybody who puts it in your face, he gonna have, you're gonna have haters.
You know what I'm saying? But that's what, you know, he said something really cool too, man. He was like, listen, whether you succeed or you fail, people gonna still talk shit about you. So he might as well succeed, might as well. You know what I mean? I mean, I'm, I'm go give him something to hate on. That's the real shit you could say.
And that's the thing with him is, you know, he didn't care. He, he's like, I got my circle of people that care about me and I care about them outside of that. You, it doesn't make a difference in my life if you don't like me. Right. Or you don't, you still pay to watch me fight because you either watching me to win or you're watching me to get, get knocked out.
Right. Yeah. So, but you still paying me 'cause I'm still making a hundred million dollars after this fight. You know what I mean? Well, a lot of people don't know how Floyd trained too. Um, my buddy EJ. You know, he's in, he's a boxing guru. Yeah. And he was, he kind of, he trains fighters or he did, you know, he still can, but he, he, I, I watched him train this female fighter.
Yeah. And I used to feel so sorry for her 'cause he would have, he trained her like, he, like, like Floyd was training. Yeah. And I, and, and I watch her and she didn't even falter. Not none. Yeah. I'm like, oh my goodness. And she, you know, she, they would bring dudes in to spar with her. Yeah. And she would just, it, it was insane.
Yeah. But he was like, the way that when you do, you train this way, so when you get in a fight, it's like nothing. Like, you don't even need to sit down between rounds or nothing. Yeah. That's how she was. She was in crazy condition. But that was the, so when I fought, my coaches were always like, look, you, you go through hell in practice.
So that when you are ready, it's time to fight. It's just you have fun. Yeah. You have a good time. Yeah. Because you're not worried about gas oil. Yeah. You're not worried about getting hit, you're not worried about, 'cause you've gotten all that stuff during the, during the, you know, the training. Yeah. Up to this point.
Yeah. So, you know, that's why the training is so hard. Yeah. You know, they, that's how I was when I was competing and you know, I practiced my posing so much that by the time we got to pre-judging or, or you've never got stopped. I was good. Yeah. And that's something nobody ever, ever used to do. No. You know what I mean?
Well they really need to start doing it now because the judges is actually judging working you all the way to the end. Like, these guys really need to like really start focusing on that part of the, being able to hold of the game. You know, they say talk about conditioning, it's not straight the go. It's that, it's the whole process and yeah, hitting the poses correctly, being able to hold it.
'cause like I say now, and the prize of money's so crazy. Yeah. You know what I'm saying? Like, I went to, what is it, 500 K, 600 K. The Olympia was 600. I think the Arnold is 400. I, but I think, I think Arnold was more, I think they taken it up to seven 50 death because Yeah. Yeah. I mean, it's going to great. It be, it'll be a million, you know, within the next couple years.
That's good. Yeah. That's good. So I might have to dust off my trunk. No, I'm just playing. I'm like, bro, let's, let's get you back up there, man. A million man. It's, it's crazy. Like, um, Derek made, Derek and Samson were able to make like a million dollars on stage, uh, in the same, in the same calendar year.
That's crazy. Because they did the Arnold, you won, the Arnold didn't won the Olympia. That's like a million bucks. I mean, that's, that's dope, man. That's good for that. Yeah. That's crazy. It's good to see that because, you know, bodybuilding, man, you put yourself through so much shit. You know, the, the, besides the, the chemistry stuff.
The training is nonstop the eating. Mm-hmm. They're manipulating the water. Mm-hmm. You know what I mean? It's like, it's so much that you do to yourself. Yeah. You know what I mean? Um, so I went to the Olympia this year and had pretty good seats. You know, I wasn't dead center, but I was downstairs. Yeah. And so I, I, you know, I was going between looking at the screen and looking on stage.
Right. 'cause it was different. Right. And, um, I, I agree with the, the final, you know, the final outcome. Yeah. Although I, I had Andrew winning, um, just from a body build standpoint, and, you know, Andrew was not perfect, you know what I'm saying? He, he looked way better than he has ever looked. Right. Um, so you worked with him in Dubai, right?
I, I, I won't say I worked with him, but I got to spend probably about 30 minutes. Okay. Maybe 45 minutes, you know, talking to him and just giving him my point of view. And he actually listened. Um, and I actually saw the results of what we talked about on stage. Yeah, that's cool. Um, and I knew it wasn't gonna happen in one show.
Yeah. But the fact that he's headed in that direction, 'cause you know, I, I figure 2026, he has just as good a shot as anybody. Yeah. And I, you know, Samson is really turning it up and I think he's probably gonna do the Arnold too, but he's really turning it up. Yeah. So I think it's gonna be, be between Samson and Andrew in 2026.
Now, nothing against Derrick and Haie, I'm just saying like a, a 307 pound Samson and a 305 pound, um, Andrew. Andrew. I don't really care what Hottie and Derrick do. You know what I'm saying? So I'm, you know, you know what I mean? Right, right. So, um, that's what I think, that's what the sports wants to see. Um, so I'm, I'm def I definitely wanna see it.
So we'll see that. That's so crazy to be that conditioned. Yeah. And be 300 pounds. Yeah. I did it. So I, I, I, I know what it looks like. I know, that's what I'm saying. Feels. That's what I'm saying. That's so crazy, man. Know, and, and I look at, you know, and I don't know what these guys are doing per se. You know, some of these, some of the guys who aren't winning are putting out their protocols and it's like blowing my hair, blowing my wig back.
