What is Gospel Portions?

Reminders of the gospel that was preached to you, which you received, in which you stand, and by which you are being saved, that you may hold fast to the word preached to you.

Ryan Bush:

In all the scripture, there is not an ill word against a poor sinner stripped of self righteousness. Nay, it plainly points out this man to be the subject of the grace of the gospel and none else, Thomas Wilcox.

Ryan Bush:

Justification is an act of God's free grace unto sinners in which he pardoneth all their sin, accepteth and accounteth their persons righteous in his sight, not for anything wrought in them or done by them, but only for the perfect obedience and full satisfaction of Christ by God imputed to them and received by faith alone. This is true and clear.

Ryan Bush:

When Satan tempts me to despair and tells me of the guilt within, upward I look, and I see him there, who made an end of all my sin. Because the sinless savior died, my sinful soul is counted free. For God the just is satisfied to look on him and pardon me. Behold him there, the risen lamb, my perfect spotless righteousness, the great unchangeable I am, the king of glory and of grace.
