Andrew Rogencamp:

Hey there. My name is Andrew Roggenkamp. This is a podcast we plan to do each month, certainly for the year of 2020, and we'll see how next year goes. But what we want to talk about a lot is B2B and B2C e commerce. E commerce, especially B2B e commerce was in its absolute infancy twenty years ago.

Andrew Rogencamp:

And my business partner and founder of Commerce Vision decided that it was going to be a really important thing, and he was right. Here we are twenty years later, and really, really in the last couple of years, certainly B2B has become the flavor of the day and everybody is talking about B2B e commerce and how it can really change the world. I think that's saying a lot, but if you think about the difference between B2B and B2C, B2C has introduced a different way for people to shop. It's sort of taken people out of the retail stores and bought them online, whereas B2B, it's pretty exciting. It's got some great ways of gaining efficiencies in the supply chain and increasing customer service throughout that supply chain as well.

Andrew Rogencamp:

So I think B2B is especially exciting in the e commerce world. What I want to do is share what I've learned and what my colleagues have learned over the last twenty years to help other people out there achieve their digital dreams. So over the coming months, we're going to be talking to various topics. Some of them, it'll just be me talking, but a lot of them, we're going to be interviewing people in our industry down here in Australia, they represent some of the largest companies in the world. We're going to be talking to some guys from ChannelAdvisor, certainly about the Amazon Marketplace, some people about email marketing, especially in the B2B arena.

Andrew Rogencamp:

We're going to be talking to somebody from a company called Bunzl, which is a pretty big B2B distribution company, and some other special guests as the year goes on. So stay tuned for that.
