Welcome. Your art is a spell and it will
change your life and the world around you.
Hello and welcome or welcome back to Your Art is
a Spell. This is the second to last episode of
season 1 and today we're going to be doing some
really exciting things. First of all, I'm going
to be selecting a person to win a free 30 minute
tarot reading with me at the end of this video.
This has been such an incredible season
with so many wonderful, magical guests.
We've gotten into some powerful conversations
around art practice, AI, hairdressing, drag.
There has been so much that's unfolded over this
season. And I just wanted to share as a personal
update. I know that it's taken me a moment to
bring this episode and to close out the season,
but I've been navigating some health concerns
that I've had. I injured my back a couple of
months ago and it's thrown everything off in my
life. And on top of that, I'm also navigating some
personal things in my life with my family and with
other families and with friends. There's so much
happening and we're also living in such an intense
time right now. We're witnessing so much violence
here in the United States as well as abroad in
multiple countries. There is so much for us to
really feel called to speak about and talk about.
And I am really grateful for this platform because
it's a space where we can share and uplift and
talk together. And I've been really, really moved
by all of the emails, the messages that you all
have sent me, the encouragement, the questions,
the care. I just really want to thank you all for
making this season so so incredible and beyond
anything I could have ever imagined. This podcast
has been downloaded over 2,000 times in almost
40 countries. We have hundreds and hundreds of
views on YouTube and I've actually been a little
overwhelmed by the amount of people reaching out
offering sponsorships, wanting to collaborate,
asking me to be on their podcast, wanting to be
on this podcast. And so I know there's some of
you who are waiting to hear from me. Just wanted
to let you know that I've gotten your message,
but it might take me a moment. But I am trying
to reach out to everyone who's contacted me and
I'm doing it little by little to not overwhelm my
own system cuz, you know, I'm a highly sensitive
person. It is just me running this podcast. I'm
hopeful to be able to hire some people at some
point to support me, but at this moment, it is
just myself. And these podcasts take a lot of
work. That is something I really learned this
season is that podcasting is a labor of love
and it definitely takes up so much time and space
to be able to bring this information out to you
all. With that said, I really want to just talk
a little bit about the place that we're in right
now as a society, as a culture. There is so much
fragmentation that has happened as a result of the
internet. And we are also living through a time
where we are seeing information being gatekept,
burned, censored. I think it is so important
to remind you all that we are in a hermit year.
This year is all about diving deep into the
underground, knowing that we need we need need to
create spaces for us to connect that are not the
mainstream normative spaces that are given to us.
There is so much power to people organizing,
connecting in spaces that are encrypted,
that are offline, that are in-person only. These
are definitely things that we need to take heed of
moving forward, knowing that there will be things
that will come into our life to try to surveil us,
extract from us, keep us from each other, and we
need to stay connected and share what's important
for our communities. I'm going to be linking
some places where you can support with some
of the things happening in our world right now.
I don't want to mention what those things are,
but if you're looking at this on YouTube, it'll
be in the video description or if you're listening
to this on a podcast, check out the podcast note.
You will find those links there. And I really want
to encourage you to stay aware of what's happening
in the world. Support local organizations. support
things happening in other countries. This is such
an important time for us to not tune out, to stay
connected and to also forge other pathways knowing
that it is so so necessary for us to realize our
power and that we don't need certain platforms or
certain technologies. I think that's one of the
reasons why I have felt so called to talk about
psychic phenomena this season because I really
want to remind us that we are able to communicate
telepathically. This isn't makebelieve. This isn't
delusion. This is our goddexx given birthight.
We all have come onto this plane with an ability
to connect to other beings. Whether they're
humans, animals, crystals, elements, we are
able to connect, open up, tune in, hold space for,
be present for other beings. And I want to just
remind us about that as we move towards further
further escalating surveillance and censorship
that we're going to witness online and offline.
Now, with that said, with that out of the way,
I want to also remind you that this episode is
going to have some fun, lighter things. I'm going
to be answering some of your questions that you
also lovingly sent in. I'm going to be selecting
one of those people to receive a free tote bag.