Huh. I'm just like, oh my goodness. But like, stop, stop doing that. You know, like I say, I, I've achieved, you know, 315 pounds Yeah. In single digit body fat. And I know what I did to do it, but I don't even, you know, even at, even 10 years ago, 15 years ago, I don't know if I would this, you know what I'm saying?
There's so much technology available now. Yeah, yeah. Um, but it seems scary 'cause I'm just like, but again, these, these scientists and these gurus and all that, they, they, they obviously know what they're doing. You know, genetically, I think the chemistry is making up for a lot of people's flaws, genetics.
Mm-hmm. Wise and, um, yeah. 'cause they're filling the gaps. Yeah. Yeah. So, you know, I'm curious to see. You know, I would love to see, uh, all the way dialed in, Andrew, all the way dialed in. Samson, you know, Heidi pretty much comes in, dialed in, but again, he's maxed out. I was gonna say, how much, what else can he do?
And I believe Derrick is maxed out. So if any, any, if those two guys try to get bigger, they're gonna go backwards. Yeah. You know what I'm saying? I don't, I don't think, and Andrew could probably put on another five to 10 pounds of contest weight. 'cause he's just so long. Is he, uh, six two? He's, he's, I think he might be a little bit taller than me.
He been, he might be a six, I'm sure he's 6 2 6. Yeah, he's probably six two and Samson's probably six one. Okay. They're not small guys. Yeah. Yeah. You know what I mean? Um, Samson went up to 350 this year, which, and he still got abs in that, you know what I'm saying? Like, so That's so crazy. Yeah. But you know, both of those guys are Nigerian and so when you start talking about genetics mm-hmm.
Their bone density is different. Mm-hmm. Their muscle density is different. Um, I mean, you can tell by his structure. Yeah. So his structure, I think that, you know, as you know, over the next two or three years, we're gonna see something that we've never really seen before on stage even. I'm excited, you know, maybe not the quality of Ronnie.
'cause if you look at Ronnie, uh, you know, 2002, you know, you know, he was mu his quality was insane. Not that he wasn't just huge. Yeah. It was quality, dense muscle. But we saw how he trained. We saw how he eat. He was, he was regimen beyond belief. He didn't have as many, as much technology. So, and it's so crazy.
He was still working as a cop. Oh yeah. It wasn't crazy, man. I, you know, I got to spend a decent amount of time with him and just, he was locked in all the time. And I know from after he did the, the Olympia. Yeah. Uh, you know, especially after he won four or five of 'em, he, he shut it down for three months before he went back to the gym.
But, but up until that point, shh. He's, he's one of the most locked in people I ever seen. But that's what I was, that's so disciplined. Is, I was, that was one of the things that I was thinking about was discipline. Yeah. How important it is, no matter what you're doing, whether it's bodybuilding or fighting, whether it's business.
Yeah. Whatever is discipline, even in your relationships. Mm-hmm. You have to be disciplined. Yeah. Right. But how important is discipline when it comes to, like, trying to achieve your goals? Right. First you gotta set the goals, right? Yep. A lot of people these days don't even do that. Nope. They're just like, I'm just, you know, it's never gonna happen.
So a part, a part of setting goals is the mindset. Yeah. You know? Yeah. So that's a part that's, that's actually in the word, that's what it says. Yeah. Yeah. So, um, you know, everything's mental. Like, especially at that level. Yeah. You know, 'cause everybody's eating, everybody's training, everybody's taking, everybody's taking, taking, you know what I, everybody, same thing.
Yeah. So it's your mind, your mental capacity. Yeah. Right. And how can do you stay locked in, you know? Um. There were certain shows where I was 110% locked in. Mm-hmm. And then there was other shows, you know, I might have been 80, 90%, you know what I mean? It's just you, you can't, I don't think you can be like that all the time anyway, so.
Mm-hmm. Um, I did way more shows than most people, probably more shows than I should have done, so, um, but it became a business. Yeah. Remember we were always competing, man. Well, the thing is, you know, I got to a certain point where. You know, I knew I was on my way out eventually. Yeah. So, you know, I, me personally, I, it became, I wanna figure this out.
And so between 2006 and 2011, you know, is when I figured it out. Mm-hmm. But it took a whole bunch of trial and error Right. To actually get it, to get to that point, you know what I'm, so sometimes I would be lean enough, but then I would be too flat sometimes I'd be full, and then I wasn't quite lean enough and sometime I was too, too dry and sometime I wasn't dry enough.
You know what I'm saying? Yeah. So I had the, I always, I used to say all the time, name something in this world that you can get better at without doing it. Right. You know what I'm saying? There's, it's nothing. So if you wanna be Exactly. So I, I basically, you know, had the mindset of if I was a surgeon, the more surgeries I do, the better I get.
Yeah. If I was an attorney, the more times at trials I did, you know what I'm saying? Yeah. And so as a bodybuilder. Uh, me personally, I was like, I need to do as many shows as I can so I can figure this thing out. Yeah. And so I didn't go from off season to on season, I just stayed locked in. Yeah. And then pull over to do a show and get back, get right, right back.
Locked in. Yeah. I mean, I, I literally sat down 'cause this is, I mean, we're getting at the end of the year. Mm-hmm. So I sat down and was like, okay, what, what have I not been doing? Right. I haven't been disciplined, I haven't, like, you know, I, I fell off too, but that's what I'm saying, like, you know, you as a, as a person Yep.
You can't lie to yourself. No, because, because you know, you know when you, you're cutting yourself short. Yep. Right. So I know I haven't been disciplined. I know that. Right. So I, so I wrote this all out. Right. I was like, disciplined. Right. You know, so everything that I do from literally from this was, I did the list probably day before yesterday.
