And just a little bit of that, I don't take the total of it, but I take 30% of that and
it adds to the villain point bar.
And we use these points to reroll D20s.
They do it for their characters and whatever other functions the Hero Points do in Pathfinder
second edition, like they're about to die, they can come back, they can reroll D20s and
stuff, which sometimes helps them and also makes them roll natural ones.
And natural ones have a complication system over at patreon.com forward slash narrative
declaration where bad things happen and they can't reroll those.
And I can mess with them with villain points so it's fun.
Yeah, everyone, imagine that you can go to the Patreon right now and submit a complication
where an old lady appears out of nowhere.

If they do it correctly, uh, they get some hair points and if they mess up, I get more
villain points and I'll increase my total if I need to make it super.

Um, we got together as a group and we essentially made a plan of action is how I would describe

We were like, okay, this is the situation.
We got to go get the blacksmith.

But first of all, before we execute our fabulous plan, we've got to get some shopping done.
We got to get some supplies.
So, oh my God, Zoran, I can hear myself through you and it's been, it's been, it's been smashing me out.
Oh God.
Yeah, I had, um, let me see here.

If we all scream loud enough, we can also make Zoran scream.
Yeah, I had to switch to some different, uh, open backed headphones.

So, and then we had to go out shopping and get our supplies for our big adventure to go get the blacksmith back because that's what the special red gem.
Um, and even before the red gem, honestly, we were like, oh shit, the blacksmith got kidnapped and we need the blacksmith to get all our supplies for the big parade, the big fair, which, uh, is a, is a big throwback.
We were originally like this all started because we were going to get suppliers to make really cool stuff that we could help the Elmas sell at a big parade.
And it was going to be sick.
Uh, so that, that's like the, the context for that.
Um, and like I was like, I'm going to talk like the, and just progressively got louder.
Fuck, sorry.
I get excited.
I talk, I get louder when I get excited.
It's fine now.
I've made adjustments.

So then we went out shopping and Zoran went, okay, do you, do you want to play an NPC?
Because I nat 20'd on Beetle's knowledge of the area and Zoran's.

And Zoran was like, since you have a nat 20 and Beetle knows so much, why don't you play a vendor?
And, uh, I, I told Zoran after the campaign, hey, if you hate that character, you could just kill them off.
Because what I did was I made a Dogecoin parody.
So there was a market man who ran, like, a store that sells jewelry and stuff.
And it's a family of magical doges.
They're gnolls, but they look like doges.
And, uh, the, the, the goons without Beetle, they all went into the store to try and see if they could sell an emerald that was worth a lot of money.
And the dogs, they really wanted this emerald.
They really, they really wanted this emerald.
So the dogs, they were, they were, but they wanted to get, they wanted to get the emerald for less.
So I was trying to, like, gamble, is it the right word?
Uh, uh, haggle, haggle.
I was haggling as these, this family of doges, and dogs were crawling in through the windows.
Uh, one dog died.
He had a heart attack.
And, uh, in the midst of this bartering process, a big round tiefling built like a bowling ball with two peg legs came inside of the shop.
And he had these big diamond hands.
And he was all like, um, silly doges, I hate puppies.
Come next door to the diamond hands emporium to where I, all my deals are so much better.
And then the haggling turned into like, like we got third partied in Fortnite.
Like that's how it felt like.
So everything, we were like one V one and then we got third partied.
So diamond hands came in and then it was like a three way haggling and it was a mess.
And this is around the time that grandpoppy gnoll, he had a heart attack.
Other gnolls were still coming in and out of windows, crawling around on the walls, on the ceiling.
Uh, and the entire interaction ended with the gnolls inevitably getting the emerald, but not before they offered, uh, I think it was like 300 gold or something.

So they offered 365 gold, uh, some neckties with doge coin logos, doge coin emblazoned neckties for the party.
And also a magical toe ring, which summons dogs.
So they were, they were really, their business was bled dry.
Like they fucking broke into the doge family coin coffers and bled them out dry.
I took them for everything they had.
And yeah, they left with these beautiful neckties.
They left with a magical toe ring and an emerald and, uh, Tlaib, do you want to say what the fuck you did to my toe ring?

He kind of leans in to all of you.
Uh, so did Beetle rejoin us by the time that we, uh, had left or had Beetle still, you know, like handed off to go look for, you know, firearms?