I'm placing it right here so you can see what it
looks like. I'm going to be selecting one person
at the end of this video to receive this free tote
bag. And then I'm also going to be reading some
of your wonderful reviews that you've left me and
I'm going to be selecting one of those people to
receive a free 30inut tarot reading with me. Now,
in the name of also sharing love and gratitude
to all of you for all of your care and support
this season, I want to offer us a reading. This is
going to be a two card reading. It is for whatever
moment you're in. Whenever you listen to this,
this is a nonlinear reading. So at whatever moment
you hear this reading, it is meant to touch
you at this moment. So let me get my cards.
All right. So, just inviting you
to get present, get comfortable,
maybe ask a question again, knowing that this
is a reading that's going out to the cosmos,
going out to the collective. And I'm filming
this at the beginning of August 2025. But again,
this is a nonlinear reading, so it will
be available for you whenever you need it.
Okay. So, just kind of letting myself feel the
energy of these cards. I like to just connect and
put my awareness, my attention on the cards. I'm
going to be selecting one card for your Sun sign.
So, just want to show you what we've gotten here.
This is the three of keys. So your sun sign needs
to hear this message that you are allowed to
be messy, to be in process, to need to iterate,
to start over, that you are allowed to not be
perfect and to show up as you are. I did not
write a script for this video. I'm just coming
in cold and letting myself open up and channel.
That's what this card is about. You are connected
to spirit. You have a sacred gift of being able to
let your body be a channel for other energies. You
need to learn to trust in that. And yes, it will
be messy. Yes, you might have to start over or
edit. That is the whole point. So, if you've had
an idea and this is again thinking about your
sun sign and what your sun sign represents to
you. Mine is in Gemini and I think a lot about
communication expansion. I have so much shame
around how my Gemini sun likes to jump around
and be multi-dimensional. how I flitter around
seeking information, consuming, coalescing. And so
hearing this message, it really is a blessing and
a gift to that ability that I have knowing that
I have been shamed by others for being too messy,
too disorganized, too all over the place. And
this is an affirming message to say that is how
spirit that is how nature works. Nature doesn't
get it perfect the first time. She tries again
and again. She does not stop. She allows life
force energy to move through her and shape her.
That is what this card's about. So just think of
your sun sign. Think about what this might mean
for your sun sign. Love to hear in the comments
below, how you are taking this message. And now
we're going to move to our moon sign, which is our
interiority, our inner space, how we feel inside.
The sun sign is really about our external, how we
externalize our self into the world. So that's why
I was talking about art or projects or things that
we're working on, things that we're interfacing
the public with. And wow, we get the nine of
bones for our interior space. The nine of bones.
Wow. So this is a card of the medicine person, of
the shaman, of the being that is able to travel
between dimensions. We have such sacred connection
within. This is a reminder that we are not alone.
We are deeply embedded within ancestral
ties. These ancestors want to work with us,
collaborate with us, connect with us to support us
in our next steps. So thinking about my own moon
sign in Scorpio, I think about the power that
I feel to be able to hold energy, to be able to
integrate and take things in. I also think about
my comfort with the darkness, with the taboo,
with the uncomfortable. I have a blessed gift that
I've received from my ancestors to be able to hold
space to be able to connect myself and others
to that transdimensional space. This card is
all about connecting earth and heavens being
a bridge, being a conduit. So, both of these
messages I really do feel are speaking to us,
opening up and channeling more, opening up to our
psychic gifts more. And that's really something
that I'm going to be focusing on in season two.
I want to be a lot more interactive. I want us
to really work at developing our psychic gifts.