And, and since then I've been like. Okay. I'm gonna be, I'm gonna be locked in. I'm gonna be disciplined. I'm gonna like the, I was telling you about the, the going in there and training. Mm-hmm. You know, train combat, be efficient in it, get back in the range, you know, be efficient in that because you know, it's different when you know what you're doing when it comes to being able to protect yourself and other people.
Um. It's like a, it's just a, it's a, it's like a superpower, right. You know what I mean? It is. And you avoid com anything conflict wise completely. Because you don't need to, there's no, there's no, you talk to any fighter, right. Any real fighter, not these people that go and do cardio kick boxing. Mm-hmm. Okay.
But you go, you talk to any fighter, they avoid fights. Yeah. Unless they're getting paid, there's no steps in it. Unless you're getting paid or unless your, your, your life or health is in danger. Yep. You are walking away. Yep. Because there's no, you know, I mean, it doesn't, there's nothing to prove It's not, it is not gonna benefit you.
That's why when I, when I go and do juujitsu and things like that, and they, you know, tap, I mean no. No matter what level you're at, you're gonna get tapped out. Yeah. You're gonna get tapped out, you're getting caught in submission. You get caught in choking, but that's what makes you better. Yeah. Because then you remember next time, oh man, this guy's setting up Ezekiel choke, or this guy's setting up a dark choke or this, you know what I mean?
So you recognize it, so then it makes you better, so it makes you sharper. Yep. And. I remember when I first started doing Jiujitsu, I would, it would really make me upset when I would, when I would have to tap. 'cause you have to tap, you either you gonna pass out or you're gonna break something. Yep, yep, yep.
And I would be mad at myself. And then the coaches, the professors were like, why are you upset? I was like, well, you know, I don't, you tap I'm a man and shit. Yeah. You know, all that. And they're like, do you know how many times I've been tapped and now this guy's like a established black belt world champion.
Mm-hmm. You know what I mean? I'm like, you know, like a hundred million times. Right. Yeah. Because you are fighting people on your level. Yeah. So, or, or I mean, it was even worse for me 'cause I, I, I was a wrestler. Mm-hmm. But I didn't, I knew some submissions, but nothing like juujitsu. Right. You know, so I would get caught.
Yep. 'cause I wouldn't even recognize what's going on. Yep. You know, all of a sudden I'm caught in a choke. I'm like, oh shit. Yep. Well, if your opponent's studying you, you know what I'm saying? You have tendencies. And he did his homework. Well, you know, as you go in, so I was a white belt, you know, and you go against like even a blue belt.
A blue belt knows a lot more than the white belt knows. Mm-hmm. Right? Mm-hmm. So the blue belts will catch you. Right. You know what I mean? It puts you to sleep. Yeah. And I was like, and then once I had that conversation with him, he was like, no, this is part of the game. This is what makes you better. Right.
You know, now you learn from it. Right. And you become, you use that discipline to, to study. That's why they call 'em professors. Yeah. Like, they don't call 'em senses, they call 'em professors. Hmm. Yeah. Okay. Like in Juujitsu, because it is a science to it. It's a science, right. So it's, and they call 'em professors.
So, I mean, I'm gonna, we're gonna have some, some of my guys on here, like, um, uh, junior, s Ella Sum, Sao, uh, Freddie Ha, Sao Drew are brothers or brother? Yeah. So three brothers. Oh, wow. All three of 'em fought. Mm-hmm. Like at the very highest level. Mm-hmm. Um, Hafael was one of the top Bandon weights in the, uh, U Ffc.
Mm-hmm. Forever, ever. I mean, he was at the very, very top for a long time. Great guy, super great fighter. You know what I mean? He's retired now. But, um, you know, I've known those guys from way back in the day. His brother, their oldest brother's junior, junior fought, like in Brazil. He fought in UFC, he fought in Nate Diaz, like, you know, and, and Freddy too.
Freddy fought in the, um, uh, I think PPFL and some of, but he was a champion in there as well. So, you know, all the guys, that's what they did. So they're professors when they teach mm-hmm. You know, they're professors. So, but you know, you're talking to people who have, um, experienced like that. Right. Have seen it all.
So they know when they, when they're teaching, you learn so much more than whatever you're learning, you know? Yep. And, and what I love about Juujitsu is that you use it in life. Like the things you learn there, you use it in life. Right. And then another great thing about doing juujitsu, when you go join like a jujitsu, like a real juujitsu gym, um, you, you develop this bond, this brotherhood with, with everybody else because there's nothing more personal than somebody strangling you.
Right. Do you know what I mean? Yeah. Yeah. It's like, it's not like having a spotter that spots you with weights. Right. You know, it's like you, you're literally going passed out because in, in reality, what hap what that means when you have to tap to what that means is you're dead. Yeah. You're in a street fight.
Right. You, you know, there's no, there's no tapping. Right. You going, you're going die. Right. You know? That's what that means. Right. It means I'm dead. That's what that means. Okay. So, wow. Yeah. See, people don't, people don't think about that. Oh, you just tapped. I'm like, no, he died. He died right there. Wow. Yeah.
That's what that means. You know what I mean? Or he broke his arm. Or he broke his leg, or, you know. Well, that, so sportsmanship wise, when somebody taps you, you let go. Yeah. I've seen people not though. Yeah. So those people get their ashes whoop, by, by the, by the, the head people. Because Yeah. You can't come in there and, and try to bully.
They don't play. Like, the thing about Juujitsu is very respectful. Mm. You know? Yeah. It's very respectful. That's why Brazilians take it so personal. If somebody talks bad about jujitsu mm-hmm. Or you know, right. Their country or whatever, because it's a lot of pride and they, their pride comes from respect.
