Hello, hi, and welcome or welcome back to the Strategic Magic Podcast. I'm your host Blu, and I'm a business astrologer here to help you use astrology so you can start, grow, and scale your online business.

Now, I'm super excited because this is part two in the two part series I am doing all about the astrology of 2026, and helping you to prepare to make the most out of it.

So before we get into this episode, make sure that you're all caught up and you catch the previous episode, which breaks down the biggest transits to look forward to in 2026, and also what the energy has in store for us.

But if you're already caught up, then buckle up because this episode is going to be all about the business trends to incorporate in order to start, grow, and scale your online business based on the astrology of 2026.

So like I mentioned in the previous episode, 2026 is going to be a year all about authentic action. And this is largely based on the major transits that are really shaping what this year has in store for us.

So when I sat down and thought about what this means in terms of business, there were a few trends that I'm seeing emerging that I really think are going to be in the same vein of this authentic action era that we are entering.

Now, before I get into that, I wanna just talk a little bit about how trends work when we're considering astrology. So using traditional Hellenistic astrology, which is what I practice, we're gonna be looking to the outermost planets for this: Jupiter and Saturn, which coincidentally are going to be the main ones driving a lot of the major transits happening in 2026.

So it's really interesting that Jupiter and Saturn are the planets that we're gonna look to in terms of trend setting because they both showcase the importance of longevity and really taking your time.

The important thing with trends is that in the way that we come to understand them, trends are usually seen as something that is quite fleeting. It's something that's going to be around for a short period of time, but then fizzle out, go out of style, out of favor in the collective.

But the key with trends is that they have to do less with the individual and they're more about the collective. They're also really interesting because trends help to dictate and showcase the current times, the energy and the status quo of what was going on in a particular time period. And based on what we're talking about in relationship to the trends, who it's directed to, what it's showcasing... that also plays a part in doing fortune and fate forecasting, which goes hand in hand so beautifully with astrology in general and the practice of astrology.

So, we look to both Jupiter and Saturn because they're both going to dictate different themes within the overall focus of trendsetting.

Both Jupiter and Saturn have longer transits than the other planets that we use in traditional astrology. However, Jupiter is going to have shorter transits in general when we compare it to Saturn, which has longer transits, averaging about two years or so.

So even though both of these planets; they're both outermost and they also have longer transits... they also dictate more of that collective energy rather than the individual energy. Of course, with the caveat that unless you have these planets ruling your ascendant, ruling your midheaven, then that would indicate these planets being more important for you in terms of your personal astrology.

However, generally speaking, Jupiter and Saturn being the outermost of the traditional planets showcase the fact that these are important to the collective and really trying to determine what is a general sense of what we are moving forward with. What do we have to look forward to? And also how can this help us in future forecasting as well?

So these business trends are based on the astrology of 2026 and also the current state of business as well. We have to look at what are we currently experiencing in the business landscape? Both of these things combined really helped me to narrow down the top five business trends that I think we're going to see emerging more in 2026 and beyond.

A lot of these trends are already beginning to surface. So it'll be really interesting to see how they transform and evolve throughout 2026, especially around the time of these transits that are inspiring these trends.

So without further ado, let's get into the business trends of 2026, based on the astrology.

So the first business trend that I wanna talk about is really shaping the rest of these trends here, and it's something that I'm calling personality leadership.

In terms of where we currently are within business, there is a general sense, a general shifting that is happening within the collective of being just tired of the status quo. Again, we have to take stock of where we are currently before we can move forward, in order to know exactly where it is we're going in the first place, right?

So if we look at the current landscape of business, people are getting online fatigue. They're tired of swiping, they're tired of being force fed , and things that really, truly don't resonate, that have fallen again out of favor and also just aren't pertaining and aren't relevant to their lives.

If we look at society overall, there is a sharp separation that is going on. It's a lot of us versus them mentality in terms of different areas of expertise: within politics, within society. In general, people are tired of the polarity. They're hungry for a way that we can begin to come together and resonate in an new way.

So this first trend of personality leadership is really shaped around the fact that business trends and business in general is going to swing towards the opposite trajectory. It's no longer about who can showcase the most luxurious, unattainable lifestyle to mark as successful. In fact, a success marker in 2026 and beyond is going to be more about relatability in terms of connection.