And I do want to say here on this podcast, I'm
sharing a little bit of intel. I am going to be
offering tarot readings again in the future. So,
I want to invite you to get onto my newsletter by
going to yourartisaspell.com because I will only
be announcing readings through this newsletter. I
have not been giving readings for a few years now,
mostly because I was impersonated on Instagram
over 25 times. I go over this in a video where I
shared why I'm no longer on Instagram or at least
why I've quiet quit Instagram. And so for a while,
I just felt like I need to get as far away as I
can from these readings. But I'm really feeling
called now, especially in this moment where we
are needing spiritual guidance. I'm feeling called
to reopen my books again and just reiterating
that the only way you'll be able to know when I
have availability to offer one-on-one readings is
through my newsletter, which you can find by going
to your art is a spell.com. And I'm just like so
thrilled to be able to offer them again because
I have done readings. I've been invited, for
example, recently I was invited to do a special
night at the library in downtown Los Angeles where
I read for over 50 people. I'm actually going
to be doing a reading event again this month,
later this month, for another special event. And
so, I have been doing public readings out in the
world, but I have not done my one-on-one readings
for quite some time. So, just wanted to let you
all know that. Just know that that's coming. and
also that season two of your art is a spell is
going to have some incredible guests. We're going
to have some wonderful, magical, powerful things
to collaborate on. And I'm going to get even
more witchy, more taboo. I'm going to be sharing
about my own experiences as someone who is highly
sensitive and psychic. I'm going to talk about my
time in the GATE program and how that connects
to the CIA-funded remote viewing programs. I'm
going to share about my experience in the program.
And I'm going to talk about so much more. And if
there's anyone you feel like I should reach out to
for season 2, let me know. I love receiving your
comments, your requests. I love you all connecting
me with folks. The last guest I had on Your Art is
a spell, Uma Gahd, came from a wonderful listener
and dear friend Amy Torok of the Missing Witches.
I have here their incredible oracle deck. This is
the deck of oracles from Missing Witches podcast.
And I also have a video where I go over this
deck here on my channel if you're interested
in seeing this on YouTube. Now, without further
ado, I'm going to move on to the next part of
today's episode where I'm going to be listening
or reading and responding to your questions. Okay,
the first question I'm going to answer is from
Mary Lanham. I hope I'm saying your name right,
Mary. Mary asks, "Hi, Edgar. I'd love to hear if
you have any suggestions on particularly effective
spellcraft for overcoming artistic and creative
blocks. Either blocks around money baggage or
more general blocks around feeling worthy of
flow and joy as a part of creative practice.
Wow. Thank you so much for this question, Mary.
It really hits me because I remember when I first
started to decide to live my life as an artist.
I remember how much noise came up around this
decision. I would have days where I would have
the full day open to make art and instead I would
sit there worried about money, feeling angry at
myself, having so much self- judgment because I
wasn't working or wasn't doing something to
make money in that moment. I have really had
to unlearn and decouple this idea that time
equals money and also this idea that effort
labor equals money. These are things that we've
been ingrained with that we've internalized from
this extractive violent patriarchal capitalist
system. And so because so many of us have those
voices that come up that are judgmental, won't
let us rest, you know, won't let us play, it is
so important to start to develop other voices that
nurture, that support us, that want us to create.
I want to invite you to work with
the spellcraft of conjuring energies,
inviting forward energies that are supportive.
These energies could be elements, colors,
they could be beings like deities or ancestors.
When we invite these energies forward,
I want you to listen to what they have to
share around your rest, your play, your joy,
your pleasure. All of these elements that we know
create incredible art and also allow us to live a
life that is worth living that gives us meaning
and that also helps us show up as the sacred
vessels that we are. So just to give an example
of how I have worked with this in the past on
days where I notice some of this guilt coming in,
some of this anxiety or fear around money or time,
I will invite forward ancestors, deities, colors
that I know can envelop me with other narratives.
narratives that tell me that my art is
super important, that my rest is important,
my joy is important, my pleasure is important. And
I wait until those voices start to drown out the
other voices. And sometimes if that does not work,
I will stand up and dance. I will sing. I will
bring some toys out and start playing. anything
I could do to start to move energy around.