Right. It doesn't come from, you know, trying to boast or, you know, I'm the tough guy or whatever. None of 'em are like that. Right. Well, you know, I always admire professional fighters, like I say. If somebody is punching me in the face or elbow, you know what I'm saying? Like it's, I'm like, how do you do that?
And you get up and hug them. It's like crazy. But I always respect that. It's, it's a business man. It's a bus. Like, at that level, you know, they're fighting for money. They're prize fighters. Yeah. You know, it's not, it's not, not every once in a while you have a grudge match, you know? Right. And that's different, but Right.
You know, but it doesn't, they, they're very big on respect. I mean, like junior at his school, um, you know, all the SWAT members would come up there and, and they roll and, you know, they're all, you know, it's just, you're around a bunch of good people, man. And you just. And it's funny 'cause you're like strangling each other and stuff like that.
And then after that you go grab some food and hang out and you're just like, okay, you know, it's a little different kind of workout, you know? Or you spar and you had me on that one. They'll punch. Yeah. They'll punch you in the face and you got a black eye. You're like, Hey man, you got me good at that one.
You know what I mean? It's like, but it makes you better, man. Like, I remember like when I'm consistent with that, it's like, its like when you became consistent with your training. Mm-hmm. You know, when I'm consistent with that man, it just, you get all of it out. Yeah. When you go there, you get all of it out.
Yeah. So when you leave that place, you're just like the nicest human being on earth, right? Yeah. You got no chip on your shoulder, you got nothing because you got it all out. Yeah. You know what I mean? Talking about respect, respect in the game or whatever it is. And you know, like there's a, there's a lot of people now that.
Think that competing in a show is bodybuilding. Oh, yeah. You know what I'm saying? Yeah. But really bodybuilding is all the things that you do before you get to the stage. Yeah. Just not what you do on the stage is, is the exhibition. You're just showing your, your worth showing, you know, your hard work or whatever.
Mm-hmm. Bodybuilding is the actual work that you put in to, to look like that, to get to that point. And so that's a similar um, no, it's, I mean, similar with respect all, and you know, what it comes down to is discipline. Yeah. You know, you wanna be the best bodybuilder. Yeah. The more disciplined you are Yeah.
You're gonna be the best bodybuilder. Yeah. If you wanna be the best fighter, the more disciplined, you know, it's the same thing with fighters. If you skip a day, you skip wrestling day. Mm-hmm. You know? Yeah. When you getting ready to fight and you fighting somebody and, and then the dudes, that's mostly what he going to do.
You're not ready. 'cause you've been, been, been punchy now your whole game, everything else you learned is out the window because you can't defend or you're not ready, take down, you know, whatever. Yeah. So discipline is, is one of the big things. I mean, on my list I was like, alright, discipline was at the very top.
I was like, discipline. Because the discipline to me is, you know, the combat training is the range time. Mm-hmm. Is getting back at the weights. 'cause I haven't been, I mean, this is a, you know, I, this was, we were joking the other day, but I was being serious. Mm-hmm. When I said I got the, uh, my, my before picture is gonna be off the chain.
Oh, you so, like Ali used to say, you know. Discipline is doing the things that you hate and you, and you execute it like you love it. You love it. You Yeah. You know, he said he hated running, he hated all, a lot of, as a lot of aspects of the game. Yeah. But he did it like he actually loved it. Yeah. And it showed, and so, you know, everybody's like, what's your favorite exercise or whatever.
I, I love him all and I hate him all. Yeah. You know what I'm saying? Like, it's, it's something that, you know, is required and that's what, you know, people ask me to coach 'em and they say, I want to compete. Well, they're not even training yet. So I'm just like, okay, well I gotta take you back to a, because you've been watching YouTube and, and, and ig, right?
So you think. That you can just go from being a couch potato to getting ready for, you know, the nationals. Right. You know what I'm saying? There's a process. And so, you know, the first thing is being disciplined, but discipline comes from being consistent. Mm-hmm. So in other words, I'm consistent before the discipline even kicks in.
Mm-hmm. You know what I mean? So in other words, you gotta be consistent to even discover discipline. Discipline because now your discipline is going to come from, I know this works. So even though it sucks, even though I don't want to do it, you know what I'm saying? Yeah. I'm gonna get up and do it. Like I love it.
You know, people was like, you know, like my process was, uh, later in, when I started having success as a professional Yeah. Is when I started using keto as my base. Right. Which, who wants to not eat carbs? Right. You, you, in the beginning you feel like crap. Yeah. But I knew once I did it, that made me be able to do it.
You know what I mean? So I was able to stay locked in because I knew the result. That I was gonna get from being disciplined. Mm-hmm. But it does, discipline doesn't come first. Consistency comes first. Yeah. And then you learn things. This works. That works. This doesn't work. And so now when you find the things that actually work, now I'm doing them regardless.
Yeah. I'm getting up at whatever time, hitting that hour. Cardio. I remember I used to certain times of the, of competing, um, working with Dave. Dave could see where I was because we worked together so long. So he was like, I, I need you to do three hours of cardio. And I used to be what? I was like, what? You know what I'm saying?
And so one of them, them sessions sometimes was on the stair mill on level one. Just for an hour. It's like watching paint dry. But it, but, and, and so I hated that. Yeah. I hated it. But again, I kind of painted myself into a corner. Yeah. And in order for me to get where I'm going to need to get to in time, I had to do that.