Can this person connect with me on an individual level? Do we value the same things? Are we in alignment in terms of what is important and what is not? Really thinking about 2nd House themes as well; resources, and not just in terms of material resources, but also like values, immaterial possessions.

Personality leadership is gonna be important for you as a business owner because this is the way that you are going to showcase your authority within your space, your niche, your industry outside of just, this is how much money I make. And specifically with personality leadership, as you have probably guessed, the key factor with this is showing your personality.

So I even have in my notes, shake a little something. Okay? In the same way, thinking about how people are very tired of like this buttoned up professional persona when it comes to showcasing authority. We're being invited and being inspired by the transits, especially with the shifting into Saturn in Aries in showcasing and leading with your personality, your individualism as a authority marker.

So showing your personality, showing who you are outside of business hours. Literally having fun with how you are presenting yourself is going to be a big part in ultimately branding and showcasing your authority and leadership.

So this isn't to say you need to completely abandon what makes you an authority or an expert or a specialist within your field. Of course, all those things are important. But putting it within the context of you are also a human first and a business owner is just one aspect of your whole human experience.

This is a really good invitation, especially if you're somebody that's maybe more introverted or more shy, or just not used to showcasing your personality. I'm definitely raising my hand with this because this is something that I've even struggled with over the last few years, within my business and feeling like is my business even safe for me to showcase my authentic self? Is this a platform that I feel like I can bring in things outside of just my area of expertise and still be taken seriously?

The answer to this in 2026 and beyond is going to be yes. And it's going to really be an important part of not just putting you against the competition and really making it easy for you to stand out as an authority... but also to become a one of one business owner inside this very noisy landscape. It's not just going to be based on information and pricing and all of these quantitative things. It's also going to be about who do I just resonate with the most?

If I'm looking to hire, say, a copywriter, there are so many different copywriters, even within as much as I can niche that down; the specific type of copywriting that I'm looking for. But, more than likely, I'm going to hire the copywriter that I resonate with the most. So personality leadership may be the answer to that question of how do I actually achieve those 2026 business goals?

And moving forward, I gotta shake a little something. I gotta showcase my personality. I gotta talk about the fact that "I have a pet" or "I have kids", or " I coach little league on the weekends", or things that ultimately have nothing to do with business.

Really putting it in the context of your individualism is something to showcase and to be proud of. And it's not just about being an authority in a sense of how much money I make and look at everything that I pour into my business. It's also reminding yourself and your audience that business is only one part of your whole human experience.

So, personality leadership is something that is definitely revving up. But the more that you can lean into this now, it's really gonna help you to set yourself apart, and to make the most out of your business in the next year and beyond.

So that is the first business trend to look out for, based on the astrology.

All right, so following that, we have the second business trend to look out for based on the astrology of 2026, which is thought leadership content within your own ecosystem.

Specifically when we think about personality leadership, it has to be directed in a particular way. So how exactly is this going to be shifting how we consider and how we look at marketing?

Thought leadership is going to be on a rise. It already is, in a response to the digital fatigue that audiences across the board, across industries are having, even in more hobby areas or non-business related spaces.

People are just tired of being glued to their digital devices. They're tired of subscriptions. They're tired of just like being force fed these things. And instead, they're looking for the opposite responses.

So if we think about trends, again, it's often a pendulum swing from one extreme to another. The response to a digital overload is going to be okay. Shifting from short form to long form.

So we saw the rise of this in 2025 with the hunger being expressed for more creative outlets that go beyond social media. Things like long form content in general, but that's really going to kick off and gain momentum in 2026, specifically around thought leadership content in the business context.

So people are going to really be craving this in terms of what are your own processes, your frameworks, your own school of thought and how can that be quantified in long form content specifically?

I've talked about this previously on the podcast, so if you need a refresher, I definitely recommend that you check out my episodes on how to create your content and really think about your marketing.

But I think that this is going to look like both creating this content and then really thinking critically as a business owner about where you are posting and prioritizing the creation in the publishing phase of that.

So this is, I think, going to go in two different routes. We're going to see successful business owners prioritizing their own ecosystem. So creating this like almost Disney World effect of what it's like to be in their world. So creating content based on your own strengths. So perhaps that looks like creating with your primary content type and then redistributing amongst many different platforms... or maybe that's creating one immersive long form system within one content type specifically.