Stagnation does not allow us to create and we
need flow and flow can happen in so many different
ways. So I'll sometimes even play video games or
I'll bring out my tarot cards and pull a card,
invite in an archetype. There's so many ways that
you can get creative around working through some
of these barriers that can show up and get in the
way of our creative practice. Thank you so much,
Mary, for this incredible question. I'm so
sure that there are people listening who
needed to hear this question and I hope that my
answer is supportive and would love to hear if
you all have any other answers for Mary around
navigating artistic and creative blocks. Okay,
this next question comes from Maeve Hanna who's
a wonderful friend of mine and an incredible arts
writer in Canada. Maeve asks, "As a question,
I'm neurodivergent, disabled, and so very
underemployed. I was recently diagnosed with
ADHD and other illnesses were confirmed for me,
and this was incredibly illuminating. It answered
a lot of questions for me regarding struggles
I have had. The biggest for me is I have trouble
maintaining jobs other than when I work for myself
and I have trouble concentrating or focusing on
my writing." I really related hard to Michelle
Tea talking about how hard writing is and it
was really difficult for her sticking to it.
I wonder if any of your listeners have struggled
with this and might have any advice or tips and
or whatever you might have as an offering maybe
as an art spell for dispelling loss of focus.
Wow. So I want to thank you so much Maeve for
sharing as much as you did and also letting
us really know how this question is connected to
you as a person as well as to your practices. Now
I want to really start off by saying that one
of the reasons I have decided to really get
off of social media and to stop using my phone
as much is that I have noticed a decrease in
my ability to focus. This is something that is
happening systemically, endemically all around
to everybody. So, you are not alone when it comes
to this mave. One way I've been really trying to
redevelop my ability to focus is by practicing
moments, bursts of focus throughout the day. I
see focus almost like a muscle that we can train
and that we can really expand on and get stronger,
aka be able to have longer moments of
focus the more we practice. And of course,
I want to really acknowledge that being
neuro divergent, neurospicy, neuroqueer.
And so I really want to invite you to honor your
system and to notice any adaptations that will
support you in being able to focus for longer,
more extended periods of time. Some of the ways
that folks that I know who are also neurodiverse
have supported themselves are by focusing while
walking, focusing while having a fidget spinner
or a toy to play with, something to ground in,
having an animal or plant companion nearby that
the person can reach out to or just connect with
energetically. and really working on developing
compassion for yourself, knowing that we are
living within fragmented times that really make
focus so difficult. And so just normalizing that
this is something that is hard, just like writing
is hard, and that this is something that's going
to require effort, practice, and returning back
to it over and over again. Now, I want you to
think of moments in your life where you're able
to maintain your focus. Maybe it might be reading,
or it might be doom scrolling, or maybe you might
be able to really focus when you're cleaning or
when you're talking to a friend. Just notice those
moments so that you can become more aware of how
you're using your focus and how your focus can
really expand or contract. just becoming aware of
it so that you know when you're really practicing
this muscle and so that you can get a sense of it
as an experiential moment in your life in your
day. This experience can help you really notice
what it feels like in your body when you're
engrossed, when you're focused, when you're
really all in. And then in those sacred moments
when we get into the flow and we lose touch of
time and we really get lost in our writing or
in our art practice, that is something else to
also notice because these are ideal moments that
really nourish our creative practice. But again,
it is a practice. It takes time. It is messy.
It is hard. And I want to really normalize that.
I also want to speak to one other thing you
mentioned Maeve in your question is that you
have a hard time you know sticking to jobs unless
it's your own work and you know this is something
that I've also had to contend with. I've had a
lot of different jobs. I have had a lot of toxic
job environments unfortunately we live in such an
extractive exploitative system that is just set up
to abuse us. And so I've had so many unfortunate
moments in my career that have really made me
question working for other people. I never thought
I would become a business owner. I never thought
that I would be fully supporting myself with my
businesses. But I also knew that the other life of
having a boss or having a toxic work environment
to go to every day was not going to be supportive
for my own health. So I've done the work to really
understand how much it takes to start a business
and how to be a business person. And I know you
already have your practice as an arts writer.