Yeah. And so that's why I started being more disciplined. Right. To where I didn't have to do three hours of cardio. You know what I'm saying? I don't wanna do that shit ever again. You, it was the, it was the hardest thing. So you're doing three hours of cardio and you're not having any kind of carb, so you just feel like ass.
Yeah. So that's, that's terrible. So consistency was, was number two on my list. Yes. Because, you know, I'm like, okay, because you already know the things that work. Right. So I've already been there, I've already done it. So I know what works. I know what my body likes to do and doesn't like to do and what, where it's going, give me what I want.
Right. So I'm like, okay. And when I say discipline, I'm talking about every aspect of my life. Yeah. I'm talking about, you know, health business. Yep. Relationship. Family. I mean, you, you know, even my spiritual discipline needs to, needs to be better. Yep. You know what I mean? Yes. Because you start to fall off when, when you really do life starts throwing heavy things at you.
Yeah. Man. You just start and then you go back to God when you Lord, please make this mean. Like my bad dog. Right, right, right. I'm sorry, I should have been here. You know what? Me And then, and then, so, so, and I caught myself doing that, especially lately. You know, I actually went to church and just like when the church was closed and prayed, you know, just alone.
Right. You know what I mean? Because I was like, I need to get, I need to get this back. Yeah. 'cause it's different. Yeah. I feel very off balance. Mm-hmm. Because from where, where I come from. Yeah. You know, where I came from. I had, I was like, all right, this, this, this, this, and it's all gonna be like this. It's all balanced out.
Okay. Yeah. And then when I start going off balance, it's, everything falls apart. Right. You know what I mean? It's not just one thing, it starts to trickle. Yeah. And. Like you said, I mean, I, at this point in life, like I know what works. I know what doesn't work. I know you know what I need to do. I don't what I need not to do.
You know? So for me, you know, being disciplined is like the huge first step. Yep. You know, which I took, I'm like, all right. Yep. I'm gonna be disciplined. That's why I called you. I was like, bro, we gotta get back in the studio. Yeah. Yeah. You know, that's, this is a big part of it. Yeah. You know what I mean?
This, what we do here is it's going to, uh, you know, and this is a attachment to a bunch of other things that we got, like the coaching stuff and stuff. Yep. And, um, the supplements, the peptides and all that. Yep. But also, you know, I think it's important to put out the, the right message to people 'cause Yeah.
You know, we both watch a lot of the content out there. Yep. And a lot of it is just, I'm like, Hmm. Yeah. It's probably not good to Yeah. Be saying. Well, and there's a lot of people that say, but don't do. Right. You know what I mean? And so, you know, that part of being consistent. Um, you know, it, it compounds.
Yeah. You know, and people see the difference when you locked in, people get outta your way. Mm-hmm. You know what I mean? Mm-hmm. I, I, I used to notice how different people reacted to me and some people like they, even now, I didn't wanna bother you 'cause you seem so locked in. I'm like, well honestly, I'm not really locked in.
You could go bother you come bother me. You know what I'm saying? But it's all good. But you know, when I was doing it, and when you are doing it, people recognize that. Mm-hmm. And especially people that care about you and they get outta your way. Mm-hmm. I used to tell my wife all the time, I don't expect you to lock in on this regimen.
I know this is not human. This is not normal. I said, so just don't get in my way and we'll be fine. You know what I mean? And so that's, that, that kept us together too. So when she saw, I got to a certain point, if she didn't wanna participate, she just got outta the way. You know what I mean? Mm-hmm. Because there's other people who trying to see you trying to do something.
Mm-hmm. And they'll be like, stu, you in the, in the hallway. Yeah. You know what I'm saying? So don't you want a donut? You know what I'm saying? Like, so. Um, when, like I say, just people who care about you and they, they understand where you are mentally and physically. Yeah. Um, like I said, if you don't wanna participate, just get outta the way.
Yeah. So that, and then, you know, making the right decisions, that's a, that's another bigger thing. Yeah. Not based on emotion. Right. Which I had, I used to have a really bad problem. Me too with that, because I'm an empath and you know, a lot of times you like, you're not certain about something and then you, you, uh, ask somebody else's opinion or whatever.
Or you've let somebody else's energy or influence take you off your mark. So Yeah. Making the right decisions, thinking things through. Right. And, um, sometimes you gotta write it down and, and carry the, carry the one, you know what I'm saying? To figure it out. Yeah. And you gotta, you gotta take time and you can't make an impulsive decision.
No. 'cause that's usually the wrong one, you know what I mean? So that, and then cleaning out my circle, man. Yeah, that's, that's a big one, right? Yeah. A lot of people need to do that. Yeah. That mean we're talking, uh, to Antonio. Yeah. Last night we were talking about it because. It changes the direction of your life.
Yeah. You know, with the wrong people in your life, man, the it, your life will either go stagnant, which eventually means it'll drop and Yeah. Dissipate. But yeah. You know, it's really important to have the right people. I mean, there's instances where you're better off having no people. Yeah. I'm, if you can't grow with me, you can't go with me.
You know what I'm saying? Like, it's, if, like, like we talk about, if it's not serving me, the relationship's not serving me or whatever. Yeah. Then I, I'm puff of smoke. I, I, now, I just, I can't, I can't afford it. I can't, I can't. So that's why I'm completely transparent with people when I'm dealing with 'em.
Like, yeah. You know, are we, are we doing this? Are we not doing this? Yeah. Either way I'm good. Yeah. If it doesn't work, it doesn't work. Yeah. I'm, I'm actually depending on you to hold up your end of the bargain. Right. And if you're not gonna do it, then just say so and there won't be no judgment. That's what, and that's the thing, man.
