Henry: Welcome To Immerse: The
Daily Bible Reading Experience.
Day three hundred and 12.
The Psalms book five, Psalm 107
through Psalm 150, Psalm 107.
Give thanks to the Lord for he is good,
his faithful love endures forever.
Has the Lord redeemed you?
Then speak out.
Tell others.
He has redeemed you from your enemies.
For he has gathered the exiles
from many lands, from east and
west, from north and south.
Some wandered in the wilderness,
lost in homeless, hungry and thirsty.
They nearly died.
Lord help.
They cried in their trouble and he
rescued them from their distress.
He'd led them straight to safety
to a city where they could live.
Let them praise the Lord for his
great love and for the wonderful
things he has done for them.
For he satisfies the thirsty and
fills the hungry with good things.
Some said in darkness and deepest gloom.
Imprisoned in iron, chains of misery,
they rebelled against the words of God.
Scorning the council of the most high.
That is why he broke them with hard labor.
They fell and no one
was there to help them.
Lord help.
They cried in their trouble and
he saved them from their distress.
He led them from the
darkness and deepest gloom.
He snapped their chains.
Let them praise the Lord for his
great love and for the wonderful
things he has done for them.
For, he broke down their
prison gates of bronze.
He cut apart their bars of iron.
Some were fools.
They rebelled and suffered for their sins.
They couldn't stand the thought of food,
and they were knocking on death's door.
Lord help.
They cried in their trouble and
he saved them from their distress.
He sent out his word and healed them,
snatching them from the door of death.
Let them praise the Lord for his
great love and for the wonderful
things he has done for them.
Let them offer sacrifices of thanksgiving
and sing joyfully about his glorious acts.
Some went off to see and ships
plying the trade routes of the world.
They too observed the
Lord's power in action.
His impressive works on the deepest seas.
He spoke and the winds
rose stirring up the waves.
Their ships were tossed to the heavens
and plunged again to the debts.
The sail is cringed in terror.
They reeled and staggered like
drunkards, and were at their wits end.
Lord help.
They cried in their trouble and
he saved them from their distress.
He calmed the storm to a
whisper and stilled the waves.
What a blessing was that stillness as
he brought them safely into harbor.
Let them praise the Lord for his
great love and for the wonderful
things he has done for them.
Let them exalt him publicly
before the congregation and
before the leaders of the nation.
He changes rivers into deserts and
springs of water into dry, thirsty land.
He turns the fruitful land
into salty wastelands.
Because of the wickedness
of those who live there.
But he also turns deserts into pools of
water, the dry land into springs of water.
He brings the hungry to settle
there and to build their cities.
They sow their fields, plant their
vineyards, and harvest their bumper crops.
How he blesses them, they raise
large families there, and their
herds of livestock increase.
When they decrease in number and become
impoverished through oppression, trouble,
and sorrow, the Lord pours contempt
on their princess, causing them to
wander in trackless wastelands, but he
rescues the poor from TR and increases
their families like flocks of sheep.
The Godly will see these things and be
glad while the wicked are struck silent.
Those who are wise will
take all this to heart.
They will see in our history
the faithful love of the Lord.
Psalm 108, a song, a Psalm of
David, my heart is confident in you.
Oh God, no wonder I can sing
your praises with all my heart.
Wake up, liar and harp.
I will wake the dawn with my song.
I will.
Thank you Lord among all the people.
I will sing your praises
among the nations.
For your unfailing love is
higher than the heavens.
Your faithfulness reaches to the clouds.
Be exalted.
Oh God, above the highest heavens.
May your glory shine over all the earth.
Now rescue your beloved people.
Answer and save us by your power.
God has promised this by His holiness.
I will divide up sheam with joy.
I will measure out the valley of eth.
Gilead is mine and Manasa too.
Ry am.
My helmet will produce
my warriors and Judah.
My scepter will produce my kings.
But Moab, my wash basin will become my
servant and I will wipe my feet on Edam
and shout and triumph over Felicia who
will bring me into the fortified city,
who will bring me victory over Edem.
Have you rejected us?
Oh God.
Will you no longer march with our armies?
Oh, please help us against our enemies.
For all human help is useless.
With God's help, we will do mighty
things for he will trample down our foes.
Psalm 109 for the choir
director, a Psalm of David.
