David Hill: [00:00:00] Burdened down with the cares of life? The question comes, "Do you know Jesus?" I'm David Hill and I want you to know Jesus. Several things are involved. In Acts chapter 8, the Ethiopian eunuch wanted to know Jesus, and the Bible says Philip preached Jesus to him. Involved in preaching Jesus had to be God's plan, had to have involved the church, and we know for sure baptism is part of knowing Jesus because, in this case, the eunuch interrupted the preacher to say, "Here's water. What hinders me from being baptized?" The response? They stopped the chariot. They went down into the water, both Philip and the eunuch, and he was baptized, and both came up out of the water, and the eunuch went on his way rejoicing. Why? Burdens lifted. Sin washed away. Gone. He was starting life anew. A Christian.

Part of the Lord's body. The church. That's good news! Do you know Jesus? Thank you for listening to One Gospel Minute.