The time. Right. Like, that was, that was another thing on my list is time. Yes. Time management. Yeah, time because. There's not much of it. I mean, we don't get much of it anyway. Right. From the time you're born to the time you're right. Well, we spend, you know, a quarter of our life sleeping Right. A third of our life, sleeping a third.
Yeah. You know, and, and time is so valuable. It's the one thing you can't buy. Right. You can't, you know, it doesn't matter how famous you are, you're not gonna be given any more of it. Right. It doesn't matter who you are. Yep. You got time, you got this much time. Yep. So whatever you do with that time, that's it.
That's what you leave behind, that's your legacy. Right? Yeah. So the time thing was big for me too, because I'm like, I wasted so much time, like when I look back mm-hmm. How much time I've wasted on, you know, either the wrong businesses or wrong, you know, people or whatever. Yep. You know what I mean? And you just go, man, if I could just get down back, you know?
Mm-hmm. And you can't, you can't get it back. So, but what you can do is you can learn. Like for me, I was like, all right. Obviously I can't get it back. So the only other thing I can do is say, okay, I'm gonna take that time that I gave away mm-hmm. That I lost, and I'm gonna learn every bit of lesson that was during that time.
Yeah. And I'm gonna make sure to not repeat that. Yeah. So I can make the time that I have left, whether it's 50 years, it make it count, whether it's 10 years, whatever it is. Yeah. Make it count so that when it's time for me to check out, or whatever time that is, I'm coming home, that I don't feel like, oh man, I just, if I would've just done that, if I would've done that.
You know what I mean? And you know, they, they say there's no perfect time anyway. No. So if there's something, you know, what I learned over these last few months, um, how when you have a, a strong relationship with God and he speaks to you Yeah. To act immediately. Yeah. Because he's not telling you something now that he wants you to do later.
Yeah. You know what I'm saying? When I learned, now when he say, when it comes to me and I hear that voice. And I know it's not me just thinking, yeah. Now I just do it. Just do it. 'cause I'm just like, whoa. And then he instantly lets me know. Yep. That was me. That was it. So, I mean, I, we did that, you know, we talked about that before on the podcast.
Yeah. When I made God this sinner again of my, of my life, you know? Yeah. I had him in the center when I was young, and then during that crazy portion of my life, I was like, yeah, he's there. Yeah. You know, I talk to him. I love him. I wear my cross. Yep. He, you know, but I wasn't, listen, I wasn't listening to nothing.
I ain't gonna lie. I, I, I didn't, I didn't tell. I, I told God I'll be right back. You know what I'm saying? Yeah. Like, I, I, I really didn't, it's, it is crazy because like I said, the way I was raised, I, I never wanted to be a hypocrite. So when there was, when I was doing things that I know, he'd be like, you ever see that meme where Jesus is looking over the shoulder like that?
Yeah, yeah, yeah. In those moments, I'd be like, that all I'll be right back. Time. Time. That was him over. Yeah. So that was, you know, the time thing was really big. And then, you know, the circle cleaning out the, the people that just don't need to be there. I mean, you know. Yeah. I mean, and it's not, yeah. I don't, I don't do that in a negative way at all.
You know, it's just that, like you said, if if it's not serving me to become a better person, better human being, then they don't need to be there. You know what I mean? All the best to them, they can go. Um, and then my health and, which is really part of the whole thing. But, you know, getting my health back in order, you know, I mean, you saw me, I was walking in with a McDonald's bag, you know what that was?
A McDonald's bag? Yeah, that was a McDonald's bag, man. But that's what I'm saying, like, you know, that's how, that's how I, to never eat fast food, you know? Yeah. Now I'm eating like a DoorDash. Well, actually when I, DoorDash is, is usually good food. Yeah. But even that's not really good food because you know, they put the butter on there.
Right. Put all the good stuff on. I, you know, certain things that I have learned that it is just certain things like McDonald's is one of 'em. Now, I will tell you this. I will eat a filet of fish if in a pinch. I remember driving from, uh, Northern California to Southern California one time and. It was like, wow, one o'clock in the morning, whatever.
So that was the only thing open. So I got made file. So if I go to McDonald's, that's, that's what I got. All right. But there's just certain things that I just don't allow in my life, you know what I'm saying? Yeah. And I try to avoid McDonald's and, and things like that. I mean, not, you know, to eat your own if that's what you want to eat, but I'm just saying because of how my body is affected by it.
Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. It just, you know, I have experience and like, you know, I used to, when I was back in the day when I eat the quarterback, I could literally feel it like going through my digestive track. And when it left me I felt, I was like, oh, I ain't doing that. You know what, I'm, that's it. That's last time.
Um, that's how I am when it comes to food. 'cause yeah, I, you know, I'm ab negative blood and I have a, have low stomach acid, so I have to be careful, you know, I have to use enzymes and stuff like that. So I had to be careful 'cause it will make me feel like crap. Mm-hmm. You know, like I have food allergies that I didn't know I had.
And I think it's very important for people to get a food allergy test because you could be eating things that you're allergic to without knowing it. I was, uh, doing a cleanse, uh, not too long ago before I went to the Olympia. Mm-hmm. Um, so I'm doing the wormwood and the black walnut hall and the, um, bird tile, just all the, the, the detox things.
Mm-hmm. And when you do those detox things, and I'll talk about it here in a minute. Yeah. I was gonna say the supplement. Great. Great thing. So if you're going to go, um, on a detox or, or a protocol, you know, like I say, new Year's, uh, resolution is coming up and so there's, you have to open up your detox pathways.