That is your business. And I just want to maybe
invite you to think of it a little bit more like
a business. And what I mean by that is, are there
ways that you could be marketing yourself more?
Are there ways that you could invest in yourself
or that you could start to imagine what it would
be like for you to be the CEO of your business
and to make larger decisions around your business.
These are just things that I would like to just
invite you to get curious around to notice what
comes up as I ask these questions and would love
to hear from you if you'd like to let me know
and follow up. Maeve I would just love to know if
any of this advice is supportive for you. And may
you asked our listeners to give you any advice
they had. If there are any writers out there,
any artists, anyone who wants to share about
focus, how you get into a place of focus, how you
practice it, I would love to hear from you all.
So, please leave your comments here as well. Okay,
this next question comes from TQ or TzeQing, I hope
I'm saying your name right. Um they write and ask
the question as a somatic therapist did you use
somatics to help yourself process and move past
any internalized anti- capitalist shame you might
have had around money. I love this question.
This is such a great question and I want to just
remind folks if you're listening to this podcast
and you haven't heard the episode I have around
the u punk damage that some of us go through or
the way that being anti- capitalist can actually
harm us and make us not as empowered as we need
to be to affect the change that we want to see
in the world. I want to invite you to check out
that episode. I will be linking it in the show
notes as well as here on the YouTube video. If
you're watching this, you could see it linked
right here. Now, yes, I have had the honor,
the honestly gift of receiving somatic therapy
from a lot of incredible practitioners and I have
definitely worked on inherited scripts, feelings,
sensations I've had around money. There are so
many stories that we pick up around money. Many
of them are unconscious. They're not explicit.
We just believe them. We can't see beyond them
lots of times. And so it is so helpful to have
other people be able to mirror back our stories so
that we can really take time to decide if that's
what we want to believe moving forward instead of
moving from that place or living from that place
because we can't see beyond it. There are definite
somatic practices that I've learned. For example,
grounding or making sure that I feel safe within
my body has been an incredible practice. Early on,
as I mentioned before, I had so much panic come
up around money. And this panic came up both in
feeling like I didn't deserve to be an artist or
I didn't deserve to take time to explore what it
could be like to not be working all the time or
that I would end up being broke and having to
live on my own on the street because I was
not paying the man right paying the bills.
This could literally bring up so much terror in
your body that you become either incapacitated,
you have a panic attack, or you feel so much
anxiety that anything else really makes no
sense. And so I've had to really work a lot with
somatic practices of grounding, of reconnecting
with myself, to acknowledge these emotions, and to
also do practices that help me feel safer, and to
really let my system know that like, hey, here in
this moment, you are safe. You are safe. There's
nothing happening here in this moment that needs
you to be panicking. And when I finally have been
able to get myself back down into a place where
I feel that safety and security, then I start to
ask other questions or I get curious around what
else can happen here. Now, specifically when it
has come to the anti- capitalist mindset, there
are so many feelings of self-righteousness of
judgment that have come up around money. I have
seen myself project these feelings onto other
business owners or onto people that in my head
I've decided have sold out or have more financial
resources behind them than I do and it brings up
like anger or resentment. Just being honest here.
These are also moments where I know that I need to
practice grounding and to bring myself back to my
body so that I can feel safe and secure again
knowing that projection is only coming from a
place of either fear or insecurity or of course I
want to name that there are moments of righteous
rage. We live in an incredibly unjust world. There
are people who have a leg up, who have support,
who have financial support, who are a part of like
nepotistic opportunities, right? Like these are
real things. And so I do not want to discredit
those things. So these are real emotions that
we can feel that we should honor, not dismiss,
not bypass, and at the same time remember that
when our body feels safety and security, we
can really come at our creative practices,
at our relationships, from a place where we can
actually learn, get curious, and grow. And so
again, just really want to name that I validate
these emotions. I feel them and then I ground. I
connect with myself. I bring safety in. I connect
with a friend and then I'm able to get curious,
ask questions and or return to my creative
practice. I really hope that's supportive for you,
TQ. And I also want to take a moment to share some
of your art that you brought in that I think is
so incredible. So TQ shared a Zine that they were
working on back in May of this year called a Zine
open call for disabled QTI BIPOC digital workers.