There's so many different ways that you can apply this, and it really does depend on your experience, your industry, and your astrology. But it's going to be prioritizing owned media channels. So think of things like first and foremost your own platforms: your own email list, your own blog, your own private channels that aren't being built on someone else's platform.

But then if you are going to be using other long form channels, then media channels could also extend to things like YouTube, to podcasts ... places that really focus on quiet consumption and can redistribute attention to the platforms that you own.

So if you think about this ecosystem in terms of the podcast, for example: you record the podcast and then people are ready to listen to a long form conversation around your school of thought. This is a really great way for you to market your process and showcase all the different ways that it can help.

From there, people work with you directly in your offer from the podcast description based on the link that you put there. And so it's creating this ecosystem. And you can be as immersive as you want with this.

What I love about this trend, and that's really putting it lightly because this is essentially the next phase of marketing. It's really putting your unique IP at the forefront, rather than just being in response to where consumers are putting their attention digitally.

Again, thinking about the context of where we are currently in society and how people are responding to business. We're just tired of the same old, same old.

So if we're tired of what is being created currently, then we need new creations to take its place. We don't need to overwhelm this space with more AI slop. We need more original IP.

So in that same vein of business owners prioritizing their own thought leadership content within their own ecosystem, I think this is also going to extend to platforms and this divide specifically in going big or going home in terms of which platforms are gonna make it and which platforms are not.

We're already starting to see the response to this in 2025. But a lot of larger platforms: think Substack, Spotify, et cetera; they're making decisions that are not in alignment with their values or the values that they have put out there for their audience. So their natural response to that from the consumer and business owner standpoint is to reject this.

So I think in 2026, business owners prioritizing their own thought leadership content they're also going to have an effect on these platforms. And if you're choosing to incorporate or prioritize a non-owned media channel in your marketing ecosystem, I think that most business owners are going to be prioritizing and choosing established channels such as YouTube, META, you know, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest... platforms that have been here for a decade plus are gonna be prioritized a lot more than these newer platforms. And then these newer platforms are gonna have some sort of reckoning moment in response to how they are, or most likely are not, aligning to what they say that their values are. And just different ways that their models are going to be crumbling or brought to light in how they don't work in this new phase of how we're considering relationship and connection with each other.

It's funny because I'm beginning to see this as well with the critiques around a lot of these platforms. But I think like the veneer is going to be a lot less shiny, right? And newer platforms are not going to be as prioritized in favor for established channels and, most importantly, having your own ecosystem.

So I can't stress this enough if you don't already have your own platform where you can create and distribute content, as well as get in touch with your customers, with your community via an email list, your own website. These are things to get on right now as soon as possible.

So that is the second trend of 2026.

All right, so the third business trend based on the astrology of 2026 are collaborations. This is also super exciting, considering the trajectory of where Jupiter and Saturn going to be in 2026.

I've been talking about this already within the podcast, but people are getting a lot of digital fatigue. They're looking for ways and experiences outside of digital in order to build connection again. And that's really the sense of the overall direction of all these business trends. People want to be in touch with other humans again.

So collaborations are a really great way for you to both step away from digital spaces, especially if you have an in real life or a local based business, or an aspect of your business that you wanna explore in real life or in your local spaces... collaborations are a really great way to do that.

So I see this operating in a few main ways. The first one being what I consider to be un-AI-focused. Again, the technological fatigue that people are either going to be looking to get rid of technology overall, or there needs to be some sort of innovative way to utilize it.

So with the un-AI-focused collaborations, people want in real life, in real time, human-led with all of the messiness and imperfection at the forefront of that. So that's one aspect of those collaborations.

And then if you are going to incorporate technology, it's like thinking about tech that we are already familiar with that is already established and utilizing it in new ways. So this could look like incorporating streaming into your marketing ecosystem, right? Utilizing established channels such as YouTube for doing more livestreaming. And specifically if you have or operate within a niche community, this can also work really well in terms of bringing collaborations into your marketing ecosystem in general.