Oh God, whom I praise don't stand
silent and aloof while the wicked
slander me and tell lies about me.
They surround me with hateful words
and fight against me for no reason.
I love them, but they try to
destroy me with accusations
even as I am praying for them.
They repay evil for good
and hatred for my love.
They say, get an evil
person to turn against him.
Send an accuser to bring him to trial.
When his case comes up for judgment,
let him be pronounced guilty.
Count his prayers as sins.
Let his years be you.
Let someone else take his position.
May his children become
fatherless and his wife a widow.
May his children wander as beggars
and be driven from their ruined homes.
May creditors seize his entire estate
and strangers take all he has earned.
Let no one be kind to him.
Let no one pity his fatherless.
Children.
May all his offspring die.
May his family name be blotted
out in the next generation.
May the Lord never forget
the sins of his father's.
May his mother's sins never
be erased from the record.
May the Lord always remember
these sins, and may his name
disappear from human memory.
For he refused all kindness to others.
He persecuted the poor and needy, and
he hounded the broken hearted to death.
He loved to curse others.
Now you curse him.
He never blessed others.
Now don't you bless him.
Cursing is as natural to him
as his clothing or the water he
drinks, or the rich food he eats.
Now may his curses return and
clinging to him like clothing.
May they be tied around him like a belt.
May those curses become the Lord's
punishment for my accusers who speak
evil of me, but deal well with me.
Oh, sovereign Lord, for the sake of your
own reputation, rescue me because you
are so faithful and good for I am poor
and needy, and my heart is full of pain.
I am fading like a shadow.
At dusk, I am brushed off like a locust.
My knees are weak from fasting
and I am skin and bones.
I am a joke to people everywhere.
When they see me, they shake
their heads and scorn help me.
Oh lord, my God.
Save me because of your unfailing love.
Let them see that this is your doing,
that you yourself have done it Lord.
Then let them curse me if they like, but
you will bless me when they attack me.
They will be disgraced, but I, your
servant will go right on rejoicing.
May my accusers be clothed with disgrace.
May their humiliation
cover them like a cloak.
But I will give repeated
thanks to the Lord.
Praising him to everyone for
he stands beside the needy.
Ready to save them from
those who condemn them.
Psalm 110 A Psalm of David, the Lord said
to my Lord, sit in the place of honor at
my right hand until I humble your enemies,
making them a footstool under your feet.
The Lord will extend your
powerful kingdom from Jerusalem.
You will rule over your
enemies when you go to war.
Your people will serve you willingly.
You are arrayed in holy garments and
your strength will be renewed each day.
Like the morning de.
The Lord has taken an oath
and will not break his vowel.
You are a priest forever
in the order of melek.
The Lord stands at your
right hand to protect you.
He will strike down many
kings when his anger erupts.
He will punish the nations and
fill their lands with corpses.
He will shatter heads over the
whole earth, but he himself will be
refreshed from Brooks along the way.
He will be victorious.
Psalm 111.
Praise the Lord.
I will thank the Lord with all my
heart as I meet with his Godly people.
How amazing are the deeds of the Lord?
All who delight in him should ponder them.
Everything he does reveals
his glory in majesty.
His righteousness never fails.
He causes us to remember
his wonderful works.
How gracious and merciful is our Lord.
He gives food to those who fear him.
He always remembers his covenant.
He has shown his great power to his people
by giving them the lands of other nations.
All he does is just and good, and
all his commandments are trustworthy.
They are forever true, to be obeyed
faithfully and with integrity.
He has paid a full ransom for his people.
He has guaranteed his
covenant with them forever.
What a holy, all inspiring name he has.
Fear of the Lord is the
foundation of true wisdom.
All who obey his commandments
will grow in wisdom.
Praise him forever.
Some one 112.
Praise the Lord.
How joyful are those who fear the Lord
and delight in obeying his commands?
Their children will be
successful everywhere.
An entire generation of
Godly people will be blessed.
They themselves will be wealthy and
their good deeds will last forever.
Light shines in the
darkness for the Godly.
They are generous,
compassionate, and righteous.
Good comes to those who lend
money generously and conduct
their business fairly.
Such people will not be overcome by evil.
Those who are righteous
will be long remembered.
They do not fear bad news.
They confidently trust
the Lord to care for them.
