Good morning.
And welcome to morning cereal
Okay, good morning again
and welcome to Wednesday.
And as you might recall, we're off this
week, but not to worry,
I'm not going to leave
you without the proper
dose of morning cereal.
It's part of your
daily balanced nutrition.
Plus, I just like to say,
"Mike, Mike, Mike, Mike.
Hey, Mike, what day is it?"
Well, here's a quote to get your day
going in a positive direction.
It's from Eleanor Roosevelt who said,
"With the new day comes new
strength and new thoughts."
Well, we've been reading through Dale
Carnegie's "How to Win
Friends and Influence People,"
and right now we're still
in part four of the book.
But let's take a quick look back at part
three, which was
entitled, "How to Win People
to Your Way of Thinking."
And here are the first six principles of
Dale's 12 principles from this section.
Now principle number one was, "The only
way to get the best of
an argument is to avoid
it."
Number two, show respect for
the other person's opinions.
Never say, "You are wrong."
Number three, if you are wrong, admit it
quickly and emphatically.
Number four, begin in a friendly way.
Number five, get the other person saying,
"Yes, yes, immediately."
And principle number six, let the other
person do a great deal of the talking.
So we'll be back with regular programming
on next Monday, but
I'll pour another small
bowl of morning cereal and have it ready
for you again tomorrow morning.
Have a fantastic day.