So, you know, we had been walking out and away from the establishment.
Talim doesn't look back at the explosion.

Beetle licks some of the chocolate off the road, the melting chocolate, while he's walking.
Like, he drops down to all floors and drakes his tongue while he's walking.
As some cinders land on heart and just continue to burn, he goes, have a nice trick.

a fire in a major city is really bad, especially here in the Ponds Blaster, where it's just a
bunch of shambles and stuff.
This is kind of a slightly nicer area.

You know, the diamond hands, McBlark takes care of his stuff.
And, um, you'll see that as he kind of motions go, Oh, one moment, please.
He'll take out something from his wish coat and go ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding,

He'll just start to ring a bell or so, and he'll put it back and go, Nah, the fire guild
will be taking care of the soup.

And what you will all see kind of collectively and like to be seen inside.

I want you to imagine what a dingy medieval goodwill would be like.

Think of like random scuffed up, like something got moved and it brought up the carpet a little
bit on the floor.
For some reason, like there's like an item there who's not been touched since the store
has been open for the past two owners and he's just been forgotten there.
There's like just grungy like pots and pans in one area.
But you do notice just like in true American fashion, like a Walmart aisle, there's a rack
of weapons behind his counter freely out there.
So this store is a lot like that random little dingy shop in a mall that you see, like, you
know, it has that, that rack of prop weapons and like cheap knives.
Like you find it in anime convention.
Yeah.
Like mall ninja shit.
Exactly.

So, so think of that.
But, um, as you go inside, you'll see this tons of items around, like shelves stacked with
things here and there.
And you see as McBlark comes in, you see his giant rotund figure really struggles to go
down the shelves.
And he's like sliding through and he finally comes down to one of the, uh, into the front
of the counter and go like, look around, just tell me if anything you find is of interest.
Now, this is supplementing things because you guys have already gave me a really big shopping
list.
So I'm going to go down some stuff and, uh, pick some things out.
Also, we should probably stop having Omen playing because it's not that scary.

I wish I had, uh, I think there's, um, I can't remember the Patreon's name, but they
do have lovely music stuff, but they don't have like classic, like Legend of Zelda shop
theme, like they don't have like bump, bump, bump, bump, bump, like he's all, yeah, you're
in a shop.
It's all just like, it's all like you are going to die, you know, almost all of them,
which is great for, you know, a darker fantasy campaign, but it's like, Hey, anyway, we'll
just play this one.
So you guys are in.
So what I'm going to start off with is, um, I'll start with heart.
It's heart.
You have, uh, some weapon or some stuff you've been trying to get for a while.
Uh, what is, what was your shopping list real fast?
Uh, I have two objects.
I have only two objects, argumentably three.
Uh, uh, for heart, I would very much enjoy getting a, um, a thing called hand wraps of
mighty blows.
And I wanted to thematically just make it that, uh, his actual wrist guards and like
leg wraps and all those, uh, used to have like very good lining on the inside and that's
torn away because this man moves in a way that people shouldn't.
And, uh, he would like to have a new fine lining for them.
So he's looking around for, you know, some cool, uh, you know, maybe silk wrappings or
something like that to put on the inside.
And then they just might have to enhance his unarm strikes.
You are, uh, you're going through the various shelves and stuff and, uh, and you do find,
you do find something, uh, you find some lovely red and gold styled, you know, silk, you know,
like a silk lining at first you find it wrapped around a teapot or so.
And as you kind of pick up the teapot and you're going to the cloth and you begin to
feel it, you're like, somebody doesn't know what they mess with.
This is very durable cloth and it's very finely made.
So apparently someone just put it around the teapot.
It's like a warmer really is a little teapot warmer.
So it's like weird.
So you keep looking at it and you find it, you know, wrapped around the teapot.
So you find your hand wraps.
Heck yeah.
Uh, then I had two more objects on my list.
Uh, one of them is more mundane.
Uh, I would just like to get a lantern, uh, because heart has run into the darkness X amount
of times and that's a bad choice.
Uh, you're gonna have a bad time.
I'm gonna have a bad time.
And I thought that getting a small, like, uh, dark souls styled hip lantern would, uh,
would be pretty beneficial if they were to dwell down into the delving, um, you know,
ruins below the city.
Now, um, there is no hip lantern.
Um, kind of styled for that, but what I can do, it's not like a lantern lantern ion, but
I'll see if this could be a good supplement.

