Off to the Valley is a podcast that brings to light incredible stories of those who left the familiarity of home for new horizons. Inspired by Silicon Valley culture, it really extends to a global community of individuals who've dared to step outside their comfort zones.

Melissa Kwan: You could be spending
a couple months a year in Canada

and the US and making connections
here and there, such that you can

build a business there, right?

You don't actually need to live in a
place in order to build a business there.

And I think that's, what's
beautiful about the generation,

the time that we live in now.

Lloyed Lobo: A lot of
people say he got lucky.

This girl got lucky.

Everyone gets lucky, man.

The reality is luck and risk
are two sides of the same coin.

The ones that get lucky are the
ones that never stop flipping.

They keep flipping risk.

And one day, the coin flips luck, right?

And so that is, I think, an
important thing to keep in mind.

Kausambi Manjita: As you gain
experience, you start seeing a

lot of patterns and you also see a
lot of things that haven't worked.

When things work, you're
starting to see now patterns

out of things that are working.

So your wealth or your USP is that you
have this bank, a data bank, whether

it's intuitive or real frameworks.

You have intuition plus a
framework or set of frameworks.

Esben Friis-Jensen: We think about
things a bit differently, maybe

because it's my second company
but we are fully bootstrapped.

We think profit first in everything we do.

We are only a team of three and we've been
able to grow the revenue to $4.5 million

ARR with product-led growth basically.