Mm-hmm. And I might as well segue into it now, but I have, uh, discovered these products. It's a company's called Vital Health, and, um, I'm not gonna spend a lot of time on it, but this product is like a tea product. Mm-hmm. It cleanses out the colon. Um, it's like a tea you put in your water. Yep. It's called detox.
Oh, okay. Yeah. You just, you boil it and make some tea. Okay. Okay. This call, this is called iodine. I call it virin. This is for kidneys. Okay. So you, so making sure your kidneys are percolating correctly. This is organ X it, um, for your liver. And then this is 40 floor. So when you start cleansing and the bad bugs start dying off, you have to have some kind of a binder.
And this is okay. These are capsules. Okay. Yes. They're all capsules. I thought they were all teeth. This is a binder. Okay. And, um, so that helps carry, collect, and carry the crap outta your body, so, okay. Um, you know, so that's your, we'll, we'll put the link in the description. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Just so people can check it out.
And like I say, if you hire us for coaching, I'm, I'm going to, I, I always expose people to the things that I know work for me. Mm-hmm. That's, like I said, that's another thing that I'm not just, I. You know, Googling stuff and putting people on it. Right. I'm actually testing it out and trying it myself. So, and then you had some other stuff too.
Yep. I got some other stuff. So back in January, last January, um, this company, uh, is called Opti. This product is called Opti Surge. Some friends of mines. This, uh, I know you've probably heard of the, the product, uh, eugenics. Yeah. So the same guy who invented that invented this, this is four times more effective.
And I basically came off, uh, I was doing TRT back in January. Mm-hmm. And I came off TRT and just to test the product out. 'cause it's supposed to be a testosterone optimizer. Okay. And so I started taking this and I stopped taking my TRT, the cold Turkey stop. Cold Turkey. Okay. Right. Which, that's kind of dangerous.
No recomp. Yeah, no recomp. So I'm thinking that I, I'm expecting a drop off. Right. But I can't really promote something, you know what I'm saying? Unless I know it actually works. So. Two weeks in, I'm expecting to drop off 'cause I'm giving the Esther's time to get outta my body. Well come two weeks later I was actually getting better.
And so from January until probably about three weeks ago, I just started back on TRT like three weeks ago. Um, actually right when I started is when the dog bit me. Oh. And so I had already started, so I didn't wanna cut it off. So I'm, I'm a micro doer anyway. Right, right. So I, um, I still take this and it's kept, you know, this is not like a test booster.
Yeah. Like I say, it's an optimizer. Yeah. It's actually has some elements and good for your heart. And so it makes body produce more of it its own, on its own, on its own or make it produce it optimally. Okay. And so I didn't have any drop off and honestly I was looking pretty good, um, just doing that. And so now that I'm, I'm ready to.
Do something again with my physique. Mm-hmm. So that's why I started back on the TRT. On the TRT. Okay. Yeah. And the peptides. So, well, I mean TRT at your age, that may makes sense. I mean No, it, it is for health purposes. Right. Only And so here's, here's, I got a couple more things. So I always talk about nutrition.
Yeah. And, you know, I've been, I've been eating bison since forever. 98, 99. Yeah. My buddy, uh, Liddell used to train, um, Ted Turner's secretary, and she used to bring us bison, you know, literally almost 30 years ago. That's crazy. These, this product is this, this company is called Human Nature. Um, I'm pretty cool with the owner.
I told him I'd give 'em a plug today. These are so, you know, beef organs mm-hmm. Is very popular right now. Liver king. Liver king. So this is bison organs. So, you know, if you, if you take a cow and a bison and compare 'em to each other, uhhuh, they, they're, they're different. So a bison is something more. More robust, you know what I'm saying?
Stronger, faster, and all that. And then they have a mineral product to go with it. 'cause minerals are extremely important. They even have she legit in here. And then this one is, is just good, clean, healthy fat. So omegas and um, bison, talo. So. Okay. Um, this is human nature. Like I said. We're gonna put the, the links in the description if you have any questions.
Yeah. Um, there's a lot of good data on there. And they work really well. I got my wife on 'em, I got my kids on them everything. 'cause because you know, if you, if you know anything about beef, liver, bison, liver, um, it has all the B vitamins in there. Yeah. And um, where that's what they took out of the food chain.
That's why you see enriched flour, enrich, um Yeah. Rice and stuff like that. Mm-hmm. Because they stripped the nutrients out and they sprayed it back on. Right. So, and then this company here, diamond Dallas Page is really good friend of mine. Um, is this DDPs? Yeah. So Dd, DDP, he's there, there's a guy, his name is Dave Kennedy Uhhuh.
He's a cyber in, in cybersecurity. Okay. And they wanted to start, um, they're biohacker, so they wanted to start a company. It's called Hacking Your Health. Um, right now they have, um, this is way, this is a whe blend. That's the, um, pre-work, pre-workout. You know, I'm not really big into pre-workouts 'cause usually they're over stimulant.
But this is the perfect amount of caffeine. It tastes really amazing. And, um, right. You know, black Friday's coming up, so all these companies are having Black Friday cells. So if, if you're looking for something that. Is tried and true, high quality. Something that, you know, like I said, I highly recommend 'cause I use it myself.
Yeah. Hacking your health. Like I said, we'll put the link in the description. This is, dude, this taste wise, everything, man. It's good, man. Like I say, this guy, he's, he's a cybersecurity person. He, he doesn't need to do supplements. Right. You know what I'm saying? He, he's, so this is more of a passion thing. He actually does security for the uni, for the government.