So collaborations in general and just spaces where you can gather with other like-minded people and bring your community together are going to be really great. I would especially look into this if you have an 11th house midheaven as well, because the cornerstone of your midheaven's power is in being seen and being recognized by your community. And so collaborations really go hand in hand with that for folks that have a community focused model in their business. This would be a really fantastic incorporation to your marketing plan overall, or even extended to your signature offers as well: creating an avenue where people have the opportunity to learn in real time with you.

So that is the third business trend of 2026.

Now, the fourth business trend based on the astrology of 2026 is almost an extension of personality leadership, but it's something that I'm calling multi-dimensional niching. So again, in terms of how specifically you're going to stand out and mark yourself as an authority over other folks who are working in the same realm as you. Your niche needs to evolve as well.

The way that most business owners are thinking about niching within their work is thinking about their niche as becoming known for just one thing.

So there's two schools of thought with that that are going on currently. It's either you are really doubling down on being known for one thing, or you're taking the multi-passionate approach and incorporating many different things with a connecting thread.

With multidimensional niching being more at the forefront, we're going to see less of niching being very stringent and very rigid. Again, it has to shift and evolve to incorporate space for personality leadership. But it's going to take a specific turn in that it's going to be about incorporating more intangible topics within your nicheing.

So really thinking about the things that maybe are disparate or disconnected, unrelated to each other, really coming together to help you shape what your niche actually is. Even the incorporation of your human experiences and how that is shaping and helping to evolve your work.

Have you had a childhood dream of becoming a ballerina, or publishing a book, or running a marathon? Those things seem like they have nothing to do with your business. But in bringing it together through storytelling, through sharing your journey through, just letting your audience know this is something that you're working on, or it's a goal that you have for the year, it helps to bring in that multi-dimensional aspect to your nicheing and undoubtedly help to shape your own personality leadership as well.

So incorporating niching in that way and expanding it beyond being very rigid and becoming very known in a narrow sort of way... rather than doing that, we're going to see that as the antithesis of limiting yourself to just one topic or only showcasing one side of your whole human experience.

So that's the fourth business trend to be on the lookout for.

Now this is the fifth business trend based on the astrology of 2026, and it's something that I'm calling releasing the pedestal.

With the direction of business in general, the astrology of 2026 really wants us to lean into authentic action.

It wants us to break down these barriers and stop overcomplicating things, which you know is my absolute favorite thing. So releasing the pedestal is really breaking down these barriers of what is required in order to have access to business owners directly. This isn't about being specific in who you help, how you help them... the qualifications that people may need to be at in order to really utilize the work that you offer and make the most out of that. This is really talking about breaking down the level of access that people have to you.

If we go back to the second business trend, thought leadership content in your own ecosystem. If we think about it in this way, incorporating releasing the pedestal into this trend would look like not putting everything behind a paywall.

The barrier to access is not so high that it is now turning off the people that actually need it. It's making it as simple as possible for you to be found, be seen, be visible, and then for folks to take that next step and directly work with you. 'cause at the end of the day, we gotta make some money in our business.

This also looks like making the systems that you are incorporating as simple as possible. I've already seen this in 2025. But in 2026, seeing more business owners get rid of their complicated funnels. So no more countdown timers and 50 funnel systems in place. Instead, it can be as simple as here's the content and here's my offer, and as less fluff as possible in between that in order to move people directly to where they need to be: inside of your offer.

2026 is really shaped around how well you are able to own your authenticity and also to take action inspired by that authenticity in the direction of where you want to be. So the more that you can do that is going to lead to success. That also requires you to get rid of the stuff that is going to hinder that process to flow as easily as possible. So we need to release that pedestal and release this idea that absolutely everything needs to be behind a paywall. Absolutely everything needs to be gatekept. And like really just get clear on exactly what it is that you do, how you do it, and get better at quantifying what systems need to be put in place. And then also get clear on your own boundaries as a business owner in general. 'cause that's really the heart of it.

So that is the fifth business trend, based on the astrology of 2026.

With all of these business trends, you're really seeing the thread that authentic action is really helping to shape, and how that Jupiterian and Saturn influence is really coming through with these business trends.

I am really excited for the ways that this is going to develop and evolve throughout the year, and really set the stage for emerging trends in the following years as well.

I would love to hear which of these business trends really stood out for you, and even how you're thinking about incorporating them in your own business as well.

Thank you so much for joining me in this episode, and I can't wait for you to join me in the next one. Bye!
