Hello and welcome to WORDTheatre Weekly: The Short Story
Podcast where great authors and actors meet! I’m your host, Cedering Fox,
WORDTheatre’s Founder & Artistic Director.
Happy Valentine's Day! In honor of this beautiful holiday, we have two love stories for you to enjoy. We will start with a bittersweet love story titled “Keith,” written by Ron Carlson, and performed by Elizabeth Mc Govern. We will close this episode on a high note with a little Ron Carlson gem,, “Two Reasons,” performed by Alex Wolff at a benefit for The Pushcart Prize in East Hampton several years ago! Ron has been honored with a National Endowment for the Arts Fellowship in Fiction, a National Society of Arts and Letters Award, and the Ploughshares Cohen Prize.
Before we get started, please note that WORDTheatre holds the copyright to these recordings and no portion of anything you hear on WORDTheatre Weekly, our short story podcast, may be reproduced without permission.
We are honored to have author Ron Carlson, a longtime WORDTheatre participant, here to introduce both of his stories. Please welcome Ron Carlson.
