I saw some statistic from the FBI. 73% of home invasions are through the slider. Why? Well, stop and think about it for a minute. There's no good line of sight. Neighbors can't really see what's going on. If I'm the bad guy trying to get in, they can't see me. And they can't hear me that well either cuz many times sliders are around the wall. The sound is muffled and there's easy in, easy out. And as a bad guy, that's the thing I want most. From the slider, I can see what's going on inside there. I can see if there's someone there. I can see if there's a pet there. And I've got a nice big opening. In 30 seconds or less, here's how it happens. It's a paver from your patio. Goes right through the glass. The glass shatters. Alarm goes off. Doesn't stop them. Still going to the master bedroom. That's where the gun, the prescriptions, and the safe is right straight to the master bedroom and out through that nice big opening in 2 minutes or less. Go to your slider, your glass slider. See if you can pick it up out of the track. You'd be surprised. You probably can. You could get one of those bars, you know, you can buy one of those bars that go on the inside of your home and it prevents someone from trying to open that door. That's helpful, but it's not going to prevent someone from lifting that glass panel out of the track like I mentioned. And it's not going to stop someone from throwing a paver through that glass. That bar there, if that's all you can afford, definitely do that, right? Every single bit of security helps every step of the way. The real solution to keeping someone out, a home invader, is this
security screen. The mesh is stainless steel. The frames are aircraft grade aluminum. There's no one getting through here. The panels are encased in this frame. Goes all the way around the perimeter of the opening. The frame that we mount over your slider goes into the studs of your home, the subframe of your home. There's no way to pry your way in here because now we have a four-point lock. We have a lock here. We have two locks here and a lock down there. You turn the lock, boom, all four bolts engage. Turn the lock again, all four bolts disengage. With the four-point lock system, there's no way to get in. These things are heavy, but with the uh metal rocket wheels, I'm really excited about that smooth glide. And, you know, as I mentioned, if you were strong enough, you could try to lift this thing, but it's encased, as you see up here, it's encased all the way around. So, you can't pry your way in, you can't smash your way in, you can't lift that thing out. When we install our slider, we mount on the outside of your existing slider. We don't modify that at all. You won't need that bug screen anymore because our screens will keep the bugs out, the bugs and the thugs, right? We mount into the subframe of your home. We use wood screws every 8 in around the perimeter of that opening. Whomever you choose, and I hope you choose us, watch the install. Be sure they're not cutting a corner. Some companies will just pin the four corners and they're done. They'll cover it up. Client doesn't know cuz time is money. They're getting paid to complete the install. They're not getting paid to do it well, right? So, just be sure, you know, to keep an eye on things. Be sure every install is being done well. Most sliders are just production sliders. They're not high quality. They don't have high quality locks. They're just sliders. When the builder built your home, unless it's a customuilt home, they're looking for the wham bam thank you ma'am type solution, right? They're not looking for a high-end thing. It doesn't come with high-end locks. It doesn't have high-end materials, right? Because they wanted to keep that cost down. security screen is the answer for that slider in the back where the home invasion is most likely to occur. So, I I implore you, do it now. Secure that thing. Don't wait another day. Don't become a statistic. Don't become a victim. Don't become a should a would a coulda, right? Just get it done. Secure it today.
