One Gospel Minute

In a world where laws are ignored, judgments are unfair, and wrong is often declared right, remember the words of the prophet Isaiah who warned against such times (Isaiah 5:20-21). The wisdom of man may lead to confusion, but God's wisdom brings order. Don't be swayed by false beliefs. God's truth endures through all generations and confounds worldly wisdom. Stick to the truth, follow God and His Word, for therein lie facts, good sense and judgment. That's the essence of the gospel.

David Hill: [00:00:00] Does the world seem upside down to you? Laws are set aside, unfair judgments, and that which is wrong declared to be right. Yes, the old prophet Isaiah knew something about it over 2500 years ago. He wrote, "Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter. Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes." (Isaiah 5:20-21). The wisdom of this world, man's wisdom, confuses, but God, the originator of all wisdom, brings order. Some feel pressured to believe that which is not true. Don't fall for it. The truth of God endures to all generations (Psalm 100). God confounds the wise of this world by His wisdom, often regarded as foolishness (I Cor. 1:27). Friends don't give up on the truth. Follow God and His Word. Facts, good sense, good judgment are found there. That's the gospel. Thank you for listening to One Gospel Minute.