And I'm going to show here a flyer that they
shared with me. And I hope TQ that you are doing a
project like this in the future in case folks want
to get involved. I love that you're bringing
together these different perspectives into an
zine. And if anyone wants to get in touch with
TzeQing or TQ, I'm going to put your website
info here in case folks want to connect with you.
Thank you so much for reaching out to your art is
a spell. So, next we have a voice note from Siri
Guru Dev. I'm going to share their message here.
And while they are sharing their message, I'm also
going to share some of their gorgeous artwork so
that you could see what they're talking about in
their message. Hi Edgar, this is Siri Gurdev. I'm
um multi-disiplinary artist and scholar and
educator from Boota, Colombia. Um just really
blessed to have your podcast. I am such a fan and
I wanted to share with you um mixed media piece
that I'm creating called Moon Traveler Companion
which is based on my moon card tarot year trying
and being very obsessed with the moon and all
the eclipses that happened. This project is like
a collage with pictures of the moon and my dog
which is my companion and me in different like
uh facets of alienike existence in on earth. Um,
and I just wanted to tell you that the idea of my
art as a spell has really clicked and has given me
a framework to understand better what I do because
I do spells with my art and because you provided
that framework. I am infinitely grateful to
think through those lens myself as well. So many
blessings and prosperity your way. Much gracias.
Thank you so much for that lovely message,
Siri Guru Dev. I really appreciate it. I am
so honored to receive your reflections and your
care. Thank you so much. And the next person
I'm going to share a message from is Kianga
Janaki. And they shared this lovely message.
Edgar, this podcast blew my mind. I had started
listening to an earlier podcast of yours and
I fell asleep and this one entered my dreams
and I got such a download of a project to do
um through what you were sharing about creating
art that connects the past, the present, and the
future. [ __ ] that was so wild. I've already
shared it in the middle of the night. It is
4:30 in the morning here. I've already sent that
that podcast to two people. Thank you so much.
You opened up so much for me as an artist. Oh, my
name is Kianga. Uh Kianga Janaki. Um I am I am so
ready to create like these prayer vessels. That's
what came to me, you know, even before you told
us to close our eyes and visualize something
like they had already come to me, you know,
and it was so many things. I'm into crystals. Oh,
I'm into uh African spirituality. It just just
just thank you. Thank you for your message across
space and time. Wow. Thank you for your message
beyond space and time. So honored to receive your
words and I love love love the idea of prayer
vessels. That is such a spell that is such a
potent way for us to visualize conceptualize what
we are doing when we're creating artwork. these
prayer vessels go forward across time and space,
sharing our prayers out into the universe and
to whoever receives them. And h I just really
really appreciate you naming that, saying that,
and reflecting back how important listening to
these episodes has been for you. It really means
a lot to me to hear your words. And I just want to
say just how much I love that you're listening
while you're sleeping and that you're waking
up. And I also love crystals and I also listen
to podcasts when I sleep. And I think it is so
incredible to work within the liinal realms of
the dream and waking cycles. And so yes, yes,
yes. Just really loved hearing your message. Thank
you so much, Kianga. Really appreciate it. Okay,
so I think that's all the questions I have from
folks. all the messages I received. Thank you
again for sharing your messages, everyone. I
promised that there would be a giveaway as a
part of inviting you all through my newsletter
to share your questions or reflections. Again,
you could sign up to my newsletter by going to
yourartisaspell.com if you want to make sure you
get these kinds of messages in the future. And so,
as you can see here, we have a wheel of names. Uh,
I h I wrote down everyone's names who was kind
enough to share a question or reflection and
the winner is going to receive a free tote
bag. And so, if you are one of the winners,
I'm going to reach out to you directly to
send you the tote bag via the mail. And so,
I'm going to click spin and we're going
to see who is going to win this tote bag.
