Good morning, Daily Peppers. And a very happy Friday to you. It is the end of a week that you've never had before, so I thought today I'd ask both of us a question, which is, what did you learn about yourself this week? For many of us, we tend to do the big reflecting around the new year or the start of a new season or a new quarter. And we forget there's so much data, and there's so much we can learn from every new week and every new day. So what did you learn about yourself or about the ways you wanna live your life or the ways you don't wanna do things this week? It doesn't have to be some huge epiphany, though it might be. It may be something tiny, and it might be something that makes next week a little bit more joyful if you planned it with that in mind. There are so many things out there like personality quizzes, and don't get me wrong, I'm an absolute sucker for them, and I think they can be incredibly insightful. But I also think we can get a huge level of insight just from the little lessons we pick up along the way.
Your lesson could be something like, I need a bit more sleep to function properly. And going back to what we were saying earlier in the week, our brains love using our creativity to solve problems, and that is a great starting point. It could be that hanging out with a certain person really drains your energy. Again, that can be a great starting off point to explore. And if you're struggling to think of something, it might be helpful to think of, like, what you're getting sick of. So are you getting sick of always dreading a Monday morning? Are your lunches really boring? Are you feeling uninspired lately? All of these things provide great clues on how we can adapt just slightly and get that bit closer to building a life that we love that works for us. So get thinking about your lesson. Maybe email it to Monday you to remember.
And remember that everything changes when you believe you matter. And taking the time to learn the lessons and the things that work for you can be a great way of showing yourself that you matter. So have a good one. I can't wait to be back with you on Sunday in your inbox or Monday in your lovely ears for a new episode of the daily pep. And I'll see you then.