An infinite amount of times, yet it costs two actions, so it's like, it's a very focused ability.
You can lift any object that your hands can, like, touch.
With both of your hands, you can lift any object that weighs eight bulk or less, as if it was weightless.
And you can continue to channel this forever.
Uh, and you can use, uh, athletics to force open things.
Meaning that you can just put two hands on a door and, uh, and attempt to break it open.
Uh, it's a super fun item for people who are strength-based, but want more utility for that strength.
And I thought that that would be fun, since we are going into dungeoneering, and I might
be able to open doors by literally just pushing them down.

And you look, and you look down and you see that everything's normal.

Talim at that point, like his, um, what everybody else would see is like his eyes go wide.

Like his kind of like lacks and, you know, like, uh, easygoing posture, uh, would noticeably shift to one.
Like he's caught off guard.
Um, and he would actually start to reach down and act like he was trying to put his shield, uh, over the person.

It's like, just, just hold on.

you are heading over to some ruins that Lorne Barnes has kind of pretty much marked on your map
and gave you some instructions on where to go.
You were told that you were heading over to the ruins to basically find various signs.
Lorne suspects that the Crocs gang members have kind of, like, infested this entire area
because they seem to have found something.
And Lorne has been looking for various artifacts and magical items and things like that.
And he's hired all of you for a good, sizable amount of gold to go in
and bring back whatever you find, report on whatever you find.
But you do know it's filled with a bunch of Crocs gang members.
And you've dealt with them before.
One of them shot you with a crossbow.
And you even had Brug, good old Brug, turn sides and help you out.
So you've had an extensive experience with them before.
We have an insider.

But as you're getting closer to it, it does begin to turn dark.
And then you find yourself going through various passageways through all these disheveled buildings.
You see the ground just cracked open and shifted on various parts until you find potentially the place where you're trying to go.
Now, as I try to bring you all to it.

I'll preload this for you and bring you all inside.

So you can have your, I assume you get all your weapons ready and stuff as you come in.
As soon as a battle match shows, they're like, oh, shit.

So you do arrive and you see the torches are lit and you do hear various bits of commotions further on.
And you see that most of the buildings around you are disheveled or collapsed inside, but still standing on top of their own rubble.
While the cobbled stone streets kind of splattered about here and there and kind of shifted over due to the fall of the pond's palaster into the earth, you now arrive where you suspect is where the ruins are.
What do you all do?
As we get closer, Talim will kind of like, motion for everybody to kind of slow down a little bit.
He's like, Loren suggested that when we approach this area, we use stealth as our main means of making it through.
He did mention that there would be a lot of the members of the Krog gang present, and that if we wanted to enter into the ruins unaccosted, a bit of caution might prevail.
Darn it, I'm not going to be able to use my gun I just bought.

Could I, based off my memory of this, take the hat out, put it on, and make it look like I'm wearing those clothes and change the appearance of the hat to look like a hood that's covering part of my face?
You can use an impersonate roll using deception to disguise yourself.

Yeah, so you probably might want to guarantee and see what you could sneak in with for it.
Because the hat of disguise, they use the activations for one minute, frequency once per day, and the hat casts a level one illusory disguise spell on you.

Um, and basically, you're casting the spell, the activation takes one minute.
It doesn't last for one minute, it takes a minute to do.

But you finally come down to where the stairs eventually stop.
And you see there's this rubble along the stone floor.
But this one seems a bit more intact of a hallway.
This one seems like it won't collapse under you the further you go down.

six flat fire damage on a critical hit. The target takes double damage for each additional action you
use when casting the spell. You could fire an additional ray at a different target or the same
one to a maximum of three rays targeting three different targets for three actions. That's
distinctive. Yeah, that's weird. These attacks each, uh, increase your multiple attack penalty,
but you don't increase your multiple attack penalty until after you make all the spell attack
rolls for Scorching Ray. If you spend two or more actions casting the spell, the damage increases the
2d6 fire damage on the hit, and it still deals double damage on a critical. So you're basically looking
at stuff. Yeah. So basically he's like, how dare you? And he starts to cast magic. And I was like,
and Talima's just like, mage tool it is. Um, and I will actually spend two actions to cast Scorching