Yeah. Yeah. He's actually, uh, does it for the NFL. So in other words, he, this is all about their passion and high quality. So yeah, he, he wants to do this, so. Yep. So I'll put the link in there. I think it's like 20% discount. So Hydro Lifes okay. Yep. Yeah's really good. So those are the, some of the things that I take that I recommend.
You know, like I say, when my coaching clients, you know, I always like to steer people towards stuff that I've actually tried, you know? Yeah. Well that's important. Somebody that's, they're not paying me to promote it. This is something that I actually use. This is usually, yeah. So, yeah. Well, that's awesome.
Um, I think we should probably. Call that one a 28 episode. Yeah. I mean, honestly, we could sit here till next week and well Yeah. Pump out. Well, like I say, it's been a minute, you know, we, we, this is something that I love to do. Yeah. And I, and I felt, um, like something was missing when we wasn't doing it. Oh yeah.
But life be lifeing. Yeah. And there was so many things going on that, you know, the timing got off and we needed a break, you know? Yeah. And you know, we went, we was doing two episodes, we was doing four episodes a month. A month. Yeah. You know, which we want. We're gonna get back up to that. But, you know, like you said, man life, uh, when life happens, sometimes you gotta step away and, and take care of what you gotta take care of.
Yeah. And then you come back and then everything is all good. Yeah. So, and again, this's guy's timing man. Yes. You know, guy says, deal with this right now. Okay. Oh, something I, I'm, say something else. So like I told you before the Olympia, I was going through a cleanse of detox, right? Yeah. And I was taking this product, um, I won't even say the name of the product, but, uh.
I was allergic to it and I didn't know it. Oh, wow. So, you know, I, I pride myself in having a small, tight waist. Yeah. Well, my waist started expanding. Oh. And I didn't, I was just like, what is going on? 'cause you know, I was, I was eating some things, but nothing like that, but nothing outside of the realm of which I know I can get away with.
Right, right. So anyway, I go to Vegas for the Olympia, and my guy, I told you that has the Metatron, I went and got tested on the Metatron, and you know, he's sitting there and he's testing me and, um, he's saying he, for, he tells you the good stuff, but he also tells you the bad stuff. Yeah. And he was like, he was like, um, he said, have you been taking P pectin?
And I was just like, yeah. He was like, yeah, showing up allergic. And so my, it was making my waist information. Yeah. My, yes, exactly. Okay. It was crazy. So that's why I'm, I'm mentioning it so people. You know, I don't know what methods you're going to use, but if you can find out what your food allergies are, because a lot of people over Yeah, it's a meth, meth methylation test.
Right. They're, because they're eating foods that they're actually allergic to or mildly allergic to, and it's having a compound compound effect. Yeah. So is that a meth, that's a methylation test, right? Well, no, it's not. Well, so like I say this, the Metatron, it, it's, it's, it's ai, it's it's Russian artificial intelligence, and it's really next, next level.
Yeah. Um, it's, it's, you can't call it that, but it's almost like diagnostic. Yeah. So if you, if you hook your car up to the little machine, it tells you what's wrong, tells all the problems, something similar to that. Um, but um, it just kind of, it, it'll, it'll tell you what's going on. You can actually treat yourself with the machine, but it also tells you how to correct what's, what's going on.
So I immediately got off the pectin. Um, that's when I, like I said, that's when I really started. Paying attention again and you know, because my waist had got up to like 38 and some chains. Wow. Is it ever been that big? Once, once? Um, probably, probably about, uh, no, you know, I don't know what I was taking, but that's when I kind of, after I retired, you know, I went to that little mental slump.
Yeah. And um, I just didn't give a damn. So, but this time I was actually trying to do something good for myself and it was backfiring because I didn't know I was allergic. So. Well now you know. Now I know. No one's half the battle so Di Joe. Alright man. Hey listen, uh, man, it feels good to be back in here.
Yeah. And, and doing this thing again. Chase all love his, his little guy is turning one. Yeah. Happy birthday. It's crazy. Like I say, time flies. So cr I remember when you. Your wife was expecting, you're like, we're gonna have a baby probably this weekend. Yeah, he had to be like, on call time. Yeah. He was not on call.
I was like, all right. You know what I mean? Yep. And now he's about to turn one man. That's crazy. Congrats. Happy birthday to the little man. Um, all right, so we'll be back in here soon to do another one. Uh, we'll let Chase celebrate the birthday party and then, and then we'll be back in here. All right.
Let's pray again. Yeah, let's do it. Father, thank you for this day. Thank you for this U Unity. We ask. You'll bless us and bless everybody's family. Bless everybody for the holidays. Forgive us for our sins. Thank you. Father. You name I pray. Amen. Hey, man, before we, before we go real quick, it's Thanksgiving.
What are you thankful for, man? I'm, I'm grateful for my life, my health, um, my family, um, discernment. Um, I'm thankful for all these opportunities that are starting to present themselves. Um. And, um, you know, a clear head, you know what I'm saying? Mm-hmm. Like, you know, I spent decades in and outta sobriety, you know what I'm saying?
So, um, just now to be able to, um, be thrive, you know, and have a clear head and be sober and, uh, to be helpful. And, um, like I said, I'm grateful for all that and, um, this opportunity here. We have all the things that we got going on, so it's easy to say, um, that I'm grateful you. Yeah, man. Yeah, I'm pretty much the same man.
I'm thankful for the family. Amazing family. God, of course. Clarity. Yeah. And I'm really looking forward to the future. I'm also thankful that my bears are eight and three. Oh, shit. There you go. I'm thankful for Chase. Yes, sir. Yes, sir. For doing this thing. Yes, sir. And, um, all right, love you guys. We'll be back.
Have a good one. Happy Thanksgiving.