They are confident and fearless and
can face their foes triumphantly.
They share freely and give
generously to those in need.
Their good deeds will
be remembered forever.
They will have influence and honor.
The wicked will see
this and be infuriated.
They will grind their teeth and anger.
They will sl away their hopes thwarted.
Psalm 113, praise the Lord.
Yes, give praise old servants of the Lord.
Praise the name of the Lord.
Blessed be the name of the Lord now and
forever, everywhere from east to west.
Praise the name of the Lord.
For the Lord is high above the nations,
his glory is higher than the heavens.
Who can be compared with the Lord
our God, who is enthroned on high.
He stoops to look down
on heaven and on earth.
He lifts the poor from the dust and
the needy from the garbage stump.
He sets them among princes, even
the princes of his own people.
He gives the childless woman a
family, making her a happy mother.
Praise the Lord.
Psalm 114.
When the Israelites escaped from Egypt,
when the family of Jacob left that foreign
land, the land of Judah became God's
sanctuary, and Israel became his kingdom.
The Red Sea saw them coming in,
her hurried out of their way.
The water of the Jordan River turned away.
The mountains skipped like
rams, the hills like lambs.
What's wrong?
Red Sea that made you
hurry out of their way.
What happened, Jordan
River that you turned away.
Why mountains did you skip?
Like Rams.
Why hills like lambs, tremble O Earth
at the presence of the Lord, at the
presence of the God of Jacob, he
turned the rock into a pool of water.
Yes, A spring of water
flowed from solid rock.
Psalm 115, not to us, oh Lord, not to
us, but to your name goes all the glory
for your unfailing love and faithfulness.
Why let the nation say,
where is their God?
Our God is in the heavens,
and he does as he wishes.
Their idols are merely things of
silver and gold shaped by human hands.
They have mouths but cannot
speak and eyes, but cannot see.
They have ears but cannot hear
and noses, but cannot smell.
They have hands but cannot feel,
and feet, but cannot walk and
throats, but cannot make a sound.
And those who make idols are just like
them, as are all who trust in them.
Oh, Israel, trust the Lord.
He is your helper and your shield.
Oh priests, descendants of Aaron.
Trust the Lord.
He is your helper and your shield.
All you who fear the Lord.
Trust the Lord.
He is your helper and your shield.
The Lord remembers us and will bless us.
He will bless the people of
Israel and bless the priests,
the descendants of Aaron.
He will bless those who fear
the Lord both great and lowly.
May the Lord richly bless
both you and your children.
May you be blessed by the Lord
who made heaven and earth.
The heavens belong to the Lord, but he
has given the earth to all humanity.
The dead cannot sing praises
to the Lord for they have gone
into the silence of the grave.
But we can praise the
Lord both now and forever.
Praise the Lord
some 116.
I love the Lord because he hears
my voice and my prayer for mercy.
Because he bends down to listen.
I will pray.
As long as I have breath death
wrapped, its ropes around me.
The terrors of the grave overtook me.
I saw only trouble and sorrow.
Then I called on the name of the Lord.
Please, Lord, save me.
How kind the Lord is.
How good he is.
So merciful, this God of ours.
The Lord protects those
of childlike faith.
I was facing death and he saved me.
Let my soul be at rest again.
For the Lord has been good to me.
He has saved me from death, my eye
from tears, my feet from stumbling,
and so I walk in the Lord's
presence as I live here on earth.
I believed in you, so I said
I am deeply troubled, Lord.
In my anxiety, I cried out to you.
These people are all liars.
What can I offer the Lord
for all he has done for me?
I will lift up the cup of salvation and
praise the Lord's name for saving me.
I will keep my promises to the Lord
and the presence of all his people.
The Lord cares deeply
when his loved ones die.
Oh Lord, I am your servant.
Yes, I am your servant
born into your household.
You have freed me from my chains.
I will offer you a sacrifice
of thanksgiving and call
on the name of the Lord.
I will fulfill my vows to the Lord
in the presence of all his people.
In the house of the Lord,
in the heart of Jerusalem.
Praise the Lord.
Psalm 117, praise the Lord.
All you nations.
Praise him.
All you people of the earth.
For His unfailing love for us is powerful.
The Lord's faithfulness endures forever.
Praise the Lord.