Ah, Kianga Janaki, congratulations. I'm so happy
you are the winner. I loved loved loved your
message and it warms my heart to know that
you're going to be receiving this witchy tote
bag. I love that it has crystals on it and sacred
deer who are so deeply special to my people. So,
yay. Congratulations. This warms my heart so much
and so yeah, thank you, thank you, thank you for
being a part of season 1 of Your Art is a Spell.
It means so much to me. Now, speaking of this, I
want to share a few of the wonderful reviews that
people have left for this season over on Apple
Podcasts and on Spotify. I actually just cancelled
my Spotify subscription. I sent out a little bit
of info about it in my newsletter recently.
If you haven't seen, the CEO of Spotify has
been investing the money that he's stealing from
musicians into AI war drone technology. So, you
might consider canceling your own subscription if
that's something that you feel is not aligned with
your ethics. Anyway, regardless of where you have
heard this podcast, I wanted to say thank you for
leaving reviews and for sharing your reflections
on this podcast. Last, but definitely not least,
I wanted to say a huge thank you to all of you who
have left me reviews, who reviewed this podcast
on Apple Podcast as well as Spotify and anywhere
else you get your podcasts. Unfortunately, I have
discovered that I cannot find people who reviewed
this podcast who did not write something. For
example, we received 12 five-star reviews on Apple
podcast this season. Thank you so much. But only
six of you wrote something and I want to say thank
you to the six of you who wrote something. And you
are the people that I'm going to be selecting for
a 30 minute reading. Now, if you are someone who
has left me a review on either Apple Podcast or
Spotify, but you didn't write something, I want
you to know that I'm going to be doing a special
30-minute tarot reading raffle for you all. So,
if you want to send me an email and submit your
name to be a part of this raffle, please send me
an email. You can find that information by going
to my website, yourartisaspell.com. I'm going to
have a special raffle for folks who have rated
this podcast but who didn't leave a review because
I do believe there are at least 10 to 12 people
who I am not counting in this raffle for a free
30 minute tarot reading. So without further
ado I want to thank Box Club just orca boy7
Francisquito the Hermit Sarah Oregon and Firefly
Bright. Thank you all so much for your lovely,
lovely words and for leaving me a review on Apple
Podcasts. This helps us expand our webs. So again,
I want to invite you if you're listening to this,
cast your spells into the algorithm by liking,
subscribing, sharing this episode with a friend.
All of this helps our community be stronger and
more connected, and it could win you something at
some point. as I will be giving away more things
on season two of your art is a spell coming up
in just a few months. Okay, so we're gonna be
spinning the wheel here for a free 30-minute tarot
reading with me. Again, thank you to everyone
who's left me a review. Keep those reviews coming
and send me an email if you don't see your name
here on this list. And let's count to three.
Let's take a deep breath in. One, two, three.
Okay, I'm going to click spin.
Woohoo! Congratulations, Firefly Bright. I'm
going to be giving you a free 30-minute tarot
reading with me. Please reach out to me.
Send me an email if you are firefly bright.
I'm so looking forward to offering you a
free 30-minute tarot reading. And with that,
I just want to say thank you all for being a part
of season 1 of your art is a spell. I'm going to
be sharing one last episode for season one. But
this podcast would not exist without all of you.
So many of you have reached out, have contributed,
have given your suggestions, have shared friends
that you would like to see on the podcast. You've
invited me to your podcast. And there's so much
coming for season 2. And I just wanted to say that
as an experiment that I've been doing this year,
2025, I'm so happy to say that this has been
such a wild success beyond anything I could
have imagined. I've met dozens and dozens of new
people. And I feel so much more connected to all
of you because of this podcast. And I think that
is such a win, especially as I am really working
to stay in the underground and to find other
places for us to stay connected that are not being
controlled by techno, oligarch, fascists. Y'all
know what I mean. Much love. And until next time,
do not forget that your art is a spell and it will
change your life and the world around us. Bye.
